Great atmosphere, great service and great flavor. Loved the sweet and spicy bbq sauce. My only complaint was there ain’t no way that was a half rack of ribs lol besides that the portions on everything else was great. The smoked wings came out and at that moment I understood the price!

Great work ever. Can’t say enough good. Food was hot and so yummy. Margs were refreshing. Ribs fell off the bone. Baked potatoe, loaded hit it out of the park. A definite hit. And will come again.

We used to eat here all the time, but I hadn't been in a while. It's still just as good as ever and their lunch specials were very reasonable. You can't skip their onion rings and sauce.

Food was really good. Definitely better than the place I went to on 11/18/2025. I had the ribs and brisket combo. They give big portions so I took the rest home.

Easily the worst meal i’ve ever had. Decent service but the food is awful. Gas station brisket is better. Even the water tasted disgusting. i couldn’t believe it. The bbq sauce they use ruins everything it touches. I don’t typically provide reviews, but felt a warning was needed.

So im not from Parker and just moved here, so this is my first time trying the "Hickory House" ordered online so it was to go. The bad first, the beef ribs were dry for sure and frankly not much meat on the bones for a full rack, I got the side of Cole slaw and it was way too small for a meal size portion, came in a small cup maybe 3 spoons full. House salad was fine, average at best. Toast was fine, again just average. I thought I was going to get something ŵorth coming back for. It appears to me this place is surviving on its prior reputation and not on its current value. I paid almost $40 for this and it was way to much for average food. The ribs themselves taisted good, just wish there was more meat. Online ordered show all steaks were out of stock.. what? How can that be. Save yourself $$ and go to King Soopers and get their rack of ribs from the deli, way more meat and worth the money. I won't be going back to Hickory House.

This experience overall was really good. Our server took great care of us! I was with 2 others and we all got the Thursday lunch speical which is a full rack of ribs, beans, toast, coleslaw, and fries for $18. Normally that meal cost $20. The value was excellent. The sides all tasted so good, especially the beans. The ribs were pretty good, they were fall off the bone but the meat was a little tough. Still some of the better I have. I will for sure be back!

Hickory House has been our go-to for BBQ takeout, but our first dine-in experience was fantastic. We loved the interior setup, the service was excellent, and the staff were attentive. We ordered the pork ribs and spicy sausage, both of which were delicious. We recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning

I've been going here ever since I was little. The ribs are the best in the state. The service is amazing, they are always nice and friendly. The ambiance there can get crazy but it's calm otherwise.

Great ribs and a casual atmosphere makes for a wonderful reunion with a friend I haven't seen in a while. This was a great place to catch up with life, the ribs and all the sauces were excellent. I haven't tried any other rib places here, but I have to believe they do have the best ribs in Colorado!

This place was really good! We came for my husbands birthday since he loves smoked meats and bbq. Personally, I do not like bbq or smoked meats much but even I enjoyed my meal! I got the chicken and shared it with my toddler and w both really liked it. My husband got the ribs and brisket and he devoured them. The ambiance was fun and the service was good. We will definitely come back.

We've been here at least 10 times and had great food. Tonight, it was really terrible. The service was good, and honestly we were worried our kids were being loud but there was barely anyone in the entire restaurant, so it wouldn't have mattered. I ordered a ribs and chicken plate expecting that the chicken would have been smoked, but it was grilled, slathered in bbq sauce. The 1/2 rack of ribs were dried out, tiny and tasted like they'd been reheated a few times. Like almost rancid. Did ownership change? It's been a few years since we've gone here but it was drastically different and so disappointing. Hope they can turn it around, but we won't be going back.

Hickory house is a real treat sitting on the main drag of Parker road. No matter what your BBQ favorite is, you will find it here. Personally I love their Jalapeño cheddar sausage and ribs, but I have had the brisket and pulled pork as well and you really can't go wrong. Their smoked wings are the star of the show though. They are as big as drumsticks and from what our waitress told us one of Guy Fieri's favorites! The atmosphere is awesome with a log cabin feel and both a dining and bar area as well as a screened in back porch. The price is reasonable and they load you up with food so you won't go away hungry. Tl:DR - Try the wings, they are huge and tasty!

How far they've fallen. Ribs tasted leftover (dry and shrunken). Baked potato same. Place looks and feels outdated and unloved. Feels like it was sold to someone who doesn't really care. Painful to say, because for years it was a landmark.

