5 Exciting Things To Do & Eat Between August 18th-22nd

"If our enduring obsession with The Great British Bake-Off has taught us anything, it’s that great macarons are extremely difficult to make, which makes this macaron-making class all the more tempting. Run by a trained pastry chef, you’ll learn the art of piping, baking, and assembling your very own macaron set. The event is this Sunday, August 22nd in Burbank at 5pm and tickets are $65." - brant cox

One of the Worst Hilton Stays I've Ever Had I’ve stayed at many Hilton properties over the years, but my experience at the Hilton Garden Inn in Burbank, CA was by far the worst. We arrived on time for check-in, only to be told that all the clean rooms had already been given away to guests who checked in early. We had to wait well past check-in time, which was incredibly frustrating and unacceptable for a brand like Hilton. To make matters worse, the woman at the front desk was extremely unprofessional—raising her voice and cutting my husband off mid-sentence when he tried to ask a simple question. Her attitude alone left a terrible impression. As if that wasn’t enough, the phone in our room randomly rang at 7 AM with no explanation or reason. It was an unnecessary disruption and just added to an already disappointing stay. The room we stayed in was very out dated, the shower had seen better days and the control for the AC barely worked to adjust the temperature and fan speed. It was clean at least. I used my Hilton Honors free nights for this visit and feel like they were completely wasted. I will not be returning to this location and will seriously reconsider future stays with Hilton because of this experience.

We had to leave the Amtrak train from San Francisco to LA at Burbank due to the LA curfew which encompassed both Union Station and our booked and pre paid hotel. It was literally last minute and we were very stressed and exhausted when we arrived. The assistance and consideration we received from Hilton management and staff throughout our stay was truly exceptional. Mike the manager, went above and beyond to accommodate us after an unfortunate experience with a reseller our first night. All of the staff were so friendly and caring but a special mention to Denise on reception and Caterina in the bar for all their warm assistance. Rooms were large and spotlessly clean and hotel is also walking distance from some wonderful restaurants. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the super friendly city of Burbank. 💕

So my experience was my room was clean as well as the floor and there was no unpleasant odor (which is always great) the bathroom on the other hand had quite a few spots with hair on the shower wall and toilet lid. The 3rd floor hallway has some blackened spots in front of entry ways that could be cleaned to maintain a Hilton look. We liked the breakfast, there was a nice size selection to choose from which was great.

Burbank is a nice place to stay overall. The hotel is clean, and the staff are kind and helpful. However, the rooms are in need of renovation-the curtain in our room was ripped. There's no complimentary breakfast or 24-hour coffee service, and parking is not free.

I had a fantastic stay. I had been made the guest of the day and was upgraded to a suite. The suite's bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was huge. I had a decent view and everything about the room was clean and well taken care of. There were many local eateries to walk to from the hotel.

Of all the places I stayed during my trip to Southern California, this was the cleanest and most comfortable. The location is great and central to most areas in and around the San Fernando Valley and L.A. The immediate area near the hotel has great restaurants within walking distance. It’s also very conveniently located near Burbank Airport. The only negative is not having an area for pets to do their business adjacent to the hotel. You need to cross a busy street to a lawn area. This is not very practical or particularly safe, especially at night. Having a small designated grassy area on the property that’s sanitary would be my one recommendation. I will definitely stay here again the next time I’m in L.A.

This is a great location! Walkable to restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. We easily took an Uber ride to Hollywood Blvd. ||Staff was professional, helpful, and courteous. Check-in was quick and easy. |Thanks Nayna for your help!||Room and facilities were clean. Room floors are hardwood vinyl, which we always prefer to hotel carpet. Beds were ok. We stayed from Wed to Sun, so hotel was quieter on the week nights. We didn’t hear hallway noise, but Fri and Sat night we heard the guests next to us (TV, talking, baby crying) and footsteps above us. Noise settled around 10.||Overall, we would recommend based on the hotel cleanliness, staff professionalism, and location.

