"This extra small Oak Cliff coffee shop, owned by wife and husband duo Jeniffer Avilá and Daniel Hinojosa, is an intimate experience. So intimate that there are only a couple of seats, with a few more added outside when the weather permits. With beans from Avilá’s native Honduras in the grinder, coffee lovers can expect a rich cup. Now in Oak Cliff as well." - Courtney E. Smith

This place came highly recommended by my friend Petra and it did not disappoint. I got their dulce latte (cold) and it was better than you could imagine. I understand why it’s their most popular, I also got their avocado toast which was on sourdough bread, it was flavorful to say the least. The service was great too, you can tell they really put effort into how they made the coffee and toast. The overall aesthetic of the shop was nice and it was very cozy. We sat in there for a hour or so and they treated every customer well. Definitely will be back!!

So good!!! First time and it’s in deep Dallas so took a few wrong turns but the drinks were so good and worth it. Banana matcha was so good and foam was amazing. Their signature dulce latte was also so yummy and not too bitter but not too sweet.

Out of so many coffee shops in Dallas. Hola Cafe continues to be my favorite. I will pick Hola Cafe over any coffee any time! The atmosphere as well as the staff are immaculate. This place has grown on me to be a place to enjoy a cup of coffee, read a book and just enjoy the record player playing in the background. Jeni and Daniel have created an amazing business that I’ve had the pleasure to see grow and continue to see it strive. Wish this establishment all the great success that it deserves. Anyone that visits Dallas should take their time to visit Hola Cafe and let them get immersed in this experience and enjoy the amazing coffee.

Google
Just look at how cute this coffee shop is! I’m obsessed with their cute matcha latte art (made by request), and the latte itself was so delicious. Hola Cafe was very popular on a Friday afternoon, that it was a little hard to find seating, but the wait for the coffee isn’t long, so people were coming and going a lot. The decorations and whole atmosphere was just emasculate! A must visit for locals!

Google
So yummy! I had the vanilla matcha with vanilla cold foam, delish! The kolache was delicious too

Google
It's gonna be a 5-5 for me. Coffee is amazing, and they're bites/pastries. I personally love the almond croissant the ducle latte. Staff is friendly and fast, and they have a few tables to enjoy your morning coffee either inside or outside. Highly recommend.

Google
This is my favorite coffee shop in Dallas! The quality of the coffee is one of the best I’ve found. I’m back from traveling so I had to stop by this weekend. They have their holiday menu with some nice treats. I ordered the iced biscoff latte with oat milk. Perfectly sweet, creamy, paired with cold foam topped with biscoff crumbles and a biscoff biscuit to accompany the drink. Love the aesthetic and atmosphere of this shop! This is a small intimate coffee shop. The weekends get crazy busy so if you are joining a group of friends just be mindful that you probably will have trouble finding a table/seats. Parking is never an issue here with plenty of street parking. Love this gem in Dallas, check it out if you haven’t.

Delicious coffee in a simple designed cafe. Loved the decor and the music playing. Will be back to try their matcha.

Yelp
Finally finally finally got to visit Hola Cafe!! Spent a lovely late morning here co-working with my colleague and absolutely adored our visit. Nestled on the edge of Oak Cliff/Bishop Arts, this is the newest location after they moved across the street. When you walk in, it just feels like you're hanging in the streets of LA. The vibe is just dope. There are large, bright windows that bring in beautiful, natural light and the perfectly monotoned decor just seals the deal. Best part? The coffee is flipping delicious. Iced latte here was exquisite. I also splurged on a glazed donut because why the hell not? Fluffy goodness! I can't wait to come back and just hang here for a few hours. Oh and bonus: the music just added to the great ambiance. Great selection and not too loud.

Yelp
4/5 Drinks, only had the opportunity to have a dulce latte, their popular item. Was very unique in flavor! 5/5 Service, sweet baristas, lax, clean, and timely drinks prepared 5/5 Ambiance, great interior, great lighting for day cafes, decent amount of seating. Clean bathroom and establishment.

Bhavika K.

Yelp
The menu is a little small but the strawberry matcha was tasty! The cafe has a minimalist feel to it and has tables to sit and chat or work at. The only difficult part about this cafe is the parking. All the parking is street parking so if you go during a busy time it might be hard to park.

Yelp
Good coffee and friendly staff! Parking can be a pain but other than that this place is awesome.

Mary T.

Yelp
Super cute little cafe. Noise level average as the crowd is constantly moving in and out. Even though they were packed they got the drinks out pretty quick. Workers are super nice. Drinks were decent. I got the matcha latte and it was pretty standard. There's only 1 unisex restroom. Parking kinda sucks(shouldnt be a surprise due to the area)

Tien L.

