Chef-driven 16-inch pies, pepperoni rolls, and seasonal specials anchor this Rockrimmon favorite. The Gazette says it rises above the norm, and Springs Magazine includes it among top local picks. Amazing pizza. The cheesy stick was really good, and the marinara sauce was a little different than the pizza ( a little more kick to it). The Besty pizza (white pizza) had the perfect amount of topping to slice ratio. Overall pizza were cooked to perfection and the pick up time was right on the dot.

Our first night in Colorado Springs and we wanted something casual and fast after a day of driving. The atmosphere, None. We were planning on staying and eating. However, it was so warm in there and no life to the place we took it back to our hotel so we could have a drink: a real missed opportunity. Anyways, we ordered the garlic knots and the Vinny. The garlic knots were fine, not impressed. I could have gotten them anywhere, doughy and tasted store bought. But the Vinny! WoW! The crust, light and crispy, the sausage, meat balls, garlic, bacon all so tasty! Chefs kiss! So so good! I highly recommend the food.

Google
Honestly my new favorite pizza place! They have a great selection of toppings and unique specialty pizzas. My only comparing is the cheesy bread feels pricey but it's still delicious. We loved the marinara sauce, it was tomato-y and well seasoned. They have a lunch special if you want to buy pizza by the slice instead of a whole pizza as well, and there's an option for gluten free crust.

Google
We were visiting Colorado Springs and this pizza restaurant offered vegan cheese for my husband. The restaurant is casual. They serve pizza by the slice. We purchased 2 large pizzas. The pizzas were delicious and the crust was thin and crispy which I like.

Google
Tried this place out with my family this week and it is so good! The pizza is the exact type of pizza I like - thin, soft chewy crust, top notch flavors. The cheesy bread was so good, and we devoured the pizza - we gotta come back and try the pepperoni rolls. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious! The only thing was the dining area left a little to be desired - tables were all messy and we had to clean them off ourselves in order to sit and eat. And there is no soda fountain, so be prepared for only canned or bottled sodas. Wish we had one on the east side, but the pizza was worth the drive.

I called in to pick up a pizza today Sunday July 6@ 7:30. The punk that answered The phone was only concerned about me getting there before 8 o’clock, so he wouldn’t have to stay a moment or too late.. I absolutely despise lousy customer service. And this was lousy customer service. The pizza is good, extremely expensive. And I shouldn’t have to put up with shitty customer service by a punk that answered the phone. You list a good customer.

What I love about this place is the variety of toppings and the quality of their ingredients. Now, their pies and/or slices are not too big, but they're packed with flavor. A bit on the pricey side, but not too bad and definitely well worth it. I ordered to go, but the place looked clean and cozy. The staff was very pleasant and I did not have to wait very long. I ordered the "My Cousin Vinny" pie for my sons, and two separate slices for me. One "Margherita," and the other, I don't remember the name, but it had a garlic based sauce with some mushrooms, sausage and onions, and it was really tasty. The crust, however, takes the prize. It is crispy yet soft, chewy and hard all at the same time. I don't know how they do it, but it really stands alone. Best crust I've ever tasted... And I'm from NYC! 👍🏻👍🏻

Google
Best pizza I have had in a long time. The Uncle Vinny is so good and at a good price! The crust is soft on the inside and crunchy on the out. The bacon is to die for. We will definitely return.

Yelp
I always love the pizza, garlic knots are out of this word! Spinach artichoke dip has a little kick which I love!!!! And staff is always amazing, so friendly and gets the food out super fast!

Yelp
Came here with my mother in law and was a bit dissapointed. Its like a food teuck area made of shipping containers eith some sitting bear heaters for winter. We tried this ppizza place and was a little let down. Two slices of pizza and 3 garlic rolls for 20 bucks is a bit expensive for not that much food. Probably won't be coming back.

