The Best Restaurants in New Orleans’s Carrollton-Riverbend Neighborhood | Eater New Orleans

"Family recipes power Mukbang, a third generation business from Kim Nguyen and her husband and partner Luu Tran. Tran concocts the sauces for the Viet-Cajun seafood boils in flavors like tamarind garlic butter, flaming Cajun and Mukbang, a lemon forward butter sauce with a top-secret spice rub that gives platters of boiled and steamed shrimp, lobster, snow crab legs, blue crabs, clams, mussels, and fish its distinctive tang." - Beth D’Addono

Google
Solid 4 stars for this restaurant for food. Seafood was good quality and fresh. Flavor was delicious and service was good. We ordered the calamari it was okay. Garlic noodles was delicious. Blue crabs were excellent and the taste of New Orleans platter was enough for 3 of us to share for the main dish. Crab cakes were yummy and had plenty of crab meat. I would come here again next time I’m in New Orleans.

This place is the real deal if you want seafood boil. This is our first visit to New Orleans and we found this place. We highly enjoyed the food and definitely would come back. The staff was so friendly and the food was so delicious. A must have if you are looking for this type of food. They were very quick and attentive making the experience a 10 out of 10 for us. Give this place a shot and you won't be disappointed.

Google
My opinion is kind of a mixed bag for this place. The happy hour oysters and $6 pints are fantastic, but the Crawfish etouffee tastes like it had ketchup in it, not the best I've had nor even in the contention, I would expect better from a place in New Orleans the wait staff was super friendly and helpful, I would go again. I didn't get crawfish, but that will be a good reason to go back. The atmosphere is kind of corporate, with canned tasteless music. if you're just looking for 15 lb of spicy crawfish to-go, this place is great, or the happy hour if you happen to be free between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m.

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! I am a regular at Boil House (I typically dine here twice a month). Yesterday my family and I had a TERRIBLE experience! The amount food we usually get was not the same and they also added a 15% service charge that we were not aware of (we also tipped 20%). Of course we spoke to the manager about how disappointed we were about the amount of food we received with our seafood boil and she just shrugged us off. If it wasn’t for us already eating our food we would have left. We spent a total of $237 for 3 people (excluding the tip we left). I believe they are trying to tax people because of Mardi Gras and they know the tourist won’t know any better. My advice if you’re visiting is to stay away from here unless you want to spend $75 for 1 corn, 2 potatoes, 10 crawfish and a baby cluster of snow crab! They just lost out on regular customers, we send people here all the time. I will be spreading the word not to go here! You’ll probably do better going to Fiery Crab instead!

Went for the crawfish boil and gumbo. This is a "must go to" if you haven't been. Staff and owner very friendly and enjoy having conversations with their customers. Other menu items looked pretty good also.

We were in town for a few days and craving a seafood boil, so we decided to try this restaurant. To get there, you can take either the 47/48 trolley or the 32 bus from Bourbon-Canal Street (we tried both). We were seated right away, but I highly recommend making a reservation, especially on a busy Friday night. Katie was amazing—she was thorough in asking what we wanted and very knowledgeable about the customers’ needs and wants. We started with the charbroiled oysters, which were buttery, garlicky, and cheesy, served with bread—absolutely delicious! I also tried their blonde ale and hurricane, both of which were fantastic. For our main course, we shared the Taste of New Orleans platter, which was more than enough for two people, especially if you ask for extra fixings like boiled eggs. Overall, it's a great place, so if you are in New Orleans, this place is a must-try for seafood lovers!

Everything SLAPPED!!! Damone was a GREAT SERVER! He made a MAD margarita too!!😍 The Charbroiled crab legs were AMAZING! The best crab legs I’ve ever had and on my 30th bday, it was perfect! Everything was great, the wings, gumbo, and parm fries!

My first time in New Orleans was looking for the best seafood boil around and I have to say it was worth the drive from Florida. The food was fresh, flavorful, overall excellent 💯

Yelp
Hieux Boil Seafood House was one of my favorite stops in New Orleans. It was recommended by a server from a different restaurant we visited. We came on Monday night. Katie, the server, was the only server working that night. Even though she was so busy, she still accommodated the customers and ensured every table had everything they needed. She chatted with us briefly, and we bonded that we were both from the Bay Area. I ordered the Cajun Alfredo, and most of the people in my group got the Shrimp boil. I loved the Cajun Alfredo. The pasta was overcooked, but the sauce had great flavor and a little kick. The crabcake was also delicious. Everything tasted fresh. My group also ordered a shrimp boil. Katie recommended that we get the low heat instead of medium; she said the Louisiana spice level might be different from the Bay Area's. My sister was so happy she ordered low heat instead of medium because she thought the low heat was very spicy. My group enjoyed the shrimp boil; they all thought it was flavorful. The restaurant was small, so it could get crowded, especially when busy. The parking lot was also small, but there was street parking available. Overall, Hieux Boil Seafood House's food and service were terrific.