Yelp
They moved to a bigger space across the street! Lots more seatings and the space is decorated tastefully. Great picture ops. Bought a strawberry matcha -- it is sweetened but not too sweet. The strawberry tasted natural, not syrupy. The matcha flavor isn't strong but that's how I prefer my matcha so I enjoyed my drink. Matcha critics might not approve of it though. I did not see many outlets so maybe not the best for wfh folks but it's a great place for reading, conversations, and coffee/drinks.

Paulina H.

Yelp
When you search for their address it will show you the location right across the street, I think they moved to other side recently. They have plenty of street parking and not many people around. When you walked you, you felt so peaceful and you will vibe with the environment immediately. It's hard to find a spot to seat because every seat were taken, some were doing work and some were just chilling and enjoying coffee. I love that they have no computer zone. We were greeted by the barista, I think there's only one guy working there, and he was nice. He made really good coffee. It was strong and tasty, and since it's iced but it didn't taste watered down. The hot americano was steaming hot just like how my husband like it. Would recommend to go back.

Yelp
WHAT I ORDERED: Tiramisu Matcha Latte, Cronut, Jalapeno Hotdog Bun PARKING: Street Parking INSIDE: Limited menu but fun seasonal drinks available. There is limited seating as it seems more like a stop and go place but the staff were friendly and moved quick. There is one bathroom available. Maps took me to the original location but the new location is just across the street. THE FOODS/DRINKS: The whipped cream was delicious and I like how the latte comes with a little sugary biscuit. It was a nice touch having the bakery items toasted without me even asking. The cronut was soft yet you could still feel the layers of a croissant and there were jalapenos inside the bun which was a nice surprise. I would definitely come back to try their other drinks and baked goods.

Yelp
Coffee = A+ Avocado Toast = A+ This location is in a TINY spot in Bishop Arts. But the staff there get people in and out with their goodies pretty quickly. So don't be discouraged by the line that sometimes goes out the front door. They have breakfast burritos. But it's only served during weekends. Either way. Great place for good coffee.

Melody V.

Yelp
Limited menu but everything we ordered was good! They have breakfast tacos on the weekend but run out pretty quickly. The avocado toast is surprisingly a huge portion, they don't skimp on the toast or avocado. There was a line out the door when we went and limited seating inside.

Fatima C.

Yelp
Environment is really pretty! Absolutely love the clean look with the artsy pieces, staff is nice! The coffee I tried was really good, I loved the foam on top. My only complaint was the price. It's a good coffee spot, but the coffee wasn't out of this world to pay 17.54 for 2 drinks.

Vidhi P.

Yelp
An absolute must when you're in dallas! The seasonal menu is always worth checking out. I tried the banana latte and it was so good! Not too sweet and not bitter at all. The downside of this cafe is finding parking since it's street parking only on a pretty tight street and the shop itself is pretty small. But the drinks make up for that!

Hailey A.

Yelp
Cute little shop in bishop arts that appears to be dog friendly, which I love. Staff is nice and quick and making the drinks. It was fairly busy when I went and ordered 5 drinks and it took less than 10 minutes to get the drinks. The horchata cafe is delicious as well as the dulce de leche! Great options for seating and waiting especially for the size of the building.

Neema S.

Yelp
Visited Hola Cafe on Saturday morning. Street parking was easy and convenient right outside the coffee shop. I am so glad we came, it made my Saturday all the better!! I got the banana matcha - spoiler alert: officially my favorite matcha in Dallas. My husband got the Dulce Latte which he thoroughly enjoyed. The seating in the coffee shop is limited, but we didn't have any trouble finding a spot. Our pup was welcome too. The aesthetic of the coffee shop is cute and minimalist if that's your vibe. Service was friendly, no complaints there. Will definitely be back!

Rachel J.

Yelp
This is honestly one of the best coffees I've had in such a long time! I've had this place on my list for a while and decided to try it out and get a little treat. This coffee shop makes me homesick and gives me West Village, NYC vibes. The baristas here are so friendly! I asked for the most popular items and opted for the dulce latte latte with oat milk. That cold foam is incredible. The drink is not cloyingly sweet and such a treat. You can taste the quality of the beans in every sip. $8 and change for my latte is prettyy high if you ask me. Would I come here multiple times a week, probably not. Definitely worth the treat though and checking out! The quality of the coffee is incredible. There is ample street parking. Also, I came around 2:30 on the weekday and they close at 3. They were still delighted to serve me and didn't push anyone away who still ordered at 2:45-2:50. Very nice because some places operate differently.

