Dropped in for sa burger fries & a coke. Sat by the window. What a view, mountains through the greenery. The air quality and temp were perfect so I moved to a North table. Classy, clean and welcoming. Both the burger was exceptionally good. And something I couldn't identify name the fries even top notch. Going back to try the (loaded) chicken club sandwich on artisan bread.

Hills Kitchen is hands down one of the best burger spots I’ve ever been to! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with a warm, inviting atmosphere and a team that genuinely cares about your experience. The burgers are absolutely incredible — juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Every bite feels like it’s made with passion. Hills Kitchen is the REAL THING!! Wonderful food in a nonsense store front. Be prepared for one of the best hot sandwiches you’ve had in a long time! The burger was PERFECT as was the wonderful soft bun. Lettuce was fresh and crisp. We chose a solid Caesar salad as a side. Service was fast and friendly. We will be back on our next trip through town

Awesome joint. Great burgers, sweet potato fries are awesome, but drop the honey on them, it's not needed. Burgers cooked to perfection, we enjoyed our visit.

Came here for lunch with my husband and momma in law. We each got different menu items. We all loved our meals. Location is nice and easy to get to. Parking might be pretty busy, as it’s in a AAA & Sprouts parking lot. The inside of the restaurant has 2 tables and a cute little bar to sit. The outdoor seating is very big and nice but it was a bit chilly today. We sat at the bar table. I chose the Hills Chicken Club, added pickles. My husband chose the Hills Crispy Chicken. My momma in law chose the Pastrami au jus. We all chose fries for our sides. My sandwich was made perfect. It was so delicious!!! The fries were tasty and perfectly salted!! I tried my husband’s crispy chicken sandwich and it was just as good!! My Momma in law offered me a bite of her pastrami but I was too busy enjoying the wonderful jams & my delicious sammich!! I loved the music they had playing!! I was trying to not dance in my seat and sing along. Hahaha!! We had a great lunch here!! So happy we finally stopped by this local gem!! So sad it has taken us so long to come by!! We already talked about what we want to try next time!!

Just got my nails done at Babylon next to this hidden gem burger joint. After a day of running errands, I was starving. I went ahead and decided to give this place a try. I had the Hills Burger substituted with Chicken and some French Fries. It was delicious! I loved how they were not stingy with the amount of protein or ingredients as far as the portion goes. The fries were so good also. I'm not a fan of shoe string fries, which is why these were perfect. This place was super clean and had such a good welcoming vibe. I highly recommend this place. I look forward to coming back. It's so hard to find good food now a days. Support this business, yall.

Independent walk-in restaurant serving gourmet burgers, sandwiches, salads and sides. Inside seating is limited (2 tables that seat 4 and 5-single seats along the window) and they offer ample exterior seating for parties of 2-4. Not suitable for vegetarians. Ordering tips-call in your order for dine-in or take out. Credit card surcharge or 3% cash discount.

Phenomenal spot! Traveling by and stopped for gas. Looked to see what’s to eat near me and took a chance. Staff is very kind and professional. Food was out of this world! Was honestly expecting basic burger and fries but they have mastered something here. Biggest 5 star rating for me is CLEANLINESS!! I can’t tell you how bad it is in 2025 with other places trying to something as simple as keeping the tables clean. Let alone the restroom. Will be coming back on my next travel.

Heck where do I start you want to taste a quality burger you should come here. Put a in and out burger next to it and hills kitchen will surpass it no problem you can taste a well made burger. This guy has a passion for cooking it tastes awesome recommend the classic cheeseburger or if it just when they opened go with the breakfast burger it will not disappoint. I recommend these burgers 100%

I'm glad I finally tried this little hidden gem. I went with the Thai Beef Steak sandwich and upgraded my side to the truffle fries. The fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly with truffle and Parmesan. The sandwich is similar to a banh mi. It was filled with plenty of steak, cucumber, carrots, and cilantro. It was topped with a flavorful ginger dressing. You order at the counter, and if you are eating in, they bring your order to your table. They have a few indoor tables and also seating outside in the covered patio area. I also recommend getting one of the craft sodas they have on tap. The Pineapple cream soda hit the spot.