Great Hotel!!! It's very clean and well-kept. The ambiance is great and it has a relaxing vibe. The Hotel/Rooms are the perfect place to stay when visiting Burbank or the surrounding areas. It has a great pool and a very nice bar. The lounge area is comfortable and they serve some good food and there are a couple of TVs to watch some sports. There is a nice fire pit in the front which is a great place to spend some time at night. The staff members are very friendly and greet you with a smile. Thank you for the pleasant experience at your hotel. I will be returning! Enjoy! #jsho

Yelp
This was a very cool hotel and a great location in Burbank and we enjoyed our stay here for several days in May 2024. I left my fitness ring charger in the room when we left. I contacted them the next day and sent them a mailing label to send it back to me, but they sent me a Apple Watch charger instead, even after I sent them a photo of the item I left in the room. It was kind of disappointing that they weren't able to fix it, but it was my bad for leaving it behind. The hotel itself was very nice and the staff was attentive and punctual at all hours of the day and night and we would totally stay here again. Next time we return to Burbank.

Yelp
Hilton Garden Inn Burbank Downtown is located conveniently off of US I-5 in historic downtown Burbank. Location is close to attractions. We stayed here for one night over the holidays on our way to San Francisco. Our room had two beds which was perfect for our family of three. The room was clean and comfortable. After driving all day, we slept pretty hard that night. We had breakfast at the restaurant downstairs the next morning. Breakfast is not complimentary, but fairly priced. We settled our bill and checked out shortly after. Parking is also not complimentary. I think it was $20-25 per night. The staff was pleasant and helpful. We would stay here again.

Yelp
Cool hotel. Parking was underground and check in was super easy through the app on my phone. You can check in on your app, then you can use your phone as a digital phone key to access the elevator and your room too which is pretty neat. You could also select which room to stay in out of all rooms available while checking in as well. Note that when you're picking your room to pick one near the elevators. Because I didn't on accident. The room itself was pretty good. Think of a 4 star hotel, the room was pretty similar. No ruined flooring or suspicious stains or used needles. Bathroom was pretty clean as well so I didn't feel sketched out on using the towels. Can't comment on the pool or reception because I didn't go to any of them.

Yelp
Booking- We were going to Universal Studios for the opening weekend of Super Nintendo World. I had enough points for 2 nights free as a Hilton rewards member, yay! I was in the middle of booking the Hilton/ Los Angeles at Universal City because it was dog friendly and walking distance from the park. However, in the middle of booking, someone took the last room so we ended up booking Hilton Garden Inn Burbank which was also dog friendly. Checking in and parking- Like all Hilton hotels, Checking in was pretty easy and they were friendly. The front desk informed us there is no housekeeping service if we stay less than two nights. Standard. Parking was $20 a day in an underground garage. Room- Nice walk in shower. Shampoo, conditioner, lotion provided in large reusable bottles. I read reviews that people's rooms didn't have fridges or microwaves. Ours did. It was just hidden in the console. Walls are very thin. A lady had a full phone conversation until almost 1am. My chihuahua kept barking to tell her to shut up because he is on a sleep schedule of 10pm. Location- Just a few blocks from downtown Burbank and the mall, great neighborhood to walk my pups around in the morning and at night. My phone was dead so I barely had photos of anything. We were a quick 15 minute lyft ride to Universal Studios. Our lyft driver was Kiko Ellsworth from Bad Boys II. Located in downtown is a popular eatery called Granville which Zendaya has been spotted at and Artilice Patisserie who had beautiful entremets and who provided pastries to the grammys. Service- Everyone was nice. However, I was already informed they weren't going to service the room and if we needed anything like towels, just go to the front desk, yet they called me telling me I had asked for my room to get serviced. We left our pups for the day while we were at Universal, but we left a sign saying furry friends inside. Amenities- I prefer Homewood Suites to Garden Inn because Homewood Suites includes breakfast and Garden Inn is an extra charge. There's a pool area which we saw a lot of families swimming in, laundry room, business center and gym. Parking- Extra $20 a day.

Yelp
We stayed at this Hilton as it was one of the options for the Universal Hotel package. We had a late flight, and the staff was very helpful over the phone and through in-app messaging to make sure there was a note that we would be checking in very late. Check in was smooth, and we were assigned a nice room on the 4th floor overlooking the pool. The room was clean, modern and had a good amount of towels and toiletries. The surrounding area had a lot of restaurants; we even walked to a few! The breakfast was a bit pricey so we skipped it, and the wifi made you sign in each day which was a bit annoying, but nothing major. Some of the staff could have been a bit friendlier, but overall our hotel stay wasn't bad.

Yelp
I have been here for the last three nights, and it's just a very average hotel with very few amenities. The air conditioning in the room is so loud, bring your ear plugs! The Internet is intermittent and you have to keep logging in. Overall. It's just very basic and the area is average, I guess if you need to go to IKEA or buy a Tesla, it's a convenient place to stay! The bathroom has zero amenities. It's a low- mid level as most Hilton Garden Inn's are. Disappointing for the Hilton brand At least I got points! Don't plan on having breakfast there after 7:30 am because they are out of everything. They do have one Peloton bike in their lame gym on the second floor. That's worth 1 star.

