Open nearly every Saturday year-round, this producers-only market is frequently recognized as best-in-class locally. Expect peak produce, pasture-raised meats, seafood, and a strong chef-and-vendor community around the Cultural Center.

Google
A wonderful gathering place for the community. There's a wide variety of vendors, there is always something to do for the kids, and the staff is super helpful. There's no better way to spend a Saturday morning.

Google
Way better vendors than Raleigh or Cary markets! Definitely try the vegan ice cream, and if you can afford it try the Ostrich meat, it literally tastes like filet mignon steak! I super appreciate that there are actual bathrooms inside the library, and sometimes there's live music performed during the market, on the library's outdoor stage.

A beautiful and perfectly sized market- not too overwhelming but with a fun variety of vendors. Everyone takes their dogs and their kids and it’s lovely to be surrounded by community.

I absolutely love this farmers market and everyone so far has just been so super kind and helpful. We even got to pet baby goats! Lots of nice stuff here, homemade dog treats, Jollof sauce, maple syrup, fish, meats, toffee, elderberry syrup and just so much more too. Check the website to see who's going to be there to get an idea as well since it rotates.

Always a wonderful market. Parking is super easy... access to the library is a fun side effect too! Get some coffee, groceries and pastries and be happy :)

Google
Holly Springs Farmers Market sponsored one of my scavenger hunts. Their contribution to the gift baskets was very generous. In addition, they were easy to work with and very responsive. I can tell by how they interacted with me, they have a very caring business. Plus we got to hold baby goats!

I really like this market! I traveled all the way from south Durham to buy some delicacies from a Polish vendor that are excellent. On my way to their tent I looked at several other vendors that are very unique. I say this as there's a farmers market right around the corner from me in South Durham that's very good too. That's the thing about these markets, no two are alike. They're all unique and worth visiting from time to time.

Google
What a unique market with a variety of vendors and activities. We went for Kid's Appreciation Day and saw baby ostriches, a fire truck, live music, a moving plant bus and more. So much fun beyond a traditional farmer's market. Highly recommend and will be back!

Yelp
There is something for everyone. Kid friendly, dog welcoming. Not too big so older people can see it all in a short time. Always good music. Come hungry and do a picnic lunch.

Yelp
Wonderful local farmers market with lots of local variety! Love the goat lady with everything from cheeses to soaps, you might even be able to hold a goat! Don't miss out on the bread from LA Farm Bakery!

Yelp
Excellent small town farmers market. Larger variety than you might expect. Several food trucks make this a community event. I found that an elderberry vendor was here (and said they were each week) along with a micro greens farmer made this very helpful and a realistic alternative to the raleigh farmers market for those of us on this side of the triangle. Honey farmer (harvester?) was also there and the honey was really good. Fruits and vegetables along with some craft people were also there. I really recommend this as an addition to the normal shopping as it seems to be a reliable place to get food for the house.

Yelp
Holly Springs Farmers Market is small but convenient! Likes: -Parking was a breeze, park across the street and walk over -We got a bundle of fresh flowers with several sunflowers for $7, they are beautiful -Good Grace's Dog Treats has a stand, our pup goes crazy for these tasty treats -Decent selection of meats, breads and vegetables Just a note, bring cash since a few vendors do not take cards.

Yelp
High quality vendors and terrific staff make the Holly Springs Farmer's Market a great Saturday morning destination for local fresh veggies, gourmet specialty foods of all kinds and even kettle corn popped right there on site! 30+ booths each week. There is also baked goods and prepared foods to take home and heat up later. Fresh pasta and sauces, pimento cheese, a coffee stand and even treats for the dogs (they are allowed here!) make this a great market for families.

Yelp
I live in nearby Apex and enjoy a quick trip to the Holly Springs Farmers Market to pick up organic and locally-grown vegetables, elderberry syrup, fresh bread, and other baked goods. The vendors are friendly and helpful and the market has kept good practices during the Covid pandemic. There's plenty of parking too.

Yelp
I love this farmer's market. There's a wide assortment of products to buy: produce, meat, pasta, side dishes, plants and flowers, coffee, cheeses, and condiments. The setup is nice and you don't feel like you are right on top of others. There's plenty of parking, too. About every month, there's a supplemental section of artists which is great if you are looking for handmade gifts or decor.

Yelp
Great assortment of vendors and goods even during covid! Really enjoyed the coffee booth

Yelp
Convenient place and friendly vendors make this a great place to be on a Saturday morning. Reasonably priced organic fruits and veggies and very flavorful baked goods.

