here is what you need to know before coming to this location it was a hit or miss experience and that appears to be the commonality of the reviews left here but I'm going to be a little merciful with my review on this one this location actually used to be called The Good night where I would come to watch basketball while drinking unique Dr pepper sugar cane original recipe on tap that had a unique crisp flavor to it and it made it nice unique spot well occasionally taking advantage of bowling and some of the other various games at that time they even had unique foods such as venison and other various meals and very hospitable customer service now let me bring it to today and how it varies here what's different is to have acts throwing they have various other games they expanded to the back a more professional meeting room bowling alley is still about the same and the bar area and dining area in the front is still the same with all the flat screen TVs with a stream whatever sports games you want to watch but no more Dr pepper original sugarcane on the tap so I settled for an $8 cherry slurpee And yes that is $8 Jerry icee slurpee so again choose wisely what you want here cuz again the pricing for here for the food and drinks and even the wings is going to be not the highlight of what you want to focus on but more so the advantage of the location to play games and bowl and enjoy sports games that being said The staff were friendly hospitable gave me the business card and info about the meeting room and how to reserve it and willing to increase the volume on a MBA game finals I wanted to watch they're already wrapping up for tonight after a private party and that appears to be another pattern here is they don't really have a way and they're not really set up to put out wind or closed to the public for private events where you can book the entire place for a private event in addition while the customer staff were doing the best keep the place cleaned and were cleaning up to wrap up for the night and definitely kept a place spotless and clean on my experience there they did let some people know who arrived just after 9:00 that they were not doing food anymore some people left some people stayed and then there were some people just enjoying gaming and bowling it was a very lax crowd tonight for Wednesday night here which again I was fine with and enjoying my drink and NBA game and getting info about coordinating to preserve a room at being said I can see though where some of the complaints and then some of the compliments you come through in this place cuz they also have specials on Sunday where kids eat free with an adult entree something that they really need to advertise right up front more and maybe even advertise even more cuz I could see where this could be a family-friendly venue or you could definitely get your mileage on food and games but the family here on an afternoon or evening that being said I really can't speak to anything else on the venue at this point over saying my overall experience personally was a positive one and bartender did a great job making sure to check in on me and make sure I was all right and got everything I needed which worked fine for me cuz I was just coming to a place to watch the NBA game to a drink relax finish up some work on my phone If you text messages and emails and call it a night notice they have Wi-Fi and outlets as well so that is one other advantage you want to notate and also definitely handicapped accessible but the ramp to get up unless you come in from the long way side through the sushi and grill tatsumi next door so keep that in mind as well and/or come from the ramp from the Office Depot side and the east side of the building that being said one of the other things they apparently do during the week did you ever you can request karaoke and/or virtual reality games

We had an enjoyable evening here. We started at the bar for a happy hour cocktail. The bartender was very friendly and told us about the menu and that it was possible to run a tab if we wanted to. After drinks were delivered we paid for an hour of axe throwing. It was our first time to do this and we were pretty terrible at it. While ax throwing we ordered cheese sticks and nachos. The nachos were really good, but I found the cheese sticks to be big and bready. After ax throwing, we enjoyed playing arcade games - many of them free to play. All in all a fun time. Next time, I want to try bowling.

Experienced my first High 5 in Austin, Texas last weekend on AndersonLane. Just used bowling lanes. Apparently the establishment does not believe in oiling its lanes on a regular basis. Or it only caters to customers who don't know how to bowl very well. I had to use a 14-pound plastic ball and throw it as hard as I could so it would not end up in the left gutter. Ball hooked instantly. Using some oil for the more experienced bowlers might result in more repeat customers. I hope we don't go back there for next year's outing. Just one man's opinion.

I planned a company outing. The food was really good. That was the highlight. We had ribs and chicken. Mashed potatoes were on point - creamy and flavored well. But the staff didn't quite have it together. Our arcade passes didn't work after multiple attempts, Our lanes weren't ready. We couldn't find the golf balls or golf tees. The place needs some TLC. Bowling was a big hit.

So much fun. Food took a long time to come out and the drinks are a little pricey for the quality. But they had a cute arcade for the kids and the adults had a great time bowling. They do have an ax throwing section which is pretty cool!

