Here Fishy Fishy - Review - Koreatown - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"We’ve whispered this into a koi pond before, but it also happens to be the name of a Koreatown sushi spot where you can eat as many rolls as you want in 90 minutes. Lunch and late-night (after 10pm) meals are $40 per person, while the all-day price is $55. There’s a lot to choose from, including spicy tuna crispy rice, karaage, bacon scallop skewers, plus an overwhelming two-page roll section with dragon rolls and over-the-top ones like the Crazy Roll with five types of fish, spicy crab, jalapeño, and sriracha. There’s also a small list of one-per-person specials like tori, uni, abalone, and salmon roe." - Cathy Park

Oh my God this place is so amazing. My friend cheated me out to lunch here. The prices are decent, but the food is just absolutely out of this world. The sushi melts in your mouth. Every single piece you put in just melt like butter. My favorite was the abalone and I yuzu yellowtail and garlic, bluefin tuna. We got the premium all you can eat, and they come out with one piece of almost everything on the menu. The aesthetic of the food was beautiful. The service was awesome. They kept coming to check on you and making sure everything was OK. The vibes of the place is Pretty cool and the ambience is very nice and modern. I highly recommend this place for all you can eat sushi that is premium sushi.

One of the best AYCE buffets. Great fish selection. Premium sushi are interesting and worth trying, but not having those is not a deal breaker either. Sweet shrimp definitely should be skipped altogether, although it might be a personal preference.

IG/TT @eatwkris @herefishyfishy_wilshire is probably the best all you can eat sushi spot I’ve been to in a while in Los Angeles. They have premium fish items like uni, toro, and sweet shrimp. I also really like that they give you the option to get half portion sized rolls so you can try more variety without getting too full. They don’t load up on the rice here so it feels like a more premium spot even though it’s AYCE. I recommend coming here during lunch or late night. I will say the dinner price is a little steep but it’s a very trendy spot great for dates! $39.99 LUNCH 11AM-3PM $39.99 LATE NIGHT 10PM-1AM $54.99 DINNER 3PM-9PM Free parking lot with validation 📍Here Fishy Fishy Wilshire 3785 Wilshire Blvd, Ste 107CD, Los Angeles, CA 90010

The best all you can eat sushi I have been to in my life! And I have been to hundreds of sushi places. The price is great for the quality and quantity you get. Service was great! We will be back no question!

Google
Got the AYCE lunch special that was $40 and thought it was pretty solid for AYCE. There’s a large selection of food even for the $40 option and they give generous meat portions with their nigiri 🍣 They were a little heavy handed with sauces but that’s ok it was still good. My favorite was the baked lobster roll 🦞🍱 The service was very attentive and we were always able to flag someone down right away! At the end they gave us a matcha ice cream scoop (you pick your flavor) which was a nice way to end the meal. They validate at the adjacent parking structure for 2 hours which is more than enough for a 90 minute AYCE just make sure to have your license plate number. Overall I’d come back again especially with friends 😊

Google
The eat all you can sushi was good at 55 usd on a weekend. The specials were worth it. Staff were attentive to guests.

Gray Murphy

Google
The service at the place is impeccable. The staff are so chill and the food comes out in seconds if you sit at the sushi bar! The AYCE deal is pretty bomb. Great value. I’d give the rolls and nigiri a 9/10. Orange Salmon was my favorite dish. Personally I thought too many of the fish menu items were torched, giving it an unpleasant smoky flavor and that scent also lingered in the restaurant. But my friends didn’t mind it. If you know what you’re doing here and know exactly how to order you can have a 10/10 experience.

Google
This place was amazing! We did the all you can eat for $55 each. I love how their nigiri had less rice and more fish! Our over all favorite was definitely the salmon nigiri. It melted in your mouth and we kept ordering more and more of that one. I am not joking when I tell you that our guests next to us must be regulars because they ordered a tray full of ONLY salmon nigiri (it had to have been at least 50 pieces!) The maki rolls were also good but we kept going back to the salmon nigiri. For the maki rolls when you do an «all you can eat» you can order half a roll. We didn’t know this and missed out on trying different types or rolls🥲 Definitely recommend eating here! The fish was awesome!

Yelp
Growing up with restaurant-grade sushi readily available, I rarely ever crave sushi. While visiting here to eat sushi with a friend, I was prepared to order a simple roll to snack on and chat. Thankfully, neither my friend and I were in the mood to stuff ourselves with the AYCE option - which was very tempting... after all, we've both heard great things about Here Fishy Fishy. We came on a weekday evening and made it in before dinner rush - seated within 5 minutes. (There's the option of bar seating in front of the sushi chefs or a regular table.) While AYCE is an option, we instead did a la carte with their Black Jack, Lisa, Lisa, Lemon Crush, and Fresh Men. Between each option, every cut of fish was fresh and delicious. Black Jack: I set aside my dislike of eel and enjoyed this. Lisa Lisa: Same as above; my friend is an eel lover. ;_; Lemon Crush: A huge surprise; that lemon tang paired exceptionally well with the fresh salmon. Fresh Men: There is only four for this vs 8, but overall everything was good - sashimi especially! Service was fairly quick and efficient. The only awkward interaction was our server's sass in mentioning that some of the rolls weren't 8, but the menu is unclear. How do we know which one only has 4? "Oh, it's because I work here." Outside of the unclear menu, Here Fishy Fishy features their AYCE more than a la carte, but their a la carte options are fresh and tasty. Because they feature AYCE, it's no surprise that you can expect the music here to cut through many conversations. The lighting? Not the best, but there are many flashy lights.