Alberto A.

Yelp
I was traveling to Dallas for work and came across Hola cafe, this coffee shop was absolutely amazing. The employees were really friendly and helpful. Great place for delicious coffee.

Alisha S.

Yelp
I love hola! I especially love their seasonal banana matcha! I will say the matcha is a little pricey coming around to $7+ but they put some kind of addictive factor to it cause I can't get enough. What I don't like is the parking situation which of course I know they can't do much about. There's also almost ALWAYS a line out the door. The decor inside is so modern and chic.

Kelly S.

Yelp
Cute, tiny, minimalist coffee shop with the friendliest chillest baristas. They have really cute tiny stools and some nice planters. I like the random cute phrases on the wall. My iced chai with oatmilk was one of the best I've had. Great spot in oak cliff for a quick bev.

Sasha D.

Yelp
Im not one to write bad reviews but im so disappointed with the service. This will be my first and last time coming here, it seemed like they don't like you asking questions when you're ordering your drink. I ordered the horchata coffee and it wasn't as good as i expected. Also, I wanted a pastry but i saw a fly on top of a donut. The place is pretty but it's a no for me.

Yen P.

Yelp
Get their matcha or strawberry matcha! The drinks are delicious and refreshing. The ambience and interior is also beautiful and there's lots of people working or reading here.

Maninderpal M.

Yelp
This place is legit, we stopped here to get some iced coffee and ended up getting the iced hot horchata latte. Very flavorful and they also have food options with pastries etc. the service is quick and the ambiance is that of a small coffee shop with limited seating inside .

Aaron C.

Yelp
I love Hola Cafe. There are many coffee choices in the area but other coffee shops focus on light roast coffees that I don't prefer. Hola Cafe serves a nice medium dark roast which I like. I've not had anything else there.

Christina M.

Yelp
The menu selection is limited, yet, the beverages are fabulous. This place knows what it makes right and focuses on it. The location is small. They have maybe three benches inside. It's mostly a walk up, order and take your beverage to-go kind of place. If you happen to visit on a Saturday or Sunday morning, order the bean burritos. They only offer them on weekends and usually sell out by 11:30am, so you'll need to get there early to take advantage. The only reason I don't give this place 5 stars is the price point. It's much higher than other coffee shops in the area. While beverages are good, it's solely a treat kind of beverage for me since it's a higher price than other equally good spots.

Taylor J.

Yelp
I came in today to get a coffee and try the place out! As I walked in the two guys behind the counter just stared at me, no one greeted me as I walked in. They weren't thrilled to give me any suggestions of what to order being that it was my first time there. They drink was mediocre and the vibe was definitely off. I'll never go back, very unwelcoming!

Shane S.

Yelp
I think this is some of the best coffee in the Bishop Arts area. It's just a tad removed from some of the busier strips, in a very small storefront. There are a couple of spots to sit inside as well as a couple of spots outside. The coffee is quite good. It's not the very bitter, earthy coffee nor the overly bland coffee. I perfect medium.

Rue N.

Yelp
Cute neighborhood coffee shop that I visited for my sister who loves their oatmeal matcha. This place has a very small imprint, just enough space inside to wait while your items are prepared and a couple chairs outside. More of a grab-and-go place. Staff was friendly and fast, but the price point here is high imo. A matcha and croissant was over $12! I don't drink coffee/matcha/tea so I don't frequent these spots myself, so maybe this is normal pricing but I was legit shocked. The product and service was fine, points off due to my sticker shock.

Joshua R.

Yelp
Service here is not great at all. I've never been to a place where I can't order a drink without catching an attitude. If you don't want to work here don't work here.

Javier D.

Yelp
Too specialized and they don't even describe their products well for an extremely overpriced "coffee"

Kayle P.

Yelp
One of my most favorite and treasured coffee spots. They are quick, always attentive, and are always busy. Parking is a bit difficult to find sometimes seeings as it's in Dallas (Bishop arts area) but definitely worth the hassle. :)!

Fg C.

Yelp
This is my stop every morning going go to work I love this place highly recommend this ham cheese and avocado bagel !!

German R.

Yelp
Cute place with nice baristas. Be warned, this place is tiny, I think I counted 3 chairs inside and 2 tables on the outside. You'll be standing g outside if you decide to drink there. Pros-nice people making your coffee. Not over priced. My wife liked the Matcha Latte and Cold Brew average. Cons-limited menu. No prices on items. Very small interior. Come support this small small business.

Dave G.