Yelp
Allow me to preface this by stating that I will never rate a farmer's market by its looks. I will rate a farmer's market based on the quality of the goods offered. Not everyone thinks the same way. So, if atmosphere factors heavily in your enjoyment of a farmer's market, you won't be impressed by Holly Springs' modest effort. The place has grown to the point where it's moved to the big church parking lot across the street from the town center parking lot it used to be hosted in, but it's still got fewer than thirty vendors, and they all bring their own awnings/shade cloths/etc, so the effect is a little hodgepodge. However, if you're in it solely for quality, this is the real deal. The goods offered by the vendors at Holly Springs' farmer's market aren't consistently-sized or blemish-free. In a stack of tomatoes, you might find two that look alike. There's even a vendor that sells heirloom varieties -- divided carefully into piles of the same type. And she can speak at length about them. They have varieties that you can't find in the shipping markets (*gives Raleigh's farmer's market a dirty look*) because they spoil or crack or bruise easily, or are something that clueless corporate suits have deemed "unmarketable," and so can only be sold locally. Ever heard of an Ananas melon? I hadn't until I visited the HSFM this past Saturday. You will eat the crap out of everything you buy, because all of it is delicious. The market is only open on Saturday from 9am to 1pm. If you've been hesitating, quit it. Give us a shot.

Yelp
If you are looking for something the size of the state farmers market - dont come here. This is a small town farmers market with probably less than 25 vendors or so depending upon when you go. The food is fresh and delicious. There is something about knowing that it was just picked the day before...i like it wayyy better than going to the grocery store and not really knowing. They also have local meat vendors - which is something I love. Nothing like a grass-fed burger to hit the spot!!! They also have some craft vendors which i love. Got some really cute custom blocks for our living room shelves. Prices are very reasonable. If I'm looking to buy a bunch of veggies/fruits to last a whole week or two- I normally just go to the State Farmers market. But if i'm looking for things for dinner that weekend and dont really need a huge haul - then I come here. Its quick, close, and super laid back.

Yelp
If you're used to the big farmer's market in Raleigh, this is not the same, but that doesn't mean it is lacking in selection or conversation. I have been going to the HS Farmer's market since 2008 and it has grown tremendously since then for a small market. It was also voted best Small market in NC. From May through October I can do 80% of my shopping here for the week. Some of the items you will find are seasonal produce, breads, sweets, meats, eggs and fish. Recently added are some cheeses, coffee and crafty items. The more you visit the more you will get to know the farmers and their practices. Many of them do limit pesticides, herbicides, etc or don't use them at all. There are some organic vendors as well. Some of my favorite vendors are Crownview Farms which has excellent produce. The quality is amazing year after year as is the taste. Valley Love is organic and has chicken, eggs and pork. Wilkerson's Beef has delicious grain finished cuts of beef. In addition to all the wonderful items and vendors there are also various activities throughout the season such as Taste of Holly Springs where various restaurants in the area offer samples of their foods, Chili cook offs, Shred-a-thons, and Market Chef series where a chef will prepare dishes using items at the farmer's market that day. Sometimes good things come in small packages and the Holly Springs Farmer's market is one of them!

Yelp
This is a really sweet (wee) farmers market. But you really don't need much more than what you can find here. The vendors are relaxed, passionate, and absolutely hilarious. Take your time--there's not much reason to rush, even dawdling you could shop this venue front to back in under 17 minutes. And the conversation is a great reason to linger. But obviously, you'd be coming here for the high-quality, fresh, and local product. Beautiful fruits and vegetables, seafood, beef (whoa--a brisket with the tip on? What a treat!) pork chicken and eggs, as well as various crafty goods and garden plants. It's a good idea to arrive early which may be onerous for some on a Sunday morning, but if you just can't crawl out of bed, many of the vendors also sell directly to the public during the week. All in all, this is a gem of a market. *bring cash*

Yelp
Love the farmer's market. Really enjoy going. Baked by Billie always has the best bread and sweets. I was a little disappointed today by the customer service at Barnes Produce, the tomatoes were beautiful, I bought several; I sure hope they are sweeter than the woman that completed our purchase for us.

Yelp
Friendly Neighboorhood Farmers. Prices not necessarily better than other places, but you will support local farms and a true Farm to Table experience. Limited food stuff, but worth 20-minutes of your day to bring home some fresh grub. Some vendors take CA$H only.

Yelp
Went to the State Farmers Mkt today. I much prefer the more leisurely pace and wide open atmosphere of the Holly Springs market. I will give up the selection in favor of a better experience and the ability to chat with the vendors.

Ron T.

Yelp
I live in Holly Springs and this is close, but: only open limited hours one day a week, very few actual vegetable stands with limited selection of vegetables, and way too many stands (the majority of the stands there) selling chotskies. This place could do with some food trucks.

Michael M.

Yelp
Small but quality vendors. I'm here almost every Saturday morning stocking up on food for the week.

Yelp