Yelp
Here Fishy Fishy is located in Koreatown and is serving up high-quality, premium, all you can eat sushi. They have a Here Fishy Fishy Specials where you can only order once, but they offer options like uni, ikura, ama ebi, scallop, salmon sashimi, toro, abalone, poke and more. The uni and scallop were my favorite pieces because they were really fresh, and I also loved the baked lobster roll I got. They even have cooked dishes like bulgogi, katsu, and chicken wings if you wanted something hot as well. You can order their premium all you can eat option for $55 and they even validate parking in their structure since street parking can be hard to come by. I definitely recommend stopping by here if you want higher quality all you can eat sushi that's definitely worth your money.

Yelp
My go-to spot for AYCE is no longer the same. Unfortunately the fish-to-rice ratio has decreased significantly, on par with most of the other spots. The price also went up since the last time I went by $5 (now it's $55 for dinner). Luckily the quality remains relatively the same, but I wish the price had remained the same if the fish-to-rice ratio was going down, or vice versa. I went on a Friday night at 6:30, and there was no wait. Usually I would always have to wait, especially for a dinner on a weekend, so I'm not sure if they now have fewer people going due to these changes. I, myself, may venture out to try other spots that have a better fish-to-rice ratio given that they'll be around the same price or lower than HFF. I do like that they offer validation for parking still which is always a huge plus in KTOWN, and the service is good with the servers checking up on you to see if you want to place your next order, which does come out pretty quickly.

Yelp
Really solid ayce for around $50-$60. The quality feels well above an ayce spot. They are generous with their nigiri fish to rice ratio and have sooo many options. I think this is a great spot to go if you're with a group that all want different things. The service is really good and they come around when you need more food. Spot is modern and clean! They validate parking for 2 hours

Yelp
I can see what all the hype is all about... A brilliant AYCE sushi spot in K-Town. Decent size venue with ample amount of seating. Initially I found the parking to be a bit confusing, but I sorted it out without any overly troublesome issues. There is a parking garage / structure on the same building / block, however it is shared with the entire complex and several other businesses. Don't pay for the parking, get your ticket validated at the restaurant when you are done eating. There is a machine that validates your ticket; get it done right before you leave. Staff were friendly and helpful. No issues with the service. I chose to go with the most expensive option: ALL DAY SPECIAL at $54.99. It's all about the specials! The standard limit one item per order... #AYCE: HERE FISHY FISHY SPECIAL: ~ SCREAMING ORGASM - 4.5/5 ~ ORANGE SALMON - 4.5/5 ~ BLUEFIN TUNA POKE - 4.5/5 ~ DOUBLE TROUBLE - 5/5 ~ SPIDER MAN - 4.5/5 ~ AWABI - 4.5/5 ~ IKURA - 5/5 ~ UNI - 5/5 ~ AMA EBI - 5/5 ~ HARASU - 5/5 ~ HIRAME - 4.5/5 ~ HOTATE - 4.5/5 ~ HIRAME - 4.5/5 SOUPS AND SALADS: ~ MISO SOUP - 2.5/5 This was the worst thing I had here. It wasn't inedible, just wasn't good either. APPETIZERS: ~ TAKO WASABI - 5/5 ~ BACON SCALLOP SKEWER - 4/5 SUSHI: ~ SMELT EGG - 5/5 ~ BLUEFIN TUNA - 4.5/5 ~ SALMON - 4/5 ~ YELLOWTAIL - 4/5 ~ BABY SCALLOP - 4/5 ~ FRESH WATER EEL - 4.5/5 4.5 ROUNDED UP TO 5 for me A solid AYCE Sushi spot in K-Town LA with undeniable value...

Yelp
Heard this was one of the best AYCE sushi spots in LA and it definitely lived up to the hype. We parked in the plaza's parking structure and got it validated at the restaurant. I was really impressed by the quality and freshness, especially the uni which was probably the freshest I've had at an AYCE place and better than some regular places as well. All the one-time premium options we tried were great, with standouts being the abalone, salmon belly, and scallop, but even the regular nigiri was solid. They also have a ton of non-sushi appetizers, but we didn't get to try everything because we got full pretty fast.

Yelp
What can I say when you're just at a lost for words from the incredible food, great staff, and overall pleasant experience. Third time at Here Fishy Fishy in Ktown and each and every time, I was not disappointed. The all you can eat is $54.99 but PLEASE KNOW IT IS WORTH IT! You get 90 minutes to eat from the menu (speciality items, rolls, appetizers, and ice cream at the end) and the food is brought out fast. Michael our waiter was amazing tonight making our experience 10 times better! I highly recommend coming to check this AYCE sushi spot because you will definitely get your moneys worth. It can get busy on the weekends but give it a try on a week night and you won't regret it!
google avatar

Linda L.

