The guy that works there all the time is nice and very knowledgable. Other staff not so much. Great prices on wines. Cute interior and exterior design.

Went online searching for Mezcal and Henrys popped up - took an Uber from Carlyle hotel to Henrys in Brooklyn and when we first arrived we were thrilled to see the shop ….. it’s a crazy good boutique spirits shop ….fantastic mezcal’s - a must visit if your a collector…. and the cherry on top of this experience was meeting Henry .. thank you so much Henry!!! I have nothing but great things to say about Henry's! Very prompt service when ordering, extremely helpful over the phone, and just an incredible person to do business with! Can't wait to stop in someday.

Love this place, I live nearby and I go at least once a week. Not sure why a couple of people have complained about the customer service, whoever is there has always been very helpful with me, and they know their wine really well. It is a small shop, but considering the size their selection is actually really good, and ranges in price point from pretty cheap to really high-end. The selection is eclectic, of course, because they have an emphasis on natural wine. But every bottle I've had from them was great. Also if you manage to catch the actual owner, Henry, while he's in the shop, he's super sweet and friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about wine.

For being open late on a Holiday weekend, and stocking a non-alcoholic wine when I wasn't sure anywhere else would, Henry's deserves my praise and your business!

I went here for the first time recently and asked for recommendations for red wine. On what I presume to be the (friendly) owner's suggestions, I ended up buying 2 bottles for a total of just over $50. The first bottle was very underwhelming, and the second was outright flat—tasted as if it had been oxidized or had some kind of problem. Maybe due to the fact it's kept in a clear bottle, which is not really the norm for red. I tasted both wines the following day and they were mildly better, still far from great. I returned and asked for another recommendation for white this time, and explained about the red wine I bought. This was met with a nod of the head and silence—no apologies, no commercial gesture, which I didn't particularly appreciate. Still, I went with the new recommendation ($25 I think) and thought it might be good this time. Again, very average. Needless to say I won't be returning to taste average/off wines, as recommended(!) for a high price bracket (mine were on the lower end of their range). They probably don't know how to temperature control properly here—Irving Wine has the same problem (bottles right next to the window in full summer heat, no AC?!). Go to Hana Wine, which is consistent, cheaper, and has never disappointed me.

I showed up 2 min before closing to buy a bottle of wine. They had already pulled down the grate and had zero interest in helping me. Super bummer.
