"The JadeWaters pool complex at the Hilton will be open for the eclipse. If the weather is right, head here to watch from a floatie with a cocktail in hand. Or from the lazy river. Or hit a waterslide as the moon covers the sun. Whatever rocks your world." - Courtney E. Smith

"For evidence of the “everything is bigger in Texas” trope, look no further than this urban resort, which—with 1,606 Asian-accented guest rooms and suites spread out over 45 acres—is one of the largest in the south. Its location in the Design District, not far from the Dallas Convention Center and the office towers of downtown, makes it popular with the business-meeting crowd (as does the 600,000 square feet of on-site event space), but there’s plenty to tempt leisure travelers, too. Paired with an outdoor sculpture garden, more than 1,000 international works displayed throughout the property make up one of the biggest hotel art collections in the world.Guests can dine on everything from steak and seafood to pizzas, salads, and grab-and-go snacks at the eight restaurants and bars, or make a night of it with specialty cocktails and fine wines. They can also relax with treatments at the VSpa, or work off indulgences at the whopping 80,000-square-foot Verandah Club & Fitness, equipped with indoor and outdoor pools; basketball, squash, and racquetball courts; a cross-training and boxing gym; and more. In the summer, the sprawling Jadewaters pool complex—with lazy river, swim-up bar, 180-foot water slide, and kids’ activities—is as close as you can get to a water park in the heart of the city."

I had a wonderful 2 week stay at the hotel. Morgan at the front desk at the atrium was always so friendly, accommodating and helpful. Gina, Geneva and Christina at the bar and grill were so kind and provided excellent service. I ate most of my meals there and they made me feel like Norm from Cheers after only a few meals. I looked forward everyday to dinner time because of them. I highly recommend the hotel. Super clean room and super friendly staff.

I had a wonderful stay at the Anatole and I look forward to returning with my family! I was traveling for work and booked this hotel based on location alone. I was not expecting such a large resort and I must have looked visibly turned around because an employee approached me almost immediately to provide assistance. He led me to the front desk where James made me feel welcome immediately. James was friendly and enthusiastic and I enjoyed the time I spend with him. He upgraded my reservation to a beautiful room on the 25th floor. A huge upgrade from the interior room that I had booked. Per James’ recommendations, I visited the state of the art fitness center and had a drink at very nice bar. I explored the grounds and I look forward to returning in the future with my family to enjoy the water park and onsite arcade. I had intended to go straight to my room and I would not have had the wonderful relaxing evening that I did had James not encouraged me to explore the resort. I stay at a lot of hotels and the customer service here is top notch. I will be a repeat visitor for sure!

The service is amazing here, the location is very centralized to many different enjoyable destinations. The Tower rooms are very nice, some of the other rooms in the atrium are a little dated. But I did hear that within the next year or so they plan on renovating all of the other rooms. Some of the meeting rooms have an interesting smell to them... But are still very accommodating for many different group sizes. Overall I've enjoyed my stay and would come back.

Let me start by saying at check in, I was amazed by the customer service from Destiny! She truly is the sweetest person to talk to. We flew in from Colorado, to celebrate my daughter’s milestone 10th birthday, and we received a wonderful Starbucks gift credit for my daughter. My daughter was so happy! Destiny, your act of kindness and beautiful smile, and amazing energy, definitely touched us. You sure know how to make a family feel so welcome and special. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful and clean! My family and I will definitely be coming back! Thank you so much for a wonderful accommodating stay.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The place has a cool, artsy vibe and it felt more like walking through a gallery than a hotel. Erwin at the front desk was awesome. He gave us great local tips and helped with everything we needed. Made a big difference. I called from my room and a lady named Daniella answered. She helped me secure a late checkout. This stay was amazing. Can’t wait to go back again.

There is no heated hot tub or pool. I was freezing in the hot tub We booked over the phone as my husband wanted to give me a little break away from the kids. I wanted a massage but no one told us it would be closed for the day and you have to schedule the massages in advance so when they told us after we paid i asked to cancel. Of course, they were unwilling to refund. The only option they gave was that I could confirm or cancel the reservation but without a refund. So, I just came because im not throwing away money. Walked around upon checking in and i hate that you have to walk so far to get to the spa. We went to the indoor pool and hot tub and the hot tub was the same temperature as the unheated pool and it was disappointing because I just wanted to relax. Everything is overpriced and underwhelming. We got wraps at the little store and they are 16-19 dollars 🙃 Water was 11 dollars The bottled waters in the room are 4 but free for Hilton Honors. I will not be back might as well go to a real resort, great wolf, or epic waters I almost forgot to mention an unwanted guest. A huge roach 🪳 room 333

I had a lot of fun staying here! Our company booked rooms and venues here to accomodate hundreds of our employees - the staff here welcomed us, pampered us, and just overall made everything run smoothly for our conference. I liked the rooms and they had nice bars inside! I will say the TV didn't have a ton of channels but I barely stayed in my room for the week.

Google
Not a pleasant experience at all! I would have given 0 stars purely due to the lack of empathy or concern from management. They care about your money and not your comfort. Period. We had so many issues with our stay. So much time wasted for waiting for them to fix an issue only for the issue to return again over and over! My only reason for giving 2 stars is due to the kindness of Nicole at the front desk (she was a true gem!) and Destiny at the front desk who was also very welcoming and warm (unfortunately, she blew us off at checkout when we asked to speak with a manager. She informed us someone would contact us, and it has been over a week with nothing!) The front desk assistant director Vanessa emailed us during our stay to make certain we highlight Destiny in the hotel survey which we were happy to, but when we responded with the other issues we have had, we didn’t receive a single apology or any response back. Like I said, management doesn’t give a damn about you. Imagine paying $2500 for a weekend stay and being treated so poorly! Not to mention, for the price of a so-called 4 star hotel, there are no robes, bathroom slippers in the room. There isn’t even a pen or a piece of paper to write anything on. The hotel appears to make a ton of revenue from the daily resort passes, which leads to no care for the people actually paying ten times more to stay there. There are so many other hotels with star quality and service at this price. As for the Media Grill & Bar, I give 5 stars to Ramon, Gina & Christina!! Absolutely stellar people. True professionals with hearts of gold! They truly deserve a huge shout-out!! In reading other reviews, I see that birthday guests are being upgraded to fancy suites with birthday messages and pomp from the staff. We had the exact opposite experience in celebrating. That makes me wonder what is behind the “selective” treatment of guests? And since no manager has bothered to reach out to us, we will speak with corporate.