Yelp
Very clean hotel with plenty of amenities, underground parking (for a fee), and a great location. It is walking distance from many restaurants and shops. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They have a lobby bar and breakfast as well (also for a fee). It's close enough to downtown and all of LA's main attractions but far enough away to not have to deal with too much traffic.

Yelp
This LOCATION is perfect for a trip to Universal Studios! It's 13 minutes away driving and best of all , the route avoids the freeway! You take a few turns on the main streets. It was 5 minutes walking distance to downtown Burbank , which is full of restaurants and a mall! So many food choices nearby .. from Wokcano, Granville, to Chipotle, Dunkin. The mall has a movie theater, Macys, Fashion Nova , and more! The rooms are BASIC! So if you going just to sleep, it's fine. It's clean , but has a weird chemical smell when you first walk in. The beds are fine. Fridge and microwave are good. I wouldn't' trust the cleanliness of the Keurig. The pool is small and had cloudy water both days, we skipped it. There were several kids swimming. The hot tub fit about 4 people and was full both nights. Parking is $20 per night , and is underground with a 10.5 clearance. You pay for parking at check in in the lobby. There is no gate or attendant. The housekeeping staff uses the same elevator full of people with their dirty laundry bins. They seemed overworked but polite. There is a little snack area in the lobby with drinks and minimal snacks.

Yelp
Worst place we ever stayed in. The most uncomfortable beds and pillows, no ventilation, water pressure was so bad slow and Barry any water coming out, the shower tub was broken so the water would fill up when showering parking was expensive just an absolute horror no thanks won't be staying again for $894 is pure robbery

Yelp
I think it's only right to upgrade to a 5-star as Hilton resolved the issue for me. As a long time member of Hilton hotels I appreciate that. So my review has been updated to reflect the excellent customer service I've received.

Yelp
I recently stayed here for three days and I was not happy with the appearance of our room. I feel like when it comes to hotel reviews that my Yelp family is letting me down or maybe my standards are too high. I would not stay here again unless I was guranteed a newly rennovated room. My room had so many scuff marks and stains on the walls. There was visible trash and lent on the floor that was such an eye sore. One of the pillows looked to have make-up stains on it. These are simple things that make all the difference when a room is already outdated. I did love the hotel location. Plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance.

Yelp
The room was very nice not much outdoor nose I can here the person next to me. But I am already awake 8 am the room was clean and comfortable seems like there is a lot of new employees Because they couldn't really answer the questions I had they were simple answers breakfast was a little busy for Christmas but a simple how was your food do you need anything else a check up on my food makes all the difference in the world because my eggs or not cooked how I really wanted them to but I ate it anyways the hashbrowns were not crispy like I asked they were kind of uncooked and no flavor but it's ok there is salt and pepper on the tables Long story short I would stay here again but I will get the food and eat it in my room

Yelp
Terrible location, manager was rude and racist. The people at the front desk don't know what there doing and did not help me at all. I had a reservation and they couldn't honor it. Parking is bad and just don't want be at any garden inn ever. Manager needs to go very bad man should even have a manager position as well don't like anything about this place. Too bad I actually wanted to like this place I guess it's not for me. Whatever you do stay away other locations the Marriott is better go there.

Yelp
Our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Burbank, California took an unexpected turn when we checked into Room 532 and encountered a disconcerting structural issue. Initially, I mistook the loud vibration for my sister's heavy steps, prompting multiple calls for her to tread lightly. However, the unnerving intensity of the vibrations, especially near the television area, made it a petrifying experience to navigate that part of the room. We even entertained the absurd notion that the console was to blame until an unsettling revelation occurred. Placing my luggage next to the TV console led to an alarming discovery as it began rolling towards the bed of its own accord, leaving us all stricken with fear that the floor might give way at any moment. What was meant to be a joyous family rendezvous from overseas turned into two anxiety-ridden nights, with the looming specter of potential danger overshadowing our visit. As if to compound our apprehension, the final night brought a harrowing sensation of sliding off the edge of the bed, which served as a stark reminder of the urgency in addressing the glaring structural issue. Eager to find a resolution, I promptly reached out to the management, only to be met with the disheartening prospect of a 3-7 day response time. Despite relaying our distress to the receptionist, the assurance of an engineering assessment post-checkout, while appreciated, did little to assuage our immediate concerns. Room 532's unsettling plight at the Hilton Garden Inn in Burbank, California underscores the pressing need for immediate attention to safeguard the well-being and tranquility of future guests. This nerve-racking encounter serves as a jolting reminder of the criticality of promptly addressing such disconcerting circumstances, ensuring that all who seek refuge within these walls can do so without a shadow of unease.

