The 15 Best Vegan & Vegan-Friendly Restaurants In Atlanta

"When you want a quiet lunch in the heart of Midtown, this Pan-Asian restaurant is as chill as it gets. A small stream of people on lunch break spread out across the spacious two-level dining room, making it easier to rant about coworkers out of earshot. With so many hard-to-pass up appetizers like the crispy ginger soy kebabs and pork-flavored shumai dumplings, we just bring a laptop, make this a working lunch, and slowly make our way through multiple courses. Herban Fixe also offers two hours of free parking (just saying)." - nina reeder, demarco williams, juli horsford

We celebrated our daughter's graduation at Herban Fix in Atlanta as she is an avid Vegan. Wow, were we impressed! Herban Fix is a superb and astounding establishment serving upscale vegan dishes where vegans or those wishing to try something different can flourish. They offer an extensive menu with countless drinks, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. The staff is really kind and accommodating, attending to all of your needs and consistently checking on you to ensure a pleasurable experience. They provided outstanding and elegant service in a calm, comfortable atmosphere with a perfect dimly lit setting. I love getting the vegetable spring rolls! They were thoroughly succulent and crispy. The tasty sauce that comes with it definitely adds to the flavor profile. I also enjoyed getting the oyster mushrooms. They were fresh, warm, flavorful, and crispy. They truly mimic the texture of real meat. Adorned by a delectable sesame soy glaze, this entree will forever be one of my favorites. My all-time favorite meal from this establishment has to be the spicy ramen with soy shrimp and vegetables. It's simply unbeatable! Served warm and steamy, its flavor profile cannot be outdone. The ramen is vividly delectable and expertly seasoned with silky, thick noodles. The soy shrimp is impressively chewy and quite delicious. It has the ideal amount of spiciness without being overpowering. It also has a pleasant crunch from the fresh vegetables! If you get anything, please get the spicy ramen! I also thought the carrot cake was delicious. It had a deep, sweet flavor and was quite thick and velvety. All things considered, if you're looking for a sophisticated vegan dining experience, I highly suggest this establishment.

Not many there on the Sunday we visited. The restaurant is beautiful and the server was friendly. The food was delicious but a little splurge for what you get. It was a birthday trip for our vegan so we ended the meal with green tea cake. It takes like the tea so you gotta like that to enjoy.

Google
Food was good. And service was fast. They validated parking and that’s valid for two hours. Tried the rice noodles and asparagus and a couple of drinks. The cold press is not the greatest. But other than that it was a good experience. Ended up being $50+ per person

Came across this spot as it was around the corner from where I was staying and I'm so impressed! Everything was fully vegan and absolutely delicious. We ordered a lot of small dishes/tapa style to get a range of food and I am beyond amazed! My favorite was the scallion pancakes, I've never had anything like it, sweet and savory! The spring roll was absolutely another favorite. The staff was attentive and great as well! I'll be back! :)

Google
First. I am not a vegan, and I’m not often exposed to vegan cuisine. I ordered the Seared Pom Pom steak which seemed to be one of the house favorites. However, when I received my order the texture was almost gooey. The coating for the Pom Pom steak seems to be some kind of flower, but each bite left behind a powdery feel in my mouth. Mind you, the rest of my party’s dishes were satisfactory, so not all of the food is without merit. The venue is dated with old decor and feels very catered to a business crowd. Would not recommend for special occasions. The service was fine, not memorable. I tried to swap out my dish for something else on the menu, but they do not allow swaps or returns. The restaurant does offer validation for garage parking so that is a plus. Overall, not bad for the cuisine they offer but a forgettable experience nonetheless. Dishes listed; Rainbow fried rice, Spicy Ramen, Seared Pom Pom, and Bim Map.

Google
I am always on the hunt for great vegetarian and vegan food when I travel and Herban fix did not disappoint. The fried oyster mushrooms were excellent and the coconut soup really hit the spot on a dreary fall evening. They also have a great bar menu for some really tasty drinks. If you're looking for vegetarian and vegan, I highly recommend.

Google
Great ambiance. Absolutely beautiful restaurant. Went early afternoon it was very calm. Not a crowd at all. We ordered quickly and our meal was out within 15 minutes of ordering. Spring rolls and spinach and mushroom ravioli were the menu choices. Both were delicious ! Beetlejuice and pineapple juice where the drinks that we have very fresh. We only had to wait a little bit for our check so that we could leave we were kind of in a rush but could not quite locate our waitress we know that she was waiting on other tables but it took just a bit of time for her to get to us. Other than that she was attentive, very catering to our table, refill the waters quite a bit. Very pleasant and extremely kind. Great menu of choices!

Google
The atmosphere was so great, and the service was very attentive and professional. But the food???? AMAZING. I’ll post photos of everything we got but my personal favorites were the ravioli appetizer, the Pom Pom mushroom steak (paired with the Tempranillo wine was brilliant, btw. They should start recommending this pairing), and the green tea cake was divine. It is a bit pricey, yes, but to be fair our bill was a bit high because we had 3 courses & 3 drinks each. It was worth it for sure.

