I’ve been walking past this restaurant/lounge for a while and finally decided to check it out this week to see what it’s really about. Since they aren’t vegan- or vegetarian-friendly, I wasn’t able to try the food, so my experience was mostly focused on the drinks, atmosphere, and overall vibe. The seating area is nice, spacious, and has a groovy feel — it honestly reminded me a bit of Portland. The space feels comfortable, and they even have two bathrooms, which is always a plus. On weekends, it definitely seems popular; every time I’ve walked by, it’s been packed. That said, the drinks for wine are pricey. Beer is about average at around $7, but the wine feels overpriced. “For some” Paying $15-17 for a glass of wine — makes it hard to justify when there are many good place around but my choice was Hide and Seek. The atmosphere is enjoyable, but there are a few quirks about the crowd and culture that didn’t fully click with me, yet. August is a nice bartender, so remember the name of your bartenders. “Important” I might visit again for the vibe, Updated: I may two visit will have to recommend it.

🌟🌟🌟🌟 Good Coffee Food 🌟🌟🌟 A cozy and beautifully designed café with very comfortable seating and a great atmosphere. The coffee is excellent, and they offer freshly made sandwiches as well. Perfect for meeting up with friends and enjoying a relaxed time.

Hide and Seek in Brooklyn has a great-looking space with a stylish vibe that initially draws you in. The staff truly stand out—friendly, welcoming, and full of great personality, which made the experience pleasant from the start. Drinks were okay, nothing bad but nothing memorable either. On a Friday night, the place did get busy, but the music didn’t match the energy you’d expect. The DJ selection could definitely be better, as it seemed to affect the crowd and how long people stayed. With improved music, this spot has real potential.

The perfect place to have a very "New York Moment" where everything is terrible but you stop in to a cafe/bar to relax and find the service and atmosphere are fantastic. Gabby and August are gems! Just going to suggest to add some lights outside/at the doors to let people know where it is/that it's open later. I passed by it twice trying to find it again tonight.

Love the vibe here, and the bartenders are all super dope, but the Wifi is terrible. I know it technically turns into a bar at night, but many people come here to do work, so the internet cutting out every 5 or so minutes is certainly not productive for that crowd. Id give this place 5 stars otherwise because the ambience and decor is great. Such a cozy feel.

great atmosphere but drinks are TOO EXPENSIVE FOR ANY BAR. glass of wine at 15 dollars is wayyyyyyy too expensive. staff fine but not very friendly. this place is a fine night out but brooklyn should be a good place on a budget (also with how far this is from the city) and this place is NOT IT. i’ve been to much friendlier and nicer bars that have WAYYYYY better prices!!!!!! don’t get duped here.

Such a hidden gem, surprised that it is not way more packed - been here twice now and always has seating. Large space in the back and has board games. Cafe has lots of teas, coffees, sandwiches, salads, alcohol, etc. the sandwich and salad were incredible! (Kale Cesar & the turkey Dijon)

I’ve been here on multiple occasions, not only for the incredibly cozy, laid back aesthetic and interior vibe, but for the duality of bar and cafe…That being said, the bartenders/barista really make or break the experience. There was a dark haired man with a beard, and glasses the first time I visited. He was welcoming, well-versed and very pleasant — a professional bartender. The second time I visited, a person with fair skin, tattoos, piercings and a cleanly-shaved head made me the most incredible iced vanilla latte in the afternoon. My recent encounters have been far less charming. A blonde bartender with bangs incredulously eyed my id, muttered something under her breath, and then used a jigger to fill my glass of wine— nothing wrong with this except for the fact she under-filled the jigger each time. A similar experience I had before feeling the need to leave this review, the bartender with a short dark pixie cut chastised the patron before me for their lack of tip on one drink, and told them to order something cheaper if they can’t afford it—bad vibes! In hospitality you win some you lose some; chastising adults won’t make them more inclined to tip you or make them want to tip the next! I then watched as she also followed the blonde bartender’s suit and under-filled the jigger each time to pour my glass of wine. I guess you have to catch the right workers on the right days lol, it’s a mixed bag. Also no happy hour on fridays, instead opting for sun-thurs. Interesting.!