Yelp
You can decide between AYCE or a la carte. We ordered AYCE for dinner and it was $55 per person. Definitely on the pricy side. The standouts was mostly everything on the Here Fishy Fishy Special (can only order once with AYCE). I would definitely come back just to eat the special menu. It was sooooo good! The rolls were pretty tasty but nothing special from other AYCE sushi spots. The regular nigiri options were ok. There's a parking garage underground with validation. Staff were friendly and the food came out pretty fast. Lots of seating available inside and vibes were great.

Yelp
We came on a Saturday during lunch and it wasn't too busy. I loved most things we got and the only things I didn't like was the corn cheese and sea urchin. I liked that there's ice cream at the end. The music however was too loud and parking validation didn't work. I still enjoyed the food overall and would come back.

Yelp
This restaurant has limited seating but is perfect for grabbing sushi with friends or family. We had a reservation and we were seated instantly. The servers were very nice and often came back to take our order. We got the all-day special but know that you are only able to order each special item once per person. The fish to rice ratio was exceptional and all the seafood were very high quality. The dinner price is pricier than the lunch price but I would definitely come back again. The quality of the fish and the service is worth the price.

Yelp
I went here with my buddy for dinner during my work trip. Parking was tough on a Monday night since we were looking for street parking. We didn't realize that there was a parking garage in the same building and it has a 2 hour validated parking until the staff told us after we finished our meal. It's good to know for next time. The service was slow in the beginning but after we got our second round, the staff was on it and took our next rounds of orders at a decent pace. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The lighting in the place was not very bright and not dim either. There were a few times where my flash would go off when I was taking some pictures if the food. I felt bad since I didn't want to bother other patrons while they were dining when the flash went off. My buddy and I opted for the special AYCE menu which was $54.99 before taxes. We also ordered 2 flavored soju bottles which were decently priced compared to Bay Area prices. Since it was our first time trying this place, we didn't want to over order on our first round and ordered a few items just to get an idea of the portions. We ordered a few items from the special items and 2 rolls. We only ordered 2 rolls during our dinner to focus more on the specialty items which is limited to 1 per person. Plus we didn't want to fill up on rolls. The lobster roll was really good. The little shrimps were nice and crispy and the sauce went well with the roll. We ordered every limited item on special menu and kept ordering the nigiri and other items on the specialty page that were not limited. We both agreed the spider man was a little too sweet. I do not eat uni so my buddy gladly tried it for me and said it was good. My favorite dish was the Awabi. It was cut into 4 little pieces and the portion was perfect to enjoy the flavor with or without soy sauce. The food was great for the price and it filled us up really nicely. I was still full the next day that I opted for something small for lunch and dinner. I would recommend ordering maybe 4 of the limited items each round to not overwhelm the eyes where you might get full by just looking. And you don't have to feel rush to eat them quickly. Our second to last round, we decided to just take the remaining limited items so we can focus more on the other special items. That was a big mistake. The items came really quickly and we were definitely overwhelmed even though the portion was not that big. This made our last round order a very minimal one. If you are in the area and feeling AYCE sushi, check this place out. I am not sure where the entrance to the parking structure is but the staff mentioned it's nearby and to take the ramp going down and not the other ramp since one of the parking is not validated.

Yelp
Came here on a Friday afternoon for their lunch special. $39.99 per person for AYCE. They also validate parking for two hours, which is nice in Ktown. In terms of the food, it was good for the price you pay. Some of the dishes I enjoyed were the ponzu yellow tail, dragon roll, popcorn lobster roll, and lemon crush. Service was good and the ambiance was nice. I wouldn't go out of my way to have AYCE sushi again, but if a friend was in town and they were craving AYCE sushi, I'd definitely recommend

Yelp
Good quality sushi place! AYCE, we love the bluefin tuna, orange salmon, bay scallop, Spider-Man ( deep fried soft shell crab with carrot puree ), toro, scallop, and some other unique dishes. Service is fast and they validate 2 hours of parking. Interior is clean, recommend this place!

Yelp
I stopped at this mall for UPS drop off and since parking validation gave me 2 hours free, I decided to eat lunch at this area. Fishy Fishy caught my eyes and server greeted me well. I just wanted two rolls but he recommended AYCE sushi because price was actually lower. Foods were great. Hawaiian roll and salmon sushi tacos were fantastic. Overall, great hospitality. Servers were genuine. (The main reason Im writing a review) Everything smooth from A to Z. Will come back here with my family. Thank you all!

