Google
It’s a semi-outdoor lounge bar. Cool to chill at for a change of atmosphere with an outdoor but covered setting . Great views of the Brooklyn bridge and Brooklyn. Cool place to chill with friends but a bit loud. Best going before the crowd hits.

Google
Lovely view, relaxed atmosphere, helpful staff great date atmosphere..... pricey drinks but it's Manhattan so that's to be expected overall great place to relax on a warm spring night

Google
The perfect spot to take in beautiful city views of the East River, Brooklyn Bridge and Statue of Liberty – the Heineken Riverdeck is your new spot to while away a summer Friday or catch up with friends before seeing a show at The Rooftop at Pier 17 Summer Concert Series.

Jaclyn Barrientes

Google
It's a nice view of the Brooklyn Bridge from here and the place is nice and clean. Food and beer options in the booths are limited. I mean, of course you're only getting Heineken. The hotdog is made of chicken, but let me tell you, it's actually really good with the mustard that comes with it. Spend a peaceful afternoon here if you have time to kill.

Michael Rabadi

Google
These people destroyed one of the best spots in the city. Now it's just a bunch of way too loud, terrible "music" polluting a once beautiful view. If you want some terrible, disgusting beer while listening to the top 40 pop anthems blasted into your ears as you try to enjoy one of the most peaceful views of the city, then you might want to come here and then get some therapy. This is horrendous.

Rutger van Faassen

Google
The Heineken River Lounge is in a great location with awesome views of the Brooklyn Bridge. The drinks and snacks are good but the Market Hall food is a little disappointing. The lineup of great chefs looks promising but none of their restaurants are currently open. I will wait until they open up before I return.

Alexander Nadig

Google
The Heineken River Lounge is a brand new Bar with an very nice view to the Brooklyn bridge and over Brooklyn. It offers beer, wine cocktails and some nuts and snacks with nice music. I hope they will change the plastic caps to real glasses.

Went to the pumpkin arch they put up for Halloween, super pretty. Long lines and some people take over 30 mins. for their photos. I would suggest a staff member limit some minutes for everyone to make it fair.

Yelp
Excellent service we arrived very late and the kitchen was closing, but the host Paul graciously allowed us to have dinner. Branzino and the cocktails were excellent as was our waitress, 5 Stars

Yelp
I recently ate at The Fulton for my boyfriend's birthday. It was a little hard to find so make sure you go all the way to the water and you'll see it. Ambiance- it was dimly lit and nicely decorated. The views of the water are the highlight. Food and drinks- bread and butter are complimentary. I do think warmed bread would have been a nice touch. For appetizers, my boyfriend liked the octopus dish. None of the main dishes really caught my eye so I ordered the simply prepared scallops which were good. The small salad it was served with was pretty bitter. The fries were tiny, hand cut style. My boyfriend ordered the fried swordfish scallopini. He enjoyed it. I thought it was decent. For drinks, I had the Yuzu 75 which was decent. Service-our server was nice. He gave his menu suggestions. My primary gripe is I indicated in the reservation that it was my boyfriend's birthday and that wasn't acknowledged my the hostess or server. If I'm spending over $200 for a meal and I've specifically indicated a special occasions, I think it should be taken into account by the staff. Overall, it was a nice meal but I don't think it's worth the price tag (and I eat out a lot).

Yelp
So hard to find it almost feels like they don't particularly care whether customers visit or not. Apparently it's changed locations on the pier since last year. Very quiet on a Monday evening. Sitting upstairs, the view of the river and bridges was fabulous. The calamari herb salad was fine to share between the three of us. It was fresh, nicely cooked calamari. My main of spaghetti alle vongole was surprisingly greasy. The little clams were fun, and the flavor ok, but, dripping in oil, it was a little off putting. Wife had the steamed sea bass and loved it. We'd stopped in the Tin Building for a cocktail before visiting the Fulton, and were happily surprised with how cool a place it was with the variety of vendors. Next time we're in the area, I expect we'll head to the Tin Building and stay there through dinner.