Moved back to NYC from LA and was searching for a coffee shop in the neighborhood that was laptop friendly, dog friendly, but also a chill atmosphere just to kick back. But what keeps me coming back are the people. Kasey makes me feel at home. The best!!!

I recently came back here for drinks. It was far less busy in the evening. I had a glass of wine, which at $14 (as of Jan '25), I felt was pretty standard pricing for NYC. My friend and I split the charcuterie board. For $18, you can pick three meats and cheeses. We opted for prosciutto, soppressata, and Brie. It also comes with a few crostini and jam. I was a little disappointed at the quality of the meats, but overall, it wasn't bad. If I came back for drinks, I'd probably try to come during happy hour and just skip the food.

The cutest coffeeshop/bar/lounge in Greenpoint. Came here in the evening and it was such a spacious, relaxing vibe with beautiful decor and a wall full of plants. I will definitely be back.

So the first two times I've gone here, I've had a really great experience between the bartenders, the drinks and the music. But the last two times I've tried to go, they have been closed even though their hours say they should be open. I'm hoping that their business is doing well, but it has been frustrating to go with a group and then quickly have to find other plans.

We stumbled upon this place as we were waiting for our charms we made across the street to be ready. Me and the girlies decided to stop by for a drink. The bartender was so nice and sweet! Had a nice conversation with her as she made our drinks. This spot is so cute! I would work here every day if I could. Tons of space for you to sit and enjoy your drink/food and do work as well. They also have lots of games to play too! Which we definitely played Highly recommend you checking out this spot. It's a vibe!!! I mean look at all the colors and greenery.

We arrived around 6pm to get some work done, and this spot has quickly become one of my favorites. It's spacious, has WiFi, and offers a great variety of drinks, from coffee to cocktails. I ordered a hot cider to warm up, and it was so deliciously sweet. Plus, there was no line when we got here, so service was super fast. I couldn't gatekeep this spot!

Cool find, lots of couches make this coffee shop by day/bar by night a relaxing place. In addition to your espressos and lattes, they have some delicious teas (tried the hibiscus strawberry) and organic juices. The walls and ceiling feature a wild, colorful mural. The servers couldn't have been nicer, allowing my desperate sister to charge her phone. A little oasis on busy Manhattan Ace.

Found this place by accident on a rainy night last week. Was looking for a place to grab a cocktail and relax. As soon as you walk in, the vibe is super chill, the music is incredible, and the place just makes you exhale. Unfortunately, they were out of the Tea to make their specialty hot toddy, but the drinks we ordered were excellent. It wasn't crowded. It really was just a chill place. I would go here to do a little work, or study, or even have a little date. The next time I'm in the neighborhood, I will be back.

Oh you want matcha? Well are you prepared to have the best matcha of all time? Had I known I would be craving their speciality drink days on end, I would have bought my order in bulk! It something with blueberry, not quite sure because I didn't take a picture of their menu at the time. Will definitely go back! The service was straightforward and kind, what every NY-er dreams of. Ambiance was very chill and I appreciated the comfy sofa seating.

This place is a vibe! I loved everything about it from the incredible design and art to the coffee. Go early to snag a good spot if you want to get some work done and relax. The later it gets, the louder it is. On weekends, it turns into a party with a live DJ and they serve alcohol. A full coffee/drink menu, some quick bites, and desserts on the menu. I went one afternoon and ordered a delicious latte. I sat on one of the colorful couches admiring the art inside. The staff is friendly day or night. What a gem! Well worth a visit.

Very cute cafe/ bar! Great coworking space firing the day and turns into a bar at 4pm. I got the "phony Negroni" it's a pre bottled mocktail and it was very good! I don't come to Williamsburg often but would definitely visit this place again if I'm in the area.

