The Best Thai Restaurants in Los Angeles, According to Eater Editors | Eater LA

"Hollywood Thai is for the club rats and party goers. This institution on Hollywood Boulevard is a reprieve for late nights; it’s open until 2 am during the week and 4 am on the weekends. My favorite thing to get here is plain rice porridge with accoutrements like Chinese sausage salad, preserved turnip omelet, and stir-fried morning glory with chiles. The menu feels like eating breakfast in a Thai home, while the live band and late-night diners suggest otherwise." - Kat Thompson

This Thai Town YouTube Series Is a Must-Watch for LA Food Lovers - Eater LA

"Hollywood Thai Cuisine offers a resilient Thai restaurant experience with a large parking lot setup for outdoor dining. The pad thai, best with a fried egg on top, is touted as authentic. Specialties include the papaya salad with blue crab, dried morning glory with crispy pork, and porridge. Grilled pork and crying tiger are seared on a charcoal grill for a smoky char. The hell chicken is described as a spicy blast of peppercorns and dried red chiles fried in a wok." - Bill Esparza

Best Thai food in LA!!! Amazing service. Super fast delivery. Clean. Nice. Good music atmosphere. Thank you very much! I had the best experience!

Never Again!!! This was my first time at Hollywood Thai, and unfortunately, it was a very unpleasant experience. I witnessed how the server, who claimed to be the manager, was extremely rude and aggressive with my friend over a simple soup and beer order. He even put his hands into my food while arguing – which was completely unacceptable and unhygienic. On top of that, I ordered shrimp tempura to-go for my mom ($18), and when I got home, I was shocked to find only 3 shrimp. The rest was just corn, onion, and random vegetables to fill the box. $18 for 3 shrimp and terrible service? Absolutely not worth it. I won’t be coming back and definitely don’t recommend this place to anyone.

I had an amazing experience at Hollywood Thai. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming. The music really set the tone, it was definitely a vibe that kept the mood fun and upbeat throughout the evening. The food was absolutely delicious. On top of that, the service was impressively quick and efficient. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. I’ll definitely be back!

Google
I had a terrible experience at this establishment. The food was highly questionable, lacking flavor, and not enjoyable at all. Everything was either overly sweet or completely bland. On top of that, when I asked the waiter about prices (since none were listed), they avoided answering and referred me to a QR code meant for online orders those prices didn’t even match what we were charged. The food was ridiculously overpriced, and we ended up paying nearly $200 for four subpar dishes. To make matters worse, the location wasn’t even in a nice or touristy area to justify the cost. This place is a complete rip off, and I strongly advise others to stay away.

Google
Rude and Unprofessional Service I used to like this place and even recommended it to friends, but my recent visit was terrible. The server (who claimed to be the manager) pressured us to order draft Singha instead of bottled, insisted it tasted the same, and got annoyed when we asked to try it first. We didn’t like it and asked for the bottled version we originally ordered. We ordered Tom Kha with shrimp and got a bowl of coconut milk with 5 shrimp – no other usual ingredients. When we questioned it, the server became aggressive, involved other guests, and even put his hands in our food. They took the soup away to “fix” it but never brought it back. We said we wouldn’t pay for it, but the bill was only reduced by $6. When I asked if he understood English, he started yelling at me, saying I didn’t understand English. Totally unprofessional, disrespectful, and aggressive behavior. I won’t be coming back and don’t recommend this place to anyone.

I think I might’ve discovered one of the best Thai restaurants in Hollywood. Visiting Hollywood, something I have started doing fairly regularly. I asked a friend of mine, who lives here, if there was a good Thai restaurant he would suggest, one night at eight. This is the one he told me to check out I wish I was hungrier. The papaya salad was so good. It. Had a little heat, so if you’re sensitive to spies, maybe I asked them if there’s a less spicy version. But, it’s worth that little bit of heat. And, it feels like a good ballot of heat to be. I also had the Penang curry, with duck. The guy serving me suggested the duck. It was a good suggestion the duck was it perfectly cooked and seasoned. And, the flavor of the panang was so delicious. I also had the Thai tea, standard for me, it was also very good. Just come try it.

