The fried oysters are absolutely delicious—perfectly crispy on the outside and tender, juicy on the inside. They’re so flavorful that you don’t even need the dipping sauce that comes with them. The pork in the ramen is cooked beautifully, with fat that simply melts in your mouth. The clam ramen soup is rich and satisfying, and it comes with plenty of clams. However, a few of them had a slightly sandy texture, and some broken shell fragments made chewing a bit challenging.

This place feel really authentic. While I enjoyed my ramen I wish I had toppings to add like hot sauce or chili sauce. No condiments on our table. I would come back to try a more spicy option. Mine was very umami but was good. Price point was on par with the quality of food. Will definitely come back. This may be our new ramen spot. I like that you pay when you order so you don’t have to wait to leave. Very smart option.

I really liked their fast service and the concept of ordering everything through their app — it makes the process super smooth. The sake flight was great! However, the food wasn’t as flavorful as I expected. The Takoyaki had too much batter and not enough octopus, and the texture was a bit too soft with mild flavor. I also ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen — based on the photo, I thought the broth would be thicker and spicier, but it was quite light and not very spicy at all. Service was friendly, prices were fair, but seating and parking are limited since the place mimics a small ramen shop like you’d find on Tokyo Ramen Street. If you’re coming with a group, I recommend carpooling and arriving early — it fills up quickly. Overall, a nice experience, but I’d give it 3 out of 5 stars.

The restaurant has a small parking lot in the back and it's kinda small inside. They had a lot of cute decorations and I love the small lamp on the table. The food was good but it's definitely way too expensive for the portion. I did not like how you have to pay extra for the spice. We got spicy miso and it wasn't even spicy. I wish they actually put out the spices on the table or make it free to adjust the spice. Additionally, you have to pay first before receiving your food. If it was more cheaper, I would come back. Two bowls cost about $50 and they do have desserts.

This was the first we tried this ramen place. No reservation but join waiting list online is available. We only waited for about 10 minutes. The staff were friendly. Ramen is a bit hard (to me as different preferences for individuals) but still good. Soup is nice and not very salty. I would recommend this restaurant for someone like reman to try. I didn’t try its dessert as we were full. But, they look great and tasty on the pictures. I would like to try if I go next time.😋 By the way, parking spaces are limited.

Loved the Shishito peppers here and the Gyoza!!! What I didn't like was ordering through the phone... The whole Point of going to a restaurant is to have the entire waiter / food experience... So I ordered and than my friend ordered, so we had two different bills and than we wanted to order more food, but already paid and didn't want a third bill. This absolutely sucked!!! Please get real waiters versus phone ordering. I will not go again because of this. I actually liked the atmosphere... Very Japanese and the food was good but as I said - if I have to order through a phone and pay BEFORE I am even finished... No thx. Don't like this system at all 😔💔

Ignore the low-key setting and focus on the steaming, delicious bowls of perfection they serve up.

Very average tasting food with slow service. We tried chicken karage ( 3/5) which was the only good food, spicy miso ramen ( 1/5) it tasted bitter and soft serve (2/5) they gave broken cone and ice cream was leaking all over and the vanilla and matcha flavors almost tasted same. Service is super slow even though it was Saturday afternoon with very less crowd. And we had to pay for order and give tip ahead of time ( tip is minimum 18% )

the best ramen i've ever had! everything was so fresh, perfect temperature and the service was quick which is always a plus. the inside was beautiful and calm, staff were super friendly as well! i ordered the creamy spicy miso ramen w/ corn and ordered an extra egg. it's really not spicy at all, so if you have a high tolerance i suggest you order more spice! (they do charge for the level of spice) my partner ordered the regular spicy miso ramen and this was his first time here, and definitely not his last!! thank you for such an amazing experience and equally delicious food!

We finally went to Hinodeya Ramen Bar in Campbell and wow, what a great experience! As soon as we walked in, the service was amazing. The staff was super friendly, very polite, and seated us right away. They even offered us an outside table, but we decided to eat inside. The food was the best part! My sister got the Butter Corn Ramen and she loved it. To drink, she had a really refreshing Yuzu Drink with a squeeze of lemon. My brother was adventurous and tried the Aubri Cheese Spicy Miso Ramen--he said the cheese made the spicy broth taste even better--and he washed it down with a Matcha Beer. My sister's boyfriend and I both got the regular Spicy Miso Ramen, and it was absolutely delicious. It had a wonderful flavor and just the right amount of spice. I definitely approve of this place. If you're looking for fantastic ramen and great service in the Campbell area, you have to go to Hinodeya!