I haven't been here since my first review in 2022 but I have always wanted to come back and I did yesterday. With that being said, everything was delicious. The truffle Parm fries are amazing. Excellent flavor and just the perfect amount of crispy. I got the hills burger and although I didn't get a lot of the gorgonzola flavor, the patty was seasoned nicely and the bacon and mushroom and the hills sauce was delicious. I definitely will make sure not as much time passes for my next visit.

This was our third time visiting, and as usual, the experience was amazing! The staff welcomed us in immediately, rushing over from the back to the counter when we stepped in. The employee (owner?) even gave me a free drink on the house, saying he will buy my drink for me, which was so sweet! The cashier/waitress even delivered our plates to our table, and gave us homemade ranch (it's one of the best I ever had) & ketchup My brother had the West Side Burger, my bf had the Hills Burger, and I had the chicken pesto sandwich (upgraded my fries to truffle frenchies). We all loved our meals so much! My brother, who said he wasn't that hungry, devoured the entire plate (even though the portion was quite large). My bf said his burger was juicy and the fries were very well-seasoned. My sandwich was exactly what I was craving: the bacon was perfectly crispy, and there was an abundance of chicken. The truffle fries were addicting, with plenty of truffle and parmesan We came at nighttime, so it was very quiet and calm! The restaurant was clean, nicely decorated, and very cold from the AC so bring a sweater We're looking forward to coming back again :)

I love the hills kitchen burger they have here. Service is a little slow. But they have only 1 guys running the cash register taking orders, dropping off the food and cleaning the tables. So if they get busy, that guy is running around extremely busy!! Sitting outside in the shaded area is really nice. Just you get the exhaust and fumes from some of the cars at the drive thru of Del Taco. The hills kitchen burger is amazing! High quality ingredients. Even the bun is amazing. The patry is thick and juicy. The sauces are amazing and pairs well with the entire burger. The truffle fries are super crispy and you definitely get the truffle flavor. They did get rid of the actual sodas for the soda fountain. And replaced it with other carbonated drinks. The cherry and other one was good. But the root beer had no flavor what so ever. But definitely a solid burger joint!!

Good food great service could not ask for more! My favorite spot to get a chicken Caesar salad and they're known for their burgers, which are also delicious.

Food was really good, you can taste the quality definitely! Service was a little slow, I would say we waited 15-20 minutes just for two burgers, drinks are self served. Ambiance is pretty calm, small space though, good thing there is outside seating! Definitely would comeback here.

Hills Kitchen is an awesome local burger joint serving up some American comfort food classics with their own twist! This spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Inside, they have about 3-4 tables for seating and a nice outdoor patio area with about 5-6 more tables. As for their menu, they have a nice selection of different burgers, sandwiches, salads, and more! Wifey and I stopped by for lunch and decided on the Hills Burger and the Miso Salmon Salad. The portions were very generous and everything tasted fresh and elevated! Overall, we are glad we got the chance to check this spot out! All of the staff here are very friendly and accommodating. Come stop by and definitely try one of their burgers and you will not regret it!

This was our first time trying out this burger joint. We ordered the Jalapeno burger, the Chicken Chipotle sandwich, and of course we had to also try the Hill's Kitchen burger. Out of all 3, the Hill's Kitchen burger was the best! It was juicy and flavorful! The Jalapeno burger was pretty good as well, but I wish it was a little spicier and had some crunch. Fried onions or crispy onion rings would've been a great additional if that wa an option! For the sides, we upgraded our fries to truffle fries and it was so worth. The truffle fries were very delicious. Overall, great burger joint to grab a quick bite. This spot is located within a plaza so parking was very convenient and quick.

Food was DELICIOUS! I had the crispy chicken sandwich and sweet potatoe fries...and it was excellent. Chicken sandwich was flavorful with great sauce and the fries were delicious and drizzled with honey! My wife stole almost all of them from me! We will definitely be back!

Always delicious. When we order there we try something new. It gets better each time. The burgers are the best in town. The pastrami is outstanding. Everything is so fresh. Service is so pleasant & it's a cool little hangout.