Yelp
Once you walk in even without reservation there were plenty of seating, only if you go in at 5pm. Up until 6pm it seems all the seats were taken. If you want the best view outdoor seating on a good weather make sure to go when they first open. Original plan was to try the lobster roll but they didn't have it for dinner. We were guided to our seats very quickly and the view was magnificent. What we order: Kale and Arugula Salad : $20 Good kix and flavor goes well together need some greens in our life Warm Octopus and Fresh Mozzarella: $32 mozzarella was indeed fresh and bouncy. Octopus was seasoned well. Whole steam Maine Lobster : $52 Fresh and good amount of meat dipped into butter. Branzino : $42 flaky fish and crispy and on the outside . Spaghetti: $34 with clams delicious love the sauce in it. Caramel cheese cake: this was ok crust was good but cheese cake inside can use some work I didn't feel the combination work for dessert. They did gave us a complimentary dessert with a candle on it because it was one of the guest birthday. That was pretty nice of them ! Overall the food was good. The appetizer came out quick. The entree took some time probably because it was Friday night and everyone started coming in. Good service, bit pricey but can be made up for the view if you get to sit outside during good weather!

Yelp
Absolutely gorgeous space for a nice meal. It is right on the river, which allows for views of the bridge while you eat your meal. There is plenty of space both indoors and out, so it's suitable for parties of all sizes. To start, we all shared oysters and the crispy calamari herb salad. Both were delicious! Since I was here for lunch, I chose to order an Arnold palmer and the gruyere cheeseburger. The Arnold palmer was crisp and refreshing (perfect for a hot sunny day), and multiple others who had also ordered it agreed. The cheeseburger, while good, was not entirely for me. I was not a big fan of the Dijon chili mayonnaise, which somewhat overpowered the burger, in my opinion. Additionally, the au jus tasted too salty for me (and I typically don't feel that was about au jus!). That said, I could tell it was all high-quality ingredients, and another person in my party enjoyed the burger more. So definitely could just be a personal preference! Service was friendly and I felt the meal was paced appropriately. Would recommend to others and also come back myself to try something different.

Yelp
Good location and they have tons of seating. On a good weather day, the outside is great but I should warn you the space adjacent is a public place and people sometimes blast music which you don't have control over (if that kills your vibe, choose wisely) We went for restaurant week so dinner was 60$ without tax and tips and beverages. We started with the oysters and the calamari salad. Oysters were fresh and nice accompaniments came with them. The calamari was fried well, not greasy but crispy. Very fresh dish! Next we ordered the burger and the vongole Unfortunately the vongole was too salty :( I ate the clams though :) The burger was nice and juicy. It also came with the jus which was a great addition They only had two dessert options both of which we ordered. The cookie was a good cookie - banana poppyseed. But it literally came by itself. Just the cookie. I did expect something else at this establishment The ice cream course was also just three scoops of ice cream. Again, nothing wrong with that just I expected more from here. Overall, I doubt I'll be coming back but for the 60$ the experience was fine :) My cucumber martini was also a letdown so maybe stay off cocktails and order wine cos they had a decent selection . The yuzu drop was a better drink though although not amazing or anything

Yelp
NYC Seaport. The food was fresh and everything was delicious! The service was prompt and our waiters were very nice. We had an array of dishes as a family style. Ceasar salad had a spicy bite with a tartness that works well together. Shrimp tacos were fantastic! I normally don't like a fish or shrimp tacos, but the flavors went so well with the corn tortilla. If you like sashimi, every piece was tender and fresh. The burger was delicious not quite cooked to a medium well, a little too red. But, I left talking about the flavor. The chicken with red n green peppers was also good. Now the desserts... The pear puree was paired with the chocolate mousse with icecream and a peanut butter pie, Caramel pie with some sort of almond the mousse was my favorite. Everything was perfect, and the meal ending with a cappuccino hit nicely. The water and bridge views from the restaurant were also nice. This is a great place for groups, a date, friends, or by yourself!

Yelp
Tricky place to find their front door at night. Highly recommend you make a reservation for the upper (2nd floor) dining room for better ambiance and exquisite views. Panoramic city views from both the dining rooms. Great wine and drink list, enjoyed my whisky sour with egg white. Crab cups appetizer were excellent. Pan fried swordfish was amazing and cooked to perfection. Batter was crunchy even with the caper sauce. The grilled romaine lettuce was interesting but bland. Salmon was good. Poached pear dessert was unique and tasted great.

Yelp
Amazing views and excellent dining experience. Dined at the Fulton during NYC Summer Restaurant Week. The Florida Red Snapper Ceviche was so fresh and packed with flavor. Spaghetti alle Vongole and Roasted Salmon were amazing. Can't wait to stop by again to try the full menu.