Just ok. I thought the Ramen here was pretty average at best. They definitely have a slightly different menu instead of choices than most other Ramen restaurants. Their style seems to have more seafood base versus the more typical pork broth options. One thing that was disappointing was many of the elements in the Ramen bowl were served cold. I ordered the scallops special and the scallops are pre-cooked and so served cold as was the bok choy and some other elements. The soup could also be served hotter because the soup cooled down quite quickly, especially given some of the other ingredients were not served hot as I mentioned. The noodles though were very tasty and cooked well with nice chew. The chicken kaarage was pretty good. Nicely fried little chicken nuggets that were crispy and not too greasy, though having some kind of mayo or sauce to dip in, would've been nice. Service is a little disorganized. You scan the menu on your phone, which is typical in many restaurants these days but what's odd is to place the order you actually have to pay including with tip which is confusing and what if you want to order more food? When I asked a waitress what to do she looked at me perplexed and said I'm not actually not sure and let me ask. Very odd. They do have a decent covered and heated outdoor seat seating area to make more space for diners, but the parking lot is quite small and fills up quickly.

Love this place. I've only gone a handful of times over the past year and I have enjoyed every visit! The dishes I've tried: - Hinodeya Ramen (8.5/10) - Spicy Miso Ramen (9.5/10) - Butter Corn Spicy Miso Ramen (8/10) I am absolutely obsessed with the Spicy Miso. I love the crunchy garlic they offer as well, it adds that nice little texture to the broth with each bite and it's just *chefs kiss*. The staff has always been so great to us as well and service goes above and beyond! The vibe is always so welcoming and inviting, and overall a pretty intimate spot. You have a choice of sitting inside or outside. Also! Get the soft serve for dessert!!! You won't regret it. The only downside is the lack of parking especially on a busy evening. We are always scared of parking in the other lot because of the possibility of getting towed. Hasn't happened to us yet, but just be careful and read the signs!

The menu had a very good selection and the restaurant was clean and nice. The service was friendly. I ordered a chicken noodle bowl and it was delicious. You can specify the spice level, and it was interesting that they had actual chili threads on top of the broth. The Matcha ice cream dessert was refreshing after the meal. My serving was generous, so I took the leftovers to go. It was great cold! I can't wait to go back with my family - they will also love it. The parking was a little tight, so plan ahead if you're meeting someone there.

Hinodeya Campbell Town is a really solid ramen place, especially if you have vegan friends and are craving ramen. While I don't believe that this place is breathtaking in any regard towards the ramen, I think the variety alongside the vegan friendly option makes this a solid choice for ramen in the bay area. The service is pretty good and I kind of like the drum thing that they do when you enter. Parking is a little hard, but not a huge dealbreaker. The ambiance is pretty nice as well, really clean and well organized. Definitely just a solid place and one of the many fine places in the bay. I like this location better than the downtown one for sure though!

Delicious!! Had lunch here today with a buddy and it was super yummy! We both ordered ramen and several appetizers. We had the edamame, Takoyaki and chicken Karage (Luke had to remind me that there was just two of us) I like to eat! The appetizers were yummy! Hot, fresh and tasty!! The ramen's were both super yummy and hit the spot on a cool day! The service was wonderful and spot on. The ambiance is warm and welcoming. The only issue I may have with this place is that I am an OLD FASHIONED DINOSAUR. I like to see and hold a printed menu. I like to talk to a server and get ideas on what to order. I like having a bill presented to me at the end of the meal. I like handing a credit card to the server and getting the receipt back. All these things makes me an OLD FASHIONED DINOSAUR. Hinodeya Ramen Bar is you're seated. You scan the menu on your phone. You place the order on your phone. You pay for your food on your phone. Too high tech and modern for me and my Old Dinosaur ways. But the food is yummy! The services excellent! The ambiance is wonderful! Even for an OLD FASHIONED DINOSAUR like me!