Google
The food here is excellent. According to a friend of mine, this place has arguably the best Pad Thai. I don't want to piss off anyone but it may be true. The staff is attentive and friendly and the atmosphere is nice and relaxing. 💯👌🏾

This Thai restaurant is a great option to eat at when nowhere else is open. They stay open after midnight and also have a bar inside as well! The food tasted authentic and the portions were pretty good. I didn’t like how all the prices on the menu were scratched out. When you get the tab at the end of your meal you can’t see the prices of the individual items either. Other than that no complaints, our party had a great time here. The service was really good. The older lady working the bar and taking our order was super friendly. The other staff were really helpful as well. I would totally recommend this restaurant if you have the late night munchies for thai food. Also, please remove the sliced white bread from the chicken satay dish. Its really not necessary.

Yelp
Wish I lived closer because this could have been my new favorite Thai spot... So fun & so good! I was invited to a birthday party in their back room. The birthday girl had fifty guests & we all fit comfortably. It was private & perfect for a birthday. The food was delivered quickly and was just so so good. What stood out to me most was that the servers and woman (who seemed like the owner or manager) were all REALLY KIND. Even the busboys went out of their way to help & followed through on every request. Their sodas and thai iced teas are HUGE - think beer stein huge lol. When every other restaurant in LA is giving less for more money it was nice to see. Full bar & generous pours Oh and Did I mention they offer Karaoke? Karaoke was really fun - They had every song we requested The other diners were fun to party with too no hood or bad vibes here!

Yelp
Ok I can't let this slide! I'm noticing a trend when we come here and this is the second time we've come after attending the Grand Star Jazz Club (just reviewed). I don't know if it's because we are arriving at like 3am but the service hasn't been that great. When you arrive, they get you a table quick but once you are seated, it takes a while to get service. Now I'm about two drinks in (lightweight) from the club but when I come in and I have looked at the menu, and 5 mins after that, I'm nearly slumped over my menu and the bus boys are barely bringing water. You would think the bus boy would have alerted the waiter or something, but I guess that's normal around there at that time. I briefly looked around and the place wasn't THAT busy but again I could be wrong. Anyway, after what felt like 10-15 mins, we finally saw our waitress and she takes our order. I ordered the kung pao shrimp with rice and an egg on top (I ordered the seafood yellow curry last time). My boys ordered the bbq pork over rice and the pineapple fried rice with Chinese sausage and three Thai ice teas (it's a must at every Thai restaurant). We also found it weird that there are no prices on the menu. The food takes a while to come out and I'm dozing off. I finally see a plate coming praying it's ours and they give it to my friend. I'm thinking ours is coming next as he's chowing down! Nope! We wait about another 5 mins starting at his food like we're in prison ready to jump him and then finally ours comes out. Now the food was hella good! Again, maybe I was a little faded but mine was amazing! The succulent sauces and fresh plump shrimps and salted peanuts had your boy on another planet! (Again I could have been faded imagining these things). Once we received our food, our waiter was nowhere to be found the whole time. Someone left the door open and this cold draft came in. We tried to get someone's attention and couldn't find anyone so me of all people in there, got up and walked over there to close the door. Lastly, when it came time to pay, we had to get someone's attention to find our waiter to pay. Anyway, I see other recommendations for Thai in the area but they close earlier than when we get out of the club, and 24 hour Thai (Sanamluang Cafe) is in East Hollywood. The food here is still good but the service can use some work OOOC 3.5 out of 5 Afros

Yelp
It's been a while since I was last here and just like prior, it did not disappoint. First off, they're open late which is a plus for all the late night craving. Service is always amazing and the staff, they're all so friendly. Parking is tricky as there's little parking lot that does have a parking attendant/valet. Street parking is basically a one off. You'll be lucky to find one infront. The restaurant is pretty big as there's two side. Majority tend to be on the main where the entrance and bar area is. Does look like it's a full bar. They also have a stage with karaoke and live band depending on the day. Menu does offer all your traditional Thai favorites. We went with a bunch of dishes to enjoy and it's the only way. The pad see ew with beef is always a good choice. The clams was good, we didn't really have much as we ended up eating pretty much everything else. Of course the angels wings, bbq pork with the great dipping sauce. As well as the morning glory with the fried pork, duck salad which was amazing and finished off with sticky rice and mango. The food is always fresh and flavorful. Each dish was amazing and the quality is great. You'll always have a good meal here and it helps that they are open late. Weekend, you'll have the nightlife crowd rolling in for a late meal.