Yelp
Stayed here with co-workers for a conference... The first impression was "this place is HUGE!!!" Checking in was pleasant and professional and they gave me an upgrade based on my status. The unfortunate part is when I got to the room, someone was already in there - oops! I went back to the desk and a different person gave me a new room, this time in their tower, which was recently renovated. When I got to that room, it was huge! Very nicely done and furnished! It was clean and well-maintained too. Bed was comfy and the HVAC wasn't too loud/obnoxious. The property itself has lots to offer with bars, restaurants, the water park and plenty of common area to meet, chill, etc. Parking is extremely expensive and ridiculous too! When I got there it was one price and then another event came in a day later and I saw the price increase by $10+!!! Really?!?!? I think it was $63/nite during that event, which is unreasonable. For this, they're getting 4 stars instead of 5. Overall this was a nice stay and I'd return.

Yelp
Showed up at the Resort, said I was there for the Twitter conference. The concierge said, "Follow me.." Wedding anniversary 4 day weekend and we had a nice resort stay that was a blend of comfort, amenities, and personalized service. We came with a convention to dance while other conventions were there too and still left with a memorable experience: Accommodation: Cleanliness and comfort: A well-maintained, clean room with comfortable bedding is what we asked for and what we got. I loved that they were not stingy with the towels. Modern amenities: Up-to-date amenities like high-speed Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and in-room dining options enhanced the stay. Privacy and quiet: A peaceful environment free from noise disturbances is crucial for relaxation I did hate that we had an underage kid next to us but when I talked with the virtual concierge, they offered me a credit since they said that they did not know about the crying kid. Amenities and Facilities: Swimming pools and spas: A refreshing pool with a DJ, a great lazy river and relaxing spa facilities ( I did not try them) offer opportunities for rejuvenation. Fitness centers: Well-equipped gyms allowed us to maintain our fitness routines and had fun riding the Peloton Bikes together in a competitive way. Dining options: A variety of dining choices, from casual to fine dining, catered to our different tastes throughout the weekend. Activities and entertainment: Engaging activities like Top golf or live entertainment also being available enhanced our anniversary stay.

Yelp
What a hotel! There is definitely a ton to do. My husband and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary and attended the BIG salsa & bachata festival weekend over Labor Day. Pool fun, fitness options, and food galore! Yes, it gets pricey very quickly, but this is where you come for a vacation. We had a great time being able to relax on our rooms and head to the first floor for our anniversary fun, without ever having to leave the place.

Yelp
This is one of the most incredible hotels I stayed at. I believe it is the second largest hotel in Dallas (and includes a water park) but also the hotel with the most art pieces and biggest collection of art from all around the world, with over one 1,000 works. They have a great cafe open 24 hours called "Counter Offer" (joked it was a Contract Law themed place) and steak houses, a Top Golf Swing Suite, multiple ballrooms for events, a gym/sauna and more. Definitely recommend staying here next time you are in Dallas!

Yelp
So I arrived Thursday night at midnight. I guess prior to my arrival they had experienced some kind of big protest with arrest being made and everything. So when I got there I guess hotel security was a little rude the guy basically demanded that I wait next to the wall by the door till my girlfriend came down as she had checked in a few days prior because she was there for a work thing. So I had to wait for her to come down from the room to get me which was fine. I can understand that. After that the rest of the stay was nice and fairly uneventful even though there were 1 or 2 more protest while we were there. Let me set the record straight the protest were not against the hotel it was a conference the hotel was hosting. So for a god part of my stay there was upgraded security and a huge police presence. The place is very nice with a heavy Asia influenced decor which i like. It was interesting. The resort size is massive I believe there are two towers and the atrium rooms. It is laid out nicely I mean it is large enough that they have two front desk. I would definitely stay here again it was clean nice and had a lot of things available on property. There are several places to get food and there are some good choices near by. It was easy to get to by car and its not very far from Love Field.

Yelp
The Hilton Anatole will nickel-and-dime you to death. On top of the higher than average room prices (because you know, it's a "resort" and all), they'll tack on all sorts of extra fees and taxes (e.g., "Texas Recovery Fee", "State Room Occ Tax", "City Room Occ Tax", "State Sales Tax", "City Sales Tax, "MTA Tax", "Tourist PID", etc. etc). There are probably other things, but this is just what I could find information on. More examples of exorbitant levels of price-gouging: - Don't get me started on Parking. Actually, no, let's get me started. It's $30. PER. DAY. And the parking lots are absolutely atrocious considering those prices; poorly paved, poorly painted, incredibly cramped spaces, which add vehicular insult to injury if you drive anything bigger than a mid-size car. You native Texans should be embarrassed about how poorly this parking lot represents y'all's motto of "Everything's bigger in Texas." - When we went to the pool, we found out that we needed to pay an additional $27 to use said pool. Because I guess the room blocks that were set aside for us (it was for a wedding reception that was happening at the Anatole) didn't include said pool use in the price. Despite the fact that I had paid $500+ per room for our two-night stay. I think the same sort of extra charge may have been true of the fitness center, but I didn't get a chance to confirm. - The website mentions that you get two bottled waters, but the bottled waters have labels on them saying they'll charge you $4 apiece if you drink them. Petty absurdities upon absurdities in terms of finding new ways to bilk a paying customer at every corner, while hiding behind the title of "resort" for an otherwise sub-par hotel. The food was awful too. Even the business owner response exemplifies the overall trash quality of the Hilton Anatole; they'll feign concern and act like they're taking notes, but there won't be anything as far actual efforts toward service recovery. The only positives would be (1) the Atrium Lobby (it has a Vegas resort aesthetic, which is kinda impressive in its gaudy glam vibe), (2) the incredibly speedy elevator, and (3) the employees were largely friendly. Some were less capable than others, but overall, they do their jobs well. If there's ever a place where you should be sure to use a credit card instead of a debit card (so that you have the option to do a charge-back for any nonsense that they may try), this would be the place. Overall, this is probably one of the worst "high-end" hotels I've stayed at in quite some time.