I met a friend here on a Tuesday. She was craving ramen, and I noticed they had some vegan options, so I decided to give it a try. The parking lot is really small, and they get busy, so it's hard to find a spot. I'd recommend going during their off hours to make sure you can park. I ordered the edamame sticks and Zen Ramen. The edamame sticks were bland; they could've used some salt and some sort of sauce. The ramen broth wasn't much better; it lacked depth of flavor and umami. I chose the medium spicy option but did not taste any spice at all. Although the broth wasn't very good, the toppings were delicious: lots of fresh veggies, the noodles had the perfect texture and bite, and the inari hit the spot. If they put more effort into injecting flavor into their vegan broth, I'd rate the ramen much higher. My non-vegan friend ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen and loved the broth, but did not enjoy the fried pork on top. She also loved the gyoza and spicy edamame. I enjoyed sitting in the back patio and ordering from my phone. The convenience was great. I might give them another chance and try the Yuzu Ramen next time, but I'm on the fence because I'm spoiled by more flavorful vegan broth options elsewhere.

Went to walk my dogs at Campbell Park and was excited to find this spot within a mile from the park AND it is dog friendly since they have a covered outdoor patio! Parking was kind of tough. Small parking lot that fits maybe 10-15 cars. One spot was open that was all the way in the corner which we were going for but luckily someone else left so we just swooped their spot instead which was easier to access. Pricing was quite standard. My husband and I both got the Hinodeya ramen (mine non spicy, his was spicy level 1 with crunchy spicy garlic flakes added on), each was $17. You could add on more spicy for 50 cents additional. Other varieties of ramen went up to $21-$23 Service was very quick. You ordered using the QR code on the table and even pay the bill on your phone. Food came out within 10 minutes and we probably finished eating within 20 minutes. The Hinodeya ramen was good, but I wish they had a non spicy miso ramen on the menu (only options were spicy miso or spicy corn miso) as miso is my typical go to. They also forgot my Naruto but I hadn't noticed until I finished the bowl...since I couldn't find it in my soup. Overall a pleasant experience. Really cute outdoor patio, flavorful ramen, quick service. Swing by if you are close to downtown Campbell and craving ramen!

Finally stopped by Hinodeya last night for some ramen, apps, and ice cream after some light drinking. Service is very fast and prompt, space is small but accommodating. We rolled in around 10pm and were wrapped up by closing. I ordered the spicy miso ramen, we shared the chicken karaage, green gyoza, and takoyaki. Noodles were great texture, broth came out hot, egg slightly overcooked. Broth at "regular" spicy level was pretty mild. Flavor fell flat and was just salty. Wasn't bad per se, but it won't be in my ramen rotation. Karaage was batter heavy, takoyaki & gyoza were average. Note that cutoff for ice cream is 10:30pm on the dot so they can clean the machine. Glad I made it in time. The matcha soft serve was a nice way to end the meal and round things out. Not bad for $6. Overall, a nice late night dinner option in Campbell. Would return, but might pass on the ramen next time around. Solid 3/5

We beat the rush, but you could tell it was about to pop off. Parking lot is a little tight though there's a decent amount for diners, and outside noise from the street is loud because people are doing... a lot. Once you're in the back patio, it's chill and dog‑friendly which I loved. We brought two pups and did a makeshift pup bowl with char siu chicken, spinach, and brown rice. They ate it up, minus the spinach, which is a dog problem not the restaurant. Food hits: first‑level spicy chicken paitan was cozy with the right kick, and the butter ramen was rich without being heavy. Apps were fun, takoyaki was the favorite, and the karaage with lemon disappeared fast. Yuzu soda absolutely slapped. Also love that they have matcha powder you can sprinkle on whatever, which is a cute touch. Service was friendly, food came out quick, and it was easy to settle in and just enjoy. We'll be back.

I eat a lot of ramen and am a little particular and difficult about it, so that's why I'm giving this a 4 instead of 5 stars. There isn't really anything bad to say about it. Everything is really well-rounded. But it's more of "another good ramen place". The one dish that we found the most interesting is the hamaguri ramen (clam). I don't think I've seen this anywhere else, and it tastes quite good! Highly recommended!

