Wow. Been wanting to go here for years and finally booked it for our anniversary brunch. Generous portions for the price! Could sit and finish in one setting but.. We ended up packing up our leftovers haha. Food was delicious ☺️ Drinks were great, as well. I loved my punch. perfect winter drink. super refreshing. The grapefruit twist was a little on the sweeter side but was good. Service was great! happy with how the staff checked in and were friendly. They recommended great options and were knowledgeable. Would absolutely come back to try the dinner menu!

We went to Holmanstable with a party of four on January 16, 2026. I was a super cold windy day. We were able to park relatively close to the building with a short walk in. They have a small horseshoe that you can drive into and drop your passengers off if you would like super convenient. Tons of free parking. We have been to this restaurant several times before and it’s never a disappointment. Upon entering, the restaurant is clean and neat and quiet. We are greeted by guest services upon arrival and seated promptly. You can see the airstrip from where you’re sitting in most places inside the restaurant and it’s a pretty nice experience. The food was absolutely fantastic. I ordered the walleye which is non-breaded and it’s absolutely delicious. My description does not do it justice. It’s not deep-fried so you’re not getting all the unhealthy oils. The service is top-notch they don’t rush you and they keep a close eye on your beverage for refills. If you haven’t been to Holmanstable, I highly recommend. It’s a great experience.

Such a fun and cute place to go for my birthday! The food was so good. I got the French toast sandwich and I would 100% get that again. So so good. Honestly they have such a great menu with a lot of options it was hard for us to choose what we wanted. Mimosa board was a must have. They have the glitter you can add to make it even more fun. There wasn’t much plane action as I had thought there would be which is fine because I didn’t go there for that. But the location is definitely cool. They even gave me a gift to come back for a dessert! Will definitely be back.

So we were a group of 6 and they were able to accommodate us but we should have made a reservation. The music is not too loud was easy to talk. There was good signage, easy parking. Easy to navigate. Tall and short seats. Fun to watch planes from the viewing area. The service was great. Everyone was really sweet and accommodating, and knowledgeable. Great beverage selections. The FOOD omg so good. The biscuits were so light and fluffy and buttery, the banana bread moist and so good. Everything was cooked exactly right. Homemade biscuits yum.

Holman’s Table was a fun place to get brunch with the girls. It has a really cute and cozy vibe. We shared the mimosa board which was definitely perfect for sharing between 4 of us. They have a pastry chef, so we tried the banana bread which was moist and delicious. I ordered the French toast sandwich. It was really tasty, but difficult to eat because it was a bit soggy. We shared the apple crisp for dessert, which was probably the best thing we had here! Our server was nice, but he messed up a couple of our orders. Luckily, they corrected the mistakes very quickly! It was a good experience, but a little bit on the expensive side.

This is a gem in an out-of-the-way place, the Saint Paul airport. The food is excellent, prepared by a team that includes a chef. They have brunch, lunch, and dinner menus, with a nice variety of options. I've been here a few times, and everyone I was with liked what they ordered. Parking is on the north side of the building; the south side opens onto the airport tarmac. Private planes often land here, taxi over to the restaurant, and park near a door that opens near the restaurant. The restaurant is inside the airport administration building, which has an interesting history. It was designed by the first Black architect for the City of St. Paul, Clarence Wigington, and built by under the Works Progress Administration (WPA) in 1939. During WWII, B-24 bombers were brought here for modification.

This is a Fantastic place to stop, hang out and have a great meal. Practically on the tarmac of the St. Paul municipal airport. Fly in and park your plane right in front of the restaurant. Or drive up with plenty of parking. Food is excellent! Fun non-alcoholic drinks. If you like watching planes there is all sizes coming in and out. We had brunch and I can't wait to go there for Dinner.

When we ordered the ricotta appetizer, we were really surprised that it was one thin slice of sourdough (seriously looked like the Walmart brand), cut in half. One small slice. Paired with half a cup of spread? Very confusing proportions - if you’re going to cheap out and do one piece of bread, at least be bold and have 2 oz of spread to match it. The menu was limited but you’ll love it if you like alcoholic drinks with dairy and/or gumbo style soups. The service and atmosphere were really great, however. I really enjoyed our experience here, despite the food falling short. The helicopter ride was incredible, safe, breathtaking.