Yelp
This seafood counter is located inside of the beautiful Tin Building (Jean Georges establishment/food hall/market)... Reminds me a lot of Blue Island Oyster Bar in Denver. IYKYK! Menu is everything I dream of as a pescatarian. one word: FRESH. Ordered: *Swedish Rye w/ salted butter *24 Oysters (variety of 6 different kind I believe) *Blinis w/ JG Select Caviar *Fish N Chips (flounder) w/ tartar *Clam chowder to finish *Few glasses of champagne each Very helpful, courteous service. The team worked well in unison! Formidable portion of the fish n chips as it was 2 large pieces of flounder, but I conquered them. Incredibly fresh array of oysters -- that days were from Massachusetts and Canada. Delectable mignonette + cocktail sauce. Partner loved the clam chowder. We both loved the caviar (light and briny like certain oysters), blinis, and creme fraiche! I wish i would have gotten the thinner fries vs steak fries -- that's on me. the steak fries were incredibly crispy on the outside while retaining a super fluffy interior, though.. just ask for malt vinegar on the side for them! The paper oyster shell foldable "clip" for the bill was the cutest touch ever, might I add.

Yelp
Wow!!! Incredible service tonight! The food was fresh and deliciously made! We had the octopus and mozzarella, dozen oysters, and brussel sprouts. I've got engaged tonight and they've accommodated our requests and went above and beyond. Olivia was attentive and wanted to help make sure tonight was special. We'll be sure to come back. My fiance would also like to thank Shay and Max on helping him plan such a perfect proposal! I said YES! Eat here!!!!

Yelp
An unexpectedly great experience! I would definitely love to go back, and not just once. AMBIENCE My favorite aspect of The Fulton is undoubtedly the ambiance. It reminds me of my favorite spot in Miami, capturing the same amazing atmosphere and vibe. The outdoor terrace is spectacular, offering breathtaking views of the Brooklyn Bridge and DUMBO area. The décor is exceptionally stylish, adding to the overall vibe. The attention to detail extends to the silverware and plates, enhancing the luxurious feel. It feels like a chic beachside spot on the French Riviera, yet you are facing the East River in New York. The crowd is equally stylish and tasteful, exuding a sense of celebration and appreciation for life. FOOD We weren't very hungry, so we opted for two items from the raw bar, two salads, and a dessert. Everything was amazing - I don't say that often, but we genuinely had no criticisms. Raw Bar: Ceviche and Tuna Tartare At first, we were slightly shocked by the portion sizes in relation to the pricing, as they served the dishes in tiny bowls. However, the flavors were so exquisite that we quickly forgot our initial concern, and it felt great. Both dishes were incredibly fresh and accompanied by the most delectable sauces. These are definitely must-order items. Salads: Kale Arugula Salad and Caesar Salad We generally love salads, but these truly surprised us. To understand better, we never expect anything out of the ordinary at restaurants when it comes to salads, but they surprised us. Kale Arugula Salad: Normally, I'm not a fan of kale, but this combination was fantastic. Served with green and yellow beans and a spicy avocado dressing. If you don't like spicy food, it might not be the best choice, but I found it amazing. I would love to know the recipe. Caesar Salad: Slightly less complex than the kale salad but still a standout. It featured mixed greens and some radicchio, with a delicious dressing that included anchovies and pickled chili. Despite the chili, it wasn't spicy at all. For both salads, the portion size was generous - large enough to consider ordering it as a meal on its own, or you can do it as a share for the table.  Dessert: Strawberry Sundae We initially hoped for a Tart Tatin (my favorite dessert, which is hard to find in NY), but the menu had changed. Even though their dessert selection looked fantastic, we settled on the strawberry sundae. It was absolutely divine! A combination of ice cream and sorbet, topped with meringue, fresh strawberries, and a strawberry compote. Even though I'm not typically a big fan of ice cream, this was delicious. Perfect for hot weather, very refreshing, and made in-house. SERVICE There were no issues whatsoever. Everything was impeccable and well-executed. Our server, Kam, was outstanding--attentive, polite, and, importantly, never trying to upsell us. The entire staff is positioned so that you are never left without attention. They seamlessly float across the floor, ensuring that everyone is well taken care of. The entire personnel exudes politeness and professionalism, making for a truly exceptional dining experience! We didn't have a reservation as it was a spontaneous decision, but the hostesses were incredibly polite and managed to seat us without any setbacks. During dinner, we noticed a manager floating through the floor, ensuring that every guest was having an enjoyable time. This level of attentiveness truly elevated our experience. OVERALL EXPERIENCE Absolutely positive. While the menu is rather pricey, it was worth every penny. The ambiance, food, service, and overall vibe were perfectly aligned. I would definitely go back, especially while the weather is amazing.

Yelp
I was wowed by the overall ambiance of this restaurant. It has a beautiful view of the water and is so tastefully decorated. It also somehow felt fancy, cozy and accessible all at the same time. The seafood was also great. The scallops were perfectly cooked. And I was definitely eye-ing my friends swordfish milanese.