Yelp
Great food delicious taste Quiet and peaceful surroundings I had my first mock tail. It was a wonderful substitute of alcoholic drink, and it was quite tasty with blueberries. The vegan soup and my spring rolls was delicious. Something completely different than I've had before. There's no way to describe this beautiful food. It was something that I've never tasted before as a vegan for more than 10 years and yes, I would recommend this place and have to other people.

Yelp
Decor - 5/10 dated and felt like an airport lounge. Drinks: wine tasted opened for a few days 4/10. "What's up doc" "fresh" pressed juice was good but did NOT taste fresh pressed and for $9 you get 4oz 6/10. Food - appetizer: Steamed Buns we had were 7.5/10 way over priced but good. Not find dining good. Entrees - Crispy Eggplant 6/10, was not fresh, tasted frozen and deep fried. The sauce tasted ok but nothing special. The vegetables were good on it but the over course was NOT worth $17 Mom's entree: Seared Pom Pom Mushroom Steak 3/10.... Sauce/marinate was awful and the texture was chewy and neither of us liked. The fresh vegetables were the only thing good about it. Dessert: Turmeric, cinnamon cake 7.5/10. Moist tasted good, icing was lite, couldn't tell it was vegan at all.... It's cake, easy to achieve. Customer service 6/10. Was spot on for most of our time here. They dropped the ball on my mom complaining about how horrible her entree was. Didn't offer any assistance on making her dinner acceptable. Then in a dead restaurant with only 2 tables, the staff disappeared. Finally the host that seated us got us our bill. This place will be closed soon guaranteed if the food quality doesn't improve for the high prices they're charging. It was completely empty in the early afternoon, which we should have taken as a sign not to eat there.

Yelp
4.5 Stars: A Flavorful Vegan Gem in Atlanta While in Atlanta, we were looking for a spot near our hotel and walked into Herban Fix. The first surprise was the interior--unexpectedly fancy for a pan-Asian fusion vegan restaurant. Since we stepped in, the service was excellent; our server quickly seated us, guided us through the menu, and was always nearby to offer more water or dessert. The atmosphere has a somewhat "old fancy" vibe--not modern, but it's a pleasant place to enjoy a relaxed, long meal. The real highlight was the food. We were so impressed that we ended up returning a second time during our 3-day trip! The menu offers something for everyone, from crispy king oyster mushrooms to creamy curry broth and pad Thai. Nearly every dish we tried was packed with flavor, making each bite a memorable experience. Many dishes also felt like healthy options, which was a bonus. One thing to note is the portion sizes, which can be hit or miss. For some, a single $20 entrée may be enough, but others might want to add an appetizer, bringing the cost to around $30 per person for lunch, which can edge into the pricier side. All in all, if you're craving flavors from Southeast Asia and enjoy vegan cuisine, Herban Fix is an excellent choice. My Criteria: 5 stars: The best food I have ever had, or an excellent option given the price. 4 stars: Good food, a restaurant I look forward to trying again. 3 stars: Good food, a restaurant that I am indifferent to. 2 stars: Below average experience, will not go again. 1 star: This restaurant should be closed.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing meal! I highly recommend the crispy eggplant. It was incredible and unlike any other eggplant I've had. The service was very fast and our server was so sweet. And the atmosphere was open, clean, and not loud which was much appreciated. I highly recommend Herban Fix!

Yelp
We absolutely loved this restaurant. We are from out of town and dined here twice. It is a vegan pan-Asian fusion restaurant that has a lot of gluten free options, which excited my heart. THE FOOD: Crispy King Oyster Mushroom glazed w. Sesame Soy au Jus: - This dish was absolutely amazing. It was a bit on the smaller side (portion wise) but the flavour composition was out of this world. I didn't realize this dish was fried when I ordered it but it was a nice treat, since it is both gluten and dairy free. Taro Tofu, Vegetables, Mushrooms 8 glass Noodles in Hot Pot: - This dish was fantastic! It is a really big portion of hot pot and it is served in a hot pot and brought out with a soup bowl and rice to add into the broth. The broth was a little spicy and the mixed vegetables were delicious. I loved the tofu and taro chunks. The tarp was creamy and the perfect addition to this meal. Stir-Fry Rice Vermicelli w. Mushrooms & Vegetables: - my fiancé ordered this and really liked it. The portion is a good size and the dish tasted really good. Pad Thai w. Tofu, Vegetables & Peanuts: - The pad Thai was really good. I came with a sweet sour sauce that paired perfectly with the dish. The peanuts added the perfect amount of crunch and the dish was filling. DESSERT: This restaurant had a lot of dessert options but only a few that are both gluten and dairy free. The gf options include a rich torte and vegan ice cream. We opted for the vegan chocolate ice cream with chocolate fudge sauce and coffee flavouring. Coffee Chocolate Fudge Ice Cream: This was one of the best vegan ice creams I have ever tried. The chocolate flavour was really rich and not watered down like most. It was decadent and the chocolate ribbons provided the perfect amount of fudge goodness. I found the coffee flavour to be mild, which was an added bonus since I don't really enjoy coffee. Would We Return? Absolutely!