One of our favorite South Bay ramen staples, especially since they're open until a relatively late 11 PM, perfect for those late evening cravings. Great selection of ramen flavors, including legitimately rich and flavorful vegan options, but I almost always go for my favorite Hinodeya Ramen - not too heavy but still very satisfying (note it's a scallop based broth, so those with shellfish allergies should watch out). Love their ordering system which makes it easy to customize everything, pay, and get your ramen quickly. The service is always super quick and efficient. You can choose your spice level from 1 - 5, each costing a little more. I'm content with level 2 but my partner goes for 3 which tastes pretty hot to me. Oh and get the free crunchy garlic topping! Parking can be difficult because there's only a few spots in their lot, so you may need to find street parking a few blocks away.

Hinodeya Dashi Ramen in Campbell never misses! We got the Spicy Miso Ramen with tabera (fried garlic) for the kids at regular spice level, and the Vegan Yuzu Ramen cranked up to Oni-Kara heat for us perfect kick, so good! Also, do yourself a favor and try the "Creamy Ramen Vegan" definitely recommend bumping up the spice level for extra flavor! The place was packed even on a Tuesday night, and stayed lively until close. They've got indoor & outdoor seating, plus a great selection of Japanese beers. Parking can be a hassle since it's usually crowded, so give yourself a little extra time. If you love authentic ramen with bold flavors, this is the spot! Plus, their spice levels have epic names from Koko-Kara (Entering Gate) all the way up to Enma (King of Hell) for the seriously brave.

Quite pleased (well, except for the small parking lot- only 12 spots). I used to have ramen for lunch 2-4 times a week back when I worked in Cupertino. This is up there with the best I have had. fresh, nice flavor. The service was very attentive without being overbearing. My wife had the house ramen (Hinodeya ramen, Chasu pork), and I had a pork rice dish (spicy pork bowl, w/ spicy ground pork and spicy menme). My wife doesn't particularly like spicy, so the house ramen was perfect for her ('normal' spicy for that dish is basically 'not spicy'). My pork rice bowl I also ordered 'regular spicy', but it WAS spicy (I asked a waitress to be sure). Not a lot of heat (for me, I really like spice). It really wasn't that spicy. I went with 'regular' spice because I wanted to taste the spices, the flavors, instead of just pure heat. It was wonderful. At first, a little spice heat with good flavor, then the heat built up, "hmm, nice", and continued building for about 20-25 seconds both in flavor and heat. Really tasty. (but my wife went "WHOA!" about 10-15 seconds after tasting mine and quickly had some of her broth) As many restaurants do these days, the menu is via smart phone (QR code), and one orders and pays electronically. Not my cup of tea (yeah, joke intended) but some really like that and it sure is convenient for the restaurant. We ate inside where it was noisy. Next time I will eat in the covered, enclosed patio, which was heated and much quieter.

Hinodeya is one of my kids favorite ramen places and one of the few that has a very, very good veggie ramen. I'm not vegetarian, and I thought it tasted better than the Tonkotsu ramen. The service has definitely improved since the last time we tried it and it had a pleasantly relaxed vibe. We were too full to try the matcha soft serve, but we'll get some next time.

Came here for dinner on a Friday night and the ramen was pretty decent! This is the type of place where you scan the menu from a QR code and order through there. Food 4/5: The ramen was good, it wasn't too salty or oily and was a decent sized portion. There are a ton of add ons and customizations to make your bowl more filling but I think it was a little pricey to begin with. The menu had a nice selection of dishes to choose from. Service 4/5: Most of the interaction with staff is limited due to mostly everything being done through the phone but the servers that brought the food were courteous. 3/5: The vibes here feels rushed and hectic. I'm sure this is because it was a busy Friday night but it was a bit overwhelming for my comfort level. Tables are small, it's crowded and I basically was the 3rd wheel to somebody's date , the seating is super close to each other so you can hear every other world somebody is saying. I'm sure this works for people that want to eat and go. I would like to come back for lunch on a weekday!

I got the Spicy Miso Butter Corn ramen and it was absolutely delicious! Probably my second favorite ramen I've ever had. The broth was rich and flavorful. I got a level 3 spicy and it was the perfect amount of spice. Charging extra for spice is a little ridiculous in my opinion. I also switched the pork for chicken. The parking garage next door has 90 minutes for free and then a dollar for each additional 15 minutes, so plan your trip to this restaurant carefully.

