Heritage Dulwich

I really like this place, it's quality Indian food, very refined, full of flavour not overly oily. The service is also attentive and professional. Definitely our go-to Indian. The Paneer is absolutely amazing. I'd probably like some more vegetarian dishes being offered, but overall, very happy. We've also tried the delivery service and food came in at the expected time, and the quality is really close to the restaurant (You always lose some taste in delivery). Highly recommended, just add some more vegetarian dishes!

Extraordinary presentation, they say we eat with our eyes first and that’s exactly what Heritage Dulwich have achieved with every dish they brought out. For someone who is always so keen on presenting the best for when I cook myself at home, Heritage Dulwich have aced this. The exquisite flavours of each bite on every dish was stunning. Literal fireworks taking place within my palate that evening! Woke up the next day thinking about the venison & the king prawns. The staff were ever so pleasant, could not have asked for a better service. Divya, you were a star. The ambience of the restaurant was very cosy, dim-lit environment - perfect for any occasion. Thoroughly enjoyed the company, service, the food - everything was spot on! Thank you for an amazing evening Roy and everyone at Heritage Dulwich! Highly Recommend!

Fantastic birthday meal! Could not recommend this place more. Wonderful service, exquisite food and a great atmosphere too. Can’t wait to go back and delve into the menu further. A gem!

Amazing food, great staff and lovely atmosphere! The mix starter of lamb, prawns and chicken was soo good! Must try! And biryani was just finger licking! 😋😋 Would definitely visit again!

I have to say, the food here is quite superb and cooked to perfection. We had the tasting menu, which was just wonderful. The staff are a delight; attentive without being at all overbearing. I’d personally like a little more light over the table; it does feel a little on the dark side, but a micro-gripe on my part. All in all, a must if you love Indian food!

This is by far and away the best Indian restaurant and takeaway I have ever enjoyed… we’re talking ELITE level food, of the very highest quality. Me and my parents enjoyed a meal at the restaurant last year, and me and my Ma have subsequently ordered delivery and it’s always exceptional. I cannot, in any way, recommend Heritage Dulwich more. Thank you all there - in the kitchen, your waiting staff and delivery staff, you’re all lovely. HIGHLY RECOMMEND 🙏❤️

We visited 4 people on 21 June evening. We ordered 4 main dishes, including Biriyani, Nan breads and Paratha and a bottle of Champagne. The food was delicious. The portion was also reasonable. Nan was soft and freshly made. However, We are quite disappointed with the service quality. The lady, I guess the supervisor seemed a little extra concerned about other table than us. I felt a bit of a racist vibe. As there were only three tables running during our visit. And the lady asked other all tables about food or rest and haven’t come for once to our one. Even from the beginning, no one asked for papadam or water. In fact, we had to call the waiter two-three times for refilling our water glass. Which is unacceptable as they should be around to check for service. Apart from that some of the glasses were dirty, need to check before you start serving, had to call for change. They did not clean the table after finishing the food and did not even ask for the dessert menu. Also as a prestigious restaurant, the bill should be taken from the table, not from the till. I will think twice before going again to Heritage Restaurant. Expected a lot, but experienced the bare minimum…

My husband and I stumbled across this local gem when said husband inadvertently booked a 1 star restaurant and I had to do some damage control. After searching through the Michelin guide, I found this. We were greeted by the co-owner when we arrived and he had the brightest smile, making us feel welcome immediately. We ordered the 7 course tasting menu and the co-owner spent a lot of time explaining each of the dishes including the story and inspiration behind them. It was an absolute joy to eat here and after 3 hours, we were truly stuffed with delicious food and so thoroughly relaxed that we didn't even notice the time. Highly recommend and we would most definitely visit again.