Hills Kitchen: where the fries are golden perfection and the cheesesteak is...well, more like a game of hide and seek. Let's get one thing straight: do NOT come here if you're hangry or in a hurry. The food takes a while, but that's because they're actually cooking it, which I hear is a rare and beautiful thing these days. Patience, young grasshopper. Your fries will thank you. Speaking of fries--chef's kiss. Crispy, salty, hot, and fresh like they just got out of a potato spa. Honestly, if Hills Kitchen sold these fries out of a van in an alley, I'd still show up and probably bring friends. They are THAT good. I've had the burgers--they're solid. Nothing to write home about, but definitely something to eat at home if you live nearby. Recently tried their cheesesteak, which was bold of me. The meat was elusive--like it had read the menu, panicked, and tried to escape. It was a cheesesteak in spirit only. I think I caught a glimpse of beef, but I can't be sure. It may have been a mirage. All in all, Hills Kitchen is a reliable local spot. Just lower your expectations for the Philly experience and raise them HIGH for fries. If fries were a religion, I'd convert here.

Miso Salmon Salad is delicious . Definitely will be back to try the burgers! Next time!

I'm surprised at all the high ratings. We had the Hills burger and a jalapeno burger. Both super dry. Sorry to say very disappointed.

We saw this place on yelp and had to try it. We arrived about an hour before closing but the cashier was friendly. We ordered the cheeseburger and the jalapeño burger with fries. The meat was cooked well done so in some parts it was a little dry but the flavor was pretty good. The steak fries were really good. The shop is on the smaller side but there's a lot of outdoor seating. There's plenty of parking. Overall we would go back but not so close to closing time.

This restaurant has always been 5 stars. After a recent visit, i thought there was a change in ownership. It wasn't the same burger they always served. There was no taste, no seasoning, and it was a smash burger. Their old burger was a thick patty and it was absolutely delicious. Also, I observed, no gloves being worn anywhere. The young man at the register also goes into the back kitchen and after, bringing our meals to the table. We always love supporting small businesses in our own community but I do not think we will be returning

Stopped by for an early lunch at Hills Kitchen. Great customer service, couple of tables inside and outside. Ordered the breakfast burger - Chuck, smoked mozzarella, fried egg, romaine, roma tomato, red onion, hills sauce, ask for the chipotle sauce on the side. Very delicious burger. Ordered, my food and was served a fresh and hot jalapeño burger within 10 minutes. The fries were a surprise, they were probably the best part...something great is happening here. Food was brought out to me, great service. I sat on the covered patio which provided a comfortable place to eat. I will be going back.

4 Stars - Tried the Hills, Jalapeño, and West Side burgers-all delicious and full of flavor! Easily the best burgers in the area. Only downside: limited indoor seating, and the outdoor area was too cold even with heaters. Will definitely recommend to F&F!

Im really surprised by all the 5 star reviews. The cashier was super friendly and the place was clean, but thats it. I ordered the Spicy Chipotle Chicken sandwich and it was flavorless. The fries weren't the worst, but they weren't good. Half the fountain drinks were out of order but they did have can options available. $19 and I stared out the window wishing I would've gone to Del Taco

Tried this spot while visiting the area because of the good reviews. The employees were friendly and it was very clean. I ordered the spicy chipotle chicken sandwich and it was really tasty. Loaded with flavor and did not disappoint. It was also not too spicy but just good flavor. I would definitely order this again. My boyfriend ordered the fried chicken sandwich and it was a different story. It was very basic fried chicken with some jalapeños and honey on a bun. If you like friend chicken sandwiches I would not suggest ordering it here. Overall, I would go back and get the spicy chipotle chicken sandwich.

Best burgers in Rancho Cucamonga by a long shot. The Hills Burger and West Side Burger are my definite favorites. So good in fact that I've never bothered to try anything else out of fear that I won't like it as much as my standbys. I am happy to say that their fries are really good as well, so you won't have to worry about being letdown. Service is usually really friendly. The place is smallish inside, but they also have patio dining as well.

Delicious and fast service. However sometimes the order is wrong when you order over the phone but Al's not always have a great experience. The sandwiches are the best.