Yelp
They have so many different options here. Everything is delicious. The curry is my go-to dish and the crab cakes are amazing. Don't forget the desserts! Great service and there's validated parking for 2 hours.

Yelp
Lovely food in an elevated environment! I loved the variety on the menu and we had excellent service! Cocktails were nice too though I do think they could elevate the experience with garnish or a rim! They validate parking for 2 hours there are lots of signs for where to park. When I went the restaurant was quite quiet I hope on the weekend they are more lively!

Yelp
Delicious food, and nicely fancy for the price. The sauces were really good, and they were very helpful about the food allergies in our party. I wish less of the foods were fake meat based. The service was very attentive and helpful, and there's parking which is covered for 2hrs. The room was a little industrial and empty, which I didn't like all that much, but it was cool to see the kitchen. The room was very quiet, which was nice great to have a conversation.

Yelp
This is the place to go, a hidden gem, and you don't have to be a vegan to enjoy all the delicious food. Parking, they do validate free parking for up to two hours at the Reynolds Condo adjacent to the restaurant, which is a plus! I highly recommend the Sunday brunch, there is literally a massive buffet with all you can eat. I've never seen so many items (Asian fusion). The drinks were on point and the dessert was out of this world. The staff was so helpful and attentive. Great overall and excellent overall experience. Would definitely go again!

Yelp
We went to Herban Fix - Vegan Kitchen for dinner. Our waiter was very nice. For appetizer, we ordered Asian glutinous rice fused w. shiitake mushroom, taro & peanuts. It tasted like meatloaf but without meat. Very delicious! For dinner, we ordered Crispy eggplant topped w. vegetable chutney & Bibimbap w. vegetables, gochujang, nori & sesame seeds. We loved them. I loved Crispy eggplant. The food were amazing! One of our favorites restaurants in Atlanta.

Yelp
Vegan, heavily gluten-free friendly restaurant that is a great stop before a Fox Theatre event. I came here with a friend for dinner before a concert at Fox Theatre. At about 6pm on a Friday, they were fairly empty. By the time we left around 7 though they were picking up. The menu is marked with many gluten-free friendly options. I came to Yelp to see some pictures of the plates before ordering. Glad I did! Not all dishes are sized to stand alone. Other dishes visually look much better than others. I chose the Bibimbap. It was very salty but lots of flavors. I was very hungry so I ate it all but if you get an appetizer, you could share the bibimbap. My friend ordered the Crispy Sushi Roll. It is not gluten-free because it is a deep fried roll. It is called "rolls" but is actually 1 roll. She also got the ginger soy chicken kebabs. She really liked the kebabs. It comes with 2 skewers, so good for a small sharing app. For dessert, the waiter brought over a platter to show the many cake options. I love this approach! Visually the cakes looked great. There was 1 gluten-free option: a flourless chocolate torte. Otherwise they have almond milk ice cream. We got the torte and vanilla ice cream. The torte was very chocolatey but the ice cream balanced it very nicely. I recommend this combo. It was great to share too. Bathroom is one floor up but there is an elevator. Next time: I'll try a noodle dish.

Yelp
A surprising find in a city where searches for "vegan food" yield lots of "junk food" vegan food. Herban Fix is not that! It is delicious, well curated food that makes you yearn for your next visit so you can try out all their items! So many things on the menu interested us, that we ordered a lot of food knowing we'd take some home for leftovers. We started out with the flavorful Jalapeño Margarita and Maple Old Fashioned. Both were delicious. The items on the menu are noted as gluten free, as all restaurants should do. We ordered the Agave Shrimp as a starter, which was breaded with gluten free breading. It was a nice combination of flavors and textures. We also got the crispy oyster mushrooms and seared Pom Pom (which was supposed to be like a steak). Both were good, but the steak-like item would probably be more appealing to a non-vegan. We also got the Truffle Wild Rice which we had a couple days later and it was outstanding. For dessert: the chocolate ganache "pie" with a side of mocha fudge ice cream. Both were decadent and rounded out the meal perfectly. Our server, Annie was top rate and efficient and made sure at the beginning of the meal that our parking was validated so no one forgot. This will be a must visit when I'm in the Atlanta area. The next table over was made up of four non-plant based eaters who talked about how they'd been before and loved to visit. So, this will be a place I take my non-vegan friends in the future, it's that good!