Yelp
We were drawn to this Jean-Georges location because of the great view of the Brooklyn Bridge. The restaurant is beautiful and the food is great as well. The warm octopus with mozzarella is tender and delicious (but not a combination i thought would work). The pasta was probably my favorite - perfectly al dente with fresh clams. The salmon was ok, but not anything to write home about. The service is warm and attentive - my water glass was always full. I'd definitely come back for the octopus and the views!

Yelp
Ok food, insane pricing, terrible maitre. Sadly had to update my review. I have been at the fulton a couple of times and I really enjoyed it mainly because of the view and the staff and so for my birthday I decided to go back. TERRIBLE IDEA The food took a while because they had issues with their kitchen and our waiters overall never checked in on us, seemed confused, plates arrived at different times for everyone, not great. We decided, to give the manager some feedback and his reaction was the worst. He got very defensive and basically accused us of wanting to get free food, which we said wasn't why we were giving the feedback in the first place. Sadly, because of his rudeness the rest of the staff got less of a tip than we anticipated on giving. Also, if you are going for restaurant week, it's not worth it. You get a better deal ordering from the regular menu, which also felt like a huge ripp off.

Yelp
Very nice atmosphere and view. The food is good but for the price, the portion is tiny. The ingredients are fresh and the taste is on the milder side. One highlight is the bread, which is both soft and buttery, so I asked two of them. Given the many options in nyc for higher end food scene, I am not sure if I will be back again.

Yelp
We sat at upstairs bar, Ryan out mixologist is amazing. The people next to us was ordering a Toronto cocktail! The Rose Mae Rosa was so good. Great place to wait further your table if just have after dinner drinks.

Yelp
I came here for a solo lunch because I needed fresh air, but more importantly, I needed to stay awake. I walked in through the Pearl Alley entrance, and the hostess gave me the option to dine in or sit outside. I chose to sit outside. It was a beautiful day, I was hungry, so I ordered the crispy rock shrimp tacos and spaghetti alle vongole. The crispy rock shrimp tacos were crispy and spicy. These tacos were packed with flavor. The spaghetti alle vongole hit the spot. The portion was perfect, and it was very flavorful. All the components of the pasta dish complemented each other to create that perfect balanced flavor. I hope to return to lunch one or two more times, I definitely want to try their fish n chips and their burger.

Yelp
I had an amazing dining experience here! I came with 6 friends, and we all got the friends and family feast. This was served in 4 courses: 2 rounds of starters/appetizers, main course, then finishing with dessert. It was hands down the best meal we had in NYC, and I would 100% come back next time I'm in town. I love seafood, and I tasted so many dishes during this meal that just heightened my love for it even more. Some of my highlights were the sashimi platter (especially the scallop), black sea bass, octopus and mozzarella, and the roasted squash. Great service throughout the meal and a fairly quiet and classy ambiance to enjoy our food.

Yelp
It saddens me to write this review. For months, since moving to the area I have been looking forward to dining at the Fulton. I write this as a person who worked in the service industry for years and was trained for fine dining. I'll start with the service. Three people at the host stand. When I walked up, they asked if we had a reservation, to which I responded no. They shooed us to the side and said to wait to add our name to the list and the wait time for a table would be 30 minutes. We spent 10 minutes alone waiting for them to take our name and noticed many empty tables. The 30 minute wait turned to an hour. When we returned because we hadn't been texted after an hour, they said they didn't have a table yet. While still noticing the same tables empty, I asked what about that table? It's been empty since we arrived. "Oh! Yeah, ok, you can have that table", why wasn't that offered to begin with? Why shroud a dining experience with the illusion of long wait times? Now remember this is an hour since we set foot in the restaurant to get a table for dinner. Next, I'll describe the ambiance. It is a beautiful location on the water with a view of the Brooklyn Bridge. This is the highlight of the restaurant. The decor, environment and the name Jean-Georges is the only reason people dine here. It isn't for the food or service. Finally, we are seated and the server drops off menus and leaves. We ordered an appetizer and entrees. We usually start with dessert, to which we were informed that half of the desserts weren't available. So our food arrives. Our appetizer was the carpaccio, which was a small spoon full. No bread or anything to go with it. It was underwhelming. The burger was presented beautifully, only to be flavorless. I asked my husband to take a bite to which he responds "hmm, I taste onions and nothing else, where's the meat?" Flavorless. He ordered the fried swordfish, and noted nothing special about the dish itself. Overall, big disappointment. It is my belief that quality service begins the moment a diner sets foot in an establishment. The way customers are greeted sets the tone for the experience that follows. Do better Jean-Georges.