Yelp
Neighborhood pizza in a strip mall...the best pizza I have found in a long time. We had a cheese pizza and the first bite said it all, excellent!! The crust is thin and crispy, not tough like I find more often than not. Light on the sauce and cheese, perfect. The service was also great. Clean spot to enjoy your pizza.

Yelp
We stumbled across this restaurant due to yelp recommendations. The service was questionable but fast, the price was reasonable, the restaurant was fairly clean, but the pizza was bland.

Yelp
Yessss! Thank you! I ventured out to High Rise after reading all the wonderful reviews and seeing that they offered GF crust (at no extra cost - you saints) and yes, it was so worth it! Holy smokes, very delicious and the GF was not hard but had a good chew. The house-made pistachio pesto sauce is divine. Very very happy that I tried this place and can't wait to go back and try all the other variations!

Cory G.

Yelp
We ordered 2 pizzas for pick up. High Rise made a mistake on 1 of the pizzas and had to remake it. Instead of remaking them both so we had 2 freshly made pizzas, they chose to put the other pizza in a warmer and assured my son that it would be good. They were wrong. It was soggy, warmish, limp, and gross. We threw most of it out. For the extra 30+ minutes of our time that it took to make the pizza, the comped us 1 soda. They were happy to take our $50 but treated us poorly and provided old, nasty pizza. The fresh pizza was good but not good enough to return.

Susan N.

Yelp
Great gluten free pizza crust. The rest of the family had a BYO regular pizza which they say was delicious. We all agreed it's the best pizza we've had. Highly recommend!

Sue W.

Yelp
High Rise Pizza Kitchen has THE BEST pizza crust ever, the friendliest service, and most welcoming atmosphere!!! The meatballs and garlic knots are amazing too! Love everything about the place!

Isaac C.

Yelp
I was introduced to this place and I fell in love. I have tried different pizzas and everything is delicious. Hands down the best.

Yelp
We were visiting Colorado Springs and came here for dinner one night!! Great pizza place with lots of vegetarian options! There are a couple tables inside for sitting. We ordered the Amazing Anu and loved it. The pesto was delicious. The Biergarten was also amazing with roasted garlic and balsamic glaze. The pizzas were huge and we had enough leftover from our family of 4 for a whole other meal the next day. We also got the salad which had super fresh ingredients! High recommend.

Yelp
We got the My Cousin Vinny. The toppings were so good-- seasoned perfectly. The crust was crunchy and perfect. The staff was very friendly and I highly recommend this place. By the way I'm from New Jersey-- this is not that. But it is excellent and delicious!

Yelp
We loved their pizza - so much so that we went back again a second time on our trip. Both times, we got takeout, and the pizza was hot and ready both times. They had a great special too.
google avatar

Jevita R.

Yelp
Dropped in as we have been meaning to give it a try. It was fantastic! Great thin crust and it was so tasty. Had the bbq sauce as the base which we loved ! Sausage and pepperoni and sautéed mushrooms. Yummy for the tummy. Will definitely go back

Yelp
The pizza here is amazing and the marinara sauce with the garlic knots was the best I've ever had. The garlic knots were just average and a little pricey for only an order of 3, but the sauce that came with it was phenomenal. It's worth getting the knots just for the sauce alone. Crust was very flavorful too. Overall a great pizza place.

Yelp
This is my favorite pizza place in Colorado Springs. As a native, I can say that the Springs has been lacking when it comes to good pizza that's not linked to a chain. My husband and I order from High Rise frequently, and every time we pick up our pizza, it's a quality pie. Our favorite is the Margherita but we also enjoy the Betty White.

Yelp
We were randomly in the area and feeling hungry on a Saturday evening. I checked Yelp and nothing was really jumping out at me, but I had bookmarked High Rise Pizza Kitchen recently so we decided to give it a try. They're in a non-descript strip. All storefront on the corner. I think there was in house seating for about a dozen people. The restaurant was very clean and we saw staff keeping busy cleaning in between doing other things throughout our visit. I was impressed with the level of detail I saw one employee go to while wiping down items thoroughly. We tried some super tasty garlic knots and a specialty pizza. Both were so good!! The marinara was loaded with flavor and the crust had the perfect crispness to it! The combination of flavors was really nice and we were completely satisfied. Definitely a must try if you're in the area!