We decided to come to Hickory House Ribs & Steaks while out. We were seated promptly and our waitress Jessica took our order. We decided we would get the feast includes baby back ribs, bbq chicken, pulled pork, beef brisket, garlic toast, potatoes, corn on the cob, baked beans, and coleslaw. Let's get the bad out of the way first. No onion rings till further notice. No excuse for this.The garlic toast had zero flavor, just a dried toasted bread. The cheesy potatoes were just okay, could have been cooked a little more. The baked beans, the beans were slightly undercooked and just a ketchup flavor for the sauce. The potato salad was made perfectly as far as texture but seasoning. On to the positives. The Mac N Cheese with bacon bits on top was nice and creamy and the bacon was a major plus. The coleslaw had a nice flavor and crunchy texture. On to the stars. The sausage had a nice coarse texture to it and very flavorful. The brisket and pulled pork were both moist and dried out. Plenty of flavor. The ribs were just a little over cooked but the sauce used was tasty. Our waitress Jessica did a great job of checking on us and doing refills. Overall they are just a middle of road restaurant to me.

3.5 Bones. Picked up 5 pounds of pulled pork and brisket for a large Superbowl party I attended in Parker. Their food is pretty solid and they were doing a ton of business. If you were there to order and pickup it could have easily been an hour wait. Pretty popular for sure Both meats were cooked well and were not dry. Not over sauced nor too salty. Flavor really showed up. It's just that it was not like good Texas or Carolina Q Nonetheless if you are down south of Denver good place to get some solid Barbeque

The ribs are delicious. The staff does a really good job, too. The drinks are good too.

We stopped at hickory house for a dinner after a training. Our service kellan was so attentive and kind. We ordered onion rings and sausages for our apps. The jalapeño cheddar sausage was the best. For dinner I ordered combo #6 which was half rack and sausage. I wasted but it was super good. I also loved the souvenir cups haha

I ordered catering for my husbands 40th surprose party! Jeremiah was so great! He went out of his way to make sure I had what I needed and then some. Pick up was easy, and the food was outstansding. A great deal for the price! Will definitely order catering from here again!

We arrived to a full house but were fortunate enough to be seated at a table for 6 which was perfect for the 6 of us. We were seated in a section where Abi was our waiter which was also fortunate as he is a master of his trade. We ordered and it felt as though it was just a few minutes before he returned to our table with all of our selections. I selected the #2 Plate which is a half rack of ribs with a side of pulled pork, a side of beans and coleslaw and French Fries. The portions were outstanding. There was enough food that 2 people could easily share it and be fully satisfied. Our table also ordered hamburgers, wings, Mac-n-cheese and chicken all of which was delicious. If you have a large party or just a couple looking for a great place to relax and have a great time and wonderful food and beverage then the Hickory House in Parker is where you want to be.

Awful definition of BBQ, stay away!! Chicken was dried and jerky like. Chopped brisket and pulled pork were mushy. One of their regular customers was choking on her food, and I had to give her the heimlich. Management didn't come over to check on her, nor did the staff. The manager didn't come over and say thanks for helping out.

I have to say the food is hit or miss. My salad had big lettuce pieces that seemed like garnish, the chicken in it was super dry. It was called bbq chicken but I had to add the bbq sauce. Wasn't a fan of that. The burger was ok, the sausage link was good, the fries were way over done, too hard to eat. The best thing we had were the wings, which were so different. They had been made into like a lollipop almost. They had lots of meat and a wonderful smoky flavor. Also the Mac and cheese hit the spot, it was creamy and gooey. The bbq sauces were good, but not good enough to really make the food any better. I probably wouldn't make the drive to go again.

A friend recommended this place and it did not disappoint! When they stake the claim of best ribs in Colorado they aren't joking. As someone who grew up near KC I get pretty picky about my ribs and these exceeded my expectations. They were cooked perfectly, and a delicious glaze, and the bbq sauce was very good. They have three choices of bbq sauce and I picked the classic. The sausage was tasty and so were the sweet potato tots. The tots were crispy on the outside and the perfect amount of chewy on the inside. As for the service, I was able to be seated at the bar right away and my food came out quickly. The staff were friendly and my waitress was very kind and provided great service. I will definitely be back!

Best ribs in Colorado? They were really small and dry. Old tasting. The garlic bread was just bread with little garlic. I don't even know how to describe the coleslaw. Just absolutely horrible. Spit out horrible. It's sad to see a once good place drop its quality. Never again.

