From the moment you walk in, you’re hit with a super cool retro vibe that feels intentional and nostalgic without being cheesy. It’s the kind of place where you want to linger just to soak up the atmosphere. But the real star is the food. The flavors are absolutely delicious and the items on the menu are so creative. Every dish we tried was seasoned to perfection and served fresh. You can tell they put a lot of heart into the menu—it’s elevated comfort food at its finest. Plus delicious vegetarian options was the cherry on top for me. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and take the High Road. We’ll definitely be back!

A pleasant new spot. Nice service, the items we ordered were okay. Would love to see them add more vegetable-led “handhelds” to the menu, one option isn’t quite cutting it.

What a delightful addition to the community. Have been twice to see what's up. First of all everyone is so polite and nice and the service was quick. The food was elevated but I pretentious. I love that they use locally sources ingredients representing Texan farmers without being pretentious. Highly recommend this place!

As it turns out this weekend I made a Cajun seafood boil. You need andouille for that! Popped in the high road for there ready-made andouille. Wow was it good. It was so meaty. Not fatty. Beautifully flavored. People who are not really sausage fans had seconds. Thanks!

New favorite sandwich spot in Austin. The “Everything is Bigger…” breakfast sandwich knocked my socks off. For afternoon/evening fare, I find myself craving the burger every few days; the bratwurst, the Hot Chxn, and the crinkle fries are all bangers.

Incredible new spot! The sandwiches taste like the best NY bodega sandwich you could ever eat. Highly, highly recommend!

Very excited this place opened up in the neighborhood. We went for lunch and got the beet tostada, the brisket cheeseburger, and hott Texan sausage link and they were all great. Will definitely come back!