Yelp
The place is super spacious. Lunch was not busy at all. Everything we ordered was so rich and umami. The clams and the tender morning glory stood out to me. Pretty solid meal, with a little extra to spare for leftovers.

Yelp
Thai food here is good! Portions are huge but to me it fits the price. I got pad Thai with shrimp. It was super flavorful and a good portion and came out to $22 with tax. I would recommend the pad Thai and this restaurant. Staff is friendly and food comes out fresh and hot. Nice seating inside.

Yelp
Came by after the bar with my girlfriends and it did not disappoint! Parking is very chaotic as their parking lot is jam packed and can probably fit 5 cars. Street parking is a better option but is also tough as it is shared amongst the neighborhood/apartments nearby. There is a plaza that offers valet parking across the street/plaza though. We all ordered and shared family style and still had plenty leftover. The food was delicious and service was very attentive and quick. There was a birthday party across the restaurant from us but the server was very nice and offered to move us if they were too loud for us which was very sweet! The Tom yum soup was so warm and tasted just like the Mama noodle ramen we all know and love! It was very aromatic and had soo much veggies and protein. The other dishes like Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao was plentiful and we had so much leftovers! The century egg with basil was very unique and paired so well with rice.

Yelp
This is a solid place for Thai food. My husband and I tried the Fresh Shrimp with Spicy Lime Sauce, Yum Naem Sod, Pad Thai Sukhothai, and Chae Po Rice. Everything tasted delicious, and the portions were huge. The fresh shrimp and pad thai dishes were unique. We were originally going to order the regular pad thai, but the waitress suggested getting the special one with fried pork, and it turned out to be my favorite dish! I would go back just for this dish. I dined here on a Saturday in the mid/late afternoon, so the restaurant wasn't busy and we were easily able to park in the lot. The restaurant itself is big, but the parking lot is small though, so parking will be tough at night.

Yelp
Came in after the bars closed in Pasadena with a late night eater like myself. Had a tasty spread of roasted duck with noodles, curry with tofu, chicken sate, white rice, pickled cucumbers....was a very satisfying late night food adventure. I've been coming here for years and love the expanded interior dining area. I need to come here earlier than 2am to try out the lovely bar.

Hesperian C.

Yelp
Tried this place out based on a friends recommendation. Arrived late night and there was plenty of street parking available. Very big restaurant with lots of seating for large parties. Food was very good and hit the spot. Ordered what I usually order at Thai restaurants which is pad Thai, pad see ew, Thai iced tea, and the coconut chicken soup. Would definitely return and try some of their other items.

Yelp
If you're craving late night food I would definitely recommend you to Hollywood Thai they have a big menu to choose from. My friend and I ordered pad see ew with shrimp it had good wok'e flavor, we also ordered the mild spiced papaya salad, it was refreshing, spicy and had great umami flavor, the third dish was grilled pork, and for dessert we had mango sticky rice. All dishes were flavorful and the service was great when my glass of water was half full they would come back and refill the glass. The decor is nice, also there are plenty of seating the only thing is parking is small, they have valet, but if you want to not pay for valet you can park on the street but it is Hollywood so parking is a bit hard to find.
google avatar

Yelp
Food: always on point from the soup, to fried rice to their noodles. No complaints here. service: friendly but they can probably be more attentive to their guest. Ambiance: it's a big place but parking is really hard you have to find parking nearby and it gets busy after club hours.