Food 4/5 Probably one of the better burgers I've had in Rancho. I had the signature Hills Burger. It has gorgonzola and bacon. I was a little skeptical, as it's been a while since Ive had a gourmet burger. But I was pleasantly surprised. The gorgonzola gave it a really deep flavor. The bun was soft and the meat was cooked perfectly. The fries were fresh/hot, crispy on the outside with a little seasoning and soft on the inside. I'd love to come back and try their classic. Service 3/5 It was fine nothing memorable. We ordered food, they brought it out. Their fountain machine was down, so only canned soda/drinks available. The restrooms were very clean. Ambiance 3/5 The interior was small and they had TVs going with some sports. We sat outside, just note they are close to the road and right next to Del Taco's drive through. The outdoor seating is pretty close to eachother, you probably couldn't have a too private conversation without those sitting right next to you not being able to hear. Overall, I'll be back. It's not cheap but it's a quality burger that I think is price perfect without me thinking it isn't worth it.

Love their chicken pesto and fries. Husband loves the Thai beef. Definitely our go to for to-go when we have company over - always fresh and doesn't disappoint.

My Cesar salad was very yummy. A lot of food! I also order the chipotle sandwich the sweet girl on the phone recommended. Quality was pretty fair. One meal can definitely feed two. Or split up throughout the day. Thank you again! I will be ordering the Cesar salad more often :)

We can't believe it wasn't more busy. Super clean, modern space. Although we didn't sit outside, it's super nice out there. My husband loved his burger and I tried it and loved it too. It was the Wedtside. Good quality ingredients. My salad was really good too. My only suggestion would be to add a pinch more salt to the chicken. The chipotle flavor was on point though. I'll definitely try a burger or hot sandwich next time & we were able to catch a bit of some college hoops too which was nice.

We stopped for lunch before flying from Ontario International Airport. These burgers are perfection! The service is great. The buns are perfect for burger lovers. Fries are perfect as well. The lofi music jams is great too!

Excellent Hilll's burger, Truffle fries and Cesar salad. Great Lunch place any day. We will be back to try more sandwiches and maybe the salads.

Been twice. Both times all the employees are super friendly and check back in with you. No matter what you order make sure to get the fries. I would go way out of my way to get those fries again.

This place is a gem, especially for the price. The burgers are absolutely terrific--some of the best I've had, and that's saying something, considering they're gourmet burgers. The consistency is impressive; every time I've gone, the quality has been spot on. The flavors are well-balanced and delicious, making each bite a real treat. The ambiance is okay--nothing too fancy, but it gets the job done. What really matters here is the food, and on that front, this place delivers. Please deliver to my house lol jk. In a city that doesn't offer much good food except for chains, this place stands out as one of the better spots. I'll definitely keep coming back. Highly recommend it!

Oh my gosh! These burgers are AMAZING!!! I'm a total burger girl and I gotta say these are some of the best burgers I've ever had if not the absolute best, every single ingredient is top quality and the service is unbeatable. Each time we've gone we've been impressed with the good food and great service. This business truly cares about their quality and the customer experience. I tell everyone I know about this gem. I haven't tried the sandwiches yet but my husband has an said they are just as good as the burgers

Absolutely. One of the best spots around. I've been a handful of times so far. The fish & chips, the cheeseburger is what I've had so far. I go back and forth because they are both really good. Very nice people who work here as well.

Food looked so good on the pictures needed to try it. Came in had the West Side Burger. Had the bbq on the side. Everything about it had killer flavor. Also had the Herb Beef Cheese steak. Put the chimichurri on the side because I didn't know how it would fair in flavor. It was very good. The fries very good. Love that they are hand cut style. The staff very friendly. The location is a bit small not a full sit down. It's more of a take out feel with tables so do not expect sit down service. That I don't mind. Especially when I am just wanting something quick. Reasonably priced and good flavor. This place rocks. I'll be back for sure.

