Hola Coffee Lagasca

If you’re a coffee lover exploring Madrid, Hola Coffee is a spot you absolutely shouldn’t miss. The space itself is minimalist and chic, with just enough bustle to feel lively without being chaotic. The coffee is amazing, you can have a snack as well. The barista was very knowledgable and friendly. Must visit place.

Purely perfect coffee. 🤎 I went in because I’d read that Hola Coffee (Lagasca location) ranks around 12th among Europe’s best cafés, and the double espresso I had fully lived up to that reputation. It was so perfect I immediately bought a bag of the same beans to take home. The space is minimalistic but always full of people — it’s clearly all about the coffee here. The barista is incredibly knowledgeable, offering thoughtful expert advice. I'm so glad I chose this café, as I only had time for 1 during my short stop in Madrid center. Next time, I will choose them again.

Friendly staff and good coffee! Milk was steamed well and beans were not bitter. Can’t ask for much more! Seating was great and mug was cute as well.

One of the best coffees I’ve had during my short visit to Madrid. Got the Cortado and it was perfect! It is a small cafe and it was PACKED.

After placing high in a world competition, there’s usually quite a long wait before getting in. It would be helpful if the café provided clearer guidance on how to queue properly. We weren’t trying to cut in line, but someone reacted quite aggressively — probably because there were both people who cut intentionally and others like us who almost did so unintentionally. The area in front of the shop could really use better organization. Once you step inside, though, everything changes 180 degrees. The atmosphere is relaxed yet hip, filled with the pleasant aroma of coffee and the casual kindness of the baristas and servers. There’s a fixed core menu and seasonal specials that change from time to time. Seating inside is quite limited, so you need good timing (and maybe a little luck) to get a spot. If that feels stressful, I recommend getting takeout. They serve it in cute takeaway cups, so you’re not missing out. One of the baristas speaks English well, so ordering isn’t difficult. Overall, both the coffee and milk quality are excellent. It was here that my mother was introduced to the world of espresso, which says a lot about how good the coffee is. I also appreciated that they served sparkling water alongside it. + The café’s character design is really cute. I think they should consider selling merchandise like mugs, glasses, or coasters. The cups were so adorable and practical that I honestly wanted to buy one! ++ This was the only café I visited in Spain that had Aesop hand wash in the restroom, telling you how stylish and trendy this place is. The restroom was also well-maintained.

Great coffee and pastries. Nice ambient sound. Furniture have to improve. Small space and the sound of people talking saturares the atmosphere.

The decaf coffee I tried was one of the best I've ever had! The prices seem definitely higher than in other coffee shops in Madrid, the bun with cheese was 7 EUR f.ex.

That’s a perfect place. A really good coffee and tasty bollos. And most important a very kind staff. I forgot my bag in there and guys kindly kept it and returned it to me. I’m so happy and drinking best coffee!