Yelp
Once again my food was great. Let's start with the highs. I had the Cajun classic boil, char grilled half Dungeness crab cluster and char, grilled oysters. All of my items were phenomenal. Our server created us delicious margaritas and made blue Bayou virgin drinks for our girls. Now, for the lows. All the fried food my friend had was extremely mid. The fish was supposed to be catfish but it didn't taste as if it were. Lol call us spoiled Californians I guess, the garlic butter noodles, swam in oil and we're not flavorful at all. I appreciate the prior to ordering and prior to entering the establishment and very clear print that it says no refunds or returns of drinks. So at least you know what you're getting yourself into.

Yelp
Hieux Boil Seafood House was our last stop before leaving NOLA, and it proved to be a great choice. This casual seafood boil spot became of the our favorite restaurants out of the ones we tried while in town. To our luck, we walked in right before the place filled up. Our server not only gave us a rundown of the menu but also gave us a rundown of New Orleans. She recommended activities and restaurants that locals enjoy and told us to steer clear of the tourist traps. We ended up ordering the House Bucket Combo, which included shrimp, crawfish, snow crab legs, sausage, corn, and potatoes in the Caribbean flavor. We also had a dozen raw oysters, which were plump and succulent. The seafood combo was delicious and just the right amount for the two of us. While the food was great, I have to admit it didn't quite beat the Viet Cajun we've had in Houston, but it came pretty close. Overall, the food was tasty, the service was excellent, and I'm really glad we made this stop before heading out!

Yelp
I am a tourist from CA and am very picky when it comes to seafood boil. This place was recommended by locals for the yummy food and great drinks and I mean come on who can leave Louisiana without trying a seafood boil. I really enjoyed the dish we got, the shack with the house sauce which is all of them together. It was a little sweet with great flavor. I got low heat which isn't spicy at all. I recommend getting medium, it's like hot Cheeto spicy. The meat was slightly over cooked but not bad. I really appreciate the service provided by Josh (J.D) he made an effort to check on us in a timely fashion and was always so sweet. They were super booked and he was still on it. Thanks JD!

Yelp
Absolutely great seafood boil joint. Had spicy crawfish and shrimp, came with a big group of hungry folks and everyone loved the food. Very nice staff and owner was friendly toward us.

Yelp
Can you go wrong with food in New Orleans? Perhaps. I've never had a bad food experience in the city. Lucky me! My favorite uncle picked me up during a break from my conference. I said I wanted a Poboy and we ended up at Hieux. I ordered the shrimp Poboy and cajun fries. The food was cooked to order and fresh. The restaurant wasn't busy at all and we were able to order quickly and be seated. We sat on the outside patio area because the weather was so nice! I'd recommend this seafood house and I'd return. Friendly and helpful staff as well. Check them out.

Yelp
Our waitress was so friendly and informative, I wish I could remember her name. The food was really delicious, huge portions and cooked to perfection! I had the classic boil, chose low heat ( waitress recommendation) and glad I did. I like hot, but low heat was plenty hot. I also upgraded to headless shrimp for $4 more and it was worth it, more shrimp! My boyfriend had his with the crab claws, medium and it was pretty hot! Also delicious. It was quiet and not too much atmosphere, but for price, food quality and service, I would highly recommend!

Yelp
The food was great. The server Josh was excellent! Helped us make the right decisions on our order.

Yelp
We shared the Taste of New Orleans and it was great! It came with crawfish, blue crabs, shrimp, corn and potatoes. I have eating restrictions and I dont't sausage, but they were wiling to make the boil without it which I really appreciated since some places do not so this is a great place to go if you want to be able to try a nola seafood boil without sausage! They also substituted in extra corn instead of sausage and I really appreciated the gesture. We went with the BOIL house sauce which is a combination of all of the sauces and Hieux Boil Seafood House's special house and it was absolutely delicious and the sauce can make such a big difference when it comes to seafood boils. I loved the food here and I appreciated the team's efforts! They also provide gloves, a bin, and bibs to keep everything clean and neat while your eating which I really appreciated.