Love at first bite!!! This place is amazingly good, that butter corn spicy miso was incredibly good, I subbed wheat noodles for spinach noodles. The corn was buttery, noodles were springy and cooked to perfection, and the broth was rich and flavorful, although I wish it would have been a bit more spicier to my liking. Beef bowl was pretty good, standard, but still good and those green gyoza best thing I have ever tried. I usually go for meaty gyoza, but I was feeling a little risky and decided to give the veggie side a try. I'm so glad I did, I don't know what magic they put on that, but they were sooooo good along with that tangy sauce. This has become my new go to ramen spot!

This location had both indoor and outdoor seating, so it looks a bit small on the outside but there's quite a few tables. The food is served pretty quick and you can order + pay via QR code. As for the food, I appreciate Hinodeya for how consistent the quality is. This location had some unique menu items like a yuzu ramen. They also had a summer menu of cold ramens. I kinda wanted to try them but then they were all mushroom based broth so I didn't lmao. I liked the aburi cheese spicy miso ramen. I usually get the spicy miso anyways but I was pleasantly surprised by how yummy the cheese was. Also always make sure to get the house garlic chili crisp! It's super fragrant and spicy but not too much. It definitely adds another dimension of flavour to the ramen

Great ramen place a lot of flavors in their spicy miso soup, and there matcha parfait dessert was very refreshing! This restaurant gets busy fast, definitely make a reservation through Yelp. Parking is very small and limited. This place is scan and order, then they bring it to your table.

This place can get busy so I recommend putting your name on the waitlist. They have outdoor and inside seating. You order and pay by a QR code. The parking lot is small. The service was decent and the workers were friendly. My favorite ramen here is the spicy miso butter corn ramen. The butter made the ramen creamy and definitely went well with it. I like how you can adjust the spice and sodium levels. The aburi cheese spicy miso ramen was solid as well but I don't think the cheese made much of a difference.

It was nice to see a ramen place open late since no other ramen spots were. The parking lot is super compact and it was really hard parking there. The place is nice inside and service was good. I like the ordering and paying through the phone too. The veggie spring rolls were really good and so was the sauce. The spicy edemame was good but I think next time I'd just get the normal plain edemame instead. I was excited to see so many different vegetarian/vegan ramen options but was very disappointed with my order :( The broth was extremely bland compared to other meat free ramen I've had before. Even after I added spicy powder it was bland.

The ramen is solid, especially the clam one! So many clams that I was surprised! I was disappointed they didn't have yuzu ramen at the time that I went, but that's okay. Maybe next time. But the location is nice with a small parking lot, not too busy on a Monday afternoon. They allowed my dogs to sit on the back patio, which was very nice, and I would definitely come back.

Came here on a Tuesday night for dinner. I think we ordered from DoorDash but I can't confirm completely. No lines, yay! But their parking lot was very small and limited. Perhaps that's how they manage no wait line in their restaurant. There are street parking so I guess that's why their parking lot is small. Ramen was pretty generic but it was hearty. The spinach noodle was pretty good, didn't really taste much spinach in the noodle though. But at least we're getting some veggies in! The meat was pretty good too, very tender. Also, got the soft-served ice cream, vanilla. It was yummy! Reminds me of the McDonald ice cream. It melts very quick, so I would recommend getting it in the cup instead of the cone.

Stopped by here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The place wasn't very crowded and a worker told us to sit anywhere and that we could order via QR code or place an order with him. We ended up using the QR code, but when you go to pay it asks if you want to add a tip. Why would I add a tip when I haven't even received any food or seen how the service is? It was kind of weird. We decided that we would not put a tip on the app and would leave a cash tip if it was warranted. I tend to be a bit picky with my food and the best thing about this place is that you can totally customize your ramen. We both decided to get the spicy butter corn ramen. You can select the level of spice. The one bad thing is that the spicier you want it the more they charge. What are they charging by the scoop of chili powder or something? I don't like bamboo shoots, so I was able to leave them off. Want to substitute chicken for the Char Siu like I did, no problem. You can pretty much create your perfect bowl of ramen. Very cool. Our food arrived very fast. Probaby 5 or 10 minutes after we ordered. Everyone knows that ramen is all about the broth. Unfortunately the broth here at Hinodeya is pretty bland. It certainly wasn't spicy and just didn't have much flavor at all. The noodles were good. Not too thin and had a good chew to them. So at the end of the meal, we were left with a bit of a challenge. The tip. The food runners brought us our food but we never saw them again after they put the food down. Nobody ever checked on us. What if we had, had a problem with our food? So I didn't feel like a generous tip was really warranted. We just left $5 and called it a day. So the bottom line is this place is cool because you can customize your food, but the food is bland.