Yelp
I like what this restaurant is doing. Kudos to them! We went here on Valentine's Day as I've decided to give up meat. We were seated quickly and server came over right away. He was so friendly and helped with menu choices. I got the Pom Pom mushroom steak. It was OK but all I could taste was the overwhelming sesame/soy sauce under it.. probably lots of sodium I'm assuming. Price point for this I thought was a bit high considering the portion and the fact it's just mushrooms. My bf got the ramen but it was flavorless unfortunately ..not very good at all. Cute restaurant overall and they gave me a pink rose at the end which I thought was a very nice touch! The rose lasted like a month too.. impressive :)

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch on Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was basically empty this time of day so service was prompt. The menu consists of vegetarian/vegan Thai inspired dishes that are rich in flavor and taste. I am typically a meat eater but I was able to easily find dishes that I would like. The dessert offerings are quite appetizing in appearance and taste. The layout of the restaurant is intimate and nicely decorated, with two levels. The restaurant validates parking in the adjacent parking garage for 2 hrs.

Yelp
A distinctively upscale restaurant. In addition to being all vegan, the cuisine is broadly East Asian, with Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, and probably other cultures represented on the menu. It seemed like a reservations kind of place, but during the off hour in which I stopped by, it had several people and one full upstairs party room, but it was no trouble to get a table. Everything I ordered was well executed. Crispy pan-fried dumplings were balanced by soft kimchi. A Thai iced tea wasn't as creamy as such beverages sometimes are (sometimes they're too much so), but delivered on taste. My pho was aromatic and had a roasted, savory quality. I did come in with top notch expectations though, and nothing here blew me away so much that I'd have to come back tomorrow. The dumplings were described to me as spicy but weren't, the pho could have used a bit more on vegetables or garnishes, and I wasn't sold enough to try a desert. I could say of some vegetarian restaurants I've tried in the Atlanta suburbs that they were truly great. This was more the sort of event restaurant you'd bring people for a special dinner, and given the wide menu a good place to take someone who isn't sold on vegan cuisine.

Yelp
Fine dining for Vegan. Never had a bad meal. Portions can be small depending on what you are ordering.

Yelp
i miss the price and selection in the vegan brunch buffet! i am updating this review to 4 stars because half the menu items are 3 stars and the other half is 4 stars but service is generally good and the food is consistent. for the price of the food, the portions at herbal fix fits "fine dining" but the food quality does not reflect the cost of fine dining. i'd rate it "good" for a normal restaurant but they do not position themselves as a normal restaurant with bourgeois prices. i do not recommend the shumai, it tastes like a bland fried rice put into wonton skin. the pom pom mushroom is also not a highlight for me over the years although it is a favorite for a lot of people. i do consistently enjoy the hotpot when i come! i also want to note that herban fix has many solo guests so don't be shy to eat alone here.

Yelp
Wow is the first word that comes to mind. Whether you eat meat or not, you will love the food at Herban Fix! You can park for FREE in spots 1-53 in the garage on Renaissance (i think that's the street). Inside, the restaurant has two levels. The bathrooms and some banquet style/large party tables are upstairs. The restaurant was quiet and dimly lit, and everyone seemed to be having a nice time. Overall, the place could use a bit of a refresh--some seats were a bit tattered and their were a couple holes in the wall. For an appetizer, we ordered the soy chicken skewers. AMAZING flavors! There were only two per serving. Also, our waiter wasn't the most pleasant or welcoming. For the entrees, i ordered the Pom Pom steak, which came with some sort of steamed greens, a delicious broth, and brown rice. Delicious! I don't know how to describe it, but it definitely wasn't tender like a steak. My friend ordered the truffle wild rice with mushrooms, which I enjoyed slightly more than the steak. For dessert, i ordered the chocolate raspberry mousse cake and my friend ordered the caramel cake. Both were delicious, but slightly dry. Again, i preferred her cake to mine--hers was also 3 layers. All of that was about 100 dollars before tip, which I felt was reasonable. I will be back again and again and again. Try it out, you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Iwalked to this is a fine dining vegan restaurant from my hotel on my first night in Oakland. When I arrived around 8 pm, the restaurant was pretty empty with only 2 other tables filled. The service was very friendly and mostly prompt. I had the lemongrass consommé to start. It was basic looking, but the flavors were great. The broth was really well prepared but the dumplings were an odd texture. The dough seemed a little raw. Then, I followed up with the steamed buns with duck. These two tiny buns were the highlight of my meal. The flavors were pretty solid in everything that I ate, but the servings were so small that I had to order more food even though I hadn't budgeted to spend so much. I added the pom pom mushroom steak, made from lion's mane mushrooms. It came with a side of mixed rices (white, brown, and red) and bak choy. The texture was really great, and the flavor was also pretty magical but also a bit too salty. The steak by itself didn't have much salt, so you needed the sauce, but I wish it came on the side so you could moderate how much you were adding to it. The mushroom steak tower (and the bak choy) were both covered in and swimming in this sauce. It was tasty, but I could feel my lips starting to pucker from the saltiness. Regardless, I was hungry and finished all of my food. I spent just under $70 on these three items and that was much more than I budgeted for the meal, but because of the portion size, you really need to order this much food to make a meal. The decor inside is very posh. There was an empty bar along the front of the restaurant that looked like it might be interesting on a weekend. High ceilings and a deep orange color scheme made for a nice ambiance. There is additional seating upstairs in a balcony area. This is also where the bathrooms are. If you have mobility issues, this presents a problem since you have to climb a flight of stairs to go to the bathroom. There is also an outside patio in front with seating, but when I arrived, it looked very closed. I read that they validate parking for 2 hours in the lot under the building. I was deciding between 3 and 4 stars and went with 3 because the food was pretty good but not great. The quality of the ingredients is really good so I understand why the prices are so high. I like this place but I don't think I'll become a regular here due to the high price of food and the small portions. I would come here for special occasions only.
google avatar

Victoria L.