Yelp
We we're here for a 2 day meeting and an overnight stay. They do a good job overall but some room for improvement. First the room. Overall it was clean and fairly comfortable. We could hear people above us and in the hall but it was a ton of traffic, so it wasn't too bad. It's not a very old hotel but there were a number of scuffs on furniture, and the drawers of dresser wouldn't stay shut. This was an issue in the dark for a bathroom trip and we just placed a suitcase in front to keep it shut since suitcase didn't stick out as much as drawers, nd wasn't hard with sharp edges. Just a nuisance. Toilet seat was loose, too. Routine maintenance. There was an issue with housekeeping entering a guest room of someone in out group and tossing her food items in the trash even though she hadn't checked out. She was obviously upset and front desk apologized and did what they could, saying it was a new hire and they'd talk to her, but the damage was done. So, beware and put your do not disturb sign up if you're not ready to vacate and check out. The bar was very busy on a Friday night and barkeep, Catalina, really hustled making great drinks. I'd consider coming in for just a cocktail. It's not the most comfortable bar, however, with clunky chairs that make it hard to impossible for someone not sitting at the bar to order and get drinks. It feels like you're breathing down someone's neck to do so. Food served looked very good. Meeting space and service was overall good. It wasn't always easy to find them but breakfasts and lunch were served on time and the food was very good. They didn't have enough utensils at any meal and napkins ran out. Also, they just aren't extremely great at anticipating needs or communication ahead of time. When we did seek them out or interact with then, they were great. Very nice and helpful. Close enough to walk to area restaurants and shops and easy to get to Universal Studios, Dodger Stadium or Hollywood. A good option in Burbank. Meeting room was perfect for our needs and I'd recommend or use again.

Yelp
It's ok. Comfortable. Pleasant staff. Bought chips there that tasted like formaldehyde, seriously. Breakfast was good but pricey. 30.00 plus tax without tip! They charged me 50.00 when I checked out automatically- to hold payment I just made.

Yelp
This rating is a reflection of the patrons, not the service I personally received/experienced. I booked about a week before my planned stay for a quick 24 trip with friends directly on the website, this was super easy and reasonable in price. Even before booking, i called the hotel to ask about their early check in availability. The gentleman that helped me was super professional and friendly, answered all my questions. I got there around 10a for our one night stay. I knew check in was a stretch since it was super early but asked because.. you miss 100% of the shots you don't take. And just our luck, there was a room available. All our friends rooms were on the same floor and they also accommodated my request to be near them. Keenan and Michael were super friendly and sweet helping me. If it weren't for the next part of my review, they would totally be my reason to book here again. When we went to bed is when things went downhill. There was a sex worker taking clients in the room right next to us. Walls were paper thin and you could swear we were listening to a porno. I'm talking our walls/headboard were shaking, full blown no shame moans and groans. You can hear from start to the "thank you, here's your money" door close. It happened 3x. 12a, 3a and 5a - we had zero sleep and felt absolutely disgusting sleeping in the bed. We noticed it a bit when we were hanging out/walking in and out the hotel. We'd see girls with different clients at the bar, at the pool. If this hotel allows this type of service, ok fine. But at least give them their own hallway on the bottom floor where it won't disturb/disgust other visitors. Mind you, we came here for a family vacation, stayed here with kids because it's so close to the airport (~10 mins and to universal (~15 mins). Obviously we will not be returning because of this.

Yelp
Originally booked a room online on 29 Jul 22. When I arrived, rep informed me that they overbooked, meaning no room available for me at 0030hrs. They were able to get me a room half a block down at the Marriott. Room was nice and stay was nice. The only thing I didn't agree with was an $18 parking charge and they charged me taxes on that. I've been staying in hotels with my job for the last seven years and I never been charged in taxes on parking fees! So, I decided to give Hilton Garden Inn another try. Checked in last night (30 Jul 22) King size bed with sofa bed included. Walked into room....no where to seat besides the desk chair! No sofa bed, no sofa chair, nothing! I called downstairs to ask the question (spoke to Philip) and he said he would at least have a chair sent up. Never arrived and he didn't address the missing sofa bed! In the morning, was going to make coffee and as you can see in the pic....dirty!!! Pic was taken after we cleaned it a bit. So....with all this said....I don't think we will be using this hotel in the future.