Yelp
Best margherita pizza I've ever had. Even the first bite was crispy. No flop whatsoever.

Yelp
I can see why they have such a high rating. I have eaten a lot of pizzas but this one had fresh ingredients and a great crust!

Yelp
I found this place on the Yelp App as a recommendation for top pizza places in Colorado Springs and man was this a good pick! I did carry out on a Friday night after placing my order online. The wait for this place on a Friday night was only 25 minutes which in my opinion is a steal compared to these other pizza chains. Could have just been a slower night though too! But ordering online was super easy and quick. I got to the restaurant and they had my order ready for pick up. They do have indoor seating so if you want to actually eat at the restaurant you can. I had ordered the Sausage Spinach & Ricotta Rolls and customized my own pizza! For customizing your pizza they have a ton of fresh and local ingredients you can pick from which I loved. I ended up adding prosciutto, spinach, mushrooms, fontina cheese, red onion, and the house red and garlic sauce. This pizza was phenomenal! The crust was soft and crunchy just how I like it. I definitely had left overs that kept me full the next few days after which was great. If you need a chill and tasty pizza spot this is it!

Yelp
Visiting Colorado and stayed in a VRBO nearby - this pizza was the best we've ever had. We are here twice in 5 days it was so good. The pepperoni rolls a must! Amazing Anu add double pepperoni n olives YUM! My cousin Vinny awesome! Get extra meat! Greek salad is soo good too! THE BALLER THAN MOST meatballs rock! Totally recommend! It will not disappoint!

Yelp
This is some of the best pizza I've EVER had. And that includes pizza in Naples and NYC. This review is for the high rise pizza kitchen at Red Leg, so I cannot speak to the quality of food, service or ambiance at the main restaurant - but the pizza I experienced at their installation at red leg is simply unmatched. The crust is chewy with the best flavor - a lot of pizzas you'll find in the springs have a really bland crust, but not here. Then you get to the delicious and creative blend of toppings you'll find at High Rise. Just the best. Do NOT skip the dipping sauce. The garlic parm sauce is something I'll never forget. Absolutely delicious!

Yelp
Best in town. Usually I give my crust to my wife but this crust is amazing. I'm excited about this place pulling me out of the pizza doldrums.

Yelp
The hubby and I were in the mood for some pizza but were not in an area we knew well so we found this place on Yelp of course. It was not busy as far as people eating there. It is a small location with maybe 5 tables. There were only two people working and you can tell by the lack of customers inside that they were busy with phone or online orders. The nice girl did address us as we arrived and once she had a moment she took our order. Took about 20 minutes or so to get our pizza and pepperoni rolls. I will say that if you want pizza on a budget this is not the place to go. With just the two items plus a tip we spent close to $50 bucks but it was delicious so we felt it was worth the wait and cost. The pepperoni rolls were my favorite and their marinara sauce was so delicious! I would definitely come back when we want to splurge a bit on some tasty pizza and receive great customer service!
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
We got the supreme pizza and it didn't disappoint! Love that they use whole olives as a topping. The dough/crust is also a perfect thickness/crispiness.

Randy B.

Yelp
Over a quarter of the product appears to be unavailable. No meatballs no romaine lettuce. Obviously they are busy but clean your tables off. Staff could be a bit friendlier. All though price good food. Try it you decide

Carmita N.