Yelp
HOW did they make duck buns without duck? The flavor and texture were SPOT ON. We started with this plate and I was immediately blown away. They must use magic, it's the only way. Everything we had was fantastic. The "fish" was really interesting and unique. The curry was one of the best I've had (no surprise given how we started). Key lime pie was also incredible. Expensive place but worth it for the flavor journey. Great for all diets and preferences! Definitely recommend for a special occasion. Beautiful decor too. Free parking in the garage.

Yelp
So happy to have come across this gem! I actually had reservations at another vegan restaurant but due to scheduling conflicts I had to cancel and was looking for another option close by. Clearly it was fate because as soon as I saw the menu I wanted to dine here instead anyways. They offer a wide array of asian dishes with so many interesting options that all looked great, it was hard to choose! I ended up going with the crispy duck bao buns, the ja jiang buckwheat noodles, and the coffee cake, all delicious, 10/10 would recommend! I'm sad I don't live here as I would love to try everything on the menu. Great service as well.

Yelp
I. LOVE. THIS. PLACE. Herban fix ROCKS! I went on a Saturday night, and the service was top notch. We were waited on very quickly, and the owners were actually the ones waiting on us. They were kind and helpful in deciding our food choices. The food came out very fast, and it was delicious. We had a couple options (bibimbap and ramen), and both things were pretty good. We also had the Thai tea, and it was super yummy! Because we aren't big dessert people, the Thai iced tea was enough to give us a sweets fix post-dinner.

Emily H.

Yelp
This is one of the best vegan restaurants in Atlanta. We have had countless meals there, and I always look forward to the next one! It is a gem of the city!

Naomi G.

Yelp
I can't fathom how this place has managed to scrape together anything above 2 stars. It's hands down the most appalling vegan food I've ever had the misfortune of tasting. I was assured over the phone that it would cost $30 per person, but when the bill arrived, it had ballooned to a staggering $38 per person, and that's before taxes! The food was a complete disaster. It was served cold, drenched in oil, and utterly devoid of any creativity or flavor. The so-called 'vegan sushi' was nothing more than a sad lump of rice haphazardly wrapped in nori and then deep-fried into oblivion. That's it--no innovation, no thought, just greasy, bland mush. And it didn't stop there. Nearly everything on the menu was either encased in a soggy, old flour batter or floating in an unappetizing pool of oil. The desserts? Don't even get me started. I was presented with a tiny cup filled with what I can only describe as watered-down coffee syrup, topped with a pathetic dollop of something that vaguely resembled whipped cream. They had the audacity to call this tiramisu? It was more like an insult to every vegan dish ever created. This wasn't just a bad meal--it was a total affront to vegan cuisine. It felt like the chef gave up before they even started, slapping together whatever they could find with zero regard for taste, presentation, or customer experience. Save your money and your taste buds--this place is a culinary catastrophe.

Zaire L.

Yelp
This was a really nice place! Parking is free for 2 hours, very nice and upscale and it was quiet when I went. Service was very friendly as well. I didn't love the sauce for the scallion pancake, and my chicken was a bit salty, but I'd still come back to try to other vegan options. Didn't disappoint at all.
google avatar

Krista G.

Yelp
Truffle- taste was good! First bites were the best. A little on the bland side for a main course. Reminded me of a mushroom fried rice. With all of the other delicious looking items on the menu, I probably wouldn't order again. Hot pot- delicious broth. Being vegan, many soup broths are bland. This was not. Full of flavor. Was not prepared for the spice, so know that it is spicy. Service: attentive. Quick to refill waters. They box up your food for you which is always a nice touch.

Yelp
Great vegan restaurant with Asian flavors. Went for a team dinner while visiting for a conference. Dishes were flavorful, diverse and addressed multiple dietary needs of the team Vegan, and gluten free. We ordered a variety of dishes. Pan fried scallion pancakes- amazing Glutinous Rice Pom Pom Mushroom Steak Pan Seared Soy Fish Sweet Pea Ravioli In Curry Jus W. Leeks & Assorted Mushrooms The soy fish was ok. The broth it was simmered in was amazing. I should have ordered one of the mushroom dishes since I am not a huge fan of fake meat. It was good just not my fav and I had FOMO after tasting some of the other entrees. Would definitely recommend. I am far from a vegan but enjoyed the meal immensely. They have a delicate hand with the broths/sauces which were all amazing and inventive menu items.

