Great sushi spot in green valley/anthem area. Excellent food and service. Reasonably priced with great selection and variety of food. Very Friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely be visiting again.

First time coming to this sushi restaurant. And my experience was TOP tier! Welcome you soon as you enter. Offered me my drink choose and yes they diabetic friendly chooses of drinks and sushi. I recommend the sushi combating plate. Sushi taste fresh! Staff was super friendly and kind. I will becoming back!

I go here often with my partner and it's such a nice spot. The food is delicious and the creativity with the rolls is refreshing. Definitely great if you want to try something new. I personally love the salmon carpaccio and takoyaki

Parking is always a breeze here. We love getting the black rice rolls. We noticed there is a bigger selection of the black rice options for dine in, than take-out. We eat here almost weekly haven't had any bad or lacking service. Food comes out quick. And the fish is always fresh, I've yet to have any sort of quality issue regarding their food. You get great quality sushi at really reasonable prices. This will continue to be our "usual" sushi spot for the foreseeable future.

The food and the service were awesome. I tried several black rice rolls, and hand rolls. The Natto Roll (fermented soy beans) was a unique flavor, unlike anything I’ve ever had. Odd, but I loved it. Hands down the best sushi place I’ve ever been to.

Let’s start this off by saying if you go here, ask for Titi!!! I have been in the service industry for over 21 years and she was exceptional! I’m always polite but anyone in the industry knows that servers, bartenders, managers, are all particular about their food and service, so although I’m polite, I know I’m needy… I tip well tho for my neediness haha anyways, when I asked her how long she had been serving, she said 5 months. Girl, you have a craft that some people haven’t mastered after YEARS of trying! You are a natural and I applaud you! You pay attention to details, social cues(I made eye contact with you multiple times and you were immediately at the table) and you were on top of everything, even clearing the table. 10/10 you need to ask for her when you come here! Also, the staff as a whole was extremely helpful, teamwork makes the dream work and the owners and managers of this establishment should be proud of their crew! The food was outstanding as well, very fresh and came out fast! Thank you to your entire team, especially Titi! <3

First off, ordering at this resturant was such a terrible decision on my part and a HUGE waste of time. I arrived at store opening 11am and was their first customer to place a TO-GO order and I didn't end up leaving until 45 minutes later. Also to note the only other people there was a family of 3 and a couple that arrived shortly after I did I noticed they all didn't have an appetizer or any food on their tables by the time I left. To have ordered a California Roll, 5pcs Eel Avocado Roll, an order of Edamame Beans and Miso Soup shouldn't take a 45 minute wait. All the meanwhile I'm wondering why theres so many online orders being put up front before i get my simple TO-GO order. Let me say the wait was bad but the food was even worse! These are 2 of the simplest sushi rolls and one doesn't even include fish in it. My "Avocado Eel Roll" was only Eel and rice wrapped in seaweed (they forgot the avocado). I tried a piece of the "Avocado Eel roll" and it was gross and rubbery with no Eel sauce, just bad also really wanted avocado in it. Then I tried the Miso Soup that was half filled and also cold. The Edamame Beans were not salted even lighty and also piping cold. To order such simple menu items and still have it all messed up ruined my appetite and my lunch literally. 👎👎👎👎👎

I like this place quite a lot, I went twice in two weeks! Everything I've tried was good/great and black rice rolls were definitely unique and delicious. I can't remember the names of all the things I tried but I'd say they are all 4-5 out of 5. Can't seem to go wrong here. Would go back when I'm in the area!

My new fave sushi restaurant. We went there for lunch around 1130am. It was not too busy so we were able to sit down pretty quick. Staff were very friendly, on point and fast. I ordered Yuzu sake, which tasted lemony and refreshing. However, it wasn't my favorite as I am more of an Apple sake kinda girl. The best sushi was the Blue Fin and Cajun Seared Tuna. The best ever! As soon as you take a bite it practically melted in your mouth. We ordered it 3 times! They had a lot of option with black rice rolls. We ordered one, crabtrappp roll. Flavor was excellent, it was a little heavy on the side though. Never had had a black rice roll before so we will try it again. I had the green tea ice cream, I know boring but it was delicious and very creamy. My husband had the cheesecake tempura which was excellent flavor! We ordered chicken teriyaki to go for my mother in law and she loved it. Overall, wonderful spot and food was excellent.