Yelp
HIEUX Boil Seafood House 4077 Tulane Ave, New Orleans, LA 70119 If you know me well, then it's obvious that I am a crawfish fiend! The crawfish, crawfish beignets, and brussel sprouts were bussing! I would definitely come back if I'm in town again. #Tonylameats #hieuxboilseafoodhouse #neworleansla #crawfish #seafood

Yelp
Got 3pounds of crawfish house boil with medium heat. All I can say it that the seasoning was PERFECTLY DELICIOUS! Crawfish were fresh. They were great size too (when in season.) $8.99 per pound through the Uber eats app. They also included a bib and gloves. Will order again whenever I am back in NOLA!
google avatar

Yelp
NOLA is the place for good food. We wanted to go to another spot but it was so crowded people were pouring into the street. So we looked up seafood near me on Yelp. And jackpot! This place came up. I saw a few people eating there who were locals and they looked like they knew good food. I ordered a hurricane to drink which was just ok (especially for NOLA). That didn't matter because once the smoked oysters, crawfish etoufee, crab clusters and the crawfish beignets hit the table it was on! The smoked oysters were so good we had to order another round. This food was the beeeeeesssst!!!!! The servers tip is included in the bill but you can add a extra for good service. We had good service and the food came so fast!

Yelp
The service was excellent, I sat at the bar and the bar attendant was friendly and tended to my needs with a smile. The ambiance is nice and clean. With those 2 service and ambiance I give 5 stars. The food was good but nothing to gawk over. First appearance it looked a bit like dirty sauce. I ordered the shack with 2 extra boiled eggs and hot. Proportioned wise it was good, but I have had better when it comes to boils at other establishments. For the food I give it 3 stars because it was good but not the greatest. I also ordered a drink called the hurricane that was excellent. If you can make me feel a lil woozy after one drink you get 5 stars for $14. My overall experience was good, but I probably won't return because there are better options for a boil in my opinion.

Yelp
Food delicious. Ambience, who ever is the dj just has the right music without over doing it. Our waitress was very friendly and engaging regarding food, spice level, and what goes well together. Wish I can remember her name, but she was awesome.

Yelp
Service was amazing! We got Jacklyn as our server and she was so nice and welcoming, she offered her own favorite dip for our fried kalamari, checked on us to make sure the spice level was good for us also giving the option to make it spicier, and replacing our gloves when we ripped them with our nails lol! A very nice thoughtful place with tasty food, the snow crab was awesome and they had fresh lobster! You can tell how good the restaurant is from the smells on the outside, ughhhhhh would so go again !

Yelp
This was our first stop on our foodie girls trip and baby, we weren't disappointed! We all ordered light stuff because we were waiting on someone to join us. I didn't catch our server's name but he reminded us of one of Beyoncé's dancers, Honey Balenciaga! So cute and so sweet; very accommodating. I ordered the gumbo (cause why else am I in NOLA??), swamp bites (alligator) and chargrilled oysters! Their oysters were the best I've had ever! And the gumbo was delicious. The bang bang shrimp packed a lot of flavor. The swamp bites were good (co-signed by my vegan friend!) and the sauce that came with it was creamy and tangy. To give you perspective on the crawfish beignets, think of a red lobster cheddar bay biscuit with seafood in it! Comfort food to the max. I wish he had time to go back so I could try a seafood boil. It was slow at the time of our visit. There were only a few others there. But the music was great and service was quick and efficient. They have inside and patio seating.

Yelp
Although we realize crawfish season ended last month; we had a hankering to try a new place. Hieux--pronounced HUGH--is a cool spot. Indoor and outdoor seating, free parking lot and a nice mostly male staff. Our waiter was awesome and and attentive. My daughter knew another of the waiter's who gave us great drink recommendations. They have a small but workable bar and a diversity of non-alcoholic drinks too. Cute, kind of beachy looking place with painted walls. There were folks of all ages and families there--still a nice quiet crowd. Honestly, the crawfish was a little over cooked. Oysters, delish and the fish and salad were too. We will go back and you should give them a try too.

Yelp
This was our last meal before flying out and what a great way to end our trip in NOLA. We got a seafood boil with head on shrimp, crawfish and snow crab. We also got the chargrilled oysters, raw oysters and gumbo. The chargrilled oysters didn't feel as heavy as what we had been eating the entire weekend, they had a nice light breading but was still flavorful. The raw oysters tasted fresh and were pretty big (standard for the raw oysters in New Orleans). Our server Katie was an absolute delight. I would have kidnapped her and taken her back to California if I could!

