4.5 Stars: A Flavorful Vegan Gem in Atlanta
While in Atlanta, we were looking for a spot near our hotel and walked into Herban Fix. The first surprise was the interior--unexpectedly fancy for a pan-Asian fusion vegan restaurant. Since we stepped in, the service was excellent; our server quickly seated us, guided us through the menu, and was always nearby to offer more water or dessert.
The atmosphere has a somewhat "old fancy" vibe--not modern, but it's a pleasant place to enjoy a relaxed, long meal.
The real highlight was the food. We were so impressed that we ended up returning a second time during our 3-day trip! The menu offers something for everyone, from crispy king oyster mushrooms to creamy curry broth and pad Thai. Nearly every dish we tried was packed with flavor, making each bite a memorable experience. Many dishes also felt like healthy options, which was a bonus.
One thing to note is the portion sizes, which can be hit or miss. For some, a single $20 entrée may be enough, but others might want to add an appetizer, bringing the cost to around $30 per person for lunch, which can edge into the pricier side.
All in all, if you're craving flavors from Southeast Asia and enjoy vegan cuisine, Herban Fix is an excellent choice.