Philip J.

Yelp
The hotel here is massive, I'm staying on the tower side of the building, but this place is about as large as a casino. The room is nice and large, clean, no bath tub, but a nice sized shower. Mini fridge works well, hot water in the shower has to be turned all the way up to get it hot. They have several restaurants here, and I've so far only eaten at the breakfast one called Media. Unfortunately they don't serve buffet all the time here because there aren't enough people at the hotel this week. I understand they don't want to waste food. So if you go when they're not busy, you might not have the breakfast buffet available to you. I ended up just ordering the American breakfast. They don't have sourdough as a choice for toast. Eggs and sausage were decent. The hash browns were super salty, so I only took one bite and left the rest. The mini muffin was a nice touch. Poppyseed mini muffin was good. Service was really nice, I was one of 2 patrons, so they were very attentive. They've got some giant TV screens showing sports.

Jasmine W.

Yelp
I absolutely love this hotel! The rooms are spacious and the property is more like a resort. I love that there's a Starbucks inside of this location. They also have a top golf course and a fedex facility. I would suggest bringing your own bottled water since they charge $2 for them. This was a great experience!

Harlee S.

Yelp
Yes, this is a lovely hotel and just beautiful. However, it does have some improving to do. I stayed here for a month on business and although the hotel is beautiful and the rooms are great, the walls are THIN. Just about every night, there was an event happening and there seemed to be no "lights out" time or monitoring of the loud parties and noises coming from the main atrium. One weekend, there was a huge cheerleading tournament and they would be practicing at all hours of the night and into the next morning. I would've appreciated staff telling them to keep it down or to go to their rooms, but nothing seemed to happen. To purchase food here, either from the restaurants or the grab and go bar was ridiculous. I mean, for one, the prices are outrageous, and the food is not that good. All in all, I would stay here again, but probably in the tower instead of the atrium where it's more quiet.

Yelp
When in Dallas, we always stay at the Hilton Anatole. We've been in various rooms - they have all been clean, comfortable, and nicely finished. The hotel is huge, check in can be slow, but as a Hilton Diamond member we have enjoyed the perk of priority check in as well as room upgrades. There are a few dining options on property - from a fancy high end steakhouse to a nice sports bar to a grab and go option (offering both hot and cold meals, snacks, drinks, etc). Resort guests receive access to Peppermint Park (Christmas themed games, activities, Santa) and Jade Waters (water park with slides, lazy river, water structure, etc). There are also lawn games. The biggest negative at the Anatole is self park - it's very expensive, the lots are confusing to find/narrow/and very dark. While I have never felt unsafe in their lots, it's definitely a consideration when coming in late or leaving early. That being said, we will continue to stay at the Anatole when in Dallas.

Jessica K.

Yelp
Lots to love about this hotel - and some things to be desired. Hotel is huge which is really nice - nothing ever felt crowded. We didn't have time to use the pool but the photos looked great and looked like a lot of fun! A couple dining options - we went to Media several times which is casual and easy. The 24/7 market is a joke tho - why is it $40 for a mini bottle of Kim Crawford?! Insane. More dining options would be nice since nothing is walking distance so you def need a car/uber if you leave the property. Room was spacious and clean - some wear and tear and could probably be updated in some areas (like the shower/bathroom). We come to Dallas several times a year for work and my husband always prefers this hotel - overall, it was a good experience!

Heather B.

Yelp
This is a truly beautiful hotel with great rooms. I found mine to be very comfortable.  Even the in-room coffee was good.  Personnel were very friendly.  I had positive exchanges with each employee I encountered. I found myself turned around frequently, and with the elevator hidden around a corner, it didn't help! The Media Restaurant was a huge disappointment.  If I return to this hotel, I will not dine there. I was there for business, so I can not comment on the water park.

Stephanie M.

Yelp
Visited the Anatole for business. Very large property. I decided to valet since I heard getting in and out of self parking sometimes the access gate has issues. Valet staff was very prompt each time to bring me my vehicle, which I found a plus considering it's such a large property. Tried to check in around 1pm and my room wasn't ready yet, but I was able to check in on the Hilton app later and get a digital key and pick my room! I needed to be near a certain area for meetings that were in the Imperial Ballroom on the 3rd floor on the atrium side Got a great room near the elevator, meetings and escalator down to the lobby. I believe it was room 356. If you are here for meetings be sure to ask where the meetings take place or you may be in for a long walk. There is an atrium side and Tower side. I had some coworkers stay in the Tower side. It is not nearly as up to date and they found lots of issues. Banquet food for meetings was pretty decent. Shrimp salad for lunch is pretty good! But I will recommend if that is your only plated lunch option be aware some are allergic or don't like seafood so maybe a second option should be available. I loved it though and thought it was delicious. My room was clean, quiet, no view, but that's fine I was close to what I needed. I did like that they had a big fridge and second sink outside of the restroom. This is great if you are traveling with others and need another area to get ready. Also the fridge may come in handy if you want to save money on food. The prices for food are pricey! They also have a resort pool area and spa facilities, but I believe this is an extra resort fee. I was too busy to enjoy them, but there were a lot of families enjoying them.