I knew we were off to a bad start when I ordered a diet coke and they gave me a pepsi without informing me that they carry pepsi products... Our first plate came out with salmon, scallop, toro, and bluefin tuna nigiri. Although it wasn't as bad as how sad it looked, it definitely was not good. The unagi and vegetable tempura were so-so. The sweet shrimp and the crispy black lotus were the best items here, but definitely not good enough to make up for everything else. -Service was decent -Prices are on the cheaper side for sushi (but I'd rather pay a little more for better quality) -They're all about the black rice here-- didn't seem to change too much of the taste

We have been coming here for years, and the food really is top notch. Every roll we have ever tried has been absolutely perfect. Nothing beats this place. So why the 3 star review? Tonight we walked in, and we noticed that the chairs at the bar were changed. Not a big deal...except I can't sit down in them. They are so narrow that I found myself sitting with the arms digging into my hips and legs. And this forced us to sit at a booth. One of the primary reasons we come here is the staff. We love sitting at the bar and interacting with John and Howard. And we couldn't do that tonight because the chairs were simply not usable. Unfortunately, we can't go back unless they change the chairs. 10+ years, and we don't want to sit at a booth. We are there for the staff as much as the food. Please change the chairs at the bar back so we can sit in them!

Fish was not fresh. Everything had an after taste and was extra fishy. There are ACE places that serve fresher fish. Service was good. Ambiance is cozy and homey. I will not be back. Maybe it's me or they were having an off moment. Idk.

Update - Still the same standard of quality, friendly service and delicious black rice. The menu has shifted a bit but almost all of the favorites remain and a ton of new options. They now have a specials menu with some nice additions. In addition to a multitude of sushi options, you can also get fried rice (try the seafood black fried rice), udon, donburi, teryaki, katsu and more. Seating can be limited at peak times, but waits are usually short and the food makes it worthwhile.

I ordered this place for delivery and I really enjoyed it! My daughter was craving a California Roll so I came across this place that we have not tried before. I am so glad we decided to try this place out! We ordered the california roll, tuki roll, and crunch shrimp tempura roll. They were all delicious and fresh! I will definitely be in again in the future and I cannot wait to try some other items on the menu!

I've been ordering take out from here weekly and it's always consistent. Their black rice roles are great, I've tried nearly all of them at this point. Definitely not a budget type of place you'd typically find in Vegas, so expect great quality and great consistency. Although lately I've been doing take-out, I have dined in a few times during the afternoon, and it's gernally slow, so food comes out relatively fast. Parking is very easy to find throughout the day and night, even for takeout orders. I generally always find a spot at the front. Wish they had a second location closer to me.

During our stay in Vegas, family member recommended Hiroba...awesome place to get your Japanese cuisine variety. Everything we ordered was very good...especially, the Hamachi collar, so goood! Highly recommend if you're in Henderson area!

This sushi is so good and don't get me started on the spicy garlic edamame. YUM!!!! This place is our family favorite and we just can't get enough! The ambiance is family friendly and the service is really great too.

We preordered on phone. It was busy busy. Every table was full and everyone looked like they were enjoying sushi. I took off a star cuz they forgot our miso soups. Service was great, I didn't check the bags. I tried the spicy pork instead of bbq short ribs. The spicy pork was dry and I am not a fan. I do enjoy the pork katsu everytime. My wife loves the salmon teri and bbq short ribs. Thank you Hiroba. We were stuffed!

Came here for a quick bite to eat with my boyfriend and his family. Portions were good sized and sushi was fresh. Staff was very friendly, as well. Plenty of parking in the open lot out front, making it quick and easy. The menu was extensive and even had a whole section with sushi rolls with black rice, which was unique! Haven't seen that before. We went for lunch on a Monday, so the place wasn't crowded and the food came out quick (about 5-10 minutes after we ordered). Overall, great spot for a quick bite to eat!