Only bad experiences so far at this place due to the employees not caring about the customers experience at all whatsoever. ×4 High 5 A bartender named "Jay" who said (that's his name 'for today' implying he has more names) had already cleaned the bar and said it was closed at 9:30 pm although Jay said they close at 10:pm and the website says they close at 11pm (they closed 30 mins early) Jay also informed us that the cash register at the bowling alley was closed also so we could not bowl. no bowling, no drinks. if you plan a trip here? forget about it, they switch up instantaneously. when we called ahead to ask if they were open (because last time we came in person, a lady told us they were closed due to someone renting out the entire restaurant. which is fine, her attitude was not (they also could have put that on the door)) the lady on the phone gave us a terrible, terrible attitude and gave us the general "we are open Monday through Friday 9-5" routine and she sounded like she hated her whole job and did not want to be there High 5 - your employees are loosing y'all money. as is your hours. please close at 9 pm if y'all close registers at 9 pm!!! please and thank you! (P.S) I came here after work, i close at a breakfast restaurant AND I work a night job where I also close so I UNDERSTAND and I am considerate of others feelings, I UNDERSTAND how it feels when people walk in 10 mins before closing. But this is the job you literally signed up for

Went there during the happy hour. Liked the food and the drinks. Should definitely call before we go here. There could be private events booked and they wont let us bowl.

This is another great spot for game night, dates, solo outings or hanging with family. They have quite the selection of games to chose from. I bowled and also played pool. I did pretty well at bowling but my pool skills were a little dusty! Haha Anyway, let get into the food here and drinks! I got some of the best boneless wings I have ever tasted in my entire life! They were fried to perfection and the sauce is literally to die for. This Thai bone less wing was deep fried to perfection without the greasy taste of fried food. My friend ordered their amazing loaded tater tots which was absolutely delicious. I also tried their Mexican candy shot! It had a good amount of spice that balanced the liquor out. I Highly recommend getting this before you go play some games.it will definitely loosen you up. I really enjoyed this place and will be back for more games, food, and shot!!

Such a fun place! They have everything here. Bowling, ax throwing, basketball, karaoke, VR, corn hole and much more. Came for a holiday party so we had the whole place and access to everything. There is an outdoor area as well with corn hole. We had a fajita buffet which was really good. I would order again. Bartenders made great drinks. Definitely check this place out for a fun date night or group outting :)

My family and I came here for a fun time but that wasn't the case. The service here is not that great and the lane we got kept on messing up! The price for this wasn't worth the experience, so we quickly left after our final game was over.

Six stars service!!! Held an event last night (7/24/23) and everyone commented on how great everything went. Customer service was extraordinary!!! Food and games were wonderful. Ambiance was exactly what we were hoping for. Highly recommend!!! Thank you High 5 team for all your hard work!!

Crappy customer service. I called on Monday to see if they were open (they're closed on Mon). They have an answering service that doesn't even know they r closed on mondays. Really ? Why not just let them know so they can answer a simple question. Or put that on the recorded msg that u have to listen to before the service picks up ! Poor management.

Good fun experiencing axe throwing for the first time. I actually enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Pizza was good as well as the drinks. Not too impressed by the top golf suite but maybe it just was not our thing. Will definitely return again!

I was in town visiting and came here for the first time on Wednesday. Sarah was very attentive and so nice! She asked what my preference for alcohol was and made me one of the best margaritas I've ever had! Also, the loaded tots were amazing, I will definitely be back.

This is where my Raiders club meets every week to watch our team. Great place. Lots if tvs. They have a LOT to do if you aren't watching sports. Darts, axe throwing, bowling, arcade games, pool, sand shuffle, basketball etc. Theres a large bar and they serve food. Great attentive staff. Definitely recommend checking it out. Kid and parent friendly

My company held our holiday party here over the weekend and had a terrible experience. There were about 3 parties that same night in addition to the people who also decided to go there for the evening, so needless to say, there were a lot of people there all at the same time. There were only 2 bartenders for the whole evening. One of the bartenders refused to make the "specialty" drinks and just said they couldn't make them anymore. He also couldn't keep up with the requests for drinks so we had to make requests multiple times. His whole attitude was negative and I know we spent A LOT of money on drinks, as our company opened a tab for 20+ people to drink as much as we wanted. In addition to the terrible bar services, our company paid for bowling and the Top Golf Swing Suite. For bowling, two of our lanes stopped working and instead of fixing them, all four of our lanes were shut off about 10 minutes early. We then went to the Top Golf suite and there was another party in there. We told them we had the suite reserved at 8:30 but they told us their party started late so they weren't leaving. The teenage "manager," I'm not even sure she was a manager, I don't think there was actually one there that night, but anyway, the "manager" told us she wasn't going to kick them out of the suite so our only option was to leave or we could continue bowling, as she would open up two lanes and not charge us. I know from my description they will know what company we were but we don't plan to return or recommend this place to anyone else. I've actually already told others not to plan any outings there. I'm not sure how you stay open or why anyone would ever want to return.