Yelp
The BEST AYCE sushi that I've been to hands down. Hear me out, $55 seems steep but truly the quality of fish makes everything worth it. All of the specials are amazing, so make sure to order each one. The sushi tacos and jalapeño bomb were my favorite appetizers. We came right at opening at 11:30 on a Sunday and didn't have to wait. I'd recommend coming early or making a res

Yelp
It has been a while since I was blown away by AYCE sushi. For $55/person, it is on the higher end for AYCE but definitely well worth the price. Every piece was fresh and tasted amazing, and the fish-to-rice ratio was unbeatable. The special items are a must! I cannot decide my favorite between the salmon belly, tuna belly, scallop, or sweet shrimp. The seared sushi was incredible as well--slightly seared for the smokiness but not enough to cook the actual fish. Service was quick and friendly despite the weekend dinner rush (: I had a great time, highly recommend and would definitely be back!

Yelp
I've never tried ayce sushi because I never trusted the quality of the fish. This place definitely blew my mind!! The quality was excellent, the service was quick, and you can order as many sushi as you want!!! The first page of the menu have some more expensive fish like otoro and uni so you can only order those once. The regular sushi was also very good. They also have plenty of rolls to choose from. Appetizers include fried soft shell crabs, edamame, miso soup, fried chicken, even bulgolgi! The rice was small and perfect for each bite. They do limit you to 90 mins and the price is 50 pp for dinner , 35pp for lunch. Weekend price is dinner only at 50pp. SOOO GOOD! Highly recommend

Noah L.

Yelp
Second time here, and the food was even better than last time. Bluefin tuna blew me away, as well as the Toro and Hirame. Wish I had more pictures, but I highly recommend this place! Service was as well spot-on, and the ambiance was very nice.

Yelp
This is definitely one of my favorite go-to AYCE Sushi spots! Parking: there's a parking lot behind CVS, it might be a little tricky to get into, but it should be the one leading down instead of up. You can get it validated too! The quality, the service, the taste... all on point! Every time I would come here, we're always greeted and taken care of. Quick service and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. For about $55/person, you can have a variety of sushi, rolls, and appetizers as much as you want. I would always get the "One time per person" or specials so I could try those right away, and then eventually order the rolls or sushi on the menu. They also offer a scoop of ice cream for dessert to cleanse the palate. This is a really fun spot to go with friends, family, or dates! I recommend this place 10/10.

Yelp
great AYCE experience in ktown. I think they validate parking but we found street parking. we did the all day special for 54.99 which I would recommend. it includes the fishy fishy specials, which of course are the best items on the menu. we came around 8pm on a weekend and there was no wait. we ordered all of the specials except the abalone (personal taste). I didn't enjoy the dishes with the screaming sauce as I like the taste of the fish. Nothing tasted "fishy" however. My top dishes from the specials were the bluefin tuna poke, soft shell crab, toro sushi, and the ikura. the scallop was also very soft and sweet. for appetizers, we ordered the takoyaki (decent), crispy rice with spicy tuna (just ok), and sushi taco (avoid). for the rest of the menu, we tried the bluefin tuna, salmon, yellowtail, seared tuna (did not like the yumyum sauce), and fresh water eel. we ordered one roll, the baked lobster, which was just okay. I would not order any rolls here in the future but this was my first time. towards the end, we told a server we wanted 2 orders of certain fish, but we intended it as 2 pieces (I think 1 order comes with 2 pieces already) so we were stuffed by the end. they also give you ice cream at the end to cleanse the palate!! so worth for good quality fish. an omakase with way fewer pieces would be double if not more of the price. def a top spot!! especially now that I have tried diff things and I know how to save my stomach space for the good stuff

Yelp
I have a large list on my Collections for restaurants in DTLA, but having the time and patience to go there is seldom. We were driving through DTLA during rush hour traffic so why not kill some time and try a place on my collection list and I found Here Fishy Fishy, which was recommended to me a long time ago. When we got in I saw the AYCE was $54.98 each, but they had a long list of premium items that you can get one each of per person and that alone would get your monies worth, so we went with the AYCE. I don't know if it was the timing that we were slightly early for dinner, but the service of getting our food to us was lightning speed. After devouring our first order, we went with traditional AYCE sushi choices like rolls, an assortment of nigiri and hand rolls and some appetizer items. The crowd started coming in as we were getting stuffed and very full. To end our meal, we had ice cream which was also included. At the end of our meal, I felt we got our monies worth. To add on to savings, they offer validation for parking, so our parking was free and iykyk that parking in DTLA can be horrendous.