Yelp
Vegan review: Overall, good service and food. On my first visit, a friend and I arrived on a Saturday around 2:30 AM. We ordered the egg rolls ans tempura veggies/shrimp as appetizers. The dressing/dip that comes with the eggrolls and tempura is semi-sweet and so good! I literally dipped every bite. I ordered the yellow curry and asked for no spice. The waitress told me to pick on a scale from 1-10 and I picked 1. Unfortunately when my dish arrived it was far too spicy for me, at an uncomfortable level. I apologetically spoke to the waitress and she brought out a new dish for me, which was perfect. I really appreciate them fixing this. My friend ordered the green curry and said jt was the perfect spice and flavor. On my second visit, I came in on a Sunday at around 10:30 PM. We sat in the second dining room, by ourselves which was actually quite nice and felt private. We had the same waitress, who seemed like the owner or manager. I ordered the cashew nut dish with tofu and had no issues with spiciness. Unfortunately we were not able to order a drink because the server said the bartender was not in. We ordered fresh coconut juice instead and it was delicious. This is definitely my top option for a super late night meal now! The quality of the food does not go down the later they're open. When everything else is closed Hollywood Thai is open. Be sure to bring CASH because there is a 2.75% charge for card. The parking was $8 charge in the lot on Sunday night, but we just parked down the street instead.

Yelp
The food is excellent, the service is good and the ambiance is chill. Put down a chicken pad Thai, chicken coconut soup, and shrimp fried rice. They were delicious!

Yelp
This restaurant was recommended to us by our Thai friends and so we had to give it a try the day we went was not super busy at all. It was on a Friday so as soon as we sat down, we already knew what we wanted. We had pad thai thai style Pad See Ew And Beef Jerky Everything we chose was so good flavorful just like we were told and with some really good portions we actually ended up taking some home for the next day for lunch. The service was really friendly. The restrooms were clean. There's some parking in the actual location, but there's also street parking around , so if you're looking for a Thai food restaurant this is definitely the one to try. Enjoy!
google avatar

Tomster L.

Yelp
One of the worst Thai food places ever. I only went because my two favorite spots closed. If you have to eat late at night and craving Thai food, just wait for the next day and go have a hamburger or something. Although service is great! The staff is so nice. It's unfortunate the food is so bad. They expanded, possibly because the entertainment aspect and late night service benefits them.
google avatar

Jodie F.

Yelp
One of the few restaurants that remain open past midnight to satisfy our late night hunger lol. Got the mild green curry with duck & it was very yummy! Loved the amount of meat they gave. I hate when a restaurant skimps on meat. The curry was flavorful with a small hint of spice. Perfect for the cold weather. FYI, they charge a credit card fee. Free parking in a small lot.

Yelp
I really liked the Pad Thai Shrimp. The Panang Beef was a bit too sweet and soupy for my taste. I prefer a thicker sauce for the Panang Beef. The service could definitely be better. It took a couple of servers to finally get us a knife and some napkins, and the first server even forgot about us. Additionally, they are open late at night, but they have limited parking space.
google avatar

Tigran N.

Yelp
Had a few drinks last night and ended up getting a late night munchies but couldn't find a good spot. My buddy recommended this spot. They have a full bar until 2 AM but stay open and serve food until 4 AM The restaurant is pretty big and has very comfortable seating arrangements. It's good for small or big groups. The service is great and the staff works very fast. I ended up getting a long island, nice and strong. We ordered a few plates and a soup after. Honestly all the plates are sharable portions and everything is delicious. The mvp of the night was their crying tiger (grilled pork.) The seasoning on it along with the sauce was really unique. I could probably finish a fee plates of those by myself Iv been to a decent amount of thai spots and it put this place top 3 for sure. Good food, great hours and a nice parking lot upfront

Yelp
Late night Thai food how can you go wrong? The pad ke mow was very yummy and the prices were good too. Service was good lots of water refills and they've got loads of indoor and outdoor seating available. We were there one of the nights where they had a live dj/singer which was pretty cool too! Great visit would absolutely try it again!
google avatar

Jocelyn H.

Yelp
Omg omg I'm so so happy to have found this spot that is open late night and has absolutely great service and great tasting food. It's not even like the food is only good for being open late, I would definitely choose to eat here anytime of day. Our servers were so sweeet and patient, the only down side is that there is no mango sticky rice but that's not enough to knock down their rating. This place is also a bar and makes for a lively night with great music too! The food was so good, I do wish the Tom yum had more veggies but it was still very flavorful. The pad Thai was my personal favorite with the pad see ew coming in close second. I wouldn't get the wontons again because they didnt have enough filling for my liking. The order of white rice was huge! I was very impressed, I don't think I've ever ordered anywhere with a portion that size. Beautiful surprise

Nena D.