Yelp
I started my meal with the wrapped vegetable appetizer. This was absolutely delicious! The gently cooked veggies had a delightful sauce and then heaped onto lettuce for wrapping. Sorry, it was all gone before I realized that I didn't snap a picture...

Yelp
Man o man... the ambiance is beautiful. Came here for Sunday brunch buffet and the food is amazing. Everything is vegan and they serve soup on Sunday with the buffet. The jalapeño margarita was delicious. The dumplings and veggie sushi were my favorite. The server was very nice and kept giving us new plates to grab more food. Really friendly! They will take care of your parking for two hours and park at the Reynolds towers. Would love to come back for dinner

Yelp
Very, very classy place with wonderful food presentations. Only complaint is that entrees are overpriced, ranging from $21 to $26 for dinner. Staff was lovely.

Yelp
My daughter and were briefly in Atlanta for a day to check out the aquarium. The South as a whole is wildly famous or it's fat full, meat heavy cuisine, which in and of itself is not a bad thing. I like to have some meat every once and a while. My daughter on the other hand is full vegan. I stumbled across this place searching on Yelp for vegan restaurants and it was right down the street from our hotel. Let me tell you.... we were utterly blown the way! The ambiance was so warm and welcoming. Without a reservation, the host welcomed us into what appeared to be a buffet Sunday. I am not a fan of buffet.... until I came here. Each dish was uniquely prepared with such care not just thrown together. It's so hard to find a vegan restaurant that has tasty food. One that doesn't serve tasteless tofu, salad thrown together or unimagined food. This place, from the drink choices to the menu really hit the mark. Well done! Whether you're vegan or not I highly advise you make time to stop by. It'll be on my list next time I'm in Atlanta.

Yelp
The ambiance was really nice. The server was great and gave us so many recommendations. I really enjoyed the food. The flavors were very tasty. I'm not a fan of curry but the pan seared scallion was amazing.

Yelp
We were visiting Atlanta and saw this semi-upscale veg friendly spot. We were not disappointed! My father in law who is anti-vegan loves it as well. The scallion pancakes are a must! Curried noodles also very flavorful and yummy. Duck bao buns super light and yum. The Pom Pom was amazing! Definitely on the pricey side but worth trying. I didn't care much for the two rice dishes we got but overall everything was delicious!

Yelp
Rarely can I classify a meal as true perfection, but my recent dining experience at Herban Fix is pretty close to it. This place is doing elevated vegan cuisine pretty much perfectly. The decor is understatedly elegant, the front of house staff impeccably polite and knowledgeable, and the menu beautifully curated. As we were only going to be able to dine once before returning home from Atlanta, we opted to try a variety of dishes. Here they are: -Pan seared dumplings with kimchi: excellent texture, filled with beautifully seasoned veggies. The kimchi was glorious. The dipping sauce a little salty, but truly not even needed because the dumplings themselves were so flavorful. -Crispy eggplant with vegetable chutney: breaded and fried eggplant with a sweet and sour veggie chutney, I mean, what else could a girl want? -Soy fish with kale and curry laksa: yum yum yum - the texture of the fish was substantive, and the nori coating added a briny flavor. And the curry - muah! -Pom pom mushroom steak: meaty texture, complex umami flavors. Baby bok choy was the perfect accompaniment. My only regret is that we didn't have room (or finances) to order more. The pricing is on par with other higher end restaurants, and for the quality and experience, totally worth it. Definitely on my list of places to which I need to return if I'm back in Atlanta (and you should too).

Yelp
First time going for lunch on a Friday. No wait. Great service and delicious food. I will come again and again to try the whole menu, excited to find my new work lunch spot!

Yelp
We arrived at 11:35am, a few minutes after their posted opening time, and the front door was still locked. We found our way in through the open patio door just to the side of the main door not sure if that was the door we were actually supposed to use. The host quickly saw us and let us know they opened at 11:30 and we explained it was already after that time. Weird. He seemed pretty frazzled and obviously running behind. He asked us to give him a moment so we sat in the host area while he finished his opening tasks. We were seated and quickly visited by our waitress who brought water over to the table. We ordered the ravioli, vermicelli stir-fry, and the truffle mushroom dish. The ravioli dish came out first, the curry sauce was very good but the ravioli itself was lackluster. Shortly after our dishes arrived. The vermicelli stir-fry says it's vermicelli and vegetables on the menu and it was but it was basically a bag of slaw with mostly cabbage, a little carrot, onion, and maybe some bean sprouts added. It looked like a mushroom or 2 had also been tossed in. No broccoli, no bell pepper, nothing really that couldn't be found in a bag of slaw mix. The flavor was slightly sweet but mostly disappointingly flat. The truffle mushroom dish had was almost inedible with the amount of truffle oil it was doused in. After picking out all the mushroom's and eating them I left the oil saturated rice sitting in the bowl with about 1/4 inch of oil at the bottom. I wish I had taken a photo when I stopped trying to bother eating this. The taste of the oil and salt from the truffle mushroom dish lingered in my mouth afterwards and I was still hungry once we left since I had to stop eating from not being able to stomach any more of the taste. Such a waste of money. The waitress was polite and helpful with questions but we wouldn't return here and waste more money on the food. Not sure how they have such good reviews.

