High Note Rooftop Bar Review - Midtown - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"High Note is a rooftop bar and restaurant that connects Midtown's Moxy and AC Hotel. And while there’s no skyline views, this rooftop courtyard and pool stays packed with staycationers (they offer pool day passes) and vacationers alike, so we like to occasionally pop up here to absorb the carefree energy and resort vibes with a tropical drink. The Peach Queen is our cocktail of choice because it’s citrusy and refreshing and perfect for sipping beneath the string lights on the patio. And a full menu (get the perfectly fried jalapeño hush puppies with a sweet honey drizzle) makes it easy to camp out at this rooftop all day or night. " - Juli Horsford

These Atlanta Hotel Bars Aren’t Just for Tourists

"Located on the roof of the AC Midtown and the Moxy hotels, High Note does not take itself too seriously, with drink names like Patio Pounder and Zoomed In and Zoned Out. But that doesn’t mean the cocktails here aren’t serious, while still keeping drinks fun with unexpected flavors." - Eater Staff

My man and I stayed in Georgia for a few days and this was our first stop before even checking into the hotel. We saw the menu and pictures of the place online and were extremely excited, unfortunately the place was just okay. We were seated immediately which was nice but was ignored by staff for 15 minutes, no one came over to greet us or take a drink order of any kind so we moved to the bar. The bartenders seemed extremely annoyed, maybe they hate their job or just didn’t want to be there? menus were tossed at us as well as drinks were splashed on me a few different times as well as one spilled on me and my phone (accidents happen, I wasn’t mad) I was just wondering why drinks were being made sort of aggressively??? We didn’t arrive at a busy time or anything. Food tasted great which was the honey garlic steak tips and sweet heat sliders. Drinks were decent. Overall, I enjoyed the atmosphere and food but service was enough for me to not recommend to anyone.

I was here with my friend and we were a little bite scared because this restaurant has a lower reviews on Goggle. However everything was perfect, food and drinks tasted really good and service was so pleasant and professional.

Hanging out in Atlanta for the evening so I met up with some friends and my cousin to hang out! My cousin said this place had an awesome atmosphere and good food, so we hit it up! Atmosphere/Appearance: On the top floor of the AC Hotel and Moxy Atlanta is this gem. It's so open, inviting and fun. The bar is covered so in case of bad weather you can hang out under there, but the weather was beautiful so we sat out in the open. Service: I can't remember the name of the gentleman who took care of us, but he was great. I had no complaints. Food: For my entree I grabbed a simple burger. It doesn't seem to be on the menu anymore, but it was a juicy burger with bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion and gouda cheese. It was straightforward and delicious. The seasoned fries were pretty amazing as well. Value: Well, it's downtown Atlanta on the rooftop of a hotel. Lol. Do the math. I'm messing around. The prices weren't terrible, but you get what you pay for. Worth it though. In conclusion, I'd totally come back here. The atmosphere was just awesome and I could spent all day here.

I love it. Service was top-notch, prices are decent, and the location is great. I wish they were closing a bit later.

We celebrated our anniversary and the Staff was kind and accommodating. They went out there way to make us feel good. The food was delicious and fresh. I wish they had a DJ or live band outside of that I enjoyed my experience. There was a young women, long black curly hair I believe she is Hispanic. I never got her name. She gave such great customer service. She wasn't our waitress however she stopped our table multiple times to make sure we were okay. And she gave us a Champagne Toast for our anniversary. Very kind of her

I recently had the pleasure of visiting High Note Rooftop Bar, and I have to say, our experience was truly elevated by the exceptional service from our bartender. From the moment we approached the bar, Will was not only incredibly helpful but also genuinely welcoming and engaging. Their knowledge of the menu was impressive; they guided us through the drink selections with expertise, making spot-on recommendations that perfectly matched our tastes. Each suggestion turned out to be a hit, enhancing our enjoyment of the evening. What stood out even more was Will's ability to suggest great spots for us to visit next. Their recommendations for other local hotspots added an extra layer of excitement to our night out. Beyond their knowledge and helpfulness, Will was simply a joy to interact with. Their friendly demeanor and positive energy contributed greatly to the vibrant atmosphere of the High Note Rooftop Bar. They truly made our visit memorable, and I can't thank them enough for that. If you’re planning a visit to High Note Rooftop Bar, make sure to spend some time at the bar with Will. Their service is top-notch, and they will undoubtedly enhance your experience as they did ours.

I recently attended a baby shower, and while the food and drinks were great and the DJ was a vibe, the overall experience was disappointing due to poor service. Despite having a reservation for a party of 15, including the mother-to-be, the staff was unprepared for our arrival. From the moment we got there, the staff's attitude was unwelcoming and rude. When we asked for additional umbrellas to provide some shade from the sun, we were met with resistance and unhelpful responses. Instead of assisting us, the host repeatedly suggested that we could go somewhere else, which added to our discomfort and frustration. While the culinary and musical aspects were enjoyable, the lack of preparation and poor customer service made what should have been a joyous occasion quite stressful. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves their service for future guests.
