"Noelle’s speakeasy may not require you to say “fragile” to get in, but that would be a missed opportunity for its A Christmas Story-inspired pop-up experience, Ralphie’s Christmas. Scenes from the film come to life throughout the space with a little added help from menu items like crispy duck fried rice and homemade fudge. The drinks add to the theme with cocktails like the Drink Your Ovaltine made with Bailey’s chocolate and vodka, and the Fraa-Gee-Lay served in a tall glass fashioned after the infamous leg lamp. The pop-up runs through January 8." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones
"Might be wise to save the drinking for after you’ve found the Hidden Bar at Noelle — locating it has confused more than a few patrons. (Hint: Just ask the hostess at Makeready, the hotel’s restaurant.) On weekend nights, this small, swanky spot fills with revelers catching the eye of strangers or groups sharing one of the large format drinks that announce their arrival via sparklers." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones, Eater Staff
"The Shining’s infamous Overlook Hotel has taken residence at Noelle’s Hidden Bar until October 31, bringing to life scenes from the movie including Danny Torrance’s typewriter and manuscript, the Grady sisters, and the “here’s Johnny!” door set. Drinks at the bar mirror the theme — the Red Rum with coconut rum, pinot noir, and habanero tincture is a standout. Room 237 is open Sunday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to midnight and Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones
"After Swift’s final bow, head downtown to begin again. Finding the Hidden Bar in downtown’s Noelle Hotel is almost as hard as decoding messages in a Swift song." - Kellie Walton
"Hidden Bar is the very hush-hush fittingly Christmasy speakeasy inside Noelle, and they’re doubling down with that festive holiday spirit by hosting Miracle — a nation-wide Christmas-themed pop-up cocktail bar. The pop-up bar began in 2014 in New York City, and has since expanded to 90 locations internationally. The partnership with Noelle is the first Miracle experience in Nashville. When it opens the day after Thanksgiving — Friday, November 23 at 4 p.m., expect kitschy holiday décor, a fun playlist, holiday cocktails, and “the nostalgic energy of the best office party you’ve ever been to.” Holiday cocktails are created and contributed by Scott Baird, from Trick Dog in San Francisco. Drinkables include a tequila-based option with pear brandy dubbed “And a partridge in a pear tree”, and other seasonally-inspired names like Christmas carol barrel, and a snowball old fashioned made with gingerbread bourbon. The holiday cheer pop-up continues until December 31." - Delia Jo Ramsey