I came here on a busy Saturday evening. Initially, I thought I was going to wait for a long time, since I saw some people waiting outside and inside looked packed(usually this is a good thing) However, this was not the case at all. Sonny immediately greeted me and made me feel at home and like family. Taking a look at the menu, I saw many items that you don't see at typical sushi places such as black rice sushi and a significant selection of no rice rolls. We opted to get the salmon sashimi and the red sun no rice roll; the salmon sashimi was melt in your mouth good and the red sun was very light and packed with flavor. The red sun was less spicier than I expected, which was to my delight. For appetizers, we had the spicy edamame. Again, it was not particularly spicy, but packed with flavor and little kicks here and there. As far as the establishment goes, it is smaller than other sushi places, but it has a nice homey feel. Great for the family and people with kids. For those not wanting tables, there is a bar available for seating.

New hidden gem sushi was really fresh and the black rice just overall has a better taste and feel in my opinion. The fish is fresh and cuts are pretty decent for price point. My only dislike was the garlic tuna as it didn't have much of a garlic flavor. Service was also friendly and attentive! They also offer military discount as well as other promos throughout the week!

I recently found Hiroba Sushi after seeing so many positive reviews! Seeing how close to home it was for me, I decided to give it a try for lunch. Rather small and charming inside, and with a small bar to sit at to watch the sushi being made. The staff is attentive, welcoming, and spot on with their service. But what about the sushi? It's some of the best I have had! No, it's not AYCE, but that's ok as the quality of the sushi is superb! There's time and attention given to every roll and piece that goes out to the tables. The rolls are fantastic, with perhaps the fried and baked rolls being my favorite! The hot house sake is served so hot, which is how I prefer it, that you need to be mindful of that when grabbing the sake! I've been perhaps three or four times in less than a month, and I kick myself that I didn't find them sooner!

End of an era: We've been loyal customers of this sushi place for years, bringing our kids since they were little. Whenever we visit Las Vegas from Los Angeles, this has been our go-to spot because the kids love it, and the food has always been fantastic at a reasonable price. The staff has always been accommodating to our family. However, since the change in ownership, we've noticed a decline in quality, pricing, and overall vibe. What used to be generous portions now feels limited--where we once enjoyed multiple pieces, we now receive just three for the same price. I understand prices can rise, but it's disappointing that the previous owners managed to maintain both quality and pricing for so long. Regrettably, we've decided not to return. We'll be searching for a new sushi place during our visits to Vegas. We've recommended this spot to family and friends in the past, and they all loved it, but it seems things have changed. All good things must come to an end, I suppose

We love Hiroba! Staff is friendly and attentive and food and fish is always fresh. Im here almost weekly so the noticeable price increases to the menu are a bit disappointing. Bring back the coke machines!

Stopped in for lunch after my hair appointment. I had the Sushi Combination platter which came with miso soup and salad. It quite a bit of food for the price so that is appreciated. The staff was kind, the fish was fresh and the service was quick. A very positive experience and I'll be back!

The food and service is excellent. I've eaten at a lot of sushi places and Hiroba is one of the top 3 places I've been to. The fish is fresh, and the servers are calm even when they're busy!

I wasn't sure what to expect from "black rice" sushi, but the wife and I didn't have the kids with us and we wanted a sushi lunch. We checked Yelp and this is the spot that intrigued us most. It is only 5 minutes from our house and I'e never had black rice sushi before. I MUST say... This is my new favorite sushi spot. Osaka is still good for a more traditional experience. Hiroba is our new everyday spot. We had one in San Jose and when we moved to Henderson, we hadn't found our neighborhood spot. The people and service here are great. The fish was fresh. The rice was perfectly seasoned. Everything was on point. I'm not sure the black rice tasted that much different, but I think that's the point. It's supposed to be healthier, but still the same texture and flavor. I def prefer black rice rolls over brown rice rolls. Brown rice rolls just don't feel right to me.