Yelp
The food and service was amazing. Cason was so kind to my husband and I. We just got married and we stopped in for the first time. He was very kind and genuine. The margarita pizza was delicious

Yelp
High Rise Pizza was recommended by someone who's opinion we hold in high regard, and we made the trip from Woodland Park to give it a try. Upon entering the restaurant, there was cool and upbeat music playing, perfectly complimenting the vibe of the place. The owner, Ben came out and highlighted some of the menu items for us. We decided on a pie (there are many great options to choose from), a house salad and drinks. Our bill was very reasonable, and we were looking forward to the meal. The salad came first, and was so much more than your average, "House Salad" elsewhere! We were really impressed that Ben makes his own marinated tomatoes (like sun dried and absolutely delicious!) and also the various dressings. Then came the pizza... The chicken was flavorful and tender, the hand crafted sauce and micro greens topping it (after being cooked) were very fresh and complimented the pizza perfectly. This isn't your normal, average, neighborhood pizza place, this is "High Rise", gourmet pizzas and more! To say we were impressed doesn't fully express how wonderful the food and owner are! Prices are well under what they should/could be, and Ben is friendly, informative and conversational! We'll be back soon!!!

Yelp
I can make this review really easy. My girlfriend took one bite and said this was the best pizza that she had ever had. I was on a road trip and looking for food to take back to our hotel. We've been going to the same pizza place in Southern California for 30 years. High Rise pizza had the same vibe, it was clear that they made everything fresh and that we were going to get great pizza. Great to see a small place hitting it out of the park.

Yelp
My friends and I stopped in after moving (pizza is the perfect post-move food, right?). We were impressed with the selection, and ordered My Cousin Vinny (minus the sliced meatballs), and The Amazing Anu. Our pizzas were fantastic. We really liked the vegetarian options as one of us is full time vegetarian. The Amazing Anu was the hands down winner between the two (we finished it off there, and took home the last two slices of My Cousin Vinny). The owner, Ben, was super cool to talk with. He gave us some history of his restaurant, and the connection to Andrew, and Betsy from Oliver's. We asked how long the specialty pizzas would be around for, as I really want to try them all before they're gone. I hope they remain popular enough they become permanent additions to the menu. The vibe was super chill and relaxed. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch as well as the tunes. Ben's taste in music is...Sublime. Looking forward to working my way through the specialty pizzas!

Yelp
Cool place with very unique pizza menu. 5 tables if you want to eat fresh out of the oven, but I think most people pick up to take home.
google avatar

Hannah R.

Yelp
Once again an excellent pizza and delightful salad experience. Super fresh ingredients. Always greeted warmly with nothing but smiles. And then a double rainbow right outside the doors...

Richard M.

Yelp
New pizza place in the former Colorado Crust location. First, the positives - the employees were great. Very nice, timely, easy to work with. The pizza was also good. Not great, but good. Definitely something I'd eat again, but not something I crave like Slice420. The negatives - we got the smoked ham on our pizza. Not much smoked taste and each slice only had 4-5 pieces. And these aren't big pieces - they're small cubes. I struggled between 3 or 4 stars, but decided on 4 since they're new. We'll definitely give them another shot and try something different next time. Hope I can bump it to 5 stars.

Yelp
I wasn't going to write a review at first, I tried emailing the store my concerns first but I never received a response. I've ordered from here twice, the 1st time the gluten free pizza was awesome. However, the second time I ordered it, It was burnt in areas and basically raw and gooey in other areas. I don't know if the cooks that night just didn't know how to cook the GF crust or rolled it out unevenly or what, because like I said, the 1st time I ordered it, it was great! But unfortunately too expensive to try again and see if it was a one off, can't afford to spend $25+ again to eat cardboard.
google avatar

BK K.

Yelp
Had their pizza at Red Leg Brewery and it was rock hard. It had to be at least 1-2 days old and reheated. When I told them about it they said it was made within the last hour which is impossible for a non burned but rock hard pizza. I suspect they take all their leftover pizza and sell it by the slice at Red Leg.
google avatar

Steven D.

Yelp
Very disappointing. Showed up at the restaurant on a Friday evening at 7:30 to find out they were out of dough. Tried calling back the next day to order for takeout and got voicemail. I suspect they were out of sauce. Moving on...

