"High Hops is more than a brewery. It’s part garden center, part home brew shop, and part hop farm producing more than 50 different varieties of hop plants — several of which end up in their brews. Plus, 40 taps means the brewery has a ton of styles to sample year-round, whether you’re into wheats or wee heavies." - Monica Stockbridge

Not sure what to say here really. Probably the only brewery on the planet that doesn’t allow children in (even full fledged teenager). Funny though because the signs in the brewery say children can’t be unattended in the nursery. Not family friendly at all and never had a chance to taste the beer before being run out of the place. I feel the employee didn’t care for my pro USA shirt. Hard pass for anything family related.

I’m so disappointed in the customer service at this place as it’s one of my favorite places to go. However, the employees have been so rude to me the last two times I’ve been here so I won’t be going back. I’ll be going to Bath in Fort Collins from now on for my gardening needs. Many of the same products with much friendlier employees. As for the brewery, I’ll go anywhere but here to drink. Apparently, children aren’t allowed to even sit with their parents here and staff were not friendly when they informed me of this. Dumb rule. Rude staff. Then I was informed I could only order from their drinks they had on tap. Nothing else. Won’t be going back.

High Hops offers decent, independently made microbrews with an exceptional, eclectic atmosphere to enjoy them in. The garden center connected to the microbrewery is ingenious and the addition of the distillery is a plus. We went to High Hops today and it was in the 90’s and our party stayed for one beer and honestly it was just too hot and muggy in the place; and we even tried to take cover in shade outside on their patio. My suggestion to the owners would be to invest in an air-conditioning unit so on very hot days your customers will be more inclined to visit and stay longer. We ended up going to another well-known microbrewery in Fort Collins after the one beer at High Hops; and this next microbrewery had climate control inside. Our party ended up getting two beers at this place. High hops could’ve had our business, but it was just too unbearable. We originally are from two other states were the climate is worse and more muggy.

Good beer, good outdoor seating area, and if you like plants and yard sculptures then you'll really love this place. Don't take your beer over into the nursery side. You can also get pizza here (Rocky Mountain pizza) and it's pretty good.

Absolutely amazing. We came on a Super Bowl Sunday, and we came a little before they were closing (so sorry!) They have the best vibes. Plants and beer. What else could you ask for? They also host different events like Gardening 101 and clay pottery classes. Oh yeah, and great beer!! I got a gluten free sour and my fiancé got an IPA and we were definitely NOT disappointed. We highly recommend! And when we come back from New Mexico for our wedding in Estes, we’ll be stopping here for some beer first. ❣️

My family and I used to love visiting this brewery, but our recent experience has left us deeply disappointed. We were shocked and saddened to be kicked out immediately upon arrival simply because we had our infant with us. The brewery's strict no-kids policy is not only ridiculous but also incredibly short-sighted. It's disheartening to think that we won't be able to enjoy this establishment for the next 21 years simply because they refuse to accommodate families. We urge the management to reconsider their policy and prioritize inclusivity for all patrons.

It had been awhile since I was last here (mainly because I just wasn’t impressed with the beer), but a friend had never been so we decided to go. We had different beer styles (a wheat and a stout) and yet somehow they were both almost complete flat and each didn’t represent their style of flavor. I’m glad I revisited, but I’m just going to officially be done with this brewery.

My husband and I have gone to high hops since buying our home in Windsor many years ago. We were introduced by the family we bought our house from who gave us growlers and raved about the place. We have always loved meeting friends here. We had a baby end of 2023, but can no longer come here as a family due to their policy of 21+ only. We needed an outing with our newborn today and saw the signs informing of this policy but thought surely this wouldn’t apply to a newborn. But it does and I will say contrary to other reviews staff was very nice to us enforcing this. This is a bummer for us and it felt so awful to no longer be welcome at a place we’ve enjoyed for so long. They did offer for us to buy and take home, but that defeats the purpose of getting out. We will see you in 20 years…when I’ll hope to put my rating back up to 5 stars where it should be.