I love this place. Via delivery partners, in the summer and still amazing. Everything is fresh and yummy, great miso soup and we love the salad dressing! It's so good! Ordered via Grubhub this time and called the restaurant to ask for extra ginger- they delivered. YAY! This place is my #1 sushi spot.

The sushi is so fresh and the beer / rice lager Orion beer ichigo beer and so hard to find from Japan.

Food is great, service great. Ambiance is lively during dinner and quieter during lunch. Love their rolls, and their teriyaki grilled chicken really has a nice char and taste.

What a great little sushi spot! Was looking for a fun sushi place for my birthday and this fit the bill. We went on a Friday night around 6:30/7, part of 5 and we're seated immediately. We ordered a number of rolls, with a heavy emphasis on the black rice rolls. Black lemon, limelight, Mang in black, and adding black rice to blue fin tuna. Delicious and really cool looking! The Black Lemon was my favorite. The citrus was delicious but not overpowering. We also had a number if appetizers, all very yummy. Food came out at a reasonable pace, the price wasn't obnoxious, the quality was very good. We will be back!

Honestly had high expectations for this place, but it was just ok. The fish wasn't as fresh. But it's fine, I'm glad I tried it.

We found this spot on Yelp and it had good reviews. The black rice intrigued us in particular. The location is humble but the food is not. Absolutely delicious. The black rice sushi dishes were particularly sublime. The fish was fresh and all prepared with care. Everything was nicely spiced. Plenty of pickled ginger which is sometimes short in other restaurants. And the staff was terrific. Attentive and friendly. Answered all our questions knowledgeably. The owner came by our table. Extremely nice gentleman. We don't live in Las Vegas but will definitely return here if we're in the area.

I've had better sushi at all you can eat! Definitely over priced! 40$ for tiny rolls. Looks bigger in the picture. Mushy avocado... and the salmon tasted fishy in a bad way. I don't understand the hype here! Very disappointed. Will not be coming back:/ Also drove from Boulder City to try this place. SMH

Yelp has been so reliable when looking for a place to eat and this one was another winner. We were in search of another location when we stumbled upon Hiroba Sushi. Based on reviews I figured it was worth the stop. We were only going to be in town for a few days so I figured we would try different options. Can I say we ate there twice and considered a third visit in the four days we were in Vegas. The food here is sooooo delicious. Not only did they offer my favorite "salmon collar", they also had more than one no rice roll option. We had the Island Breeze, Orange Blossom, Mang in Black (first place we have tried that offered black rice and mangoes in their rolls), Jumping Lobster (bake) and Volcano. The seaweed salad and edamame were just as delicious. Our first visit we were a party of three, and on our second visit we convinced nine more people to join us. Service was amazing both visits. They checked on us multiple times and just made the whole experience an enjoyable one. If you are ever in the area I highly recommend you visit them.

Hiroba sushi... Let me start off by saying DELICOUS!!! This is a hole in the wall sushi pot that you will WANT to visit. They have black rice sushi that is to die for. The service is great as well! All around I recommend coming here. My wife is not a sushi person and she is always asking to go back.

It was my first visit. I ordered the combination fried rice. It was excellent. The portions are well worth the price. The customer service was outstanding. I will definitely return again. Very clean establishment.

Friday night and decided to get in an early dinner out. Our first time here. Got in just in time as the place started to get crowded yet our server was awesome continuing to check on us. Had not had sushi in a while and was famished! Wifey had the 'Dancing Dragon' and I had Sushi/Sashimi everything I can fill my gut. Delicious fresh cuts and amazing server who always made sure we were satisfied. I was too hungry and forgot to take pics of the rest of our orders. Their menu is packed with so many options as your mouth waters what to order. Highly recommend and def will come back for the other experiences in the menu. Cannot go wrong here.