This is a good location if you are craving some good ole BBQ. I had the pulled pork sandwich which was fresh, meaty, thick and delicious. The baked beans had a thick, rich and zesty sauce and the cole slaw was cool, fresh and crisp. I also like their selection of BBQ sauces that range from sweet and tangy to hot and spicey. Their bottomless sodas with a take home collectors cup is a good way to round off your meal. Good experience all around.

What a disappointment this place was recommended to us by a friend so we tried it. I had the ribs and brisket The ribs are the smallest ribs. I've ever eaten hardly any meat on them. The brisket well, I'm not even sure if it was brisket. It was so mushy with no taste whatsoever. The only thing that tasted good was the potato salad, which I'm sure was store-bought. Will we go back not a chance.

Every order we order for take out is screwed up. Tonight we didn't get salad dressings for our salads , but the bag was filled with an abundance of BBQ sauce that was completely unnecessary. The kids taking the orders don't care. Not going back.

They have gone down hill, ribs were dry and bland, tasted like boiled, put some sauce and reheated. Fried pickles were awful. Used to be really good and not so much anymore. Will not be back.

We have eaten here before and liked it. The food has been uniformly tasty and good sized portions. This interaction: terrible by the phone staff. When taking our order for a Feast, the staff heard '1C'. So we got a chicken dinner instead. When confronted at pickup about mishearing me, his response was 'that's on you, man.' Really? No apology. I ended up ordering the other items separately, waiting longer, and paying more. If this is the caliber of staff working here in the future, we will not be back.

Best barbecue I've had in a while and I'm use of eating good southern barbecue but honestly Hickory House tops it for me!!!! I love the fireplace inside it was very cozy in the winter and I love the big wooden chairs and tables! The food is absolutely amazing fresh and hot! My favorite is the chop beef and smoke sausage!!!!

I have been coming here for years and this place never really disappoints. This experience is from my dinner yesterday with a friend of mine that I haven't seen in quite a bit so we decided to stop in and catch up over dinner. We were seated immediately which I was little worried it would be super busy and we would have to wait, but nope. No line. Our server, cage, came over and took our drink order and offered us water. He was extremely attentive and fantastic server. I don't think he can legally serve alcohol because someone else always brought out the drinks. He was still quick to bring us boxes or lids, checking on us to make sure we were good or needed anything. Great server! We both order some combos. I got the Combo #5 (if you started singing the mambo #5 song in your head too, I get it.) It is half a rack of ribs, catfish, beans, cole slaw, Texas toast and a potato of choice, which I got a loaded baked potato. The ribs were a bit small compared to what they usually have. They still tasted great though. It had 3 pieces of fish with some delicious tartar sauce. Also good to dip in their BBQ sauce on the table. Everything tasted great and it was a ton of food for the price. I love this place. Great BBQ.

I had the salmon, sweet potato tots , coleslaw, beans. The salmon tasted old, did not taste like it was even barbecued. It was very dry. The beans tasted like they were at the bottom of the barrel and the coleslaw needed to be seasoned more. Husband had the brisket, was tough and cold, tasted like stew meat. Disappointed for sure. Also the ambience of outside was treacherous. trash, soda cans, to go boxes, weeds, leaves? they all needed to be cleaned up to make the place look inviting.

The food is horrible here. Especially the ribs. They say the best in the state or something like that, TRUST ME THEY ARE THE WORST IVE HAD EVER!!! The cavatappi four cheese noodle is probably the best on the menu with pulled pork, but for the price and what they give you for the amount of pork on them is a very small amount. Having driven by this place many times, we decided to try this place for lunch. We order the half rack of ribs with french fries, baked beans, and coleslaw. The ribs had a very sweet flavor and cook to perfection. The baked beans had a sweet flavor also and were not spicy, which my wife enjoyed the baked beans. The coleslaw had a unique flavor that tasted like celery salt was added. Overall it was a good BBQ. However, we have another far better BBQ restaurant that serves fresh kettle chips that are free. Now their BBQ is outstanding. The only negative was the outside which had trash in the bushes, and in the parking lot and needs attention to the flower buds. It gives the impression that management has failed to give the outside the proper attention. First impressions are very important to a restaurant. It can make or break a place.

Another great lunch with great service by Chad. We shared a #3 lunch $15, outstanding ribs and chicken breast, fries, bread, beans and cole slaw. Great coke products but they also have full bar. Did not have today but onion rings are some of the best in Colorado!

Been wanting to come here for a long time. The service was really great. However, the food was horrible. The ribs were extremely dry and super chewy. The brisket was weirdly shredded and tasted more like beef jerky. Super disappointing we were served what looked and tasted like 3 day old BBQ.