Yelp
Crawfish was requested for dinner and after some googling, Hieux Boil came up as the best option near our Airbnb. I made a reservation but it seemed we got there early in the dinner hours on a Wednesday, as there were still tables available for walk ins. The outside area looked nice but we opted to eat inside. Our server J was awesome and took great care of us throughout the evening. We started with drinks (beer and cocktail) and a half order of oysters, which came out hot and we're delicious. My bf was thinking about getting a pound of crawfish for himself (I'm not a fan) and J suggested starting with a bucket and then seeing how he felt afterwards. You pick a flavor and heat level, we got medium which I found to be pretty mild and would go up a level next time. The bucket was perfect to split between the two of us and we really enjoyed it. I'm knocking a star because the side of bread I got was otherworldly (please don't butter it) and the cocktail was super sweet, but I'd be back.

Yelp
Katie is an amazing waitress, the food is amazing, dont let this one get by!! Seriously I am extremely picky about crawfish or shrimp and this is true cajun! I love this place

Elizabeth A.

Yelp
Soooo good! We got "the shack" bucket with shrimp, snow crab legs, andouille sausage, potato and corn with Cajun garlic butter my husband never eats shrimp and he went to town on this. Katie was our server and she was friendly, helpful and guided us to have an awesome experience made for an awesome last dinner in Nola!
google avatar

Yelp
Katie and Amy were more than hospitable and very funny and nice. And the boil at medium was a good spice. We had raw oysters, chargrilled oyster and crab, and an amazing boil. Highly recommend

Yelp
They serve their crawfish Vietnamese style and it's very good. We like to order it hot with Cajun and garlic butter seasoning. The restaurant is small, but not cramped. There's also a lot of seating outside. The service we had was excellent too.

Yelp
Saturday we had family passing through the city and they wanted seafood boil so we decided to try Hieux. Our waiter greeted us while we were standing outside even though we were there a bit early. There's outdoor and indoor dining available. We sat inside, ordered as soon as they opened because we were hungry. Sorry but I failed at taking pics of all of the delicious food we ordered. Everything was a 10! Crawfish Etoufee, catfish basket, fried shrimp basket, and crab boil. Really appreciated the waiter going completely out of his way to find my earring that fell under the bench. The amazing food and customer service won me over and I'll definitely be back ready to slap on a bib and gloves to grub!

Hunter A.

Yelp
THE BEST GUMBO EVER!!! I saw good reviews on yelp already but we wanted to give the gumbo and seafood boil a try. Our server was so awesome. In Montana we can handle spice, in Louisiana we can't haha, so very glad our server recommended low heat. The place had plenty of tables for a Saturday night. So if you are looking for a last minute seafood boil, cannot recommend this place enough.

Yelp
This is the place for NOLA Seafood! We recently visited New Orleans and we had a severe hankerin' to try a seafood boil. We wanted the crawfish and shrimp the way we've seen them served up on TV food shows. I asked some locals for recommendations and they send us here and I am glad they did. It was a rainy, super humid (no surprise) day, but we really enjoyed being able to sit outside on the covered deck. The Bar Menu is extensive with average priced drinks. I opted for a ice cold beer to get me going. The food menu is large and has the expected PO-Boys and seafood baskets, appetizers, soups, salads and seafood prepped multiple ways. My attention was focused on the Boils and Buckets. Ask your server to explain how the boils are ordered. They also can tell you about the flavors and heat levels. What a hard decision! For the Buckets, you can choose from a variety of combos of seafood and extras. For the Boils, you select your seafood(s) in one pound increments, your flavor and then your heat (spice) level. My wife selected one pound of headless ($4 upcharge over head-on) in Garlic Butter and Low Heat, with a Side Caesar Salad ($6.75). I selected 2 pounds of crawfish and one pound of headless shrimp, in Boil House flavor and Medium heat. Then it happened! Servers brought out the salad and large metal pans loaded with seafood goodness covered our table. The aromas were to die for! My wife's salad was loaded with all the usual components of a Caesar salad with plenty of cheese. The perfectly flavored garlic butter shrimp are peel on, but easy to peel and comes with drawn butter for dipping. My crawfish and shrimp (also peel on) were combined and the spice blend was perfect. A side platter was provided for shells. My order would have been plenty for two people, but I ate it all. Some say it takes too much work to eat crawfish, but I enjoyed every moment. A lot of finger lickin' took place. We were so glad to have experienced this and recommend you also try it if you've never had it.
google avatar

Lia A.

