Himalayan House - Nepalese/Indian Restaurant

First of all, the price was not matchjngvwith the portion for me..I ordered Chicken curry with rice for almost $19. Coming to taste i liked the aloo sadheko..Naan were thin crust not soft like it was supposed to be. We were there on opening hour so was it was nice environment.

Food was delicious. We ordered aaloo chop, cheese naan, chicken sekuwa and chicken kothe momo. Everything was yumm.

Hidden gem. Delicious food, cozy atmosphere and the nicest people. They stayed open late for us so we could dine in and they served us the most delicious Himalayan Feast.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently dined at the Himalayan House in Baltimore, Maryland, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The naan bread was perfectly baked, fluffy, and delicious. The Chicken Pakora with mint sauce was absolutely delectable, with a perfect balance of spices and flavors. The service was top-notch, and Rubin, our server, went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable dining experience. His attentiveness and friendly demeanor made our visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend the Himalayan House for anyone looking for authentic and mouthwatering Indian cuisine!

Delicious and fresh food with an extraordinary Nepalese influence served by a chef who’s been doing it there for 18 years. A delightful spot on Fort Ave in Locust Point The people are, as you would expect from Nepal, beautiful, hospitable, and clearly enjoy their grateful guests Namaste🙏🏼

This is the BEST Nepali, Tibetan, and Indian food I have EVER had, and I've been around to many of them. Their Lamb was perfectly cooked, and it was so good, I forgot to get a picture of it! I highly recommend you try this and you'll NEVER go anywhere else.

I've been ordering from here periodically for about 2 years. The food is pretty good. Certainly not the best Indian/Nepalese I've had, but it hits the spot. My bigger gripe? Delivery. Twice now it has taken at or over 2 hours to deliver the meal - despite the estimate on the order stating about 45 minutes to an hour. Maybe they are just that busy... If so, awesome. However, if I'm expected to wait 2 hours for the food to arrive, it being barely warm isn't really a good thing. I get it, things happen. But now being the 3rd consecutive time over the course of a few months it seems more a trend than an anomaly. Bottom line.. if you're after decent Indian/Nepalese food, this is a good option - but I wouldn't suggest delivery. Their renovated dining room is probably the best choice.

Overall I'll def be back to try more of the menu. Large selection of indian dishes...Wish there was more of a Nepali selection without meat. But the food was really great. Seasoned great. And great service very quick. :) cozy atmosphere and everyone there was so welcoming!