Yelp
I had to vacate my home for two days for maintenance. Downtown Burbank works best for me in various reasons, so Hilton was chosen. Walking to the room, I saw the blue sticker on the door. It was a proof of the room being sanitized. It's very important to know that they care for extra cleanness during the pandemic. The room was clean. There were a fridge and a microwave in the room. A keurig coffee maker was also clean and available with several different k-cup coffees. Since all I wanted to do was to work and rest for two days, this setting was well serving for me. The best part of the room was big, fluffy, and comfy pillows. The worst part was a shower that had weak water pressure. Zero contact check in and out, no daily maid service during the pandemic, and self parking that was $18 per day; everything was convenient for a short stay. Hilton is consistent. 3.5 Stars.

Lisha C.

Yelp
4 out of 5 overall good experience! Clean rooms, friendly staff, late check in accommodations, Breakfast selection definitely needs improvement! Food isn't good.

Yelp
Everything was fine, I am a Hilton Rewards member, and i know a thing or two about what to expect, and this place did its job. I had 0 issues, and my stay was wonderful. The front checkin staff were also very polite, and helpful. So that was very much appreciated.... My only complaint is that my room didnt have a mini fridge... so that was like WTF?? hence the one star removed from a perfect score. Would totally stay here again.

Yelp
Room service here is fantastic. Had the garden burger with onion rings, truffle fries, shrimp scampi, and fish and chips and they were all fantastic. Price was great and you got a lot of food for what you paid for. Great hotel with amazing room service. What more could you ask for?

Yelp
Always enjoy staying here. Cleaning crew staff are always nice and friendly. Rooms have always been very clean. Bartender (I think her name is Catalina), friendly, outgoing, and makes a great margarita! We were in room 620, right across the ice machine. Not sure if it was the ice machine, refrigerator but something keep make loud noises. I'm a very light sleeper and it was bugging me. Great view though. Just an FYI. Not too happy about the $18 per vehicle night parking charge. There was a mix up with charges on my credit cards, so that's why the -1 star. Still awaiting reimbursement 10 days later.

Yelp
When checking in with a reservation that states 2 adults and 1 child, I was told I had a $20/ day credit for food and beverages purchased in their small shop. When I went to check out I noticed we didn't use those credits and asked if we could use them now before we check out since they went apply them to the room or for parking. They said yes and when my receipt was printed it showed only a $20 credit to my account. The manager Cynthia came and told me that it's only $20 per day but you have to buy $20 worth each day you stay. I explained that upon check-in they never said we have to charge $20 per day but she said "sorry, that's our policy and I will take it up with the person who checked you in." I pointed to another lady who was at the front desk and said "there is the person who checked us in" and Cynthia did nothing. Cynthia's attitude was flat out unacceptable. I stay in Hilton's for business and rarely have the chance to spend time with my girls on a trip. The last thing anyone guest should experience is attitude when clearly no one is training their staff to correctly explain their services upon check-in. Rather than say "my apologies sir let me fix that for you" it's " sorry sir, that's our policy and they should have told you that when you checked in." Very disappointing Hilton.

Yelp
The location of this hotel is perfect because I am visiting some friends that live on Sunset Blvd. After a long drive I was satisfied with room service. The parking garage is located under the hotel for a fee. I drove my F150 pass the front desk leading to the park area the ceiling was very high. Then I was a bit unnerved to find out as you drive down the parking lot to the ceiling descended in height as well. Not sure why the eco cars are located at the front closer than handicaps or in the only place for tall/long vehicles? Also, we enjoyed a nearby hike at the Hollywood Trail. I was happy when the front desk offered laundry soap and quarters for the laundry room.

Yelp
There was what was almost certainly fecal matter smeared all over our comforter, but hey, at least there was no blood on the floor? The floor was very sticky in places though, so it's hard to give this place credit for much. We stayed here for 4 or 5 day and spent a good chunk of change. It was loud at night, the bed wasn't great. Room service didn't come by once, because they literally don't do that here. Motel 6 is higher end and half the price.

Mher B.