Yelp
Cleansiness: 1.5/5 Conference area: 5/5 Food: 2/5 Room: 1.5/5 During my recent stay at Hilton Anatole, I was disappointed to find that the hotel fell short of my expectations in several key areas. Despite its reputation as a premier destination for conferences, I found the hotel to be overpriced, outdated, and underwhelming. Just as a heads up, I did not pay for the room. Upon arriving at the hotel's main entrance, I was met with indifference from a front desk employee who barely acknowledged my presence. As I asked if this is the correct entrance, he did not even lift his eye to look at me. This lack of warmth and hospitality was not a promising start to my stay. The actual check-in process was efficient. But, the room styles are in dire need of a renovation. The decor and furnishings were dated and unappealing, and it felt like stepping back in time. The problems with my room did not end there. Thin walls and poor sound insulation meant that I could hear everything happening outside my room, including doors opening and closing at all hours of the night. The bathroom was cramped, with the door, toilet, and bath all uncomfortably close together. I was also shocked to see that the bathtub was already yellowed before I stepped into it, which is definitely a clear sign of poor maintaining. To make matters worse, the toilet in my room was constantly running throughout the day, whether or not it has been flushed. At least flushing was functional. This was a nuisance and also a concern for water conservation for the hotel. Furthermore, some of the towels provided did not appear to be clean, which was disconcerting. In addition to the issues with the room, the amenities provided were subpar, especially given the high prices charged by the hotel. I experienced sparks coming from the outlet while charging my phone, which was concerning for safety reasons. As someone attending a conference, I was disappointed by the quality of the food on offer. Breakfast options were limited and uninspiring, with only the hash potatoes and fruits standing out as noteworthy. Lunch was similarly underwhelming, the romaine lettuce and dressing was my favorite parts. I guess dessert was ok, but how can someone mess up sugar? The most shocking part, I was extremely disappointed with the lack of hygiene and safety measures in place at the hotel. During lunchtime, I witnessed a conference attendee accidentally drop one of the tongs used to grab food. To my dismay, an employee picked it up from the ground and placed it back onto the plate for others to use without even washing it. This is not only unhygienic but also a potential health hazard, and it's unacceptable that such practices were taking place. Additionally, I was surprised to learn that conference attendees were required to pay an extra $25 fee to access the pool and other amenities, which felt like an unnecessary and unwelcome additional cost. However, I must note that the conference areas were a bright spot in an otherwise lackluster stay. The conference rooms were well-appointed, spacious, and had good sound and video quality. The screens were clear and easy to read, and the overall setup of the space was conducive to productive work and collaboration. Overall, I found my stay at Hilton Anatole to be a disappointment. The hotel's outdated decor, poor amenities, and lackluster food options made it feel like a budget hotel. If you are looking for an even ok experience to match the budget of this place, I would recommend looking elsewhere. I think it is priced at over $200.

Yelp
To say we are let down is an understatement. We came here for a staycation to celebrate our girls moving to the next grade. We are currently here and might be leaving early. After paying almost 1k for the room for 3 nights, I was willing to suck that up. But then we get here, and we were told parking is 45.00 per day and we have no other options. Not to mention the resort fee we knew about at 135.00. We get to the parking machine at the parking area and lo and behold it states 24 hour parking is 30.00/24 hours. Wow! So we were either lied to, or they charge people who PAY FOR A ROOM more than people who just show up at the hotel and stay for 24 hours! Bad bad business to say the least! We should never have paid the hotel. We should have just paid as a 24 hour per day guest. We get to our room and it's less than clean. Dirty towels, used soap, etc. we decided not to say anything because our room was next to the elevator and we were exhausted trying to find it to say the least and didn't want to be told to move rooms. No signs saying where the elevator is unless you are right on it. Not to mention no signs of anything unless you are right there. It's hard to find anything in this hotel, and the lack of customer service is surprising. So we walked around like fools looking for the elevator. We had to wait to use the pool as it was closed due to rain. We finally got to the pool a couple hours before it closed for the night. The pool area was dirty, nobody was around It was cold and we were hungry, so we scanned our seat to try and get some food as it stared to do. Nobody came after 30 min. So we got up to find the snack bar. Got a small soda and 2 bags of chips. This was $18.00!!!! We originally wanted a pack of 2 Oreos, but they wanted $5.00 for TWO OREOS! Yet, we look at the menu at the pool today and low and behold, the soda is 6.00 and not 8.00 like what we were charged last night! Now they are stealing from guests! Insane. Anyway, we left for dinner because this is overly expensive for no reason (and I'm a flight attendant so stay in hotels often so I know about hotel pricing but this one is excessive). Plus not to mention the lack of food options. It's a joke. We came back and it was almost time for the pool to close so we called down to ask if the indoor pool was open. Lo and behold we get put on hold for 15 min just to be able to ask a question. Finally someone comes on. We ask if they have an indoor pool. She said yes. I said where is it located. She told us in the atrium portion of the hotel. We got ready again and made the adventure to find the pool. Again, on elevator but NO signs....shocker! Finally found a "pool elevator" which we got in and still have no clue where to go as said pool elevator still has no signs saying what level or where the pool is. This is laughable. Finally we just went to level one to go ask someone...thankfully we picked the right level! Nothing like guessing where we need to go. We find the pool under a sign saying pool. But who needs signs when you are already there right? We go inside and it's horrible! Pool water is cloudy and it is musty. Old smell and towels everywhere. No signs of any lifeguard or worker at all. So the place is a disaster to say the least. Kids jumping into the hot tub splashing water Everywhere. I'm over it. We left. This is a nightmare and we just wasted so much money plus had to pay more when we got here. We will never be back. I'm very disappointed and feel like this whole thing was a waste. Not to mention the rain the entire time we are here (obviously mot their fault, but the whole reason to come here was to use the outside facility and we can't). Never again.