This was my second visit to Holman's and it, again, did not disappoint! From the very cool deco style building it is housed in to the restaurant itself it is a wonderful experience. The restaurant is a warm, cozy, romantic ambiance perfect for a wonderful dinner with a special someone, friends or family, or to celebrate an occasion. This visit was to celebrate some work news for me and I wanted to go out and do something special. First of all the service is impeccable! The servers and support team are warm, professional, and have perfect timing in checking back etc. Finding this level of service and timing is surprisingly rare so that just adds even more to the experience. The food.... consistently exceptional! From our cocktails, to the Mushroom toast (WOW.. delicious flavor explosion) and Charcuterie plate (great selection of meats and cheeses, warm baguette, and accompaniments) the food was excellent!! We transitioned over to the Wedge salad which had beautiful, crunchy romaine lettuce, tasty bacon and a fresh delicious blue cheese dressing with tomato and chives. It was a perfect transition from appetizers to entrees. Our entree was the Buccatini with an arrabiatta sauce which was fresh tasting and had the perfect level of spice. The pasta was perfectly prepared as well so it all came together beautifully especially with the Lemon-Basil ricotta addition it was fantastic! Highly recommend these dishes and this restaurant!

I recently visited Holman's Table for a birthday dinner, and after a few years since my last visit, I was excited to return! Since I wasn't too hungry, I opted for a couple of smaller dishes instead of a full entrée. I ordered the half farro salad and the duck pot pie. Farro Salad - Absolutely amazing! The flavors were so well-balanced and delicious. I only wished for a little more farro, but overall, it was fantastic and something I would eagerly order again. Duck Pot Pie - While flavorful and tasty, it fell a little short of my expectations. I was looking forward to the classic flaky crust experience, but instead, the dish was topped with what felt more like croutons. That was a bit disappointing, so I likely wouldn't order it again. Despite that, I had a great time and truly look forward to my next visit--hopefully, I won't wait another two years!

Experienced this restaurant for the first time recently. The ambience is lovely and the staff are all excellent. My friend wanted an NA beer and they were out so the bartender made her a special NA cocktail. He put in the extra effort and it was appreciated. Hubby and I shared the mushroom toast appetizer, which was delightful. Our friends had the crab cake app and said it was delicious. Our entrées included lobster risotto, which was good but a little too salty. The rib eye pork chop, which was a bit dry. The orecchiette with sausage and the tenderloin. All the meals were good, but not amazing unfortunately. And it would've been nice to have a bread basket. The cheesecake and French silk cake desserts were excellent. I would recommend this restaurant and plan on going back to try another entrée. Saying it again... The service was excellent all the way around.

Well we did come back to eat. Brunch was tasty. Service outstanding. Ambiance cool!

I came here for the first time on my birthday this past year. I had no clue about this hidden gem because it is also located at the small airport. There's even a place next door to do a helicopter ride! We went for brunch on a Saturday and it was pretty busy. I started with the brûlée grapefruit with whipped cream berries. The combination of tart of sweet was perfect! I also tried the French toast- which is a graham cracker crust made into the cinnamon brioche toast. I loved the twist on this. They were so nice for my birthday and very accommodating! I want to go back for dinner and the helicopter ride. Fun fact- the terminal that the restaurant is located in was designed by Minnesota's first black licensed architect!

We started with drinks--the Naked and Famous 2.0 and the Aviation--both beautifully crafted and balanced, setting the tone for the evening. For appetizers, the Grilled Octopus stole the show. Tender and flavorful, it was perfectly paired with Spanish chorizo, fingerling potatoes, and a smoked paprika aioli that tied the dish together wonderfully. For mains, we tried the Dry-Aged Pork Ribeye, a standout with its rich bourbon bacon broth and perfectly cooked seasonal vegetables. The grilled baguette added the perfect touch for sopping up the delicious broth. The 300 Dollar Burger was a decadent treat--juicy wagyu beef elevated by the madeira truffle demi and foie gras butter, served with crispy wedge potatoes. Whether you're watching planes take off from the runway or hosting an elegant private event, Holman's Table offers a one-of-a-kind atmosphere that pairs beautifully with its outstanding food and seamless service. Wife and I came here for our 15th anniversary. We made reservations in advance and let them know the occasion so we were a little disappointed with the table we ended up being sat at (small two person table sandwiched between a corner booth and a large table with an infant) but in their defense after the table next to us left our waitress offered to move us over. The drinks and food were all fantastic! The location is easy to find if you follow the signs within the airport and parking is plentiful, valet would be nice for these cold nights but it's not a far walk from the lot. You can hear the planes and watch them if you are seated near the window. Gorgeous historical building.