Albeit having limited parking, this restaurant has its own charm and uniqueness. We came here around 6pm on a Wednesday for dinner. There was no line yet but parking was a nightmare. There is a small parking lot in the back of the restaurant which can host up to 12 cars max. Unless you're very lucky, expect to spend a bit of time circling around. Or maybe you'll opt for street parking in the nearby residential area like I did. Or be bold and park in the next-door plazas and walk over. The restaurant is a stand-alone small building and it looks like something you'll find in Japan. Something about its dark oak exterior and the big curtain at the front door add to its charm. The inside is small, quaint and cozy. There are maybe 8-9 tables max, some of which can seat 2 and some can seat 4. There's also a cute patio area. There is a QR code at the table which you scan to order. You will pay and tip before your order arrive. I got the Hamaguri Clam Ramen and my friend got the Zen Ramen (vegetarian). Our food arrived fast within 10 minutes. OMG the Hamaguri Clam Ramen was what won me over! It was so UNIQUE! I'm used to those Tonkotsu or Miso soup based ramens but this clam ramen outshines all of the typical Japanese ramens, especially if you're a seafood fan! The soup was light yet flavorful, going down smoothly and leaving a nice aftertaste. The clam was fresh and the thick noodles were cooked perfectly. I finished my bowl in lightning speed LOL I took off one star because of the parking situation. Otherwise, all was perfect food-wise and ambience-wise.

4.8/5 stars! This place has a cozy and intimate atmosphere, especially if you sit on the patio with the lights! I love how they allow you to bring dogs out onto the patio, as well. The service here is one of the best that I've experienced. Everyone is so friendly and attentive, ensuring that you feel cared for. The ordering process is mainly over the phone using a QR code, and you are able to pay right away through this process. For the food itself, I absolutely loved the Creamy Ramen! 9/10! This vegan option was packed with flavor, and I thought it had an aftertaste of corn (which was tasty, in my opinion). The broth is made with soy milk, shiitake mushroom "dashi," and sesame. It definitely lived up to its creamy description. Of all the toppings added, I loved the crispy kale. It paired well with the soup and added a nice texture, and the kale itself tasted buttery! I would really recommend this to anyone, as it could be a delicious meal for vegans and curious meat lovers, as well!

Hinodeya in Campbell is the spot when it comes to ramen and bowls. They're open late till 11, which is clutch, and the vibe here works whether you're on a date or just chilling with friends. Indoor and outdoor seating both got a nice ambience. Today I tried the spicy chicken bowl with brown rice--super flavorful, perfectly fried, and still juicy. Definitely hit the spot. Can't go wrong with their Hinodeya ramen either. I went with the spinach noodles and the egg was cooked to perfection. Everything feels dialed in. Overall, solid late-night option with good food, good energy, and a chill environment. Easy recommendation if you're in Campbell.

Went to Hinodeya on a Monday evening around 8pm and it was somewhat busy. There are about 10-12 parking spots in the back so it can be limited during peak hours. To place the order, we had to scan a QR code and order online which was straightforward. We heard good things about the vegan creamy ramen so we each got one. I was surprised that there was an additional fee to change the spice level so I just got the default spice level. Got our food within 5-10 minutes! Creamy ramen (3.5/5): Broth was definitely creamy, however, it was very bland with the default spice level and lacked flavor. I had to ask the waitress for spice on the side which was provided free of charge and that helped. On the bright side, I liked the spinach noodles. It didn't taste any different from regular noodles and it made me feel healthy. The inari (tofu pouches) was delicious - it was flavorful and juicy. The vegetables also tasted fresh, but one minor complaint I had was that the vegetables came in big chunks. For example, the kale was served in one big bunch so I had to eat it all in one bite. Overall, the ramen was decent, and service was good. However, my friend and I agreed that there are better vegetarian/vegan ramen options nearby that offer more value. Hinodeya is priced similarly to other ramen shops in the area, but most other ramen shops in the area allow spice level modifications at no extra charge. While I appreciate the fact that there are vegan options, there is no vegetarian ramen option and to add an egg, it costs $3 more which feels steep. Thus, I don't think I would return.