Yelp
What a great culinary experience! The Fulton is a high level restaurant offering great service and delicious dishes. I love their menu, everything on the menu is carefully selected and crafted for a spectacular food experience! I came here on an early dinner on Sunday and it was easy to make a reservation. The table we got had a wonderful view over the Brooklyn bridge Food, I cannot talk enough about it! Everything was too delicious, explosion of flavors! My winner was the calamari salad. So refreshing and delicious! I tried several desserts too and chocolate lava cake was amazing!

Yelp
A+++ the view, the staff, the food. The entire experience is amazing every time. The food: always fresh, perfect presentations, delicious! I would order anything on the menu and i know it would be great. There's also a free arcade at the entrance which is really cool!! The oysters are always delicious and they have a special homemade oyster sauce that is amazing

Yelp
Didn't know which area will have the best view. Booked Atrium instead of dinning room. Arrived an hour earlier than our reservation, Our waitress was extremely kind, telling us that we could eat at the table together to enjoy the sunset view. The view was amazing! Especially during sunset, although it's not Manhattan view. I would say it's not a typical classic JG style, but more like casual still maintain semi classic from the original JG. Good enough for a casual date, summer date night, girls night out. Food: not the original JG grade, like an upgraded version bar food type of place, but they are definitely Not Bad. Dessert was ok, not impressive! Cocktails were very good and creative! I think they are even better than the cocktail at Original JG

Yelp
Exceptional. Been here 2 times for dinner on Friday and Monday and the service is incredible every time. The place has a sexy dark ambiance, perfect for a date. The crowd is business, suits, usually people in their 50s or 35+. Quinoa sugar snap pea salad - this is soooo good! Easily shareable with 2 people. This is a very healthy option for people staying away with carbs. I think the sauce is very light for this salad Asparagus - beautifully well done and seared. 10/10 Petite seafood plateau - comes with 3 oysters, 3 different sashimi pieces and 3 pieces of shrimp paired with 3 sauces - shrimp was lightly boiled yet raw and was tasting oh so fresh! Oysters were removed from the shell already which was nice. Love when restaurants do this! I wish they did even numbers for the items since 1 person is going to end up getting more Sea bass was literally soooooo good I could cry the lemon sauce was so so good Halibut - cooked to tenderness, broth was delish. But liked the sea bass more. I came during the sunset and the bridges in the background were literally catching my eyes and I honestly fell in love with this place

Yelp
The Fulton has become a favorite stop for us as the amount of outdoor seating is not to be missed and hard to find nowadays. We stopped in on a slightly gray day to grab a bite of lunch and once again we treated to a delicious meal. The food is always well prepared and the flavors so inventive and delicious. Yet again the only thing we found sightly lacking is the service as it can be slow at times and the servers lack a bit of polish you may find at other establishments. This remains a great stop though when in the financial district and you're seeking waterside dining.

Yelp
It's the name that drives the crowd but in this case the place was empty and no crowd. Food was just average, not worth going if your in NYC. Don't let the name full you. Service was slow and food was cold. Drinks took forever to serve and the place was again empty. Beautiful view where it's located just skip the meal.
google avatar

Yelp
First, the view and service were great. We were seated in a corner table, and the view was stunning. When we spilled water, the waiters were very attentive and made sure every part of the table was dry. The food, however, was not great. We participated in the restaurant week menu and were offered a choice of app, main, and dessert. All the food and drinks were weirdly sour and for a bill of $100 per person I expected better tasting food and drinks. The only dish that we liked was the cookie. Despite the great ambiance, I would not recommend this place. It's not worth your money.

Yelp
Beautiful vibes for outdoor dining with a view. Walked in on lunchtime on Saturday, no res but since it was still a bit chilly it wasn't packed and menus were flying all over the place (because of the wind), several tables moved indoors after testing the outdoor experience. We shared some raw seafood mini tower app, tomato salad and got 3 entrees - swordfish sandwich was on the drier side, which was to be expected... lobster roll (served cold), which is not my preference but was fine since I was craving a lobster roll (on the small side), and the clam pasta was good. We also shared a crudo which was nice but forget which one it was (came w 6 sliced pieces easy for sharing between the 3 of us).
google avatar

Alexander M.

Yelp
The view is amazing and the food is good, just overpriced. Seafood tower was the biggest disappointment. Octopus could be less chewy. Salads are creative and flavorful. Black fish was the best. I might give this place another try.