Lisa T.

Yelp
Christmas at the Anatole is AWFUL...RIP OFF-STAY AWAY!!!! There is no Bavarian village-clocks on a wall and overpriced old looking snacks, the maze is a joke(a couple of parking slots with blocks and trees), there are no treats worth buying(no one was even in the 'Lodge'), it is a huge waste of time and money....$35 per person and $30 to park...the workers could care less with zero customer service....SHAME ON YOU ANATOLE.....we got there early and no one was around...we saw it all in 10 minutes after driving an hour to get there. I cannot express how awful it is. Less than zero is what this deserves!

Dena B.

Yelp
Did a resort pass cabana. $600. If it had been the first, I'd never do it again. Service was awful, prices inside, gouging. The area and pool was dirty. Lifegaurds are scarce; lazy river scary. No one cleans up after the overcrowded pool. The concrete is so hot, its dangerous. What happens in August?! Parking is $25 on top of all fees. So very disappointing. Third time with resort pass. Dont waste your yime time here

Carra C.

Yelp
Very big hotel but the staff if very accommodating and the rooms on the tower side are very nice. The water park is really for smaller kids but the pool bar and pool with the lazy river is absolutely relaxing

Yelp
I've been attending meetings at this hotel every 2-3 years since 2007. In that time, not much has changed, that's really all you need to know. In fact, the changes I observed were negative ones. Two bar/ restaurant options (a basement Irish Pub that was a nice hideaway and a late night diner) have bothered been closed. There are a lot better places in and around Dallas to stay. Frankly the only reason you should ever find yourself here is if you're visiting with a large group meeting or attending a conference. Beyond that, there is no reason to be here. Let's look at a couple of reasons why, 1) Location- this hotel is very isolated, surrounded by a freeway, a few other hotels and office buildings. To get any place interesting, you need to Uber. There are no good dining or drink options that are a reasonable walking distance from the hotel. When I'm staying someplace for a conference, I like having the opportunity to step away for a meal or drink that gets me a break from the crowd. That's not really possible here. 2) Rooms- Other reviewers have hit this one the nose, at least on the Artium side, the rooms are old, dated, with run down fixtures, carpet and overall condition. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and if you're on the side above the Media Bar (it will get a separate review) the rooms are very noisy. I was told the tower rooms have been renovated recently but I can not confirm. 3) Food- The banquet food that we were served was unimpressive. There was a glaring lack of variety over the 3 days of my stay. I don't blame that on the hotel, this was more likely the fault of our meeting planners. The quality, on the other hand is 100% on the hotel. At breakfast, the scrambled eggs could be best described as Egg Smoothies...they were way too watery. Over the lunches, the chicken was consistently bland. Worst of all was the one sit down dinner we had. The plated dinner featured a small piece of fish and a beef short rib. No one at my table took more than one bite of the fish. My piece of beef was 80% fat..gross 4) Staffing- The hotel was grossly understaffed, especially the bar staff in the evenings. Most nights the Gossip bar only had one bartender, the wait for drinks was horrible. The ones that were working there were rude. As we were closing a tab one night. The bar tender told us we had to tip in cash because tipping on the credit card would require to split the tip with the entire banquet staff. Sorry, that's not my problem, I shouldn't be inconvenienced because of your management's policy. Another night we tried to go to SER to have a drink and enjoy the view from the 28th floor. We had barely taken a step off the elevator before a manager was shooing us away because the bartenders were backed up. We could see there were open tables. When we inquired about them, we were told that even if he did seat us, we'd not be able to get a drink because the tenders were 40 drinks behind. For the life of me, i don't understand how a hotel can book a meeting for over 1000 people and then not adequately staff their bars and restaurants to support the size of the crowd they'd be hosting. The same night we were turned away at SER, we also were turned away from the Media bar, again, because staff couldn't keep up with demand. Thank goodness for the 24 hour coffee shop/ bar. It was the only place to get a drink. There is a 0% chance that I'll ever stay at this hotel again, unless I'm booked to attend a corporate function in the future. Otherwise, there is no reason to do so.

Yelp
Location: 2/5 - It is near the freeway, which is convenient for driving, but if you don't have a car you won't find anything at all within walking distance. There's zero dining options outside of the hotel itself, which is very limiting. If you do have a car then it's probably fine. Room: 2/5 - Got a newly refurbished room in the Tower, which was actually fairly nice. However, the room did not have an exterior window, which was very disorienting. Not having any natural light made it unpleasant to be in the room and made it hard to fall asleep at night and wake up in the morning. I've never in my entire life stayed in a hotel room without a window and I hope to never do it again. They really should warn you ahead of time and probably charge significantly less for such a room. Food: 3/5 - The Media Grill was very bad (I have a separate review of it). The Counter had quick food which was actually pretty decent, including pizza, coffee, sandwiches, baked treats, etc. There is also a nice sweet shop with soft serve. Waterpark: 5/5 - Really nice waterpark included with the stay. Has two waterslides, a large lazy river, pool, and other activities. It wasn't too busy at all when I visited (no lines for the waterslides). This was the best part of the hotel.

Yelp
I have never stayed at a hotel with staff that are so unwelcoming and treat you as if they are very uninterested in you. The only great staff is the bell service staff and the staff at the valet desk. They were super friendly and very helpful even if we did not use the valet! They gave us water as we water for our car from the sel car lot. ALL of them were kind and respectful. The pool staff at the food court were ungrateful and required a mandatory tip. The food was fair but way overpriced. The most rude person was the man in the suit at the front desk. He was a tall black man and I wish I had asked for his name. He was very rude and said "you're good" when we checked out. No professionalism at all. He seemed to be in charge as he was the only one in a suit. I have traveled over seas, most of the USA and have never been so unhappy with my stay. Listen ip Hilton, we have other choices!!