Yelp
The customer service there was amazing! We are from Baltimore! They took the time to explain the difference between how spicy the food is in New Orleans to Baltimore spicy! lol it helped a lot. Our food was delicious and we had plenty of it. So if you're in New Orleans visit Hieux Boil Seafood House you won't be disappointed!!! The atmosphere was pleasant and the music was on point and not real loud.

Yelp
Walked in on a Wednesday evening for a late dinner. There was no need for a reservation, as there were a lot of tables available. We're from up north and wanted to experience some more regional southern delicacies. Our server was wonderfully polite, friendly, and helpful in guiding us through the menu. She rocked! Ordered the Cajun Classic seafood bucket. It comes with 1 lb crawfish, 1 lb shrimp, 1 sausage. 2 corn and 2 potatoes. It can feed one very hungry person or two moderately hungry people. I tried to tackle it all on my own, but sadly could not finish it all. The shrimp and crawfish were absolutely delicious. Rich with seasoning and full of flavor. The corn has absorbed the flavors which made it taste great. The rest of the bucket (potatoes and sausage) were good as well, but that's about when I started reaching my capacity. Be sure the use a bib, as this can be quite a messy adventure, but we'll worth the trip!

Yelp
My friends seen this spot in a ticktock video and we had to try it while visiting New Orleans. We were feeling for some sea food and this spot was definitely giving us good vibes We had the following -the taste of New Orleans -the shack -chargrilled dungeness crab -chargrilled snow crabs -fried calamari For drinks I had a mango margarita -Adios MF "Absolute Vodka, Bacardi Superior Rum, Tequila, Gordon's Gin, Bols Blue Curacao, Sour, Sprite" ( the drinks are so horrible we had to send it back, it taste like syrup) We order water that taste like PIPE or faucet water But the food was very good, it came out at the perfect time, nice and hot! For a quick bite to eat I do recommend

Yelp
Great service and one of the best Bloody Mary's I have had in New Orleans! Tip: Get the crawfish Hot their medium is very mild.

Yelp
Went yesterday for lunch 5/31/24 with co-workers. i had Dungeness crab cluster. With the sauce on the side.. 1 co-worker had charbroiled oysters, fried fish basket, the 2nd had gumbo and some kind of egg-roll. I will say the food was good. But the male server was uninterested in serving us. Very dry and not engaging. He was kind of dismissive in the way he communicated towards us. My co-worker made a comment that she see's why the place is empty. The owner appeared to be an older Asian woman who just stared at us. Did i say we were the only ppl there initially. A female server was a bit more engaging towards the end of our meal. The Ambiance needs updating. The benches had rips in the cushion on the interior and the exterior had flies every where and it was dirty. They charge 15% gratuity no matter your party size. I don't think i will return poor customer service and automotive gratuity is enough for me not return.

Yelp
Food was awesome service was great place was super small and crowded but hurricanes were strong so we didn't mind the wait would definitely recommend

Yelp
My friend and I were craving seafood boil and decided to try this location on Tulane Ave. The restaurant has a nice size patio where most guest were sitting as the inside part of the restaurant was pretty small. The restaurant was pretty busy so I was understanding of why service was slow. We had to requests for water 3 times before we received any. For our meals I ordered a side caesar salad and Asian wings to start. The Asian flavor is a sweet chili type sauce and I assumed the wings would've been coated in the sauce but it just comes on the side. We also tried a side of their house gumbo which was pretty good. The main thing I was excited to try was the snow crab legs. The crabs legs cost $35 had plenty of flavor and were very filling. My friend ordered the Cajun classic which was $31 and filled with crawfish, shrimp, corn, potatoes (swapped out the sausage for extra corn).

Yelp
Food seasoned like Mama. Boils are amazing. Get the Brussel Sprouts. They are a must have. Shout out to Amy and Bay Area native Katie. We will be back next year.

Yelp
In town for a few days and this was conveniently located near our hotel. Grabbed crawfish which was out of season and gulf shrimp. The restaurant was honest about the crawfish not being fresh but the flavors were very good. Would eat here again. We took our tray to go and the sever gave us gloves, saniwipes, extra napkins and everything else we needed to eat with. Great service.

