🤦 Another farming-adjacent market. There was maybe 1.5 "farmers" at this market actually selling summer produce and inextricably NO fresh corn on July 25th?!! I may have missed it, but didnt see any eggs either. Dont get me wrong, there are good local crafts folk and artisans with, Im sure, great products on offer but although its hip and in donelson, its not what i would call a farmers market. But do go, mill around and support our local businesses. If you like turmeric shots, bead jewelry, and goats milk lotion, this market has your back. But if youre looking to buy a bushel of corn to freeze for winter, or produce in general, id try somewhere else.

Made the trip from Old Hickory to get Peach Truck peaches to make peach crumble that was very delicious.

Loved this market, tons of foods and things to try. There was a harp concert going on, with people lounging around the green area taking it in. Food trucks, nice parking, great scenery. Get there early if you want to guarantee being able to get the best, freshest foods.

My wife and I moved to the Percy Priest-Donelson area a few years ago, so it was nice to discover a very active and lively farmers market. Everyone here is so friendly, and there is a nice variety of produce and products offered at this farmers market. It’s held weekly on the grounds of a historic home, and it’s a beautiful location. Thank you to all who help make this possible. We love being able to buy fresh and local produce and goods.

We've been attending this market for the last three years, and this new venue at Two Rivers Mansion is amazing! Love the vendors, live music, and food trucks. Our little family has enjoyed our Friday night traditions with Hip D.

Nice venue at Two Rivers Mansion! The vendors were super nice with a very wide selection of produce & related items. The parking is free and next Friday is the last time to visit this season until next May.

Yelp
Super cute farmers market located next to the two rivers mansion. There are a decent amount of vendors at this market (at least when we went) and we loved the location. I believe you are able to take a tour of the inside of the mansion but we did not. Plenty of fresh produce from local farmers as well as coffee, pastries, fresh bread and local goods. We especially liked the hours (Friday 4p-7p)!

Yelp
It was a great experience at the new venue for the market. There is room for the vendors to display their wares and to walk around. More shade would be helpful for picnics and listening to music. A great improvement. The food choices were good.

Yelp
This a fun farmer's market in Donelson (hence the name). If you're driving down Lebanon Pike, keep an eye out for the Ace Hardware store. The market is in the lot. Don't be deterred by this. There's lots to enjoy. What the market may lack in size, it makes up in diversity of product and good cheer of/from the vendors. Of particular note: Artisan cheese from Kenny's Farmhouse cheese; Prof. Bailey's pimento cheese (I can't stop eating it; someone take it away from me before I gain 60 pounds); Papa C's pies (see above); Vegan spinach almond dip that stacks up to your favorite cream-based spinach artichoke dips; hickory syrup from Hales Haven; artisan soaps (I didn't know that I had a thing for artisan soaps until I started frequenting farmer's markets. Now, I'm *way* too fancy for Dial. #changedman); fresh produce; salsa; and jams. And the above are just items that pique my interest/dig in to my wallet. There are many more items from which to choose. Again, in comparison to markets of similar (even slightly bigger) sizes throughout the metro, I don't know that you'll find a better mix of vendors and goods. Donelson is throwing down the gauntlet, y'all. You other metro areas best take note. Season starts back up today.

Yelp
I really like when people not only listen to feedback, but also act upon it. In my last review, I had some major concerns about parking and pedestrian safety. Overflow parking now has clear signage (see photo), and there are also people in florescent vests directing traffic so that pedestrians can safely cross the street (see photo). There is also a shuttle that runs from the overflow lot, so that if you don't want to walk then you don't have to. Kudos for all these improvements! Also, if you have never had an empanada from Casa Segovia-Paz, then you have been missing out. Their chicken empanadas are amazing as well as the cilantro-based sauce that it is served with. I think this food vendor is out there every week (at least I hope they are). Bottom Line: Donelson is at least making strides to become a better community, and I think this is worth checking out at least once. 3.75 stars.

Yelp
Kind people. Great food. Wicked hot today but it's set up very smart. Very easy to get through. Samples the first round. Purchases the second round. They have a small area with live music that is just loud enough. The gelato has a better logo than product so the $4 for a prepackaged single serving was disappointing. I ordered coffee flavored but it was pretty blah. Just made dinner of cilantro lime pasta, chicken and sourdough bread. Can't wait to go back next week!

Yelp
What can I say about the donelson farmers market that hasn't been said? There's always great producers there! The only thing it's missing is butter and dairy. I know there's a fancy butter company, but I mean just plain old butter!

Yelp
I really liked this farmer's market! I got there right at four so I had no problems parking. Some highlights- the pimento cheese, French breakfast radishes, and beautiful Japanese eggplants. What I would love to try are the homemade tortillas. There's a nice mix of produce, meat, and other prepared goods.

Yelp
Had family visiting from Pennsylvania and thought this would be a fun thing to do with them. The vegetables looked terrible and there NO tomatoes. Most of the booths were soaps and the like. $8 for a bar of soap. Only one food truck, BBQ. We waited 45 minutes for the order and then there was no place to sit. The 2 tables were occupied the whole time. We had a hard time eating standing up. I doubt if I'll go back or recommend any one to go.