Yelp
Expensive but worth it! Parking was difficult, but again, food was worth the hassle. Service was was fast and excellent. Food was incredibly fresh and flavorful. Ambiance - place was almost empty when we arrived (5:30pm) but had filled up by the time we left (7:30pm). We ordered fried tofu - wonderful! Fried morning glory - fantastic! And Larb which has cilantro in it so I didn't like it but my Korean girlfriend ate it right up! I ordered Pad See Ew which was good. Altogether a great experience. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Today was a disaster I have been here a lot times and I used to love their food. Chicken hell used to be my favorite dish since 7.5 years and only the reason I visit the Resturant. But today I don't know what they served me plus the lady who served me was kinda rude when I was ordering. Not going back anytime soon. posting a picture of Chicken hell before and and today's.
google avatar

Liz N.

Yelp
The best thing about this place is that they're open SO late. The worst thing is that parking lot. It's actually so tiny and sketchy. However, the interior is clean and quite big. Since we came so late, the service was pretty slow. I really liked the sauce that the tofu came with! Not a HUGE fan of the tofu because it was slightly too chewy. Overall, it's good for a late night option but that parking lot was SO scary.
google avatar

Mario H.

Yelp
My all-time favorite I love the pad, Thai Depatie, you beef, and the coconut shrimp soup service is always friendly parking is kind of difficult sometimes but whatever who your jump through is definitely worth visiting and enjoying this tire experience the place makes me feel like I'm on vacation great ambience
google avatar

Aminta S.

Yelp
INCREDIBLE. Best Thai food I've ever had, best costumer service I've ever had, all employees and owners are SO SWEET and so down to answer any questions. Immaculate vibes. You can ask to sit in the left section if you want softer/lower light and a little more quiet. LA staple.
google avatar

Stacey M.

Yelp
Best Thai spot in LA!!! We drive an hour away just to eat Thai here The quality of the food is great the service is amazing we're literally regulars so they see us so often The warm welcome we get when they see us They're busy but they're so attentive Food and service is 100%
google avatar

Smaly K.

Yelp
My cousins and I were in the area and were really wanting the Fresh Crab here. I've never had raw crab before and never cared to eat it, but they had me try it here, and it totally changed my mind on raw crab. Now I'm into raw crab because of this place. So, the Fresh Crab with Spicy Lime Sauce was a hit at our table. So was the Raw Shrimp with Spicy Lime Sauce. The other items we ordered was also good.

Yelp
Delicious Dining Experience at Hollywood Thai. It was an unforgettable dining experience. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the perfect tone--elegant but relaxed, with cozy lighting and a welcoming atmosphere. As for the food, everything was absolutely delicious. We ordered Padthai Sukhothai, bbq pork, and Tom yum. One of the best restaurant, I highly recommend. I can't wait to return!
google avatar

Prada P.

Yelp
Great reasonable Thai food. I don't like that they now have Valet and it cost $8 to park.
google avatar

Hengky T.

Yelp
Group of 5 yesterday, but server didn't tell me 18% gratuity is already charged for that party size. That means the server is scamming me without telling me they will charge that much for my party before eating.
google avatar

Kristen V.

Yelp
Amazing service and great tasting food! Will definitely be back! Really appreciate the ambience and vibes!
google avatar

Angellie G.

Yelp
Food was good but wayy too overpriced. Not only that the prices aren't listed clearly on the menu, the cost they charge is more than what is listed. They need to update their menu. Poor customer service due to zero communication and one guy was rude when i said calmly that it wasn't fair to charge me extra when it wasn't listed on the menu. Unfortunately I'm not coming back here again. No wonder this place is always empty. None of the servers look happy working there either. Ugh.
google avatar

Thanyada J.

Yelp
I always have a good experience every time I come here. The service is great and the food is Authentic Thai.

Tao H.

Yelp
This place has gone downhill. . What once could be considered decent food late at night has been lost. Servers were all over the place and switching off back and forth, not refilling water or bringing utensils. And what's probably the most uncomfortable things is the lady approached us to tip more and explain to her why we believed the service was bad. Nobody owes a response to someone approaching you hostile and with a forceful tone to tip more than was given. Safe to say I'll never be back or advise anyone to go at all. Really strange. . Plus the food has gotten much more bland compared to before.