Sat at the bar on a busy Sat night so would definitely make a reservation. It's kinda in a random place being at the St Paul Downtown Airport but the restaurant ambiance is nice. Our bartender was friendly and fun and I wasn't super hungry so I just got the bacon item under the starters but it was very good. Based off my dish, I imagine the rest of the food there is pretty good and I'd consider going back to try.

I recently went to Holman Table for brunch with a friend and was not disappointed. You simply CANNOT beat the location with views of the airport and planes passing by. A huge recommendation I would give would be to make a reservation as things do tend to get a bit crowded. Our waitress was incredible and very kind and timely. The biscuits with the jam were so flaky and the jam was tarte and sweet. My fried chicken sandwich was also packed with flavor and I loved how a side of fruit was a sides option. The one thing I will note is that the food does fall on the pricier side but if you are looking for a special occasion brunch, this place is TOTALLY a go-to!

We had excellent service in a comfortable atmosphere. Our server was informative and attentive. Courses were spaced out nicely and plates cleared between. We really enjoyed the old fashioned, mushroom toast, wedge salad, pasta and charcuterie.

We loved our experience at this place. It's kind of a hidden gem and the food is amazing. I've eaten here for mother's day brunch and we recently dined here for dinner. The shrimp appetizer with Thai chili sauce was one of their specials and was amazing and the maple glazed slab bacon was decent. My husband got the Hanger Steak entrée which was delicious (I'm ordering it next time) and I got their catch of the day scallop entrée which was tasty. The ambiance is nice and chic and it's neat that it's close to the St. Paul airport runway so we saw helicopters landing during our dinner. The service was good as well. I can see why this place is popular. It's not that big inside so reservations are recommended!

Holman's Table is a super find for group dinners. We enjoyed the location, complete with views of the runway. Reservations were easy. Parking was convenient. Delicious food, great service. In combination, a wonderful experience. Would return and recommend to others.

Had a cool place! We sat outside, right by the runway, and you can watch planes, land and taxi to the door to let people off to come eat! The food was quite good, the service was good and quick. Friday night they were having prices on a bottle of wines. Plus it was restaurant week, with a $40 fixed price menu. What more could you ask for?

We came here for dinner to celebrate my birthday. It was a wonderful experience! The restaurant is cozy and comfortable. The staff were so kind and helpful. Parking was super easy. The food, entrees, and dessert were all amazing! I'd recommend checking this out for your next dinner date!

Went here for a birthday dinner and it exceeded expectations. Everything we had was unique and delicious, service was prompt, and watching planes come in was a fun bonus. One of our favorite things was the Post Dinner Holman Abides drink, unfortunately not pictured here. A must have for coffee drinkers! The 3000 burger is a fun twist on a classic. Worth a try with unique flavors and BOMB potato's. It tastes good the next day as left overs as well.

Excellent brunch spot! The Bloody Mary board and the brunch tots, not pictured, are also amazing. Jeff was very friendly and enthusiastic server. Highly recommend the espresso martini as well. Great parking and cool views.

Food 5/5 -The food was overall very delicious! The maple bacon slab appetizer was sweet and just the right starter. The raised short rib was cooked well and so was the pork-chop. The dishes were plated well and main dish paired well with sides. Also a plus that they had a mock-tail list! Service 4/5 - The restaurant had a wonderful live pianist as we walked in. Our server was great with conversion and recommending food. The food did take awhile to receive but they kindly offered to get us a dessert on the house at the end of our meal. We kindly declined. Overall great experience. Ambiance 5/5 - The ambiance was quant and well decorated. The restaurant is a historic airplane terminal overlooking the airfield which adds a scenic element.