Pros: Free parking, variety of activities (indoor and outdoor), good bar menu variety, decent sized party room We went here for a work party and had access to pretty much everything but the bowling lanes (as it was league night), which was good as we had a sizeable crowd. The food was meh - I don't know if it was our choices, the way the buffet was setup (split between two sides of the room randomly and with a strange layout - like the salsas near the churros and the tortillas near the cheese board) or that I later saw the most delicious looking large pizzas (which we didn't have), but I definitely left hungry and unsatisfied. The service was just OK - they were only mildly attentive and at some point seemed to stop working our party room for table clearing or drink service. It is a great place for a large gathering as it has bowling, ax throwing, karaoke, Top Golf, cornhole, pool and darts.

To be blunt, I'm not sure who runs the company, as I'm pretty sure there are a few of these and not franchised, but y'all really need to understand your demographic. For so long this area has needed a destination spot that's got a good feeling to it, and this became it! You had it for a short while and lost it. So... I did in fact give it another go... I won't be back again, nor will our events. I was literally asked by your staff if I knew of anyone looking to manage! I honestly could not believe what I was hearing. Blew my mind. Good luck to you folks over there, I'd suggest trying to figure out how to get your groove back!

The staff are very kind but the quality of the place in general is crap. $55 to bowl for an hour on a Sunday evening and the lane has shut down and had to be reset more than 10 times. And it eats into your bowling time. It's not worth the money. Don't bowl here.

Mixed feelings. The food was good but took forever to get. The bowling doesn't show the scores on the tv screen so we could all see and the lane/score had to be continually corrected. Our game turned off before we were done. BUT the staff was really helpful and apologetic.

Do not under any circumstances go here. The worst customer service of all time. The manager, Sarah, was rude and hostile. When I requested a refund she shouted that "she was sorry I was broke." Go to Highland Lanes.

Ashley was phenomenal! We were late to our reservation and everyone was still incredibly nice and hospitable. The food was amazing - haven't had onion rings of that caliber ever and no one rushed us or was rude in any capacity.

Man! This place needs some more GOOD reviews!! My 14 year old and I went last night to watch the fight and play some games. We started off renting the top golf room for 30 mins to check it out. You can play a variety of virtual sports in it besides golf. 30 mins was enough to check out football, baseball, golf, soccer, and zombie dodgeball. We didn't feel like it was terribly Accurate, it probably needs to be recalibrated after a year of not much use. But it would be a super fun thing to do with your friends for an hour or two, and the room also offers karaoke. Half an hour was 30$. The way e went and played 3 games of bowling. Bowling is 5$/person/game for the first one and 3.50/every game after that AND IT INCLUDES SHOES! They have about 8 lanes. It's not like professional lanes or anything, but they have lots of TVs and big screens behind the lanes as well. By the start of our 3rd game of bowling we decided we needed some root beer floats and pizza. We placed our order at the bar and told them our lane, and it was out before we finished the game. They are still working a few people shy of a full crew, so of course you have to have that patience we should all practice, but our pizza and floats were AWESOME! (I had the adult screwball version and it was a win!) They also have axe throwing and a game room with pool and basketball and skeeball and some other stuff (10$/wristband) but we didn't get to that bc the fight started and then it was late and I was TIRED! The bar area was hopping and there were several bartenders as well as TVs EVERYWHERE! We will be back!

The High Five staff (Sarah and the team) were outstanding in making our evening a success. High 5's options were varied, and my people floated between ax throwing, bowling, basketball, and the VR. It was so much fun watching the staff enjoy themselves. The food was tasty and plentiful. We enjoyed the varied options and I can't believe your vegan options were so tasty. I even bowled a game of 88.

Dropped by here with a group of 6 on Saturday around 3pm and stayed here until 6! We paid 22 usd per person to have a bowling lane for 2 hours and it was so much fun! A lot of people left by 4 so it felt like we had a personal bowling alley. Though next time I'd get it only for an hour since one game of bowling was enough for us since the place had so many other fun things like an air hockey table, basketball, giant Jenga and foose ball. Highly recommend!

I stopped in for Mariah Carey's cookies. There is no signage posted for assistance with this ghost kitchen. I asked the bartender for assistance. He started singing a song and then rode a skate board around the bar. He was of no assistance. I had to ask 3 people for help before getting my cookies.