Yelp
HOLLYWOOD THAI is conveniently located at an intersection and has its own free, albeit small, parking lot. There are metered spots on Hollywood Blvd. Speaking of Hollywood Blvd, this is in the middle of Thai Town, and somehow, HOLLYWOOD THAI managed to make itself memorable with their great tasting food. FRIED WHOLE TROUT came with their own apple salsa and it is a winner. They call it apple sauce in the menu, but it's apple salsa, not sauce. PAPAYA SALAD was super awesome. Ordered medium spicy and it has super hot and super good. But I'm lame so I admit maybe I should order it with lower spice level next time. TOM YUM WITH SHRIMP is warm to the tummy. Servers are great! There is a karaoke stage. OPEN TIL 4AM! Large open indoor dining. Great for a large birthday party.

Mother G.

Yelp
If I could give zero stars I would. The menu stated a dish was $8.95 when I went to pick it up they charged me 19.99 for the dish. They said it's a different menu now. I've heard good reviews about the food but I know we're in hard times. To overcharge someone like that isn't cool. I showed them the menu prices and they said we updated the menu but it's not out yet. How are they getting away with this. Out of the kindness of my heart I paid for it because I didn't want them to waste food but how are they taking orders off of and old menu and ringing it up as higher prices before you pick up the food. What a scam. I pray they fix that because it's not honest and it's definitely going to affect their business. You can't move dishonestly and get over on people. Definitely won't be coming back to this place because it just feels really scammish and un genuine to me. How many other people are you doing this too cause most people look over the check. Most people just pay and go. They up charged everything from what the original menu stated. Not ok. Check the menu and receipt when you pick up. And the food wasn't all that. 9$ to add beef and I got 5 thin slices. This place is a joke

Ngis T.

Yelp
Incredibly delicious food, best staff and service - were so kind and lovely and fun. Overall great vibes and a wonderful experience. Will definitely be returning.

Yelp
Called in. 1st question: Are you Thai? Well, why doe it matter? Ordered Larb. Putrid meat stunk like hell(been a few times to Thailand - know very well proper Larb). It seems a case of implied discrimination. If you're a Caucasian avoid the place at all costs. Very unprofessional, and possibly illegal to serve rotten meat. Health department must look into it.

Yelp
I ordered for pickup at 10:04 p.m., and the app said to pick up between 10:40 and 11:05 p.m. I arrived and checked in at 10:30, and I was told to wait another 15-20 minutes. I agreed and went to my car to wait. At 10:49 p.m., the Yelp app indicated that my order was "Ready for Pickup." I walked in and waited until someone noticed me. At 11:05 p.m., the staff finally approached and said my order wasn't done yet. When I pointed out that the app showed it was ready, he said they were still packing it. Then he came back and mentioned they were short-staffed and needed another 5-10 minutes. I understand that things happen, but I don't appreciate that the app marked my order as done when it wasn't. I contacted support, and they said the restaurant informed them they needed another 20 minutes. If I had stayed at the restaurant, I would have received the food much sooner. The restaurant needs to improve their time estimates and ensure that staff doesn't mark orders as complete just to hit a milestone on Grubhub. I finally received my food at 11:17 p.m.

Yelp
My favorite go to Thai restaurant in LA. Such well-mannered servers ! Chicken Heaven really was heavenly. Probably the crispiest and crunchiest chicken I have ever tasted. It was so good, we had to get two more orders. Crying tiger, beef pad see ew, seafood stir fried noodles, and the deep fried tofu - my favs ! Tom Yum soup was fire (literally)!

Yelp
How many places are open till 4 anymore?? How many places banging out good food past 12 even?! Nothing better than Hollywood Thai after a night of drinking. I've had it sober and wasted and yet it's still 5 stars. The owner is so sweet and kind to every guest. Come get the Angel Wings, Shrimp Tempura and Pad Kee Mao. You will NOT be disappointed!