Yelp
I was expecting the best service since it's a Hilton... but everything is so automated, I hardly saw any hotel employees. You check in online, get your room keys online and even checkout ... guess what... online! I did request for maid service but didn't receive any. Here, you have to request it... online! But by the second day, I just thought, wth... I leave in a couple of days. Conference rooms were nice and big. Make sure you bring your winter coats because it's freezing.

Yelp
This hotel was quite the happening place in the early to mid 1980s. It is not that scene with the beautiful high end restaurants and art. But Hilton has maintained the property. It is conveniently located next to the design district and is a large property. The rooms were somewhat updated and nice. Parking is kind of a cluster--on one lot you needed the key card to get into the parking but not at the exit, at another lot, you needed the key for the exit which is a challenge when you have checked out. We did not eat at the property and were only there one night so didn't use any of the amenities but the staff seemed attentive and well trained. I have stayed there a few times since the glory days and they are keeping up with this massive property. It is not a high end luxury hotel but a definitely nice stay. Would return.

Yelp
This is a beautiful hotel and the front desk attendant (Spencer from Chicago) was super nice and helpful (he gets 5 stars). I would have given a solid 5 to the hotel if it wasn't for their room service shenanigans. I got in late from the trade show and needed a bite so I picked up the phone and pressed the button for Room Service. Nothing happened. I tried the front desk, and nothing happened. I pulled the end table away from the wall, checked to make sure the phone was plugged in and tried a few more extensions to get nothing in return. Using my cell I called the front desk where they told me to use the QR code on the menu. OK... So I do but it won't charge to my room, so I call the front desk again and they shrug at me and tell me I have to walk down and order from there. That is not room service. I am in my PJ's and I am not putting clothes on again! I remember I got a text from the hotel so I try that way, and they tell me to call the front desk - I tell them I already tried that. They then tell me I have to walk down. I tell them that is not an acceptable answer. In the meantime I give up and just order the food and pay for it with my credit card. The next text I get, they say Room Service is down and I cannot order. This is while I am enjoying my wings, so.... We all love technology, but when it's not working right we need to have a process in place that involved a human speaking to a human and getting the job done, people!

Yelp
Beautiful Hotel, they were friendly. I didn't experience the amazing buffet because it was holiday season and they don't do the buffet for the whole month of Dec. The pool area looked nice but it was closed. Room was so comfy but we got the loudest room with ax unit and some other noise coming from hall way. I loved the view and I was so tired from not having much sleep due to noise, I should have called and let them know but I did not. Overall, I would try it again in a better room and when I can have the buffet since I heard it was amazing.

Yelp
Nice, clean hotel with spacious rooms and fairly quiet. The ballrooms are a great meeting space and there's lots of tables and chairs in the entry area for people to sit, relax, chat, have coffee. They have trees inside the atrium, giving it a spacious, comfortable feel. The inside has a beautiful atrium and lots of room for conference space. It's not that safe walking around the neighborhood, but the hotel offers enough that you don't need to venture far if you are at a conference. It's close to downtown, but I wouldn't stay here to enjoy downtown scenery since it feels somewhat isolated.

Yelp
All staff were very courteous and helpful. I was not impressed with the rooms. For the price I expected more. The food at neither restaurant was tasty at all. That was very disappointing. There are no microwaves in the rooms.

Shelly M.

Yelp
This hotel is absolutely beautiful at every turn and I'd definitely recommend. There is a Starbucks in the lobby, two delicious restaurants, and the buffet breakfast is delish. The lobby/atrium area is the most relaxing peaceful place.

Yelp
Was told if I wanted a city view room I would have to wait, which a gladly did. Got my text saying my room was ready and did not get a city view. They did not even give me any options. Was given a view of the highway. When I called they said that was closest they have. I understand when rooms with a view are sold out. Be up front at start and do not mislead. That's all I am asking.

Yelp
Less than a year after swearing I would never stay at a Hilton again due to the horrible experience I had last time ... I found myself forced to stay at the Anatole, due to an event ending late at night. I wasn't expecting much honestly, so I got more than I expected. I reserved a tower parlor room with a Murphy bed. Possibly because it was a Murphy bed, the mattress was less squishy than a normal hotel bed and I woke up with less back pain. The room was well kept. I did notice a few dents and scratches in the furniture but the design accepts weathering well so I wasn't bothered. The Anatole is close to many restaurants and amenities. I just bought water and snacks from a grocery store and ate elsewhere rather than rely on what was available on campus. My only big issues with my stay were, I could not get hot water in the shower, and the parking meter never accepted my key card. The Anatole went a long way towards redeeming Hilton establishments in my eyes.

Yelp
One word DISGUSTING! If you are looking to pay for a four star hotel but want Motel 6 vibes. This is the best hotel for you. The décor throughout the hotel is completely confusing. You have "Trendy Modern" with Asian inspirations. The hallways have a old dirty mop water/mildew smell and that continues into the rooms. The bed and sheets weren't the greatest either. The bathroom was just gross. All of the outlets were worn out and dangerous to use. If this is your vibe your going to love it. But if it isn't look into other Hilton accommodations.

Yelp
Piss poor service around the resort pass, bar staff and waitress ok but the lifeguard was an ass and thinks he's from bay watch Don't waste your time here go somewhere else

Yelp
My partner booked a night here for my birthday staycation. The hotel is huge so you'll need to make sure if you're booked at the Atium or Tower. Check-in was smooth. The rooms are just a bit dated but nothing too overwhelming. We had a nice view of downtown from our room. The amenities are awesome! We visited Jade Waters twice and had an awesome time. It's a mini waterpark with shorts waits that's clean and really fun. Parking is expensive but typical for these types of hotels. All in all I enjoyed myself throughly. Nice for a staycation for a date night with or without the kids in the hotter months.