There always seems to be parking available, the service is quick and fast and the ramen tastes great! I cannot complain about any restaurant when it meets all three of the above criteria. Their littleneck clams ramen, in particular, is very good and very unique. You don't see similar items at other ramen restaurants. The broth is light but filled with umami and a generous two dozen quality littleneck clams. (You can tell because the shells are thick and firm). There is an option for slightly spicy garlic crunch which you should definitely take them up on. It adds a ton of flavor to the broth and works especially well with the lighter seafood-based broths that they have to offer.

My husband and I were at Sports Basement in Campbell and decided to give this place a try. Their parking lot is fairly small with option to park next door when those stores are closed. Since we were there for lunch, we ended up parking a street down in the neighborhood. Upon walking in, we were seated immediately in the patio (fully covered and shaded). I got the clam ramen and shared some extra chashu with my husband. While I'm not a huge fan of the noodles (felt like there's not as much texture and chewiness), I really enjoyed the broth as well as the generous portions of clams. Service here was great and I'd come back again if I was in the area.

Decent ramen place in Campbell and a go to for when i want ramen fast. You can order and pay via a QR code and the food comes out very quickly so as long as there is no line you can be in and out in under 30 minutes! Parking can be a challenge when it's busy. They have a small lot behind the restaurant, but when it fills up, it can be hard to find an alternative place to park.

Decided on ramen for a cold night and we were not disappointed! They have seating options inside or outside in their patio and you scan the QR code on the table to order and pay so no need to put your order in with the servers. The Hinodeya ramen had a clear and clean taste. It was really like a clarified miso broth and it was quite simple. For flavor though, maybe go with the spicy miso ramen. I got the Creamy Vegan ramen and wow! It was delicious. The broth was creamy, flavorful, and tasty. It was filling and for $17 a bowl, you definitely get what you pay for. The servers were very attentive and removed empty plates and bowls away quickly and food gets to you in a timely manner. We went on a fairly busy packed night and still got all of our drinks, okazu, and ramen quickly. Overall, 5/5 for taste! *Parking is VERY limited in the back (with like maybe 8 parking spots) so ideally this is a place for a couple or very small families. Their seating is quite small too as well so we did see larger families struggle to find comfortable seating. I would also advise have 1 person order on the QR website for everyone so orders don't get mixed up.

this place is located in Campbell. Small parking lot and parking can be crowded. They have a small seating inside the restaurant and more outdoor seating with heating lamps. The restaurant vibe feels rushed, busy and hectic. Servers are efficient to bring your dishes. You scan a digital menu and order online and pay. Then they bring you the entrees. The entrees were decent with good portions. The broth was OK, not too salty and not too oily.

Late lunches usually means no wait so we decided to head on over to Hinodeya which my entire family has swore that this was the best ramen in the bay. First impression - small quaint place with a great atmosphere! I loved the relaxing music in the background. They have a QR code system where you order and pay right away which was fairly convenient. Service was still great even though we paid first! We ordered the Hinodeya House ramen with two appetizers - karaage and shrimp tempura. I really enjoyed the karaage which I could tell was marinated and freshly fried. The side of green tea salt hits the spot. The size of the shrimp tempura was quite decent but the price was definitely still very steep. The ramen that we ordered was very light and I enjoyed the noodle texture. Based on my personal preference, I think this place is solid but it's not a must try on my end!

This is my favorite ramen place in the South Bay. It was my first time eating at the restaurant in person; before we had ordered take out a couple of times. It has a very authentic, cozy feel like the ramen shops in Japan. My husband and I tried some of their more unique beer offerings; the matcha IPA and yuzu beer. I liked the yuzu beer, but felt like the fruit flavor was very light/subtle. Spicy edamame and gyoza were both delicious; I liked the sauce they used for the edamame better than most of the places that serve this for an appetizer. Gyoza tastes very fresh, but it would have been nice to have a little more sauce. I got the Hinodeya ramen, which I shared with my son; it was perfect! The broth has a light, healthy taste, the pork was tender and nicely flavored, and the noodles were delicious. They even have the option of spinach noodles! Will definitely be back.

