Great spot! Coffee well balanced, and well extracted, from Campbell and Syne; -not sure country of origin or process-could have been a roaster ‘s blend but tasted delicious as a short espresso and as a chai, milky sweet drink. Haven’t tried the pastries yet but they looked inviting. Understated decor with great seating inside and in the garden.

I’d say overall it’s ok. The atmosphere is very nice to catch up with a friend and hang out. It’s been quiet and cozy and would go again if I need to really delve into a topic with a friend and wanted privacy. I think there is room for improvement on the food. The sandwiches are all layered with dairy but not really any non dairy options and it would be nice to have something available to eat without cheese and mayo. The croissant was honestly not good. I don’t know who but it was dry and hard there was no way to even warm it up lot mask the underlying almost sweet/sour taste to it. I almost didn’t finish it and I am Not very picky when it comes To Taste and this is just a normal Butter croissant. The coffee was ok but felt very watery. The service was ok, nothing to write home about and for such a small bakery could be improved with general friendliness. All in all I wouldn’t run back. I just go if I needed a small quiet place to catch up with a friend. Pricing was fine.

Lukewarm coffee which I hate. I live around so took coffee to my home and warmed it in the microwave. Isn't there a standard for what milk temperature should be? Pastries very average, expensive but tastes cheap. Zero customer service. Couldn't tell if it was a man or a woman that served me, looked transgender. Overall is not good. Considering how much you charge, I'd really expect more and better. The place looks cosy and a bit away from hight st but thats about the only good thing. Will not come back.

Have seen a few foodie influencers promoting this place on Instagram so I thought I'd give it a try before it gets "viral" and the queue starts appearing. I got here just before 11am on a Sunday and very luckily as soon as I ordered my pastries and coffee people started flooding in so tip is to get here before 11am. The staff member was really attentive and friendly and recommended me differently pastries to try. I went with the chocolate swirl with cookie at the bottom, a plain croissant and an almond croissant, as well as a decaf black americano. I had a few bites of the chocolate swirl on the spot and it's okay. Not exactly flaky but it's sweet although together with the cookie at the bottom it was personally for me too dense and rich to be able to even eat half of it. I then tried the croissant the next day after reheating it in my air fryer and gotta say again, it's nothing exceptional. For some reason the croissant was extremely flat, I wondered if it's meant to be like that? It wasn't flaky either. Almond croissant was actually quite decent, it's got chocolate inside. Price wise these pastries were pricey - for 3 pastries and a coffee I paid £18 and I didn't think they were worth that much. They also became extremely oily overnight as the paper bags containing the pastries were completely soaked and I have never seen pastries getting this oily before from other places. Overall, it's an okay bakery but I won't be visiting again. If you live in the neighbourhood then it's a convenient choice but it's not a place for you to get to specifically for the pastries.

The sourdough bread is delicious. Not cheap but the best bread I had in London. Haven’t tried the pastries. A few seats inside that looked comfortable too

A super addition to the local bakery scene. Slightly quirky setup, but much better than the high street ☕️ chains. Seats outside if the weather allows, or inside when needed if you are lucky - there are 3 benches. A little basic but refreshing, staff are lovely. Lots of takeaway customers when we were there. Pastries excellent, almond croissant perfect 👌

All-round bakery, also selling quality jams. No doubt about the quality of their products: both almond&peaches tart and spinach roll were amazing. Very creative Danish pastries and swiss rolls are a plus. Prices on the upper end (roughly 4.5 to 5.5 per piece, eat-in always 20% more expensive due to VAT) because portions are fairly large.

Run, don't walk to this little hidden gem! Tucked away just off Holloway road, it has pastries, freshly baked bread and a variety of local products. Indoor seating plus a lovely outdoor garden that's so quiet and peaceful.