Yelp
If you were asked, "What are the two best things in Japanese cuisine?" how would you answer? Japanese food is incredibly good--miso soup, pickled ginger, Chinese seaweed, tempura, even the California roll (which you can't find in Japan), and ramen (which Japanese people consider a Chinese dish). Everything is delicious; I can't even name a single dish that isn't good. But what are the two best? In my opinion, they must be sea urchin and bluefin tuna toro. Unfortunately, I didn't get to enjoy sea urchin or quality bluefin tuna toro during my New Year's Eve dinner at Here Fishy Fishy. First, they didn't have sea urchin that night. Second, while they did serve bluefin tuna, it wasn't toro. In fact, none of their dishes contained bluefin tuna toro, even though some items were labeled as "toro" they clearly weren't bluefin. I have to say, the food was worth the price for the AYCE at $54.99. They offered some items exclusive to the $54.99 AYCE, but these could only be ordered once. Naturally, we tried a round of everything from the exclusive items, though there was no sea urchin that day. Let's take a closer look. SCREAMING ORGASM 3/5 Seared Fatty Bluefin Tuna Sashimi with Screaming Sauce Too fatty. It was seared but served cold, which made the food even fattier. The taste was strange, though the flavor was okay. By the way, why is it called Screaming Sauce? I don't get it; the sauce was so flat and mild. ORANGE SALMON 2/5 Salmon Sashimi with Orange Ponzu Sauce The flavor diminished the freshness of the salmon. It was acceptable but not surprising. BLUEFIN TUNA POKE 4/5 Red Onion, Seaweed Salad, and Furikake, Sesame Oil It tasted good. The tuna dices paired well with the Chinese seaweed, and the seasoning was well-balanced. DOUBLE TROUBLE 0/5 Minced Toro Sushi with Black Truffle Salt and Kizami Wasabi The texture was horrible--it made me think it was sous vide beef. Later, I checked the menu and realized it was supposed to be toro, some fish's toro. Why ruin fish like this? SPIDER MAN 5+/5 Deep Fried Soft Shell Crab with Carrot Purée Excellent, one of the best soft shell crabs I've ever had. The carrot purée didn't taste like carrot, but it didn't matter. The frying technique was exceptional, and the sauce was delicious. AWABI 5/5 Butter Seared Abalone Sashimi with Kizami Wasabi Very good. The abalone was incredibly tender, which is not easy to achieve. IKURA 5/5 Salmon Roe Sushi Very good. The seaweed wrap was crispy--a must for gunkan sushi. The salmon roe was also very fresh. AMA EBI 5/5 Sweet Shrimp with Smelt Eggs * No Rice Good. It tasted sweet. HARASU 3/5 Salmon Belly Sushi with Kizami Wasabi It was okay, but I've had better. TORO 2/5 Tuna Belly Sushi with Kizami Wasabi Okay, you might trick someone into thinking it's tuna toro, but it's obviously not bluefin tuna toro. Even the color was noticeably different from bluefin tuna toro. HOTATE 5/5 Jumbo Scallop Sashimi with Kizami Wasabi and Smelt Eggs Very good-fresh, soft, juicy, and tender. HIRAME 3/5 Halibut Sushi with Yuzu Kosho Paste In the past, fresh halibut was hard to come by, but nowadays it's easy. However, live farmed halibut is different from wild-caught halibut. The items above are part of the $54.99 AYCE specials. Now, let's take a look at the regular menu items. SUSHI TACO (SALMON/SHRIMP/TUNA) 4/5 This was an interesting dish. We thought it would use large seaweed as the tortilla, but it didn't. Instead, it was a mini-sized fried tortilla, making it a hard-shell taco stuffed with minced salmon. Very interesting, worth trying. AGEDASHI TOFU 5/5 The flavor and texture were excellent. Strongly recommended. BULGOGI 3/5 This was stir-fried, marinated sweet beef slices. It was good, but I rated it 3 because the Spicy Pork Bulgogi was better. SHRIMP TEMPURA 4/5 The frying technique was very good-light and crispy. A solid dish. SPICY PORK BULGOGI 4/5 Very tasty. It was clearly marinated with gochujang and sugar, then stir-fried. Good flavor and tender texture. CALAMARI TEMPURA 3/5 It wasn't bad, but I wouldn't recommend it. There are better options available. VEGETABLE TEMPURA I didn't try this, but I would guess it is good. TAKOYAKI 2/5 The sauce was too salty, the texture was strange, and there was very little octopus. Not recommended. JALAPENO BOMB 4/5 Recommended. It had a good taste and was not the usual fare. EEL SUSHI 4/5 Very good, if you still have room to enjoy it. OTHER GOOD THINGS 999+/5 The rice in all the sushi was served in small portions, which is rare for AYCE sushi. Most AYCE sushi relies on rice to fill you up, but not here. Trust me, it's worth the price, even though there were areas for improvement. For example, they served the wrong items several times. Once, they even served us something incorrectly, took it back, and then served it to another table. Anyway, the food tasted good, and the price was excellent. I will definitely be back. By the way, it wasn't crowded even on New Year's Eve. I don't think

Yelp
I've been here a couple of times, great for intimate settings and also for groups. The sushi/nigiri here never disappoints, some of the freshest fish I've tried! Parked in the parking structure next door, and reservations are accepted. The restaurant is clean on the inside, and no complaints with the service every time. The special menu is fun to try, with a limit of 1 per person (only downside). My favorites were Spider Man, Screaming Orgasm, Orange Salmon, and Double Trouble. The sushi/nigiri are very juicy, with the fish to rice ratio being excellent, fresh fish and just the right amount of rice, so you're not getting full on just rice. Would definitely recommend if you are in the LA area.

Yelp
Some of the best AYCE sushi I've had! Most items came out super quickly - we ordered mainly nigiri, and the fish-to-rice ratio was perfect. Just very pleasant and smooth experience overall. Also looks super trendy and modern inside, and they provide 2 hours of parking validation. The parking structure entrance is on Oxford. I've already recommended to a few friends!

