"Run by talented owner-chef Gregor Vračko, Hiša Denk is a real culinary institution and is housed in a minimalist and contemporary-style building which blends in harmoniously with the surrounding countryside. The menu features five or seven courses, with additional small dishes added occasionally. This is an amazing restaurant! Even though it is kind of pricey, it is totally worth it! This is my first Michelin star restaurant, and I never ever had food that was better than this!! Also, the view was amazing and the staff were very kind to us. Also, this had a seasonal menu, which made me surprised that every time someone comes, they eat something different! It is truly spectacular, and I love it! Hiša Denk, I hope you get 3 Michelin stars!!!

One of the best restaurants we tried in Slovenia. The dinner was really an amazing experience. Everything was so delicious and every dish was designed carefully. We also stayed the night in their rooms which are also very nice.

We had an amazing experience at Hisa Denk. The staff was so kind and helpful, they really made us feel special. They think of every little detail! The food was delicious, there wasn't anything that we wouldn't like. The plates were arranged very thoughtfully and with every bite we had an explosion of flavours that we haven't taste before. |They also have a cute park with fish pond outside that you can admire, the whole atmosphere is very cosy and nice.

Been at the restaurant twice already this year and I have to say I absolutely love the food even in comparison with other Michelin starred restaurants. The ambient is really nice, the entire experience can get a bit long - count on 2.5-3 hours for a comfortable lunch and I'd say a good 3-4 hours for dinner - nevertheless it's worth even a significant detour. If there's only one thing to mention as room for improvement: that'd be the espresso, I'd love to have some nice specialty coffee that is not burned and can be one more stop on this culinary journey.

We had very tasty 5 course dinner in Hiša Denk. The interior is beautiful and the meals were complex, yet familiar. The staff was all very kind however, the waiters didn't seem to be so professional. We expected better presentation of the dishes and better organisation of staff. Also, we asked for wine and a bottle of tap water which they kept bringing without asking if we want more. In the end they made us pay for three bottles of tap water without mentioning it. There should be more professionalism.

Amazing restaurant. If you’re up for a high quality but cool fine dining experience with amazing flavors this is your place. Great service, nice interior and I appreciate the focus on local produce, tableware etc.

Amazing experience!! We ordered a 5-course menu (85€ on 5.10.2025 + 17€ for an optional caviar on the fish course), but if you count everything we got — including the greetings from the kitchen — it was actually 8 courses! Every dish was an explosion of flavor and texture, the staff were super friendly, and the price-performance ratio was fantastic. I left really full and happy — who says fine dining doesn’t fill you up? Highly recommend!