This place is a precious gem that I wished only a few knew about lol . I know it won't always stay that way but man it's just great . I'm not a bar kind of person . I like comfort and this place gives me a nice drink and comfort . The couches the decor the art work the big wall with all the plants and lights absolutely precious . The workers there were so chill and sweet . Me and my best friend just sat and had a drink and talked for 3 hours . It's low key . And I think it would be a lovely date spot too . It's a cafe till 4 pm then it becomes a bar . Love love love . My drink was also very delicious I really enjoyed it . I had the hibiscus margarita . And the music was impeccable. It was just lovely

I came here to catch up with some friends, and I must say Hide & Seek is a neighborhood gem. A really nice, chill vibe somewhere between a bar and a cafe. Not too loud or dark with zero attitude. The bartender, Cassandra, was as welcoming and friendly as could be, and she made some excellent drinks: a great manhattan (off menu), and margaritas made perfectly to taste. The food was good to boot! Highly recommended!

Amazing space and vibes. This is my favorite place to work from during the day and then have one of their original cocktails as my day winds down. From the service, to the bites to eat, and all of the art! A must go! DJ's on the weekends too as it transitions to a comfy lounge

Stumbled across this shop recently and loved the decor so much I came back on another occasion and had a great cup of coffee and a croissant. Service was excellent and it is a mellow place to relax and sip some coffee.

The empanadas & baked goods are to dieeee for. They have WiFi & you can definitely get shit done! Would recommend & definitely come again. The service is good & the decor is very aesthetically pleasing to look at

Cute place. Went in while waiting for appointment at Brooklyn charm. No AC and only one worker so took a while. Ordered coffee, which was great. Also ordered a quiche and empanada. Quiche came out and it was freezing on inside, but I was in a rush so sucked it up. Empanada came out, frozen inside. When I brought it back up to the counter the worker said "well you already touched it." How would I know it's cold if I didn't try to eat it??? When I said we don't even want it anymore because the quiche was also cold she was like well I can search for a new one and heat it up again. Did not offer my money back or appologize. The worker brought over the new empanada, which ended up being chipotle chicken, we ordered the spinach. I am vegetarian so couldn't even eat it. She also brought over a fresh quiche, again cold. We decided to walk out. Don't think staff handled it appropriately or did anything to fix the situation, except make it like it was my fault. Won't return. Waste of 20 bucks

Love the ambiance and vibe of this lil "hidden" Brooklyn gem. Love the artwork and wall murals, the comfy couches, kid friendly, board games and lil nooks and crannies for working, relaxing or hanging out with a friend.

I don't usually post reviews, however barista refused to remake my drink after I politely asked. Ordered an iced vanilla matcha but could only taste vanilla. Also matcha not mixed well. Beautiful space but disappointing service.

Brian is a great bartender and the vibe here is great! Went on a Saturday night and the DJ was playing good music. Highly recommend!

The interior of this place is to die for! So cute and a nice place to sit and do work. It's not super crowded either which I love.

Overall rating: 5 I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE. I already knew I was going to like it because I'm a huge fan of 4,5,6. But I didn't realize how much I was going to be obsessed with it. The plants, the artwork, everything. I love that they have QR codes for each piece of art to find the artist. I love the space & greenery. I'm curious to see what it's like at night, but I'm very happy in the day. Knowing that I live in south Brooklyn and the hour commute it takes to get here, I will still be coming back when I need a new change of scenery. Highly, highly recommend.

Great ambiance, nicely decorated, and groovy music. Perfect place for a hot cup of coffee or Chai Latte (my fav) and breakfast or lunch but between meetings-or for remote work. Love the wall to wall mural!

This is a very cozy cafe with plenty of seating, good beverages, and courteous staff. I haven't tried much on the menu yet. But this place has a very comfortable atmosphere to hang out for a little while.

Great colorful and unique coffee shop in Greenpoint with a nice selection of pastries and such. The barista's have always been friendly!