Yelp
One of the most solid AYCE sushi spots I've been to so far! I made a resy on Yelp beforehand since I heard this place can get crowded sometimes. For parking, there's a parking structure behind the plaza and you can validate your parking for 2 hours at the restaurant. I came for the $39.99 AYCE lunch deal and it was a great experience! There was so much variety from regular sushi to creative rolls! There were also lots of great appetizers to choose from such as the spicy tuna on crispy rice. My favorite had to be the simple salmon and tuna sushi. Great cuts of meat and I loved that there wasn't too much rice attached to them, so you could really enjoy the flavor and texture of the fish. However, I wasn't the biggest fan of the seared salmon and sushi since I think they seared them too much to the point where it was mostly cooked. As for the service, the staff was very attentive and they brought our orders relatively quickly. However, we did have to remind the staff on 2 of our orders which they didn't bring so we had to order them again. I would also recommend if the staff could act a little friendlier to the customers since the 2 staff serving us seemed cold and uninviting. Overall, I had a great experience here and I would come again! It was great value for pretty good sushi!

Yelp
The food quality here is still mediocre but one of the better ones amongst the local all you can eat sushi spots, the specialty menu items that your are limited to one of consist of much lower quality sushi and often tough or stinky pieces of fish. The items off that list that were good like the uni and tuna poke were much smaller in size than the others and below average in my opinion. They offer 2 hour validation which is nice but be careful because their service is so poor and slow that you may need over 2 hours of parking at a rate that is around $15/hour. My table was often over looked, straight up ignored, and had numerous orders forgotten. Not once past the first 5 minutes of being sat were we checked up on- I HATE waving down a server but after 30+ minutes of waiting each time for attention, you kinda have to. Our last order that we put in much before our allotted time slot ended took OVER 50 minutes and the whole time that we were waiting on their slow service, the staff was ushering us out to leave. We didn't receive any attention from staff until we had been sitting past their time limit waiting on food we ordered nearly an hour ago. We consistently got incomplete orders and were encouraged to leave before receiving them multiple times.

Yelp
Love love love coming here. Definitely the best all you can eat sushi. Came here Friday lunch, it was not busy and before coming, I called ahead they mentioned I can just walk in. There's parking behind the plaza, and they validate... they have a little machine inside the store where you just need to put your license plate. For the food; the fish to rice ratio is generous. You will really really enjoy your food. We also had great server, Tom, who recommended a lot to us. He was very knowledgeable and knew what we would like right away. Shout out to you Tom, we loved your service. going back to food, aside from the delicious sushi, sushi taco was also amazing and all the other rolls we got. It does get pretty heavy, so it's nice that they have half roll option. Can't wait to go back to Here Fishy Fish!!!

Yelp
Service was great, they came by the perfect amount of time. Everyone was polite and food came out so fast. Probably the best service we've experienced at an AYCE place. 5/5 for service! 4/5 for food. This place would be better if you were coming with more than 2 people because when I was just my fiancé and I... we only ordered the sushi cause he can't have gluten and I can't eat the rolls by myself. I was able to get a half order roll of the spicy tiger (?) roll... I really like this one. The sushi was still very good though. All were very fresh. My favs were the scallop shishimi, toro, minced toro nigiri, salmon belly, salmon, unagi, and yuzu yellowtail (this one was SO REFRESHING). I normally don't even like uni but the uni here was so good. There were a few pieces that had some stringy membrane that got really stuck in my teeth though. The green muscle could be a bit more flavorful. Overall, glad we came and would return if we were in the area. My favorite thing about our experience was the service and their rice to fish ratio.

Yelp
While on vacation, we were looking for an AYCE Sushi spot and found this one on Yelp with great reviews. Parking was a little confusing but not a problem at all. Waze got us there and we ended up finding street parking a block away as soon as we got there. Garage parking is located on the street prior which is connected to the building. We walked over and found it on the street level of the building. It seemed a little sketch as there were numerous unsheltered people in the open courtyard area and two were doing drugs right there in the open. When you walk into the restaurant, you feel as though you aren't even in that kind of area. The restaurant is nice and modern with cool lighting. We had made a reservation, arrived about 1 hour earlier and was able to get seated right away. The hostess and our server were awesome. Our server checked on us many times assuring that we were able to order what we wanted and that our drinks were topped off. The food was amazing. The fish was fresh and everything was so so good. Great quality for what you pay. The price is $54.99 per person. It is on the pricier side but worth it if you want AYCE Sushi. I usually pay $38.99 in Vegas for the same quality at my fav AYCE but I would still pay for this. It is a definitely must go to and I will return when in LA!

Yelp
Food was good. Definitely worth the price. Service was quick and kept coming around multiple times to ask what we wanted for the next round making the 90 minute duration worth it. Make sure to read the menu before going because premium items are one time only order. I would def try one of each of those if you can. The bluefin poke was just okay, I would only order one to share. Corn cheese was good and you have to eat it right away, if you wait for it to cool off, the cheese hardens a bit. We had a choice between Sapporo 12oz or 60oz and to get the price worth it grabbed the 60 to share between two people. They have ice cream (vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, green tea) for dessert so make sure to ask. It's not on the menu . They don't have any juice but do have high chairs for babies. FYI- The bathroom does NOT have a changing table. I believe they have a parking lot but we weren't able to find the entrance to it and my husband just found street parking close by.