Yelp
My favorite crispy noodles with Chinese broccoli they should just call it the GAVIN dish cause that's what I get all the time at two or 1 AM. Love it but it's technically called something else. My tongue just doesn't roll that way lol

Yelp
Ended up here around 10pm after the LA Haunted Hayride with friends. We ordered far too much food, and had no regrets. It was all PHENOMENAL, not to mention extremely impressively presented (they lit a flame in the soup?). I had to keep taking pictures of our full spread as they brought individual things out. The cocktails menu was also very impressive, and my Raspberry Iced Tea was delicious. The service was phenomenal-- all the staff we interacted with were incredibly kind and friendly, and overall just wonderful. Similarly, the restaurant itself is beautiful, with a layout that lends itself well to a feeling of privacy even as they started to fill up around us. This was one of the best meals I've had in a while, and I'm so glad we were all able to go. What a magnificent find! I hope you get to find it and enjoy it soon.

Yelp
My family and I came here for a late lunch on Thanksgiving Day 2023! We're thankful that they were open on this holiday. The food was great! So flavorful and many unique Thai dishes you wouldn't find anywhere else. The restaurant is large and they have karaoke at night. Parking is limited though so you'll have to check for street parking.

Yelp
Haven't been here in many years because my go-to for Thai is Ruen Par when I'm in the area, but five friends and I decided to come here for a late lunch because they have a full bar. It was 100 degrees out, yet the AC was almost nonexistent when we entered around 3pm. There were a couple other parties dining in the spacious restaurant, so it definitely wasn't busy. It took the server a while to take our drink orders and even longer to bring them out. Instead of taking our food orders when he brought our drinks, our server walked away for a bit and we had to call him over to place our orders. While waiting for our food, the electricity went out on the entire block! The already warm restaurant began getting hotter. I'm guessing the kitchen could keep functioning with gas stoves. Some of our food started coming out, but it took a good 30 minutes or longer for everyone's dishes to get served. I got the Fresh Crab with Spicy Lime Sauce Salad ($18.95), which was full of fish sauce, various chilies and garlic. I've never had raw crab like this, and was a little afraid of getting food poisoning from it, but was fortunately okay! My friends ordered pad Thai, pad see ew, panang curry, and a couple appetizers and they all said they've had better elsewhere. The electricity was still out when we were ready to close out our tab and we were thankful to pay via Zelle. By then, we were sliding around in our seats with sweat and were ready to get out of this sauna! The 3 stars is for the overall taste and quality of the food and service. The power outage was out of their control, so not factoring that in my review. If anything, it made for some laughs and a memorable experience! The sweltering heat was seriously reminiscent of eating on the streets in Bangkok! Lol! Needless to say, I won't be coming back again anytime soon!

Yelp
Go here because they have vegan Thai food here and it's delicious. I love Thai food. Even more then that, I love going somewhere that is willing to make almost anything on their menu vegan. After attempting to go to two other Thai spots in the area and finding them closed, a friend who had been here and loved it suggested we stop and I'm glad we did. They are open until 2am or 4am depending on the day, so this is a great place for that late night hunger. We shared the pad kee mao, panang curry, and fried tofu. My friend also got a non vegan dish, but said the vegan dishes were as good as the non-vegan versions, so you know they do a good job with all of it. They have a pretty big patio which is great for those who want some fresh air. We initially had the patio almost to ourselves, but as the night went on, more customers chose to sit outside. The inside is a step up from a hole in the wall and they have a stage where I've heard they used to have karaoke. We got there before 11pm and observed an interesting shift in the clientele, from mostly Thai people when we arrived, to a different crowd of people getting off work or ending their evening out. I mention this because it's cool to see a restaurant that is enjoyed for being authentic by all kinds of people. Parking is not great. There's a tiny lot that fills up and stays that way. Street parking may or may not be a challenge. Service was okay, hence the 4 instead of 5 stars. It was very slow at every step, ordering, getting our food, getting the check, etc. One of the dishes my friend ordered was either forgotten or given to another table, as the people who had come in a long time after us were served their food before we had received all of ours and one of the things they ordered was what we were missing. It was almost impossible to get our water refilled and then only one of us got water so we shared! However, the employees were nice and great at explaining things in detail without being prompted when I asked about ordering vegan items. I will certainly be back and this time, I'm not going to forget my leftovers. Two appetizers, two entrees, and a small side of rice ended up being about $80, so I'm still sad I left that delicious food sitting there! Come here for delicious, authentic Thai food. Consider yourself lucky if other things go your way (service, parking), but it's all about the great flavors and fresh dishes!