Yelp
First of all the water is very cold. They need to clean everyday and they don't clean for everyday and they skipped my room for 3 days and didn't clean it. They always have an excuse if you complain and the rooms are very dirty the restroom is sticky counter and more on. Overall I don't recommend coming here and like we call and tell them to come clean two times and they said they will be right here and we left the room and we came back after 5 hours the room was the same dirty they didn't even bother to come once and clean it and go they just ignored. Overall very terrible place you could come to a hotel and the receptionist always have an attitude and lie even though they think they are helping but they are very mean and with an attitude and lie every time. I do not recommend coming here for somewhere to stay at for a vacation or as a hotel. The pool is very dirty I've been here already for like 2 weeks and they haven't cleaned the pool at all and jacuzzi. Around the pool and jacuzzi it's dirty there are towels thrown around and not cleaned same with the pool the pool has towels in it thrown a couple and not cleaned and same with the jacuzzi and the jacuzzi is turning dirty green and yellow it looks very disgusting and terrible to swim in or stay and the gym is very sticky the equipments are very dirty. Do not come to this place very bad service. They even earn only 0 stars it just needs to be 1 star so you leave a review but or else this review would be negative then 0.

Yelp
Even though we checked in online ahead of time, it took three tries to get a working key to our room. On the second try we called the lobby to say the key still wasn't working and the front desk said "Oh, there may be someone in that room" Which was horrifying to think we were trying to walk into someone else's room. We trundled all the luggage back down to the lobby to sort it out. My husband has been down to the lobby three times and now there is a new person at the desk. She has no idea what we are talking about and sends us back to the same room. Luckily, the key works, but the tv does not. A very nice man is sent to our room to reboot direct tv. Then the loud neighbors show up. We were thankful for the loud air conditioner to drown out the snoring screaming and laughing. It truly felt like the loud neighbors were in the same room. There are hotels in which you are blissfully unaware of other humans. This is not that hotel. Earplugs are a requirement to get any sleep here. Even on the 6th floor you hear screeching traffic. We will not stay here again.

Ricardus R.

Yelp
The hotel is in a great area. I felt safe the entire trip. I just didn't plan accordingly and should've chosen a different location. I didn't see a security guard on property, again it's a great location so maybe one is not needed but I figured since there is paid parking there must be someone monitoring the parking garage. The buffet breakfast is overpriced for what they are offering. The walls are very thin, you can hear everything from cars, people walking by, to the people in the room next to you. The jacuzzi is very small, and was packed the whole time so we didn't get to utilize it. Having to scan your key for the elevator got annoying after a while but I understand it's a safety protocol. Overall, I would have to debate staying here again.

Yelp
Pros: This hotel is about 2.5 years old, so it is clean and modern. The room had hardwood floor instead of carpet, which was nice. I didn't find any weird stains or hair. The shower drained quickly (no standing water). The thermostat lets you go as low as 60 degrees. There is complimentary coffee and water in the lobby. Restaurants nearby are within walking distance. Cons: The hotel building is a horseshoe shape, so my room was four hallways and 130 steps from the elevator. The front desk staff was not very helpful or friendly. Twice my coworker and I went to the front desk and the worker would ignore us and start talking to another worker! When I was checking out, Natalia did not ask my how my stay was or anything - she just gave me my receipt. Lastly, the iron in my room was so hot it burned a hole through my new blouse. I tweeted about it and Hilton said they notified the hotel and someone would contact me. I checked out five days ago and have yet to be contacted..... I understand this location is somewhat new, but customer service should be a higher priority. I would stay here again for work, but probably wouldn't for personal travel.

Yelp
Every week there is Paint Nite event at the lobby. The staffs are awesome. They are very attentive, taking order of our food & drinks. There is a small bar in the lobby with sports TV. Boutique hotel but very welcoming atmosphere. The Parking: Hotel valet parking and street metered parking

Yelp
From the moment me and my wife stepped in this hotel the energy was beautiful. The staff is amazing. Anytime I saw a staff member they were always smiling and that is hard to find nowadays. They were very polite and very professional. The hotel itself was very clean and the pool area was perfect for lounging. Overall I would definitely come back here again.

Yelp
I hate to give poor review to a business! But I could not help to say their customer service sucks! Not so friendly the people at the front dest not so helpful at all. I would appreciate a smile at least or offer to help but NO nothing there! We're paying so much money as DIAMOND HILTON HONORS MEMBER and we expect SERVICE! First there's no communication between Reservation and the hotel itself. We're suppose to have breakfast included( breakfast sucks anyway) but it was denied then their room service phone is full and hen you call guest services they will put you on hold and don't get back to you.