Yelp
Visiting NYC, love all other Jean-Georges restaurants we've been to in the world. Very hard to find the actual restaurant (we wandered around for some time, weirdly through another restaurant) first of all the view was W O W!! Wondered why we were walked past all the tables with an amazing view to the back of the restaurant with a partial view when the place was empty almost the entire time we were there (all the nice view tables were still empty when we left). Never felt like we were being hosted-asked if we were ready to order, no suggestions, no checking up to see if we were enjoying. The food was good, but not wow. Same with the cocktails. As I'm working this I'm realizing that my original rating of 4 was too high. 3.6 :(

Rebecca M.

Yelp
We are not usual Jean-Georges customers (read: his restaurants are just too expensive) but had heard great things about the Fulton and as we noted there were a few more affordable items on the menu figured that as seafood lovers we had to try it. Glad we did as our experience overall was fantastic -- starting with the amazing setting and vibe. The outdoor patio is the place to eat if the weather is good--it's huge yet somehow not noisy, the views are incredible, and the soundtrack of 80s pop/rock hits makes everything feel chill and fun and not at all pretentious. The food was also beyond reproach, starting with the yellowfin tuna tartare -- super fresh, atop avocado and served with a zingy yuzu vinaigrette that's a perfect complement. We shared the spaghetti vongole and fish and crisps. The spaghetti is clearly freshly made pasta, loaded with clams that are small in size but prominent in briny flavor, and in a lemony butter herb sauce that was good enough to lick from the bowl. As great fans of any pasta with shellfish, this is one of the best we've ever had. The fish and crisps is huge, easily shareable, with flounder extremely delicate and a batter that's not oily at all and much more flavorful than any fried fish batter we've had before. We regret that we were in a rush to make it to a movie nearby, as we would have enjoyed savoring the meal in the lovely setting for much longer. To that point, only one caveat: this is definitely not a place to come if you ARE looking to be in and out in an hour (we had a reservation but still took 25 min to be seated, and while service was lovely it was definitely not fast). We're excited to come back soon.

Yelp
A night to remember. We ordered the set menu, and I was consistently delighted at the quality of each of the dishes, as well as the concepts and unique combinations of flavors. We started with a salad and an octopus with burrata dish--never before have I tasted octopus so meaty. It nearly tasted like chicken! The next course was a sashimi platter, which tasted fresh and tender. There were so many main courses that I don't think I've included all of them in this review, but some I remembered were a calamari, burger, black bass, lobster noodles, salmon, and braised mushrooms. The calamari was crisp and meaty, the burger was buttery and juicy, the black bass and salmon was so tender and the sauce on top was sensational, and the lobster noodles brought me back to my childhood as they were inspired by Chinese lobster noodles. We were stuffed to the brim by dessert, but we prevailed. The apple pastry was crisp and buttery, and the raspberry brownie was layers of decadence. I'd highly recommend The Fulton for a celebration! Server was so friendly and the view of Manhattan is to die for.

Yelp
The restaurant is huge and has gorgeous views of the water. There is a huge dining patio, though it doesn't look as though they have heaters on the patio (at least not yet). Overall, the food was quite good. We ordered: - lettuce crab wraps - tuna carpaccio - shrimp cocktail - longevity noodles (lobster with egg noodles) - roasted honeynut squash The tuna carpaccio was one of the best things I ate all night - nice balance between the crispy capers, sesame oil and mustard sauce. The longevity noodles were tasty while the shrimp cocktail was pretty standard/nothing to write home about. The server highly recommended the roasted honeynut squash - so we got two of them - and the dish was pretty average. The most underwhelming part of the evening was service. The service would have been underwhelming at a 3-star restaurant, and it was definitely underwhelming at a John-Georges restaurant. Table & Being Seated: We were a party of seven, and when we arrived, the restaurant was relatively empty but they still needed time to get the table ready. When we were shown our table, it was three small cafe-style tables with only six place-settings and clearly no space for any share plates. The staff was very focused on this being the best table for us but after some discussion, they moved us to another table. Wine: We started with a bottle of Chablis and then ordered a second one. The server returned to tell us they were out of the Chablis. We then ordered a different white (which was more expensive) and then the server returned with a sommelier (or someone?) again to tell us they were out. The sommelier (who we hadn't met before) recommended a different Chablis which was even more expensive. He was surprisingly unapologetic and also didn't offer the bottle of wine at the lower price of our desired bottle of wine (which has happened at every other restaurant I've been to).

