"Heritage opened as an upscale-infused Italian resturant in 2020 and hasn’t looked back. Its Mafaldine Bolognese is among the most perfected, with pork, veal, and wagyu elements. Save room for a pizza or two with innovative spins like a short rib marsala topped with blue oyster mushrooms."
"This Flagler Village contemporary spot came in hot in 2020 and keeps sizzling. Beyond its staples – like the sausage and broccoli rabe or Patate with whipped potatoes, ricotta, and smoked pancetta – keep an eye on its creative daily specials. These can include magic like a short rib marsala pie, likely found nowhere else."
"Flagler Village — Fort Lauderdale’s version of Wynwood — continues to blossom by the day, and Heritage is poised to be the neighborhood restaurant. Freshly baked pizzas are at its menu’s core, with concoctions topped with pistachio pesto, broccoli rabe, chili honey, and seemingly everything in between. Its mafaldine Bolognese — with house-made pasta and wagyu beef — may have you periodically straying from the pizza."
"Heritage is the sort of buzzy restaurant you just don’t see a lot in Fort Lauderdale. It’s located in MASS District (Fort Lauderdale’s arts district) and is one of the harder weekend reservations to book (so plan ahead). It has that trendy new restaurant energy—the dining room is loud, crowded, and everyone seems to be having fun. It’s a good table to book when you want dinner to feel like going out, but it’s not just a scene. The Italian food is good. They make a wonderful chopped salad with big cubes of mortadella, solid pizza, pasta, and small plates like a tasty sweet long pepper stuffed with ground wagyu. Just don’t expect to walk in without a reservation on the weekend." - Ryan Pfeffer
Rino Cerbone channels family recipes and rock-and-roll energy into wood‑fired pizzas, handmade pastas, and razor clams. Recognized with a Bib Gourmand by the Michelin Guide and covered by Time Out and Eater, it’s Flagler Village’s essential Italian.