Yelp
This is a nice newer hotel near downtown Burbank that's within walking distance to several nice restrurants. It's not easy to get to even though it's close to the interstate. Parking is underground and there's an elevator that takes you straight to to your floor. The room was nice with a great walk-in shower. Air conditioning was not quiet but I slept through it. Breakfast was right at 6:00 am. Not 5:59 but 6:00. Even if the lights are on and the cook is there. They made me wait the one minute to get my food. They lost a star because that means the customer is not first. The room was great and the bed was comfortable. They still have some. Ustomer service issues to iron out, but I'll stay here again.

Yelp
My husband stayed here for 17 nights straight! kids and i were in and out throughout the stay (maybe 10 nights total for us)... he was working so we were there to hang out until he was off work. The pool is small but nice. there is also a large jacuzzi...we spent most of the day in the pool and evenings in jacuzzi... rooms were super clean. beds were fine but nowhere near as comfy as a Sheraton or Marriott bed. bath amenities are Neutrogena (which i like)... AC was nice..worked perfectly. we had a lovely view of IKEA...wish he had asked for a pool view...but oh well. breakfast was fabulous! the buffet included a self serve station (which was more than adequate) plus certain items that could be ordered from server. service was fabulous at breakfast. huband took advantage of dinner a few times... kids and i joined him once for drinks and apps at the bar. bartenders were also super helpful and friendly. food was good...loved those french fries! hotel is walking distance to many restaurants/bars/stores/movie theaters which we also took advantage of while the man was at work. not my first choice of place to stay...i'm a Marriott girl (and there's 2 Marriott properties across the street) but it was a really nice stay. parking is underground...with nice lighting...no cell service in the garage (not that it matters...just FYI) when we left i felt like we knew everyone who worked there!

Yelp
They don't enforce EV-only parking spots. There are always non-EV cars parked in the EV-only spots.

Yelp
Was early to check-In , the Associate at the front desk says no early check in, i said I will pay for an upgrade if I can go to the room. No rooms available, I work for Caesar's Palace for 18 years, there is a room. Parking lot is not busy , no lunch restaurant is closed, bar is closed. Well it was 11:30am. I sat on the lounge area and one of the servers from the breakfast buffet gave me a coffee. Great customer service. That's why 2 stars. After 3 hrs in the lobby. No upgrade still, no rooms, none. Lobby still empty. I see a delivery of CBD to one of the guest, I got food from Uber eats. I see guest walking shirtless but who knows it was raining in a 65degree weather in LA. I saw a walk of shame woman. All do at her review after 2 more hours ....

Yelp
This hotel is definitely an updated nice version of Hilton. But my reason for 2 stars is- the health code violation! The cook preparing the food was not wearing gloves, handling everyone's food and touching it with his bare hands is a major health code violation. I witnessed him putting the food in the To-go containers without gloves (meaning he is touching the food while touching everything else). After witnessing this I reported it to the front desk. I felt brushed off, she gave me the generic response of- I will let my manager know. Well the cook put one glove on and removed it 10 mins later. Which makes me believe the cook is not use to wearing gloves. This may not be a big deal to everyone but after taking a course for my Health card, it's definitely a big deal for health inspectors. So eat with caution, my friends!

Yelp
Well done on the remodel HGI! Enjoyed my stay here. I was upgraded to the suite my first stay due to my status, but the second time was a no go because they said I needed to stay more than 3 nights, which was not true considering the week before I stayed two lol. Salmon dinner (to-go) from the restaurant was delicious. Price was convenient, plenty of parking, and staff were friendly. Kudos.

Yelp
disgusting dirty bedbugs crawling around. filthy shower with clumps of hair in drain. smashed dead bugs on desk in room. hotel staff rude and refused to give us refund when we requested to leave. no manager available. air conditioner obnoxiously loud and rattled and barely kicked out cold air. absolute train wreck of a hotel room. 20.00 parking fees.

Yelp
Lipstick on a pig. What a nice lobby. A real nice bar. Clean elevators. Lousy rooms. I felt like I was in a 40's era motel. I could hear the neighbors coughing and going to the bathroom. I don't imagine there was rhino and a zebra in the room above me, but it sure seemed like it. Every step amplified due to the horrible decision to have faux wood floors in a hotel room! The front desk when asked said "yes, we hear that a lot", but due to being oversold out they had no room to accomodate a Diamond Hilton for a higher floor. All that horrible noise and there was not even an adjoining room door. In addition, the location is awful for walking around. There is literally nothing enjoyable within walking distance unless you are shopping for a Tesla or need some shelves at IKEA. Think twice about this location. Especially Hilton Honors members.