Yelp
The only ayce for sushi that I've been was Aikan, so I don't have a lot of references to compare to, but the fish was super fresh and everything was delicious. They have a good variety and the the sushi's and dishes with rice came with little rice, which all my family appreciated, cause then we don't get full too fast. However, the service should be improved. Employees never smile and one of the ladies serving our table always threw the plates. It doesn't affect me wanting to go again for the delicious food, but I know the experience would be complete and perfect if the staff was in a better mood when attending the customers. Make sure you get the premium items first so you don't waste tummy space with other things.

Yelp
Really good! We came for lunch and were seated immediately. Their AYCE deal is great. It was $39.99 for the lunch AYCE and we tried a bunch. We started with edamame, calamari, and vegetable tempura. All of which were great. We then went into sashimi, ordering the salmon, seared eel, yellowtail, seared salmon, yuzu yellowtail, and seared tuna. The tuna and the yuzu yellowtail were best. We then ordered rolls. The OMG, the dragon and the sexy girl were all good but I think my favorite of everything was the OMG roll. We finished with some ice cream. Very good!

Yelp
Amazing AYCE sushi! Oftentimes AYCE places sacrifice quality for quantity. Not here, the fish is all very fresh and high quality Came for a Monday lunch with a friend, we were seated promptly at the sushi bar. There were quite a few families dining in during lunch which was a bit unexpected, but not overly crowded. Very casual and friendly environment. Our server was prompt with getting us water and taking our orders, and was very easily able to answer any questions we had about the menu. He came and checked in on us often, refilled our water frequently, and made it easy for us to get more food when we wanted. We ordered several rounds, maybe 4-5, and were offered ice cream at the end. Very good experience dining here. We tried the following appetizers: Corn cheese, sushi taco, bacon scallop skewers, takoyaki In terms of nigiri, and seared sushi we got: Baby scallop, yuzu yellowtail, lemon salmon, Cajun bluefin tuna, garlic bluefin tuna, albacore And finally we tried these signature rolls: Rainbow, sexy girl, fresh men, James Bond, Cajun salmon, Washington All of the food was great, tasted fresh and high quality. Amongst the rolls, we both enjoyed the fresh men quite a bit. There was a lot of different fish packed into one roll and it was very flavorful, yet also fairly light and easy to eat. I personally loved all the nigiri, my friend's favorite was probably the yuzu yellowtail. I also really appreciate that with the signature rolls you can get half orders. It makes it a lot easier to try a greater variety of items, and I don't think any other AYCE sushi places I've encountered offer that Pricing is pretty great for lunch if you come hungry, I can't think of many places in a major California city that offer AYCE meals for $39.99 that taste this good. Dinner is slightly more but if you can swing it I think it's probably worth it here. Very good experience, would recommend to any sushi lovers in the area

Yelp
Here Fishy Fishy is now my ALL TIME FAVORITE place I have ever eaten. I was seriously in love from the first bite. The service and food were quite literally the best I've ever experienced. The fish was super fresh and high quality, and every single dish was so well done. The price is most definitely worth it. I'm not even kidding when I say I think about this place at least once a day. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
I went here with a couple of friends and there were so many different unique types of sushi and appetizers that you could order. I personally loved the garlic salmon it was so unique and flavor, but at the same time you can really taste the quality of the salmon. Anything salmon I loved it here! There were some unique appetizers like the sushi tacos which I really enjoyed. I would definitely come here again... I think of the fish from time to time LOL. Service is super friendly and they're very on top of it. Cute little late night ambiance for those of you who are night owls. They do validate parking here. ( amazing plus )

Yelp
If you're looking for high quality sushi then you came to the right place. There is two locations in K-town for Here Fishy Fishy that are not even a mile apart. This location may be more convenient if you are not looking to wait a long time as they accept reservations. The ambience was dim lighting with a small but cozy environment. The AYCE menu is a bit pricier than other ayce sushi spots but in my opinion well worth it. There's a selection of items that are premium and you can receive one per guests. I'd recommend ordering one of each for the whole party to start. They have a wider selection of fish to choose from than typical other spots such as red snapper, lemon salmon, and bluefin tuna. The rice to fish ratio is the best I've seen and they give about a dime size piece of rice per fish. Everything was fresh and tasted great. The only thing I was not fond of which we also didn't order but was brought to us was the tuna sushi tacos. It was overly sweet and unpleasant. Although all the other appetizers were good. Overall, great place to get sushi if you're in the area and hard to beat elsewhere.

Yelp
I had the BEST experience here! AYCE is priced very fairly (you DO NOT want cheap AYCE sushi) and the quality is fantastic. I am usually very picky with my seafood as I can't stand the fishy taste, but I did not have that problem here. The portion sizes are also very generous, and they give very small segments of rice (I sometimes even wished there was MORE rice). The staff were also very friendly and came often to check up on our table. I really recommend & can't wait to come back!