Great place for the family to have fun! I've been looking for private karaoke rooms for my daughter to practice singing, and this has been the best yet! The song selection is complete, and we were able to find every song we searched for. They even have Disney songs for the little ones! The screen is huge, taking up an entire wall, and the sound system was remarkable. There is also a sizable seating area for a party, but it's just as fun for a small group like we had today. We also bowled today (nicest rental shoes I've seen!) and visited the bar for some drinks and snacks. The beer selection is legit, and the mixed drinks I've had on other visits have always been just right. The staff has always been both attentive and friendly, and the entertainment has evolved over the years to include an expanded axe throwing area with 4 bays and a new virtual reality experience. From prior experience, I can tell you that this is a great place for an office party/happy hour as well. Don't forget to read the plaque by the door for a little lesson about Jimmy Buffett's inspiration for Margaritaville at this very location some 45+ years ago!

This was my second time coming here and it was a great time. Came out with my girlfriends..we bowled, drank and ate bigass chicken tenders..they're huge..get the Thai chili, you will not regret it. Also ask for AJ, he was amazing and such good energy.

The axe throwing is my favorite part. I went with my boyfriend and his family for the first time and we had a blast. I'd definitely go again. The only thing I'd say is that they need to update their drink menu.

This place is so freaking dope!!!! The highlight for me was how CLEAN everything was. Shout out to management for staying on top of covid and cleaning everything very often. My friends and I went here for bowling and while we waited for our lane to be ready, we enjoyed a few drinks and played some games. Cheat code for you: there's a Groupon that is a pretty good deal!

Fantastic work happy hour! A very large group of us hung out for a couple of hours in the bar area. Adam was phenomenal! I really cannot remember the last time I had such excellent service. He was friendly, professional, efficient, and made the whole experience five star. The happy hour specials were pretty good. The Texas trio was fantastic. I love homemade tortilla chips, and the queso might be my new favorite. We did not go back to the game area, so I can't speak to that. But the entire bar happy hour experience was wonderful, and I will definitely be back! We need more Adams in the service industry.

A group of friends and I randomly decided to try out High 5 last night for a friend's birthday. When we arrived, Ashley (sp?) helped us feel so welcomed. She got us set up with axe throwing, VR and showed us everything else we could do. She was so helpful and enthusiastic which provided us with an even better experience. Thanks Ashley for a fun night out! The drinks were great too. Next time, we will try more.

We had this bartender this evening Jay, he was so attentive and helpful. He made sure we were well taken care of and helped us throughout the evening. When I needed beer recommendations, I told him what I liked and he gave me great recommendations. I'll definitely be back.

So the bowling was good for the family and the environment was good for a Sunday afternoon, but come on.... The service was not good. To clarify, the employees were fine, there just wasn't enough of them. I honestly think I only saw 3 employees there.. From the bar, to the grill, to the bowling alley, to the other games, 3 employees. Not good... Gotta have people there to take my money, if you wanna make money.... Beer ordered, never delivered. Soft drinks ordered, never delivered. Bowling shoes looked like the blown out end of a cuban cigar. Let's go fellas, we don't quit at halftime....

We come to High 5 pretty often and no one has ever had better service than the bartender Jay. Hands down, if you want the best experience then ask for him!

First time visiting after new owner (I'm assuming here) Great air conditioned bar. Lots of seating and games I'm the back. We visited in the middle of the day, about 1:30pm. When visiting a bar/restaurant at this time, service can be hit or miss. Service was definitely not a miss! Great service. The bartender, Adam B., even changed the music after hearing one comment from my husband that I'm not a fan of the newish country they were playing. Super gold star for that!! We will definitely be back.

I really wanted to like this place, but I think they need some serious customer service work before I could recommend it. My girlfriend and I decided to come here on a Sat night for bowling, some drinks and a few arcade games. There was a banner on their website saying "sign up for our mailing list, get a $5 game card". With a deal like that -- sure! My girlfriend and I both signed up and headed over there, to bowl, eat dinner and play some games! After spending well over $150 for two games of bowling and some decent food as well as having a few drinks, we took our vouchers up to the front desk to get our game cards -- and that's where things started to go sour, and fast. The front desk manager implied I was using a screen shot on my phone, and said I needed to print my game card voucher out. After I showed him it was in my email, and that I didn't have a printer (nor did it say it needed to be printed to redeem) he said it was only valid at their Lakeway location (it says in the email 'Valid in Both Locations', see attached image) and made a big to do before giving us a single comped game card -- $5 total for the both of us. The most frustrating part was that every single game was at least $1.50 in credits, so we got one game of basketball each. When you have Pinballz, Highland Lanes, and Dave & Busters within a mile or so, it's bizarre to offer a more expensive service and make your customers feel like crap for redeeming a $5 off coupon, when I'm sure it can't effect your bottom line too badly. After this experience, I'm likely just going to go to back to those others instead.