Yelp
DON'T GO HERE!! This place is such a fraud house!! They overcharge for the room, charge your card for whatever they want and won't remove the charge!! The staff is super rude!! This is not even close to the regular Hilton standard! Why it gets to keep the Hilton brand is not understandable!! They don't act like a Hilton brand at all!! This place is terrible!!!!!

Yelp
Free WiFi barely worked... there was no cell/data service in the area either (I'm on Verizon), so I could only use my phone when I left the hotel. Upon check-in I was not notified about a fee for parking my vehicle. The following day I saw a note left on it from the hotel requesting payment. Whoever left the note on my car also cracked the windshield and didn't own up to it. I will NEVER be returning to this hotel.

Yelp
You pay for a room and that is it. There is no complimentary anything. Coffee, breakfast, parking - if you want it, you're paying for it. A small box of Cheerios for our daughter was $4. Parking was $18 a day. Place is a total nickle and dime operation and we won't be staying here again.

Yelp
Granted, this HGI is brand spankin' new so from a property point of view 5* for sure for comfort, decor and ammenities, but service and cleanliness rank high on my ratings scale and this HGI (in my humble opinion) have some work to do on both. Start from my arrival experience, I arrived late and the front desk clerk who greeted me acknowledged I had checked in with digital key, so she explained to me about the $15.00/ day parking fee and gave me two complementary bottles of water (no bag), which made them awkward to carry with the other bag I had with me, and she forgot to give me my breakfast coupons, which I too forgot because it was late and I was tired. On to the room, very contemporary in decor including a laminate wood flooring, but while yes this looks very nice, the truth is if you are on any floor other than 6, be prepared for a lot of noise coming from the room above you. I think "Big Foot" was staying above me in 638, not that they were probably doing it on purpose, but walking on laminate flooring on a multi story building framed in wood, is not what most would consider noise resistant. Fortunately, "Big Foot" was not in the room all that much and was not up at all ours of the night pacing back and forth over me! The room was quite clean except one pet peeve of mine which is to be provided clean towels and in general practice (mainly from my experience at being a road warrior) I always check bath towels in hotels before using them. Why you ask? Well, let's put it this way the hotel housekeeping staff always seem to let a few go by and this time one of the bath towels in room 538 was no different leaving it complete with someone else's hair in it (ugh)! Note to HGI Manager: Please make sure your housekeeping staff or laundry contractor does a better job at checking the cleanliness of bath linens please! Overall the room was nice, large TV screen with lots of channels to choose from and a comfy bead and sofa with a good size ottoman. The desk area was adequate and the desk chair was ergonomic and felt great working at the desk. But rolling around on the floor, I felt bad for whoever was in 438 because I'm sure my every rolling movement was amplified in the room below mine, sorry about that 438! Here again to poor service, in the breakfast area, seemed like there were not enough tables for the volume of guest rooms in the hotel. All the tables were filled both mornings I ate there and there was a bt of a wait to get one. I think they can put a few more tables in the morning on the patio just off the dining area, would be nice. Also talk about lack of service. The wait staff in the breakfast were not attentive at all, in face the first day I was never approached or acknowledged the entire time I ate my breakfast. The second day was a bit better (but not by much), some additional training and management oversight is a strong recommendation here to the HGI Manager too! Parking was adequate and I did not have any issues using my digital key on my mobile phone except that from time to time it took a bot longer then I expected for it to upload onto my phone, thus keeping me waiting at the elevator for it to open the access to go upstairs. There are definitely lots of Hilton Family properties to consider in the Burbank/ LA area; would I stay at this HGI again... maybe but I will definitely also consider the many others before booking here again.

Yelp
Hotel was nice, clean and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was offered at $25 per person until 11am. Parking is available underground for $18 per day. The rooms were pretty basic, I'd recommend getting on the top floor if you can, as the ceilings are paper thin. You hear every footstep (in our case children running) so no chance of sleeping in. Probably

Yelp
Zero 0 stars if i could...Check in today with my sister, and first of all as soon as we got there the front desk personnel were very rude and unprofessional. They should be nicer since it's for working people they have a job. The room is nothing to the photos I saw on hotels.com False advertisement