Plenty of parking spots! This burger joint is a fairly small restaurant, but it does have an outdoor patio, which is pretty nice! Definitely a nice sit-down burger joint and it's pretty modern. The vibes and interior remind me of a ramen shop, especially the way they play lofi hip hop. Ordering process was easy, you order at the cashier and they bring your meal to the table when it's ready. We ordered a classic cheeseburger and a jalapeño burger for that day. Loved how clean the tables and chairs were! It didn't take too long for our meal to be ready, so it was pretty quick. The hamburger were tall, and the fries were THICCC. I actually like these type of fries the best. The fries were done really well. We also got truffle fries as an upgrade and the taste was a bit subtle? It does seem like all the truffle was very centralized to one part of the fries, but I feel like they could have tossed it around more so the entire fry can taste like truffle. The hamburger itself was also really good and cheesy! The ingredients they used also tasted very fresh. Really enjoyed my experience here! Would go again :)

I visited here during a recent business trip to Fontana. It was a short drive from my hotel, and I'm glad I decided to venture out a little as opposed to eating at one of the many overpriced restaurants by the Mills mall. It's a small place with a small menu on the wall behind the register, but they do have a modern interior. Most of the seating is outdoors on their patio and that's where most other customers were sitting. I opted for indoors in the ac. They have fountain drinks, but if you want iced tea, it is bottled. I ordered the jalapeno burger, upgraded to truffle fries and a bottled sweet tea. They did not ask how I wanted my burger cooked. I didn't see an option for adding a patty, but I imagine you can for an added cost. The burger itself seems to be about 1/3 lb fresh, but machine formed and highly compacted. The bun to meet ratio is slightly high...I enjoyed the fresh cut fries. The burger itself is pretty good.....this is definitely not fast food quality...but served fairly quickly. The jalapeños did not make this burger spicy in the least. It's a decent option for a fresh burger in the IE, but it doesn't quite stack up to the fresh burger places back in Texas, with a looser hand-formed patty and that greasy taste. I would visit frequently if I lived in the area though, as it is light years better than In n Out, for example.

The most beautiful, flavorful, delicious burgers. We ordered the Jalapeno Burger, the Hills burger, the West Side burger, truffle fries, and sweet potato fries. Everything is amazing. I do not usually take pics of my food or leave reviews, but this deserves it.

We found this place because we were looking for a good burger in our neighborhood and this one was delicious! The meat is flavorful and you can tell that it's fresh. The fries could be crunchier and lack flavor but by the time I'm done with my burger, I'm too full for the fries anyway.

Some of the best fish and chips I've ever had. It's the sauce! Salads are great and they put a nice twist on their burgers. The owner is a great guy and is there most of the time. It's nice to be able to sit outside if you want.

The food is excellent and definitely worth dining here. It truly was love at first bite it was recommended by another patron who was giving props to the chef's and I asked what they recommended. It was our first time dining just as it was theirs and this sandwich was delicious. The flavors hitting my palate as each bite melted into my mouth and each bite reminded me of homemade meals. The dishwasher definitely loved us as we cleared our plates. The service was on point as they made you feel at home and really love there craft with a welcoming atmosphere. Each person was engaged and takes pride with their work. Always checking on you to ensure you're dining experience is rememberable. The place isn't a fast food restaurant so if that's what you're looking for you might want to call ahead or just go to a fast food restaurant. All ingredients are fresh and made to order. The restaurant is very clean with both indoor and patio seating. Wish they had heating lamps for outdoor. They do have TVs both areas. Plenty of parking as it's shared with a plaza. I definitely have and will highly recommend Hills Kitchen.

Expensive but good, and the service from the cashier/ chef's assistant was good. "We made you the last batch of sweet potato fries for the day!" Is a very alarming thing to hear with a grocery store visible from the restaurant. Just go buy some more then? The Parmesan wasn't shredded but flakes, BIG flakes on the fries. Strange and almost kills the truffle fries appeal. Very little indoor seating mostly an outdoor affair. It was raining and cold but the heaters were not turned on outside. Overall could use more mature management (not personal wise but experience wise) clearly.

I'm so addicted to the chicken chipotle salad and the drunken fish and chips. My boyfriend and I order every week from here. AMAZING food and service. If you haven't tried this place yet pleaaseeee do!!!

The food was solid--fresh, healthy, and honestly tasty, which is precisely what I'm after when I'm trying to eat better. It's got that casual vibe I like, no awkwardness, just good eats. Coming back for more.