I can't say more amazing things about Zoya, she was a fantastic bartender. She was going a million miles per minute and made sure everyone was taken care of and left us with a smile on our face. Highly recommend this place because of her. On the other hand, the other bartenders were constantly leaving. She was picking up the slack and working extremely hard.

Came here for a work event and really enjoyed the atmosphere! We only stayed for the bowling, but the staff was kind and were willing to open up the karaoke room for us if we wanted! The drinks were great. The only reason I'm giving this 4 instead of 5 stars is because the food options are limited, especially for vegetarians. I would love to see slightly healthier food choices as well. Overall, I would recommend High 5 for any group events. Next time I would love to try the axe throwing and top golf VR!

I would give this High 5 a pass. I've been to the location in Lakeway which was much larger, cleaner, and well kept. This location is very small and it doesn't seem like there is much maintenance going on. Several of the arcade games were not working appropriately which wasn't the end of the world I guess, but when there are so few to choose from already it really limits your options. The COVID protocols here are also next to non existent. No masks in sight on guests or employees, no routine cleaning of the machines and common areas that I could see in the two hours we were there, and the hand sanitizer stations were empty.

Great food great service ordered garlic Parmesan chicken tenders which where a little pricey. Nice arcade and bowling, a very relaxed ambiance.

Really poor service from start to finish. Even the exec chef was out at the bar with 3 or 4 other employees and no one came to serve me. That happened all 3 times I went to the bar (to order food, to get our order corrected when it came out incorrect, and when I went to pay the tab). It's as if doing all the prep is more important than taking care of customers. Food was meh. And then, the bowling times out 10 minutes early. I recommend taking a pass.

Having a blast! This place has so many different things to do, not to mention dranks galore! You should definitely check it out... all the cool kids are doing it! And when you do, look for AJ, he's a badass ;).

The venue was pretty cool and the food was amazing. A group of 9 of us went and we ordered different apps to share. The tower of onion rings, loaded fries, pizza, and the chicken tenders were soooo good. I plan to come back for sure.

Matt & Cardel (I hope I spelled his name right) were amazing! They made our first experience fun. Cardel was very knowledgeable with the VR game & he recommended fun games! Matt always made sure we weren't thirsty. Lol. They seriously made our experience fun!

Service is bad! It was very slow and the bartender was occupied eating. I still don't know if the have food he never offered a menu. I also noticed he never checked on the one table that was occupied.

Yikes! I do not recommend! I went for their Monday special that they have online which is unlimited bowling + shoes, all you can tag, & a 100 pt player card for $22.50. The whole staff had no idea what I was talking about when I asked about it and there was no manager on floor the whole time I was there. Ended up paying $40 for just two games of bowling for two ppl w shoes. The first alley we played on even broke on us. I'd most definitely recommend a normal bowling alley. Didn't even get a chance to do anything else because the bowling alone was so expensive.

Clearly this location is a full hit or a full miss, based on reviews. For us, it was unfortunately a full miss. We organized a catered group outing for our team with the agreement of food for 30+, bowling, karaoke, golf, and other activities. From the minute we entered, we were clearly a burden to staff, who were wildly unhelpful and dismissive. When they weren't busy engaging in conversation or tickle fights (yes) amongst themselves, every request (resolving a lack of food, drinks, or otherwise) was met with either "we can't do that, sorry" or a "we're working on it" with no follow through-- even though the requests had been previously agreed upon when reserving the event. The bowling equipment continuously malfunctioned, and, after repeated requests for karaoke and golf, we were ultimately told both were out of commission due to network issues. We were not offered a refund, voucher, or otherwise for the lack of promised activities. An all-around underwhelming and disappointing experience.

Aj the floor manager was really sweet he made sure everything was okay. His energy was positive and I will be coming back with more friends.

High 5 Bowling is extremely fun! The thing I love about this place is that the prices for each game are super affordable and convenient! The people are nice and extremely friendly! 10/10 recommend!

High 5 is so much fun! Kayla and AJ were so amazing. We had a blast bowling and hanging out. We will definitely be back.