Decided to meet a friend here for a light dinner. We ended up sitting outside with a view of the tarmac, definitely a different experience than you can have at most places! Got a couple appetizers to start, the meatball and the cauliflower. The meatball sounded like a version of Swedish meatball, which it definitely was and was delicious. Although, it was one GIANT meatball that we cut up. It had pomegranate seed instead of lingonberry, but had the gravy and dill like traditional Swedish Meatballs have. The charred cauliflower was also very good, with a yogurt sauce. We were a little hungrier after that so we both ordered a salad. This is where it lost a little for me. The salads are huge, and no option for a half salad. I got the quinoa salad and there wasn't a lot of quinoa on it. I probably wouldn't get a salad there again. Service was pleasant, albeit, a bit slower. As always, I don't necessarily want to be rushed but I didn't expect to sit there for 2+ hours either. Saw that they have a fun happy hour in the bar area so may try to stop in again for that. Will come back and get entrees and with the expectation that is an easy-going service and plan accordingly.

We recently had a late weekday lunch at Holman's Table. There were only three other tables of people there at that time. We had an excellent smoked turkey sandwich and mushroom & Swiss burger! The fries weren't at all soggy which I appreciated. Sara was wonderful, very friendly and attentive! I enjoyed the elevated ambiance. We did overhear that the kitchen closes from 3-4 each day, so we were glad we happened to arrive before then. Unless I missed it, maybe that detail could be added to the website so folks can be aware? We will definitely be back!

This place always looks like a movie. You can get a helicopter ride too (make sure to RSVP - get booked fast) Foods are always great. Cocktails are Amazing with a twist. Service is fast and courteous. Live music Thursday starts at 5 pm. Get El Présidente. I don't usually drink rum. But this is delicious not too sweet. Well balance drink. Pomegranate molasses made in house. Drody (bartender) makes absolutely great cocktails!

I've been here twice and have had amazing food and service both times. I rarely write reviews, but after bringing my husband here for birthday dinner and a helicopter ride in 2022, and recently hosting a baby shower brunch for a friend today in 2025, i have to give props to all of the staff who made special memories and incredible meals come to life. Thank you for the great service, truly amazing food, and lovely staff. We appreciate you! Also, the best salad I have EVER had! At that's saying a lot.

My friend and I only stopped in for a drink and a dessert, just to check this restaurant out. We were in the neighborhood and thought let's just see this place! After seeing how wonderful it is, we vowed we would be back again for a full meal! Once we eat a full meal here, am certain will boost this to five stars.

I wanted to give a 3.5 but 3 seems like I didn't like it. It was really good. For starters, we had a reservation and still waited 30 minutes past that time. Sometimes this can be difficult to control. The waiting area felt like a cheap hotel lobby, or a library or something. I think this could be improved with better lighting and some paint really. Once we got to our seat, okay I'm not tiny, but I'm not that big. I couldn't fit in the booth. That was embarrassing. Like all the other reviews, that burger is really good. A nice thick patty cooked to a perfect, I mean perfect medium. Cheese could've been a little melted. I'm not sure the foie gras butter is necessary other than aesthetic, but that gravy is spectacular. I would've liked more to dip the burger in. Mushrooms of some kind, I think they says truffles are in it. It had a Salisbury steak quality, in a good way. I'd get it again for sure. My brother enjoyed his bucatini quite a bit. My friend enjoyed the vegetarian salad of some sort. The salad came out about ten minutes prior to the rest of the food. The potatoes lacked salt and were not crispy at all, in fact were slightly under. The service was great. Our server was very professional and we enjoyed her quite a bit. She was mad that our salad came out before the rest of the food lol. It was fine tho. The burger and the service get four stars. I'll be back bc my buddies want to try that burger at happy hour, it's $10 cheaper

I took my mother here for brunch and this place is amazing. As you drive through the airport you arrive at a parking lot with an amazing view of the downtown saint paul skyline. The view is breathing and you feel as if you can reach out and touch the city. As we entered the beautiful building we are greeted by all types of stonework and an extremely clean environment. Even the men's bathroom was clean and these days I'm not sure what men do but how do you get pee on the floor. We didn't have reservations so we got a seat and the hostess escorted us to the bar. The bar had many selections of alcohol and the coffee was very good. The coffee was black as a demonic soul and was not bitter or burnt. The bartender serving us was Nate and he was extremely friendly and accommodating. After the stressful morning, I ordered a mimosa that was mixed to perfection. For food, we decided to split a pizza and it was divine. The pizza had flavors of the different meats and a hint of basil. I was surprised it was so delicious. The day followed with another mimosa and witty banter. I plan on coming back here for dinner sometime and would highly recommend it.