Yelp
Second Jean-George restaurant for us and it was pretty solid. This is located in the recently renovated Pier 17 with epic views of the Brooklyn Bridge. Seafood is the specialty and we started with some chilled crab lettuce cups which were amazing. For my entree I had the fried swordfish. At first I thought it was a typo, but turns our swordfish lightly battered and fried is tasty. If you haven't been down the Pier 17 and the Tin House, get down there. It's a foodie dream with lots of great options.

Yelp
Beautiful view of the river, lovely restaurant setting, very friendly staff and delicious food. Couldn't have asked for a better experience

Yelp
Had a reservation for this place a few weeks ahead and we were seated on the second floor with a beautiful view of the Brooklyn Bridge. I had their prime NY steak that came with roasted heirloom tomatoes and served with a nice kick of salsa verde and herbs. We also had their marinated chargrilled chicken that was served with sweet potatoes and had such vibrant flavors! Loved coming to this location!

Yelp
We enjoyed a lovely lunch here and enjoyed the beautiful views, attentive service, and delicious food. Originally our reservation indicated the atrium but upon seeing the nice weather we requested a change to outdoor seating, which they graciously accommodated. The views from outdoor seating was wonderful - the Brooklyn bridge and plenty of water front! We ordered the caviar egg toast, shrimp and sausage eggs Benedict, and shrimp burger with fried egg. Caviar egg toast: 4.5/5: delicious and beautifully constructed. Very pricey but I'm glad we got to try it Shrimp burger: 4.5/5: a solid burger with a delicious shrimp patty Shrimp and sausage eggs benefit; fries were great! 4/5: delicious with all the expected features and tastes of an eggs Benedict but add in a shrimp patty. Overall, food was really delicious! We found the staff to be very attentive. They checked on us regularly and answered any of our questions. I had an accident when the egg burst all over in my burger upon my first bite and without any prompting a staff member appeared when I needed an extra napkin to help clean up the egg yolk! We didn't sit inside but on my way to the bathroom I got to enjoy the dining atmosphere from the second floor atrium which offers amazing views of the bridge and water. Overall, we will definitely be back for the delicious food and superb views and great service!

Yelp
The Fulton by Jean-Georges is a classic restaurant that you have to try if you live in NYC or are visiting. Typically, reservations aren't incredibly difficult to get but I would recommend looking as soon as you pinpoint this restaurant. I came here for a work dinner, but I think this is a great spot for all settings (i.e., date night, elevated dinner with friends, work dinner). Would definitely dress a little nicer for this restaurant. Also a big plus: coat hangers around the restaurant -- I've seen very few restaurants do this but I personally love when restaurants or bars just have coat hangers across the walls. It makes life so much easier. Back to the food -- we started off with the Calamari and Mozzarella and Octopus dishes. Personally, I thought the Calamari was a little dry, but still tasted great. The Mozzarella and Octopus was interesting (but in a good way). Not sure what I was expecting but wasn't this -- tasted great, would definitely recommend trying. I ordered the Tortellini. This dish tasted great! I would say the portion size was a bit smaller compared to the other mains at the table but the flavor was great so I can't complain. Finally, we ordered the PB Smore. The ice cream that came with this was delicious. However when I bit into the smore I was not expecting the raspberry flavor. Was not a personal fan of that but my colleagues enjoyed it. Overall, the service and food was great. I would definitely come back and would recommend trying this spot out!

Yelp
Had dinner here the other day and was very impressed with the service, however the food is just okay nothing too dreamy. The restaurant has a beautiful location and is waterfront, so whatever the restaurant doesn't deliver with its food it compensates for with its location and beautiful views.

Yelp
AMBIENCE My husband and I went last night and took advantage of NY restaurant week. It was a beautiful evening (finally after a very hot and rainy summer in NYC), we were seated in the outside atrium looking at the gorgeous view. So far so good. The view is fantastic. SERVICE and FOOD We ordered classic 'light' dirty Martinis, which were not chilled enough and the taste was okish, but not great, I would have expected a 'crispier and drier taste' we asked to stay light on the dirty, but they didn't. Our server was a bit rough around the edges, we felt like he belonged in one of those Little Italy pizzerias but not a Jean George restaurant. The way he served and his mannerism were rustic! We each ordered the oysters for starter which were great although the mignonette sauce was a bit acidic, and the other sauce tasted like it had been standing out for a while, it wasn't fresh. My husband ordered the poppy seed salmon with dashi sauce which was very delicious, truly well done. I ordered the Spaghetti alle vongole, it was awful. The pasta was really overcooked, the sauce was super salty, it had too much lemon and butter, it was hard to eat. I was so disappointed. I thought at a Jean George restaurant they would know to cook pasta "al dente". We had ordered two glasses of white wine with our meal, but they arrived after our meal, as we were having ice cream. The wine we ordered was $16 a glass but when the bill came they charged us $60 for the two glasses. I don't even remember seeing a wine by the glass for $30 most were between $16-22 on the menu they gave us. Our waiter insisted this was the wine we ordered, we did not make a fuss. We were celebrating a special occasion and they did bring a chocolate cake with ice cream which was a very nice gesture which we appreciated. Overall it was a disappointing experience, I would return for the view, but I would only order a very basic dish like a burger and a glass of wine. I had been looking forward to going but it definitely did not meet expectations considering its Jean George.