Yelp
This sushi spot is known for its delicious all-you-can-eat sushi that's always fresh and comes in generous portions. If you're feeling adventurous, definitely go for the premium menu to try their specials like uni, ama ebi, and toro. Not usually a fan of abalone, but their version with butter sear and fresh wasabi was amazing!

Yelp
This is the best place for AYCE sushi! The portions are big and everything is very good quality. They also have ice cream. I definitely recommend this place if you are craving lots of sushi. The staff was super nice and the sushi came out pretty quickly.

Yelp
Visited this very well hidden sushi spot before going to a concert at the Wiltern, let's just say it was incredible! So many intricate and unique rolls to choose from, it was so hard to pick. We ended up getting the popcorn lobster, which was probably my favorite, the spider roll, my second favorite, and the tempura california roll, my last favorite. The popcorn lobster is mind blowing, the presentation amazing, and my friend and I would not stop talking about how good it was. The spider roll was amazing as well, nothing special about, but nothing bad and still above your average sushi spot. The tempura California roll was definitely a hard one to finish, because we were full and because it just wasn't as good. because the other part is fried, the insides of the roll is warm and I personally didn't like the combo of just a hot sushi roll with a bunch of different textures. Overall a great visit and would definitely come back!

Yelp
I went here with my boyfriend for the all day all you can eat for 54.99 per person, which we felt was worth it for the special options. The food was really delicious and I only got a picture of the first serving because afterwards, I was too excited to eat to care about taking pictures. We were seated really quickly and didn't have a reservation. They also had validation for parking. The only reason why I didn't give it the full 5 stars was because I felt really rushed by the service. They asked me 3 times within a span of 10 minutes if I was ready to order. The second time I explained I was waiting for my boyfriend to grab my jacket from my car, but they still came back a third time even though my boyfriend hadn't returned yet. Despite this, the food and the vibes were good. I would definitely come back.

Yelp
We came on a Tuesday night for dinner and this place was packed. Good thing we made reservations! The moment we sat down, our server was ready to assist. Waters came really fast. I was really impressed with how responsive and quick they are when taking orders. We got the all you can eat for our group of 6, and it was SO worth it. We ordered a bunch and our server was so quick. She never had to stop and look for our item on her tablet. A few minutes after ordering, the food came on almost immediately. Luckily we finished plates and more plates were being placed. We had 3 rounds of orders and was only 30 minutes into our meal LOL All the specialties are delicious! So definitely get them all. I also love how all the sushi came with very little rice. It shows this place isn't trying to fill you up with rice. All their sashimi are also really fresh and delicious. We ordered a total of 168 items for less than 400 for our group of 6, which is an AMAZING deal considering how expensive some sushi places charge. To top it off they have udon, salads, gyozas and other side orders that are also delicious. We ended our meal with ice cream. Deifnitely get their mochi green tea ice cream! This place is a solid sushi place and we will definitely be back! Some of the items that really stood out to me were: Special: Orange Salmon Special: Screaming Orgasm Special: Double Trouble Special: Bluefin Tuna Poke Special: Tuna Belly Sushi Cajun Bluefin Tuna Yuzu Yellowtail Cajun Albacore Garlic Bluefin Tuna Garlic Edamame Lobster Roll Washington Roll Popcorn Lobster Roll

Yelp
Great food selection, and excellent all you can eat. The speciality rolls are both beautiful and delicious

Yelp
I have a new sushi restaurant! The great thing is that is local and they offer all you can eat specials. I went on a weekend and sat at the sushi bar to avoid a 30 min wait time. The sushi was fresh, came out quick, and pretty well priced. I did not do the all you can eat since it was my first time I was trying to figure out if I would like it first. I can't wait to go back ! Btw they offer 2 hour parking just make sure you know your license plate since you will be ask to enter it on the terminal at the hostess stand.

Yelp
Came here for lunch after some indoor golfing with my mom. Luckily we came on a weekday and were seated right away. But soon after we were seated, it filled up quite quickly with I assume the lunch crowd working in the area. We had worked up quite n appetite and decided to do the premium AYCE. I've never seen uni offered at a sushi AYCE spot and was really happy to see that on the specials. So with the premium, you can get one order of all the specials which we did. They were all good but the uni, toro, Wagyu and fried soft shell crab were stand out dishes. I'm usually not a big fan of abalone but they did it really well, it was tender and flavorful. We also really enjoyed the yuzu jalapeño salmon and the Cajun flavored seafood. Everything was very fresh and appetizing. There's nothing bad to be said. I also had the ice cream for dessert and almost burst at the seams.

Yelp
First time it was greats Ms second time not so much! The whole group had the worst stomach ache and mine lasted couple days with discomfort in my throat. The price is good compare to how much you get . You can't expect it to be fresh. The service is quick but the food takes forever after couple orders we had to keep asking when the orders were coming out. When the mussels came out it was undercooked which is not good. The space is very modern and clean would I go back after my thought clears up on how much pain I was in after eating their food.