Aviation drinks were syrupy but good. Walleye was light and flaky. It was very good. Wife had the scallops. She liked it Key Lime Semifreddo. Very good The service was good as we have always found it to be. We have been here a number of times and will return again always fun to watch the planes along with the good food and drinks.

Holy Cow!! This place is an absolute gem! I'm an aviation lover, and architecture lover and a love of fine drinks and food. Holmans Table checks all the boxes, and has some phenomenal service. What a pleasant find, and I can't wait to come back again in the future. We had brunch here on 3/30, and sat at the bar. We had the French Toast (uses their homemade bread) and their special breakfast pizza. Both were delicious! Gorgeous and historical space.

Great food and drinks, super friendly and professional staff, and amazing ambiance! We have been there for weekend brunch, dinner on a weeknight and just drinks and it's always great! Plus, who doesn't want to watch planes take off and land from their dining seat?! Great option for a special occasion but if you show up in running pants they will still be happy to welcome you in.

Lovely restaurant!! Was referred to me by my boss... she knew the menu and history of the building would appeal to me. We went after a birthday weekend away, enjoyed the Bloody Mary board, which was more than I expected it to be!! The food was fantastic, well made, flavorful and nicely presented. I enjoyed the experience so much, I have told at least a half dozen people about it so far... I'm excited to return!

Another great breakfast today. Doll had the standard scramble and I had the steak and eggs. Only complaint I have is they should give you a little more of the hash browns for the price you pay for the meal.

Brunch is amazing!!!!!!! We opted for the bloody mary board and they killed it. Perfect toppings, taste and spices. Our food was delicious too but we dug in so fast I didn't have time for a photo! We also ended the brunch with an espresso martini. Mouthwatering. I can't recommend this place for brunch enough!!

Holman's Table- I would have never guessed it existed on this side of St Paul, it sits in the middle of factories and office buildings right off the airstrip. It's worth the trip to possible see planes take off while enjoying a nice meal. The restaurant itself is quite quaint, capacity is 98. The back windows is ample for plane sightings. The $300 burger is so good. The meat is this thick juicy wagyu that sits on top of a fluffy bun topped with Gruyère and a four gras butter, all plated on top of Madeira Truffle Demi. Demi was amazing to dip the burger in for added flavor. Might even be a great idea to ask for extra Demi. Flying Hibiscus- beautiful red drink that comes with smoke salt, like an upgraded margarita. It was sweet and citrusy from the lime. Well balanced, must reorder type of drink. Holman's table is a cute romantic spot for a date. Sit on the patio during the summer.

We sat outside to watch to planes which is always a treat for our little one. It is kid friendly with a kids menu, kids cup and crayons. We went for brunch which offered quite a big menu with savory and sweet options. The service was good, was a bit slow though it was Fathers Day.

Contrasting the downtown hustle and bustle, Holman has its own classic ambiance, delicious brunch and exceptional service without any hassle for parking. Solid, safe flavorful fare for the ambience seeking midwesterner. We enjoyed the crab cakes and mushroom toast; which we found fresh and savory -- old favorites can often be tired, but this is not the case at Holman. Ease of parking makes this a no brainer for diners with a mobility issue. The turn of the century skyline of downtown St Paul before the grassy airport field is a surreal greeting that clears the mind before the heavy art deco brass doors seal the deal -- you're in for some good food.