Jalapeño cheddar sausage! My favorite when I come here. The service was good but not great. It kind of felt like we were being rushed. It was 7pm on a Friday. The tots were kind of mushy this time. The smoked wings are my favorite though! I asked our service to try the wing sauces and we got the super hot one and the Thai heat. I might be wrong from the names of these. However, if you like garlic and a buffalo styled sauce, dunk those smoke wings in there!!! You won't regret it. Plenty of bbq sauce on the table. They have Gluten Free options and sauces. You won't feel left out if you have a sensitivity. Cornbread. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to these warm cornbread muffins with butter and a packet of honey. Pork ribs are a super good too. I'm not a big pork eater but I am impressed. Overall, this is a safe place to eat in the Parker area. It gets busy so make sure you have time to wait. Music is great and the lighting sets the tone for a great night with fried s and family. Great smoked wings and sausages at a reasonable portion and price.

HICKORY HOUSE IS THE BESTTT MOST ACCURATE INTERPRETATION OF BBQ AND SMOKEHOUSE FOOD EVER!! Hickory house sets the bar high for its competition. The atmosphere is classic smokehouse and the flavor and style is just impeccably what one would hope for when they go for BBQ. The staff was so kind and helped to answer questions. The wait time wasn't long, neither for being seated nor for being served. Overall, I loved Hickory House even as someone who typically doesn't go out to smokehouses. I even got a souvenir cup ‼

It's been 8 years since my last review. Still has great service, great tasting food at good price. 8 years back, full rack of baby back ribs were $12.99 and now, $19.99 for the HH special. Still comes with main sides and beans and coleslaw. Plus, you can smother up all the bbq sauces you can of original, bold and spicy! There are twice as much offering of draft beers and still awesome HH drink menu prices. My baby back ribs were bbq'ed perfectly. One of those fall off the bones kind. Mouthwatering just writing about it.

The grilled chicken sandwich is one of the best sandwiches anywhere, the flavor from the grill comes through every time. The burgers are pretty solid as well, always a good option. The service is still really hit or miss but when we get a server that recognizes us it is great, unfortunately, that doesn't happen every time.

Kilian was amazing! Food was good too. Laughter was the best! Next time I'm Colorado I'm coming back.

The ambiance was country style seating with very old uncomfortable chairs. We were squeezed into a corner of the room with us smashed into the wall. Once the man seated next to us left that left us a bit more room to move the table out a bit. The waiter was pleasant and friendly and informative of the menu. For one they did not have sweet tea. What barbecue place does not serve sweet tea? This was a major disappointment. The food was not great tasting. The ribs had sauce already on them and the sauce was not good. If you have to smother your ribs or smoked meat with sauce then it's not well prepared meat. There was already sauce on the table so I didn't expect sauce on the meat. The brisket did not have any flavor and was cold when I got it. It was pulled brisket and not sliced brisket. The smoked wings were very good and I loved the hot sauce that came with the wings it was delicious. The fried pickles were also what I did not expect as they were made with corn meal which was a nice surprise and they were cut vertically like long stalks instead of circular chips. I don't know that I would recommend this place as the appetizers were better than the main course.

We had Hickory House from Parker d a corporate event for us July 28. The entire process was great from the first interaction with Paul to tge day of event with Kaitlyn and crew. We went back and fourth a couple of times over the menu and landed on a menu in our price range. Tge arrived as scheduled, set up the buffet and cooked the food so we started our lunch right on time. The Steak was marinaded perfectly. Tge chef on tge grill was doing yeomans work, as it was hot and he was over a hot grill. We had Skirt Steak as our entree and it was all cooked on site to order and perfect. Our sides complemented the steak with a tossed salad, au gratin potatoes, baked beans and dinner rolls. The service was impeccable and the staff was great. We do event similar to this from time to time. It is hard for a catering company to have a excellent product when preparing food for more than 150 people. I have to say the food was of the best catering we have ever had for an evet like this. I would highly recommend Hickory House and will certainly visit the brick and mortar in Parker soon

The BBQ is second to none around here. Very good service, feel free to split an order. The staff is friendly, answers question and attentive. The ambiance is casual log cabin is h. Yep, I'll be back.

