I really wanted to love this place, since it's in the neighborhood and has such a cozy interior, but it's just too expensive, in my opinion, for what you get. My partner and I came here on a weekend for lunch. The inside is very sleek, and has a lovely seating area that feels like someone's living room. We each got a beverage (I ordered the matcha latte) and split two dim sum dishes: BBQ pork buns ($11 for 2) and soup dumplings ($10 for 4). The food and my matcha latte were perfectly fine, nothing mind-blowing, but we were definitely still hungry after and the total came out to nearly $50 after tax and tip. I might also just be a bit biased, since I love dim sum and am familiar with what the same dishes would cost at a full-service dim sum spot in Chinatown.
I'm curious to try some of their pastries still, since they have such interesting flavor profiles (salted yolk danish?), but I don't think I'll be returning for the dim sum.