Yelp
Atmosphere: 3 I'm not sure if it's always like this but the inside of the restaurant smells like it has poor ventilation because there is a lot of very pungent smells including the spices used in the cooking, smells of cleaners and air fresheners towards the bathrooms. It was also pretty dark inside in the early evening at around 6:30 so we decided to sit outside. I really wanted to love the outdoor seating but because the sun was setting, it was getting us in the eyes. We had trouble deciding a good table for us because there were 2 gas fire pits by the tables so we would get either too hot or had to face the sun. Eventually, we moved to a different table that worked the best for us. Portion: 4 I am not sure why our waiter told us that they were low on crawfish and that we could not build our own and that they could only do the buckets today. They're in season and they didn't seem busy. Our theory is that they were trying to up-sale us by telling us to choose something more expensive because as soon as my brother-in-law's girlfriend mentioned trying a different location of their's, the waiter went to "check" the kitchen. He returned to say it was ok to do the Build Your Own option to be only crawfish. Later on, I saw another table order it too. Once I received my 2 pounds of crawfishes, it was just enough for me! Flavors: 5 The flavors of the crawfish broil is phenomenal! I ordered 2 pounds of the crawfish with their house sauce and hot level spice! I can take a lot of heat and the hot level is just about right. If I lived around town, I would go for their max spiciness, but because I'm on vacation, I didn't want to risk it. The crawfish were really fresh and there is a lot of depth in the flavors! Best place to have crawfish! I would go their again for the crawfish. My experience with the "lack of crawfish" and scents in the restaurant were unfortunate. One suggestion I have for the establishment is that they should cut the crawfish's whiskers before cooking/serving. Another suggestion is to check in on us halfway to switch out our tin trays that held the shells.
google avatar

Yelp
Great quality, Freshness, meat of crawfish cảm of of shell extremely easy which means it was as fresh as can be! Oysters were a bit over cooked and shrunk up the oysters but still had flavorful amount in each bite! Service was excellent he was always checking on me every few minutes to see if I needed anything else! Totally would recommend and return on next trip to NOLA

Yelp
The restaurant is one that I've passed so many times on my way to work. I don't know how I haven't tried them before. I'm used to having a boil bag, but here they serve boil buckets! I ordered the Taste of New Orleans with 2 eggs added. It comes with - 1 Blue Crab - 1lb of crawfish - 1lb of shrimp - 2 corn - 2 potatoes I ordered my boil to be as spicy as they had. My only issue was that I didn't have a lot of juice for my seafood and bread, but honestly the flavor profile was amazing! I also HAVE to point out Chuck. He was my server for the night and when I tell you, he went above and beyond to ensure my food and drinks were perfect! He even got me juice to add to my bucket. Amazing. He deserves all the praises! He helped me pick out my order and he made my drink sweeter for me. Literally 10/10 with his goofiness and adding to the overall atmosphere of the restaurant

Yelp
This place was recommended by a local resident so I had high hopes. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed. Let's start with the positive. My daughter said the swamp bites were good. It was her first time trying alligator and she was pleased. However, the fried fish and shrimp were extremely bland. Absolutely no seasoning at all. The boiled seafood was even worse. The shrimp was over cooked and rubbery. I ordered garlic butter and Cajun mixed. It was horrible. Not even edible. We also had Alfredo pasta that was over cooked with a burnt crab cake. They also charge a fee to dine in and to dine out. To say I spent about $100, I was very dissatisfied.

Yelp
We ordered via grubhub so I can't comment on the service or ambiance (the driver was amazing though) but the food was fantastic. I've been to a dozen places on Long Island, New York but nothing ranks as high as this. Everything tasted amazing, everything had at least a little spice (even when asking for no spice) but it definitely added flavor to it. The only thing that wasn't the best was the crawfish beignets, as they were a bit too spicy for my friend. But they were fine for me!

Yelp
When visiting NOLA for Spring Break, seafood is an essential! However, when my group decided on a restaurant that looked unappetizing, I quickly used yelp and found this place... I tell you what, BEST DECISION WE MADE THAT DAY! Friendly greeting by multiple staff members on arrival, comfortable outdoor seating, and a simple but plentiful drink/food menu! Our server, Chuck, was the ! He helped our table select meals and drinks while showing us the upmost hospitality! Afterwards, we gave him a $20 tip on top of the gratuity charge which goes to show how great their staff was! The food was incredible and made our trip to NOLA complete! A must have meal if you're in NOLA!

Yelp
Amazing. The staff (Katie) was friendly and will help if you don't know how to eat it. Please come if you are not sure about coming.

Yelp
Went down on St. Patrick's Day and place was pretty busy but the manager stepped right in to help us and make sure we were taken care of. Great food, great service, definitely recommend. Love the Cajun crawfish potatoes corn and sausage on point.