Yelp
Let me start by saying I am not a Vegan or vegetarian, but I am part asian and my friend that came with me is a vegetarian. The service was amazing from the host to the waitress. The waitress was the star of the show. She was attentive to every SINGLE table in this restaurant and was even cleaning plates from the kitchen to make sure they were up to her standard. She is the true backbone of this establishment. The highlight was the crispy silken tofu dish and the crispy oyster mushrooms. Overall, I did want more variety in terms of flavor. The sauces tended to be on the sweeter side. I would love to see more acid and spice in the dishes. There are now vegan fish sauces for umami flavor and I think they should be utilized in the food. Overall, I want to try more of the menu, but that service that was provided was phenomenal.

Yelp
The soy chicken kabob tasted more like pork than chicken but it tasted delicious and was paired well with a spritely side salad. The Truffle rice does not come with truffle but rather truffle oil. I thought this was a little weird, as I would not expect olive oil if I perhaps order to appetizer of olives. So maybe they could change that on the menu. But the waiter did a good job of giving me a heads up on that regard.

Yelp
Exceptional meal! Highly recommend the pan seared soy fish! ‍ very fast service, they didn't miss a beat! Easy five stars. I have never had anything like this, and it was very flavorful. Clean dining area, loved the live plants! Moderately priced, but worth it!

Yelp
I'd had this restaurant saved for a while and we finally had a chance to go! Super chill vibe. The restaurant is pretty quiet, jazz music playing in the background. Victoria was our waitress and she was amazing!! Knew the menu like the back of her hand. She recommended the soy fish just as my fiancé did. Her suggestion is what made me get it, sorry babes. But the way she described it had me all in!! Lol. Pan seared soy fish w. organic kale simmered in curry laksa. So soo flavorful. The texture was perfect and it really did taste like fish! My first "seafood" dish since going plant based and I was impressed!! The kale was really tasty too. Had a great crunch to it and the perfect amount of tenderness. The curry sauce was delish. So tasty that I could have used a little more with the rice. You ever had a dish that you appreciated so much that every bite was followed by a happy dance or a comment about how good it was. This is that dish!! Seared pom pom mushroom steak with assorted vegetables. As babes described, it's both crunchy and chewy. No clue that was a thing but when I tasted it, that's exactly what it was. It was in this broth that really captures the spices. The mushroom steak had a sweet flavor to it that I couldn't quite pinpoint. The bok choy paired well with it; the crunch was perfection and the bitterness was needed with the sweetness of the mushroom. There's a parking garage attached to the building. We got a spot right up front and walked around the corner to the entrance.

Yelp
I'm going to get right to it because there's little to applaud here. As someone who has eaten at vegan dining establishments across the country since 2016 I feel I have a great reference base to pull from and this was down right disappointing. The props: of which there are few 1. Lots of gluten free options 2. They answer the phone right away and are happy to answer questions 3. They will validate your parking so parking in the garage is free 4. They greeted my table quickly and were familiar with the menu 5. The flavor of the lemongrass tofu was decent. Not as good as many but edible. Then it all falls apart Cons: 1. patio is dissolved and dirty and this is the first thing you see when you arrive. It almost gives this place has been abandoned vibes 2. My server had a medical condition that was hard to view in a restaurant setting. This is not meant to be insensitive and as a medical professional (pharmacist) I am sensitive to these conditions. That said, for those of us with a weak stomach ( I'm not a nurse after all) it's not something I expect to see while I am trying to dine. Very nice person however so I tried to just literally look past it. 3. The water (as is all the water so far in ATL) tasted like mildew. Full disclosure I am extremely sensitive to the taste however it's not acceptable in a fine dining restraint. Get a better filter or serve bottled. 4. The spicy tofu soup was so oily I pushed it away after the first bite. It actually had separated oil on the top of the broth. Completely in edible. I sent it back immediatly. Sorry no photo, I was too distracted by the inability to eat it. 5. The lemon grass tofu portion size was small for the price and could have had much more veggie variety as well. 6. My veggies on the lemon grass tofu were cold as if it was played prior to the friend tofu. 7. Wine selection is lacking so you can't even drown your sorrows in your alcohol. Sadly I won't be back and can't recommend Herban fix! WOW what a disappointment! Go to Planta and safe to self the trouble! Your Welcome!

Yelp
My husband and I love this restaurant. It has delicious options and though we are not vegan, we absolutely love the gourmet selections. I can recommend the scallion pancakes very highly. The chefs are well trained and the service is impeccable! Even if you are not vegetarian or vegan please try this restaurant!