Yelp
Just to be clear, I did not stay at this hotel but I was there for three days for a large sorority conference. Unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. This hotel is quite large, but I found that the restaurant was not equipped to handle the volume of guests. The food quality was disappointing, and I encountered issues with undercooked chicken wings, which had to be sent back not once, but twice. Overall, I was disappointed with the dining experience at the Hilton Anatole, and I hope they can improve their food quality and service in the future.

Yelp
We made a reservation for the Presidential Suite, paid for it in full in advance. They cancelled it when due to a medical emergency when we didn't show up the first day. 1.5 hours, 3 different phone calls I was finally told our room was "reinstated". Hilton staff kept referring to managers, didn't have answers, and refused to give names when asked. We arrived to find out that was not true, our room had not been reinstated. After much argument the manager agreed to reinstate the room and once again we were told a card needed to be put down for incidentals but otherwise that was it. Next day we check out and there's been an additional room fee of $250 posted on our bill. This was bs, but what made the whole experience worse was how absolutely rude and indifferent the managers were. No effort to solve for an issue without being forced into it. Just as bad as the managers service was the room itself. When I sat on the sofa my legs rested against the frame, I ordered fruit and didnt get what was advertised. False advertising sums up every part of the experience. Worst hotel experience all the way around.

Yelp
Room was not ready on time and when it was ready they didn't even bother to let me know even though I was sitting in the lobby directly in front of the desk. The rest of the place doesn't warrant a review at this point since it is geared towards events and unless I'm being paid I would not come back here.

Yelp
Upon checking in, this hotel authorized 2 charges of almost $400 each which held my funds. There was nothing they could do, the bank said they ran too many auths. I was upset but moved on w the day happily. Upon leaving they charged a 3rd authorization. So the amount being held on my account was over $1100 for a $390 charge. This caused us to have no food money and limited the plans we had for services there. It caused a lot of issues in my account w incoming bills as it held for several days. The response I get is this "Good day Ashley, Unfortunately, with the authorizations only being authorizations, there's not much we can do to assist, as the authorizations drop from the hotel at the time of check out and sit solely with your bank. Should you have a charge you are needing us to review, I'll be happy to review for you! I do apologize that your card was over-authorized, but happy to assist in any way that I can! I have also added the Director of Front Office, Alexander Brandt, to assist you with any questions as well. Best Wishes, Samantha Server Accounting Manager samantha.server@hilton.com" That was the point, their staff overran authorizations and this hotel did nothing to compensate the issue. My entire trip was ruined. They're too busy blaming the bank for their multiple authorizations. The point is, they should have qualified employees who do not make 3 authorizations, tying customers funds up that long. Instead of a solution , discounted room maybe, reimbursement of my room since the trip was ruined ... they're arguing THEIR mistakes and trying to place blame elsewhere like the bank. I worked for a bank for years , I know the process, despite that I still called the bank and the authorizations were put through on the hotels end. I do not recommend staying there again, they're unwilling to work with customers and I've never seen such a thing handled so unprofessionally w blaming scapegoats. Devastating to me and my family, what a ruined trip! This is common according to previous reviews and I do not want to discuss it so future guests won't suffer. I want this made right by me. Talking isn't working clearly. What is this hotel going to do to makeup for their errors that affected my family and I.

Yelp
I stayed here for my agency Conference. First impression is that this place is the size and feel of a Las Vegas Resort but without the Casino. I had never been here before so I was very impressed with the ambience of this hotel. There are two separate areas for rooms. The Atrium and the Tower. The Atrium is smaller, about 10 floors and a bit older. The Tower is newer and twice the size. I stayed at the Atrium and even though it's a bit older I found it very nice. The carpeting in both the rooms and hallways were very cushiony. And all these rooms are modern. If you download their app, you can use a digital key on your phone instead of getting a room card key. You can also use the app to check in and out or to upgrade your room if you wish. There is also a great pool complex attached to this hotel. Unfortunately my conference did not allow me the time to enjoy this feature. As nice as this hotel is there are a few downsides. For some this might not be big deal but none of the rooms have microwaves in them. They have mini fridges but no microwaves. It wasn't just me; my co-workers were saying the same thing. Now the room did have a safe in it. Again much like Vegas hotels. Also, the ice bucket may have been the smallest ice bucket I've ever seen in a hotel of this size. It was a pain to make multiple trips to the ice machine. But the biggest issue I had with this place was the parking. First you have to pay for daily parking upfront depending on how many days you are booked. Now I didn't have a problem paying but the problem was the lots themselves. First, they are all controlled with an automatic ARM that requires a room key or paid receipt to get in and out of. The problem was MANY people were having problems getting the thing to open up. In the days I stayed there, I don't know how many times I had to wait behind a line of cars waiting to get out because the ARM wouldn't open and someone had to come over and help out. The staff was very helpful except for one person helping me with the parking issue; she gave me a look like, "What's your problem?" Also you figured with a hotel of this size and elegance that the lots were be more spacious. Not at all. It's very close quarters to drive through each row of spaces. One more thing that was a bit disappointing; there is no complimentary breakfast here. They have a couple of restaurants within the hotel but they are pricey as you can imagine. Aside from the parking issues, I found this to be a very nice stay and hope in the future I can take more advantage of their amenities.

Yelp
Man it's been a minute since I stayed at a hotel! We are talking pre-covid when I was a frequent traveler. Even worked my way up to diamond status with Hilton. I stayed here while attending a large expo as part of my job. Room was clean, top floor status in the atrium, and mobile check in was a breeze. The digital key you can use on your phone is such a great tool. Didn't get to enjoy any of the additional amenities the hotel had to offer as my stay was short, but I'd definitely return. This place is HUGE! A fantastic spot for large expos or events. Plenty of parking and security is constantly monitoring the lot. Every staff member was friendly and accommodating. Look forward to a return visit.