Yelp
Nice location with options for inside and outside seating. Staff was courteous. Food was decent. I had the hamburger which was tasty. As a visitor to NYC I am still trying to get used to the cost of everything. I think I could only afford to live here for a week or two.

Yelp
The Fulton by Jean-Georges: A Waterfront Delight Exceptional. I visited The Fulton by Jean-Georges yesterday, and the experience was nothing short of remarkable. The food was outstanding, with the quinoa sugar snap pea salad bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors. The warm octopus with mozzarella was a delightful and unexpected combination. The ambiance is irresistibly sexy and dark--perfect for a date night. The clientele, primarily business professionals in suits, generally in their 50s or 35+. The real highlight, however, was the outside seating. Dining by the waterfront with a stunning view of the Brooklyn Bridge made the experience as good as it gets. The decor is chic yet cozy, making you feel at home while indulging in luxury. For seafood lovers, the scallops are a must-try--perfectly cooked and melt-in-your-mouth. The spaghetti alle vongole was al dente and rich with the briny sweetness of fresh clams. The Gruyère burger au jus, fish and chips, and fish tacos were also very good, showcasing the restaurant's ability to excel in both traditional and creative dishes. Whether you're a local or a visitor, The Fulton by Jean-Georges is a must-visit. It offers a high-level culinary experience with great service, delicious dishes, and a top-notch waterfront view. Five stars, without a doubt.

Yelp
What an incredible evening at The Fulton. Possibly the penultimate NY experience with a spectacular view of the Brooklyn bridge and lower Manhattan. The decor and service are impeccable. But you will need to liquidate your entire crypto wallet to fund such an experience. Start the evening with a full tin of caviar. They challenge you to douse it huge dollops of creme freche but do not be fooled. Savor every little fish egg on its own merit of taste. This will set you back several benjies. I believe we also had yellowtail sashimi which was equally delicious, yet behind the limelight of the caviar. My sea scallops were perfection, seared the way they should be, resting on a bed of baby root veggies. Various cocktails and a couple bottles of wine. I left The Fulton satisfied and happy, yet with a gaping hole in my back pocket. It was so worth it.

Yelp
I had such a lovely dinner at The Fulton. The staff was incredible, the view was amazing, and the food was superb. I had the calamari salad which was so delicious, I'd come back again just for the salad. I had the burger which was juicy and came with an onion dipping sauce which tied the burger together nicely. The highlight was the baked pumpkin dessert that was topped with coffee ice cream and pistachios which added a nice crunch. It was visually stunning, interesting, and yummy! I'd definitely return!!! Yelp
The star of the show is the gorgeous view at the base of the Brooklyn Bridge. In the evening with the skyline and bridge lit up, very few establishments have views to compete. The restaurant decor is intimate, with high ceiling over the patio area so to not impede the view. The food was good but we wanted it to be spectacular to match the views. We were a little disappointed. We wanted the seafood rice mentioned by Ina Garten (as did another diner sitting next to us) but the dish was no longer offered. We tried the seafood hotpot instead. The dish could use more seasoning and more seafood. The preparation of the seared scallop wasn't our favorite either, in a Thai broth. The service was friendly and personable. The restaurant celebrated our birthday with a delicious mini chocolate cake. We had a very nice experience at The Fulton and hope to try the seafood rice one day.

Yelp
Housed in the back section of the old South Street Seaport, this isn't the easiest restaurant to find. We were seated in the bottom level of the restaurant (pro tip - ask to be seated on the top floor, it is much nicer) which has decent views of the river. We had: - Razor Clams - tasty - Yellow Fin Tuna Tartar -very good - Head of Lettuce Salad - very good - Spaghetti ala Vongole - good - Florida Golf Shrimp - tasty Overall this was a nice meal but not especially memorable. The staff was really friendly.