Yelp
What an excellent grab and go coffee spot. Aesthetics are and the coffee matches. Don't plan on sitting down to work here but it's the perfect place to stop for a coffee before you hit up the thrift and record stores nearby.

Mercedes H.

Yelp
Quaint little cafe. 10 drink options. I got the dulce latte with soy milk-delicious! The space is small so you can't really sit comfortably if they are busy but still worth the trip.

Julia R.

Yelp
This place was super cute! But the cashier was rude and was very unwelcoming, I wish I didn't have this experience or else I would go again.

Madigan M.

Yelp
Blink and you'll miss it! This spare little coffee shop is about the size of a postage stamp, tucked away amongst a few other shops on Tyler, in Oak Cliff. There's only room for one table inside, but there are a few tiny cafe tables out on the sidewalk. Service was fast and friendly. I was torn between a vanilla latte and a chai. I went with the latte which was not too sweet. It was a little on the pricey side - 7 bucks for a medium size drink. They don't appear to have any snacks available and there's no public restroom. Stop by anyway and check out a little shop that makes Oak Cliff cool.

Helen C.

Yelp
Best coffee shop in Dallas!! It's in a quaint area with easy access to street parking. The interior is cozy and very aesthetic, perfect for those instagram drink shots. Service was fast and friendly and they have creative seasonal drinks on the menu! I got the strawberry topo chico since it was hot and I needed something fizzy and refreshing, but I had their matcha latte in the past and it was one of the best lattes I've had in a while. Would definitely recommend checking this place out!!

Crystal R.

Yelp
So good can't even put into words!!! I drove all the way from Joshua to Dallas to try

Jacky J.

Yelp
Drinks are amazing but the customer service from certain workers is insane. The vibes of the place as a whole is great. Unfortunately it has been several times that the same employee catches an attitude while we order.

Kady L.

Yelp
Super cute and modern aesthetics. Good for the gram!!!!! Usually will ordered the vanilla latte and sometimes would ordered avocado toast. Must say, the avocado toast is boring and lack of taste. The bread they use isnt good. Probably won't get it again. Will come back for more drinks :D :D

Steve O.

Yelp
It's a hit or miss, This place is never consistent and too expensive to keep getting mediocre drinks and food.

Alex A.

Yelp
Stopped by the Bishop Arts District's Hola Cafe for a late-afternoon coffee! You'll want to take pictures as soon as you enter this coffee shop because it is a plant lover's paradise. I ordered the Iced Horchata Latte, which was incredibly refreshing, and the espresso, which was slightly acidic and just the way I like it. I'm very excited to come back to this coffee shop again!

Alex B.

Yelp
Chai was alright, came based on the atmosphere but definitely didn't realize it wasn't a sit down and hang out place. There's only 3-4 spots to sit and it was very busy! This is a grab and go place but parking not the most convenient

Paige N.

Yelp
The drinks are great and the service is always super quick. They usually have some sort of fun seasonal drink. It is a tiny bit more expensive than most other coffee shops though. This place is tiny so I wouldn't count on having a place to stay and hang out. I also wish they had more food options.

Emilee S.

Yelp
hola has become my new favorite coffee shop since moving to dallas! i only wish it was closer (like inside my apartment would be perfect) so i could go more often. all the employees are so sweet and have their routines down so service moves quickly. everyone i have taken has also become obsessed! my favorite they've had is their tiramisu latte (PLEASE bring it back year-round). otherwise, i always get their dulce latte with oatmilk and it's to die for.

Shelley F.

Yelp
This coffee shop has a great minimalist aesthetic - simple black and white with greenery in between. We ordered the horchata coffee. The drink was made quickly, and it is abundantly clear once you take a sip that this is high quality coffee brewed to perfection. As a micro coffee shop, I believe there were 2 benches & 1 table inside, and 2 tables outdoors. It was starting to feel a bit claustrophobic inside, so we didn't get a chance to enjoy the interior as much as we would've liked. I would be 100% down if the owners ever open a bigger location!

Michika T.

Yelp
Recently went to visit some coffee shops and stumbled across Hola cafe! The interior is super cute and filled with plants and "instagrammable" signs. It is a small cafe though, so there's only a couple tables to sit at. The employees were SO sweet and accommodating. She recommended me and my friend get the taro latte (with oat milk) and the strawberry matcha latte. These were some of my favorite drinks I've had at a cafe because each drink felt evenly balanced in flavor. I would highly recommend checking this place out if you want some unique drinks and a nice place to drink them!

Carolyn G.

Yelp
Ordered a perfect iced cafe de olla. Bespoke caffeine. This is basically happiness in a cup.