Yelp
This hotel is huge and has potential but is super outdated . I didn't appreciate the rust in the showers, the ripped bed sheets, and stains on linen. I was caught in a snow storm so my choices were limited, however, they need more food options that aren't so expensive and not to mention bland. It's a great space for conventions and social hour but to stay and be comfortable I don't see that happening . I question the cleanliness to this hotel. I honestly can't believe it's a Hilton.

Yelp
Is such a nice place i'm really Is enjoyed myself... The staff are so helpful they have the best restaurant in there.. I will definitely stay there when i'm in town again..

Yelp
Our last stay there! This hotel only really wants company/conference business and couldn't care less about the couples who are staying for a few days. Our room on the 10th floor was as far away as possible from the elevator, corner room and altho room was large it had the most impossibly small bathroom EVER! You had to go into the toilet area sideways and shut the door or you couldn't sit down. The shower was next to the toilet and again, the door had to be shut or you couldn't get in. With NO air vent in there it got steamy and muggy immediately. The downstairs restaurant had indifferent staff and when I asked for a decaf coffee after my meal I was told "we don't have coffee". I think I looked puzzled and he said "I can get you a cappuccino" and I said that was fine be sure it's decaf. It was NOT! I was up half the night with acid reflux and heartburn. My brother in law & wife met us there for dinner and were charged for parking even tho they were going in to eat. How cheap! On our way to the Arboretum the next day we asked the Concierge where the pool was located and she had no idea - told us to see the front desk. We only go up there once a year and this has been our go-to but I'm done.

Yelp
I was parking the car and my wife was checking in. She was greeted by a very rude individual behind the desk. When I walked up, he changed his tune. He purposely wrote down the wrong room number on the card sleeve. Never again will we stay here.

Yelp
Fair warning: Very very poor management at Hilton Anatole. First, timely checked-in at 4:00 pm for room after very long travel day. Now, past 5:15 pm as I deliver review and the room is still not ready. Second, the hotel bar - "Media Bar & Grill - is extremely loud in the "bar" area (Sunday football on screens). So, My guests and I asked to sit at one of the several open tables in the quieter area adjacent to the loud bar. Answer: No, because those tables are for those who also order food, not just beverages. The Anatole Clown Show management does not understand that more revenue stems from beverage (alcoholic & otherwise) purchases. Now, half hour later the grill tables still remain empty. And my hotel room still is not ready ... UPDATE: with room keys in hand, my wife and I walk into a room with two small beds. Pesky check-in as husband & wife with same last name is a helpful hint to most thinking hoteliers to affirm whether a room with a king size bed is desired. However, the obvious is beyond the grasp of Sad Hilton Anatole.

Yelp
I do bit recommend this hotel if you are traveling as a family. it is incredibly expensive, the food options are abismal for a hotel if that size, the food they do have is awful, and the staff was nowhere to be found. We were there over the Easter weekend, the hotel was filled to capacity, and they only had one person at the front desk and no one at the concierge desk. if the hotel is full, you will wait a long time for the elevator (upwards of 30 mins). The pool is fine, but I am pretty sure you can buy a day pass. I continue to be disappointed in the Hilton brand, especially when it comes to their large resort hotels.

Fabian R.

Yelp
I attended a conference hosted here for 3 days. I will start by saying this place was amazing. The decor, rooms, restaurant , and hospitality really blew me away. They made sure everything was taken care of and were prompt to all my requests. During the conference the staff was very attentive and courteous, making sure all things were in there place. Parking is $35 daily if staying overnight so keep that in mind. This location is located right off the freeway so very easy to see. I will definitely stay here again.

Yelp
Lovely hotel. We are enjoying it here! It is beautiful, and the resort is a super plus for us. Breakfast at the Terrace was perfect! Clean areas with great wait service. There are pancakes, bacon, sausages, fruits, oatmeals and cereals, and an omelet station. During our time at the water park, we enjoyed the JadeWaters bar and grill and had their double patty hamburgers....you must try these! I haven't had a burger this juicy in a long time! You can also order chicken tender/fries/turkey sandwich...they are all freshly made. Was NOT impressed with the Counter Offer, the hotel's grab n go market. Today we ordered a four cheese pizza, and didn't realize that it did not come with any marinara sauce on it. So I asked if I can have a side of it - and the manager (?) said they don't give it out, it's only for the Margarita pizza. Ok, not impressed. Don't they know a SIMPLE gesture of giving a customer some marinara would go a long way?? One of the other ladies behind the counter was famished as she told her male colleague she was so hungry she was just going to help herself with the chicken tortilla soup and poured herself a large portion. I get it, but something seemed off. The luke warm/cool shower was tough to get my kid to shower in. I called maintenance and they came and fixed it right away. Other than this...the hotel I feel is a gem, worth staying here esp if you have kids.

Yelp
I recently stayed here for a work meeting. The hotel overall is very nice but our guest room did clearly show its aging. We reserved a room with 2 beds due to one of my children traveling with me. When we walked in the room I laughed as the beds looks like miniatures. It's a good thing my spouse wasn't with us as there in no possible way two adults could fit comfortably in one of the beds. I think they were full sized beds. Although small they served the purpose for the 2 of us. The bathroom showed the most wear of its age with the ceiling panel hanging and the door severely warped. We opted out of daily housekeeping service but when we had a need they sent someone right up. The a/c was loud and randomly thumped but still kept the room cool and comfortable. (I got used to the noise and was settled in so we didn't report it) The meeting space was great and we were safely spaced out at our tables. Our meals were served buffet style but by the staff behind plexiglass dividers as we chose our options. The hotel itself is large and has a lot of artwork, sculptures, etc. that are fun to explore. We even found the 2 pieces of the Berlin Wall that the hotel has on display. I felt like I was in a museum. You definitely should venture all the main halls and atriums to see all the various art.