My favorite ramen spot in the South Bay! There was no line when I went and we were able to get seated immediately. Everything is self order through a QR code. My favorite ramen here is the spicy miso butter corn ramen and it hits every time! Our ramen and takoyaki came out really fast and everything had beautiful presentation. The waitlist may be long on the weekends but it is worth the wait! My other favorite appetizers have to be the shrimp tempura, chicken karaage, and the spicy edamame.

This place is in my top 5 for ramen. It does get very crowded and can have a waitlist but it's worth it. Their karaage chicken is some of the best I've tasted! Almost Adam's good as my grandma used to make. The ramen was even better! So tasty Andy favorite part is alway the egg. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the broth was so tasty! Definitely coming back for more soon!

Ramen tasted good and there was a nice variety of cold and hot ramen choices. Service was very welcoming and quick. The restaurant has a nice, intimate interior and a cool outside seating area. I was delighted with our meal.

First time here and it was so good. I was in and out of here in 20 minutes which was great. The house ramen with inari was really good. Packed with flavor and reasonably priced. I also like the contactless ordering system. The staff was very friendly. If I had to pick one gripe, it's the parking lot. It's absolutely absurd but I think it's kind of out of their hands at a place like this and the location they're at. Definitely recommend it though.

Ordered their spicy miso ramen, broth was really good, miso and chicken based, so very different from the tonkotsu I usually get. It's not really spicy to me but that's fine with me. Will definitely order it again!

I absolutely LOVE their ramen. I got a spicy miso ramen and I got tofu rather than chicken in it! Service is always outstanding. The vibe/ambiance is also kinda cozy. Very clean and tidy. I also got their hojicha tea, which was delish and came with 2 cups and a clear teapot :).

this place really surprised me! they have a solid menu with good staples but also intriguing seasonal specials. i had the cold clam ramen (added bamboo shoots) and it was delicious and super refreshing. the broth had a really clean and flavorful taste, the clams were cooked perfectly, and the lemon made it so bright. it's a perfect summer meal. it came with this giant lemon and a squeezer which was fun. we sat in the back outside patio, which is a nice space that mixes outdoor and indoor. the staff was friendly and welcoming. i'll definitely be back soon to try another type of ramen, although it will be hard for me not to order the clams again.

I've been here to Hinodeya Ramen Bar a few times now. Originally, I tried their vegan ramen and since they execute it pretty well, that's been keeping me coming back. The vegan ramen is $17 and comes with spinach noodles, shitake mushrooms, inari, kale, acorn squash slice, nori, sesame seeds, and a piece of bell pepper. The broth is on the sweet side, but creamy and wholesome. To improve it, I'd love to see them add sweet corn as well. Maybe also make a vegetarian option with an egg added too. Their Hinodeya Ramen ($16) is pretty good and basic. It has bamboo shoots, pork slices, half an egg, green onions, spinach, and a slice of nori. The broth has a nice seafood taste from the dashi and scallops used. The pork could be a bit more flavorful though since I found it on the bland side. Not a bad place to come for ramen if you're craving it!

My coworker and I dine here fairly often, and we are always pleased with the food and service. I always order the spicy miso ramen along with the chicken karage. While I wish their portions were slightly bigger for sharing, I think the quality of the food itself was perfect for me. The thin-cut pork in my soup was very flavorful and not too chewy. The noodles were soft but not too soggy and the broth was savory. If you're looking for a ramen restaurant that's open late, I'd definitely recommend this to you. The only caveat is the parking situation; there are very few parking spaces and Doordashers will usually double park in the red zone, making it hard to enter/leave.

Delicious spot for ramen! I was looking for a restaurant to eat in the Campbell area and found this place. We came here with friends and our doggies, the staff were accommodating and seated us at the covered outdoor patio. They have a small parking lot behind the restaurant, so parking was easy. I was pleased to see that they had Tori Paitan Ramen on their ramen, which is chicken ramen. I had this for the first time in Japan, so I was eager to try it again. The Tori Paitan Ramen was delicious and the chicken broth was tasty as well. There were also plenty of toppings included in the bowl, which I enjoyed. Hinodeya Ramen Bar made for a great meal, and I would recommend them if you're looking for a good bowl of ramen in the Campbell area.
