"Despite being fairly cosy (see: small) Hej in Bermondsey makes for a good stop-off spot to get a couple of hours work done. There’s a large shared table which is laptop free: which is excellent encouragement if you have work that doesn’t necessarily involve you knowing what Love Island contestant you’d hypothetically be. Otherwise there’s plenty of counter seating and some comfier sofa options, plus the coffee and cakes are good too." - Jake Missing

Excellent coffee and a nice place to hang out. The interiors are spacious and they have plenty of outside space. They are dog friendly which is a bonus for me. You'll see lots of delicious cakes and pastries displayed on the counter along with savoury bites ranging from sandwiches to bagels and filled croissants. They can also make you Eggs florentine, portobello mushrooms on toast and avocado on toast. The food is limited but what they do is tasty. they also have a salad bar at lunch. They roast beans on the premises and train baristas so expect a great cup of coffee.

A fantastic coffee experience with Benjamin, learning all about coffee - from a cherry on the a tree, to roasting and finally how to best extract with an expresso machine, plus of course lots of tastings. I can thoroughly recommend. This covered everything coffee related apart from milk art (that’s covered in a separate session). Thank you, Benjamin, for sharing your enthusiasm with us.

Lovely spot, good coffee, car crash in terms of stock management. Constantly run out of just about every item on the food menu - typically by 12:00 on Saturday and Sunday. It’s clear that the thought of ordering more food has never entered into their heads. That said, if their goal is to support other local businesses by encouraging you to find food elsewhere, they deserve 5 stars.

HEJ Coffee is my go-to spot for a fantastic coffee experience! Their Cortado coffee is absolutely superb, delivering a rich and smooth flavor that hits all the right notes. The chocolate loaf cake is a delightful treat, perfectly paired with their delicious beverages.Their decaf latte is exceptional, offering the same great taste without the caffeine.The staff at HEJ Coffee are incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests.Whether I'm looking to relax and chill or get some work done, HEJ Coffee is the perfect spot. A lovely quiet place with low background music added. Very good service with polite and helpful staff. Coffee is excellent 👌🏻 😋 Yes, I'd recommend it to others. It's also Dog friendly with free doggy biscuits and water to hand. 10/10

A really great place - popped in for lunch and ended up staying most of the afternoon! Lovely food and salad selection, good coffee , and fast wifi with loads of plugs. Staff don’t mind you plugging in and working. Great atmosphere.

I was gifted the coffee roasting experience for my birthday and After reading some recent reviews I went in a-bit hesitant as to how the day would go but I could not have been more wrong. I absolutely loved the experience! The host was just perfect. He knew his stuff and I learnt so much and walked away completely satisfied. from start to finish it was great I would highly recommend the experience for me personally it’s been my best day in london so far :)