We have been coming to Hickory House in Parker for decades. Birthday parties, family dinners, regular dinners this was always our place to go. The food has been not as great the last couple years but we still loved going there. Today, we were having a family dinner with grandparents. Called ahead for seating at 1:30 for a 5:30 seating. Gal on the phone was great. Explained that we had some elderly folks with us, so could they put us down for inside tables, no picnic tables on deck. Sure, no problem. Arrive at 5:30 and they try and seat us at picnic table. Umm no thank you. Ok. "We think it'll be 15-20 minute wait." 50 minutes, and inquiring if the two four-tops at the front could be put together "(insert eye roll) I'll have to ask the manager" and we are finally seated. Our waiter Zach was nice enough and very chatty but kinda scattered. We should have just ordered everything when he first came to our table. Drinks took 20 minutes and then finally he came to take our dinner order. Food came pretty quickly thankfully. Never got one item we asked for. No silverware on table. Had to ask twice for silverware. Ribs were lean but tender. Pulled pork sandwich was good. fried catfish was pretty decent. However it took us 2.5 hours for dinner. From our call ahead seating to actually walking out door. We've never had such a bad experience here. But the customer experience left a really bad taste. Can't say we will be back anytime soon.

Probably a great place if you're not Asian. 3 times in a row already we got seated in the back patio when there were plenty of tables available up front. The patio is covered but still drafty and cold. All 3 times we had to request to be reseated up front. You might think oh maybe it's on rotation but no. 4 tables after us all got sat in front. We know because we got unobstructed view to the host stand. When we brought up discrimination to the manager, the manager just denied any possibility and said all his staff is nice and sweet. Furthermore, 3 tables that sat down after us got served before us. Sad. We've been coming here for many years and have taken many friends here. The last couple years we just simply felt unwelcomed in the establishment.

Solid rib eye, they cooks the steaks as ordered, ribs are usually tender and moist. Decent beer selection and the wait staff is very friendly.

Very bad services, order brisket and get home and check it's pulled pork, altered baked potato, cold food, wings prepared yesterday and heated today... very bad. Last time we ordered here!

This is a poor attempt at bbq. It's not brisket, it's pot roast with bbq sauce on it. They claim to have the "best ribs in Colorado" which was awarded sometime during the 90s. Ribs were very dried, and loaded with dry bbq sauce. Too sugary. .

Always like going in and having the best double burger in town. The thing that's missing is a mic so the blonde manager can sing some 80s songs which would entertain the guest/customers. I heard her voice is unforgettable

This was a reoccuring restaurant people name dropped when it came to BBQ recommendations and it does have the massive "best in CO" sign out front that you can't miss from Parker Rd. We decided as quirky/hole in the wall as it looks, we might as well find out how great the food is. We had a place like this called Henry's High Life where we lived previously that has a diamond in the rough vibe with its no frills appearance but fantastic ribs. However Hickory House topped Henry's right off the bat for us in that the parking was easier, the restaurant was larger and less cramped, less of a drive from where we live, far less time to wait to be seated, and a better drink menu. In terms of the ribs, Hickory was also a clear winner. You don't even need a knife here; the meat comes off easily and is sauced perfectly. I'm a half rack gal usually but I slammed down a full rack by myself easily in no time. The only negative we had was the service was pretty slow and all over the place. We saw people seated the same time as us get their food 30 mins earlier then we even got to put in our order. We saw other tables also seated the same time as us who didn't even get their food until we were leaving! The food and what you get for the price is a great deal but if the staff could pace out the serving a bit better (don't know if the food's taking long to cook or there are just so many patrons to serve?) this place would be a 5/5 for me.

I was not impressed. The serving sizes were very small for the prices charged and the food was mediocre at best. The ribs had little to no meat on them and the pulled pork was tough and grisly. The smoked wings are actually chicken legs that they push up to appear as drumets. They are dark meat instead of white meat, of which I am not a fan. The manager stated that all of it was like that from what they served. The place is busy and I can't figure out why, unless they come for the homemade onion rings. The wait staff works hard to clear the tables and people continue to come. This was my second visit and I held off writing a review because I thought maybe I had come on a bad day on my previous visit, but now I know it's just a place to avoid.

Came to this place about 4 years ago when my son started school here. Loved it then in my pre-Yelp days so we thought we'd try it again. I have to say the ribs were disappointing but the sides were all great! The garlic bread reminded me of Sizzlers, the rings reminded me of a better version than the bloomin onion and the mac and cheese was so creamy! We had the sweet potato tots but they were a bit soggy. I don't think we'll be back but the outdoor patio was nice if you want to sit outside but still be covered.

What a great place for the best ribs in Colorado! We had a great meal and started off with their delicious onion rings and then had their ribs and brisket and pulled pork dinner! Fantastic!