I love Hiroba so much, my only wish is that they had another location in Summerlin. Hiroba is the only place in town (as far as I know) that you can get black rice sushi. Black rice (aka forbidden rice) offers a healthier option than white rice. The fish is always fresh. The staff and owners are friendly and it's very clean. Some of my favorites include the homemade coconut tempura shrimp, the Black Lemon and Super Duper Rolls. We travel across the city for this sushi, highly recommend.

Great food But very pricey. I used to go once a week, but now every other week because of the prices. Good service and good employees with good vibes.

I've been coming here since they've opened and I absolutely love it. Recently they changed ownership, and although I was worried how that would effect the quality and service, they have definitely exceeded my expectations! I really appreciate the new servers who seem more experienced in the service industry, you can definitely tell the difference. They are more personable, welcoming and happy. The new management are experienced and they definitely care. Shout out to Eddie, Perla, Yoji and Jeff Food is always on point and their music selection as of late is great :)

A staple if you're ever near Green Valley area! Lunch or dinner you have to make it in. This place has the best quality of fish and everything comes out so quick. If you love hand rolls get a yellowtail hand roll. Can never go wrong with a "oh my roll" Also try the "screaming O" and it will keep you coming back.. don't let your server take the left over sauce! Servers are always on top of everything with checking to make sure your drinks are filled and are extremely nice! We love the fact that the sushi chef remember us every time we come back! Prices are also great and ambiance has a great vibe. Go try this place out!

We went here for lunch before heading back home to California. This was definitely a great pick by my cousin. It was her treat and she definitely knows her Japanese food. They were very friendly here. We had a reservation for 12 and they had more than one server servicing to our needs....service was perfect! Their food is very good. We ordered one of their party platters (I think that is what it's called). Just wow! My son ordered Bulgogi Beef and he said it was really good. The restaurant is small but very clean including the bathroom. It was a great and satisfying pick. I totally recommend this place. So, if you are visiting Las Vegas and like Japanese food, come check out this restaurant.

We ordered delivery. The food was delicious. We had bento boxes and sushi rolls. The only thing as far as service was they forgot the salmon bowl that my daughter ordered. Luckily there was left over from one of the Bento boxes that she can eat.

I'm really saddened that Hiroba quality has gone down hill the last year. I would frequent this place at least monthly for mostly take out. Last week I called the restaurant to place a pick up order, no answer just a message that they are busy with other customers. I attempted to call multiple more times and same message. I went on the website and finally realized they do take phone orders online thru Grub Hub. (I recommend message states if would like a phone order go to website and place order) When I picked up my order 40-60min later per Grub Hub, my order was missing rice in my Chicken Katsu entree order and missing salad dressing with my salad. Not sure if i will be back! There are so many other choices in the area.

This is the best place to eat great sushi and udon! 20/10 so fresh and delicious. Amazing and diverse menu, love the black rice option for rolls. Amazing service, amazing chefs as well.

Sad to say our rolls were not fresh. The imitation crab on our crunch roll was sour and salty fishy taste. Hate to send food back so we just left it.. Ever since the new owners took over the quality has gone down. So sad because I used to love this place. It was our go to for all kinds of sushi for the past 5 years. Last, I love to see that they kept some of the original staff members but the new girl that is 5'3 brown hair, has a terrible attitude when requesting "mild or not spicy" flavor. She been there since the take over but I'm sorry to say, she's not warm welcoming to your business.

Let me tell you Vegas has no shortage of amazing sushi spots. They're everywhere, and most of them are pretty solid. So when my friend Cory the resident "Duck Dynasty" setup a sushi night at Hiroba Sushi I had to try it. Looking at the menu I had never sampled black rice before, so that was a must. All of their rolls were fire, especially the black rice variations. They had real wasabi too, but I'm bummed we didn't try any straight sashimi. Their rice-less roll was awesome though. This spot is not an AYCE, and I'm bummed a couple the night before bought all of their in-house lager to take home. My buddy from Boulder calls the fat kid rolls we killed "cheeseburger rolls" and by that logic we devoured a 40 pack! Overall, I liked this spot and I'd go back. Next time fewer cheeseburgers! I love sushi, it's one of the cuisines I can eat daily.