This is my second time giving Holman's Table a try and I'm just not a fan of their menu in general. Both times I've had something that I didn't enjoy and I'm thinking this place is just not for me. I love that it's on an airfield and that makes it unique. The staff is nice and attentive. The food on the other hand is just not great. I've had an omelette in the past and today I had the cheeseburger eggs benedict. Not great, tasted like a burger, but there were no traditional Benedict's on the menu. I even had to get clarification on the menu items under "Benedict's", their options were cheeseburger, tostada, and BLT as their Benedict's. The one I got was drizzled in thousand island dressing, yuck, hard pass. They have a burger on the menu, I should have just gone with that. The omelette in the past was bland and tasteless, this Benedict was untraditional and not good. My friend had the Tostada Benedict and ordered shrimp with it. She seemed to like it! I personally can't win and not going to try again with Holmans! Side note: they have a mimosa board but it's $45 and the one from Hope Breakfast Bar is way better and cheaper.

We had our wedding last month at Holman's Table in the Earhart Room. Deb and staff pulled off everything perfect - down to the smallest detail. They knocked the timing, ambiance and decor out of the park. They accommodated many custom requests. I am still hearing feedback on how delicious the food was. On a score of 1-10 Holman's Table gets an 11. Thank you to your whole staff!

Such a fun place, sitting outside watching smaller planes landing and taking off - with the added benefit of wonderful food! We've been here several times and every time we're impressed with the food. Service was very good with friendly and interesting servers. We'll be back again.

Last review was a solid 5, this one is a 4.5 rounding up to 5. Still fantastic spot, food was good (though MUCH more expensive than I remember) and still a decent selection of local brews. Cocktails were good, service was attentive and friendly. Seated right away even though we were 15 minutes early for our reservation. Was with an out of town friend visiting for work, and that was fun - they loved the design of the place and the overall location. Still super solid, and I'll come again sometime - if you have not tried it, I recommend!

I love the concept of Holman's Table! I came here with my grandparents for a late lunch on Saturday afternoon. My grandparents were really excited to watch planes land & takeoff while we were eating but there was not much airport activity this day. The restaurant was incredibly cozy and welcoming and offered a nice selection of meal options. The portions were large and none of us were able to finish our dishes, but we all enjoyed our meals. Our waitress was kind and attentive. I think this is a great place to go for a unique meal!

Tables very close to each other and very noisy. Didn't know you could purchase helicopter rides on Saturdays now to the meal - not worth it at all. Elk was disappointing- over use of pepper, which made it near impossible to eat. Everyone at the table tried it and agreed YUK. The hanger steak was ok. 3 strips of steak the greens and sauce were less than appealing. The meal was NOT worth the cost! 4 people over 250 for meals alone, we have been to bars that had better meals! SERIOUSLY! Sadly, I won't be back. Service was ok with the exception of 2 missed drinks never given but charged for - we just paid up and left.

One of my favorite summer spots to dine. There is nothing better than sitting on the patio enjoying great food and service, while you watch the planes come and go. Outstanding atmosphere and views galore. I started with the Caesar salad. It comes with a sunny side up egg and cottage bacon so it's quite filling. We split the small version and that was about right. Very good. I had the dry-aged pork ribeye for my entree. Husband had the braised short rib. Both meals were excellent. As some who typically eats where no food can even touch another food on my plate, I love the chefs who create these dishes where I want to combine all the textures, colors, and tastes to experience joy of the palette. So good.

What a fun place- great food and service. The views are amazing. We'll be bringing out of towners here from now on.

Had tickets to a show at the Ordway, and decided to have dinner here beforehand. You would never "stumble" upon this spot, as it is hidden near the airfields of the St. Paul Airport, but I'm glad we found it. An upscale take on the retro diner, the interior of this space is intimate and moody. Fun light fixtures, elegant accents, and stunning views of the airport make this a perfect date spot. Started out with a cocktail, The Jump Seat, which was their lovely, smoky version of the classic Paloma. Moved onto the Brussel Sprouts, which were crunchy and topped with delectable blue cheese and aioli! The Sprouts were a little crispier than I would have preferred them, but a really great dish. Enjoyed the Roasted Butternut Squash Salad as my main. Large portion of mixed greens, with creamy goat cheese, cinnamon seasoned squash, and pepitas. Overall, an awesome meal! My stomach was a bit uneasy, so I kept it fairly simple but I am really excited to go back and try out some other menu items.

Vilma a table is one of the BEST restaurants in St Paul. I love their brunch options and atmosphere. Service is always top tier and the food/drinks never disappoint.
