Hela Provisions

We used Hela Provisions for a nonprofit fundraising event and the food was delicious, fresh, and gorgeous. Our guests loved it. Working with Anna was a dream, would highly recommend!

My husband was in the hospital in Bellingham, 3 hours away from home, for 7 days. I wanted to get the nurses and staff a special, group treat. I found a basket place through Google but as we were trying to find it, I couldn't and had to call. Once on the phone she told me they are online only and recommended her competitor in Hela Provisions. We were very close to her so we popped in. She didn't really have baskets ready to go to pick from but rather items to choose then put together as a basket of your own. I thought if that's what I was going to do, why not just go to Trader Joe's and pick my own stuff from there? Well, I walked into Trader Joe's and right back out the other side. It was too overwhelming, especially considering what we were dealing with at the hospital. So I called Anna and simply asked "will you put two charcuterie boards together for 8-10 people each without any input from me for $75 a piece and have them ready by 10 am tomorrow?" She said sure and then texted me the next morning when they were ready and walked them out to my car! I can't speak for the taste, but they looked fabulous and the trays were empty within the hour! Thank you! It was a win-win!

Hela Provisions created mini-skewers as appetizers for our daughter's wedding. They were beautifully constructed and gorgeously presented on beds of flowers and herbs. The colorful combinations of fruit, cheese, meat, and vegetables were devoured with great gusto. There was a lot of competition for the last tasty bites! We also enjoyed the NA sparkling Chardonnay we purchased through Hela Provisions. It was crisp, with a nice balance of flavors. Anna was so easy to work with and she made adjustments as we changed our menu and number of guests. I whole-heartedly recommend Hela Provisions!

Lucky us to have Anna and Hela in our neighborhood. The store provides a wide variety of gourmet treats I desire and so many of those types of snacks I would prefer to munch. I am finishing a sub as I type, yum. The wine she recommended was delightful and I look forward to another glass later this evening. I can't wait to order my own charcuterie board just for me, me, me. Support this shop.

Lots of good goodies! I also like the NA booze selection. I really appreciate the Alaska canned fish and kelp options they stock. Overall kind of limited selection, and definitely a weird location for retail. Looking forward to watching this little store grow.

I asked Anna to assemble gift baskets for some people near and dear to me with just a few hints as to their likes. She delivered perfectly within my price guidelines and my recipients LOVED their gifts. I recommend Hela Provisions to all of my friends.

This is a great specialty food shop near Bellingham high school. It has items that you won't find easily and some local food as well. I highly recommend checking them out. They also offer gift baskets and can make sandwiches with notice.

This place is cool. Lots of cool gourmet treats and drinks. Cool stocking stuffer foods. Unique baskets.

If you love good edibles, wine and spirits and enjoy shopping at a local, small business in town, this is the one--an especially nice shop if you're entertaining and it's a special occasion. The owner was very helpful with questions about products. Looking forward to an upcoming wine tasting that's scheduled next week!