Beatriz S.

Yelp
We waited about 20 min although I didn't mind. Ordered a mozzarella, sausage, pepperoni and bell pepper pizza. It was the BEST!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem. Such great prices and pizza. I'm never disappointed and love that they're a local spot.

Yelp
Some of the best pizza my family has ever had! Kid approved and that is difficult since they are picky. We had sausage pizza and the margherita pizza. The crust was awesome, flaky and golden and airy. Ingredients were high quality and delicious. Highly recommended!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Hungry for pizza..... you won't be disappointed if you stop here! Located in a small strip mall. We were the only people eating in but they do a tremendous take out business! I can see why.... Pleasant staff, great salads and the pizza.... Delicious!!

jake f.

Yelp
Awesome food. Bad workers. Called at 7:20 pm no answer and kept calling, finally picked up at 7:35. "Umm umm we are closed we ran out of dough." Called again 5 min later at 7:40 to ask for just salads and they said they were closed. Monday hours 4-8pm.

Yelp
What a great find! We searched "pizza" after exploring at Pike's Peak and Garden of the Gods, and I'm glad we found this place. Not a huge restaurant or many seating options, but still delicious none the less. We got the house breadsticks and the Cousin Vinny Pizza. It was essentially a meat pizza with roasted garlic cloves. Our whole family loved the pizza, check it out if you're near by!
google avatar

Brooke B.

Yelp
Love at first bite. So so yummy. Got the Margherita with chicken. Excited to try their house specials.

Morgan H.

Yelp
I love this place. They canceled my order twice now. With advance notice they still cancel. Completely unreliable. I can't anyone. Thanks for the memories and we are moving on.

Joe W.

Yelp
Delicious thin crust pizza; crust has just the right combination of crispy and chewy, good portion of toppings. Was ready for pickup exactly as projected. Would definitely order again. I might move from Chicago to COS for this pizza alone!

L P.

Yelp
Hello I did a walk-in for a pizza around 4pm today. First of all, I was ready to order and the3 phone rand and the young girl ignored me and took the call for an order. Once I finally placed my order, I was told it would take 25 minutes, so I waited in my car. I went in after that time and retrieved the pizza. I created my own. I have to say, the pizza was barely warm and there was NO cheese on it. I receive just sauce, the meat and veggies. I spent 25.00 today (with the tip included) and I am very disappointed in what I received. It was awful. For 25.00 I should have received a great pizza-but instead received a cool, sloppily made item. I would like my money back but know that will never happen. Just know, I will not be back. Ugh, disgusted. A Dissatisfied Customer 11.5.2022

Yelp
I love this place! The crust is to die for and the ingredients taste so fresh. I love the Build Your Own pizza because there's so many options. Every combination I've had has been great! Ordering online is so easy and it's always ready on time. 10/10 recommend this place.

Yelp
Stopped here for pizza last night and it was delicious! Definitely recommend giving it a shot if you are looking for pizza.

Yelp
Place is great. We're staying in a hotel off woodmen and my kids wanted pizza and the wife and I split the Greek salad and spinach dip. The site said to wait 25-30 minutes (good food takes time), so we did and went by. Good service and cool little spot - looks modern and clean. Everything was incredible. The kids liked trying the fancy olives on their pizza and loved the crust. The breadsticks were tight enough to dive into a perfect cheese crust on the skinny dip and the Greek salad was and fresh and had a great dressing. It was more than enough and we had a little of everything left for a few hours later and swimming. Thank you for the 10/10 experience.

Patty H.

Yelp
You have to try this pizza...by far the best in the Springs!!! We have tried 3 different creative varieties & all were unbelievably delicious! We're anxious to try them all!! We ordered a couple to serve recent family guests....my brother-in-law said "this is the best pizza I've ever had anywhere!" The pizzas are huge...16" and thin, amazing crust! So great to have a wonderful new option for pizza!