Yelp
Holy cow! That was the best meal I've had in a while. Next time I'll order the exact same order Mixed greens with ginger vinaigrette (it actually didn't need to be so sweet) Lemongrass Tofu with side of avocado and olive oil La Crema Pinot noir I'm sorry I have to return home

Yelp
This place was just OK. For the price point, I honestly was expecting so much more flavor, depth, and attention to detail. I ordered the soy fish and my partner got the mushroom dish. My dish was not properly seasoned, and it was very dry and it seem like they just put the soy fish on the pan and fried it without adding any seasoning to it and only added the sauce on top. This dish was over $20 and I do not think it was worth it at all. Our tab was $100 for one appetizer and two meals, lol and yes this place is all VEGAN! The ambiance was nice for a date night though and that is what I will say.

Yelp
Soooooooodisappointed with my dining experience at Herban Fix. I have been hearing about and planning to visit Herban Fix since I moved to Atlanta in 2019, but it was never a good time to visit until last weekend. I had heard so many good things about this place, and all of that was flushed down the toilet by my actual experience dining there. The food is NOT great and it is egregiously overpriced. The vegetable spring rolls were extremely oily and tasteless - the springs rolls from Trader Joe's frozen section is light years better! The jalepeno margarita was extremely tart and unenjoyable - wish I stuck with water. The fried rice was literally disgusting. I took two terrible bites and even had my partner taste and the consensus was, "this is disgusting". How an establishment like this messes up so horribly on vegetable fried rice, I'll never understand. I love cranberries and cashews in savory dishes, so it was NOT that, I was actually looking forward to the combination. One of the worst parts of my dining experience there was the fact that I was forced to pay $27 for fried rice that was inedible and wouldn't be taken off of my bill. That is HORRIBLE SERVICE. I was told this is a "family business" and they don't condone wasting food. Well guess what? Neither do I! However, I am opposed to force feeding myself disgusting food, regardless of how expensive it is! This is my lasting impression of Herban Fix and I'll be sure to spread the word.

Yelp
Perhaps the best thing we ate while in Atlanta & the crazy thing is we absolutely stumbled upon this restaurant w/o any prior research. The entire menu is vegan so it was perfect for my gf. The service was spectacular and the ambiance was perfect. The prices weren't cheap but at the same time reasonable. We loved this place and will definitely go back whenever we return to Atlanta.

Yelp
I love this place. Stumbled upon it when we went to the Shaky Knees Festival. It has a very classy ambience and amazing food! Pricing is also not bad. I've visited a couple of times and all three times, I didn't drive there so I'm not really sure what the parking situation is like. But it's right in the heart of Atlanta/Midtownish area. Very close to Central Park and Marta station. Service has always been great and the food comes out in good time. Reservations are not required. They have seating that can also fit large parties of people. The restrooms are on the top floor and are very clean. Highly recommend.

Yelp
5 stars for an outstanding Vegan spot. My sister and her boyfriend were visiting town and wanted to go to a great Vegan spot after spending time at the Coca Cola Museum. After looking through the various options, I noticed that Herban Kitchen, located on Peachtree near the Emory Hospital, has good reviews and was nearby. After parking in the Emory Hospital Parking Garage (only $3 for the standard lunch amount of time) and walking about a block, we found a small glass door and headed inside. What we found inside was a very classy and modern interior. Some of the other Vegan options we had tried were either "trendy" or "cheap", so it was nice to go somewhere that actually felt like a real downtown restaurant. The server sat me (my sister and her boyfriend actually arrived a couple minutes after) down at a table and handed me the menu. I did not know much about Vegan food, so I went through Yelp and tried to figure out what to order. What I came upon was the steamed "duck" buns and the pom pom mushroom "steak." My sister decided to order the "steak" as well while her boyfriend decided to order the "fish." The food came out in relatively short order (something that is important for lunch during a workday) and all tasted very delicious. The steamed buns, while only 2 of them (which makes for a weird setup for 3 people and probably should be disclosed on the menu in advance) was really solid bao. My pom pom mushroom tasted just like a steak and had a quite amazing flavor. We finished our food so quick that we decided to try out a couple desserts (which were presented on a little tray) to finish the meal, and all of the options we tried were pretty great. Overall, Herban Kitchen provided us with a solid upscale vegan experience that was tasty and did not break the bank in terms of price. I would definitely recommend that any of the vegan-inclined check this spot out while visiting the downtown Atlanta area.

Yelp
wow, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever been apart of. my friend and I came here for dinner; we were so excited to try a bunch of their items. We got the steamed buns, scallion pancakes, stir fry chicken, and bibimbap. The food was okay-- the scallion pancake was thick had random vegetables in it. The buns and stir fry chicken both were about a 6/10. But the bibimbap was cold, the rice wasn't crispy at the bottom, and the rice was mushy. We had only taken one bite of the bibimbap before asking our server to remove it from the table and our bill. He and the manager proceeded to gaslight us and tell us that it was our problem, not their dish. The rest of our dinner the workers stood in the corner and talked about us. When our bill arrived, it was still on therr. We had to ask again for it to be removed. Would NOT recommend this place to anyone.
