"Bright colours, greenery and local art decorate this spacious, upbeat restaurant. The cooking focuses on semi-rustic versions of British and Mediterranean dishes like celeriac soup or salt and pepper prawns, with good vegan and gluten-free options too, and each plate is packed full of punchy flavours thanks to the quality produce at its core. The friendly team make the whole experience enjoyable, from the warm welcome to the fond farewell." - Michelin Inspector

Home uses local produce to make fabulous meals. We walked in during a busy service and they seated us immediately and never made us feel rushed, even though they had squeezed us in. The venison burger was lovely, chips fab and the pasta was delicious. Puddings were lovely. A great meal and a good atmosphere. Definitely needs to be on your list to visit.

We stopped in Belfast on our way from the East Coast to West coast just to eat at this restaurant. Beautiful space with a lovely staff. Every item has a gluten free option. The food was not only stunning but absolutely delicious. We had he oysters, salmon gravlax, burrata and the Sunday roast- with beef and with chicken. Let me tell you, the chicken was the best we’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked with extra crispy skin. This place is worth the stop. Highly highly recommend visiting on your next time in Belfast or just passing through.

This is a lovely space, open restaurant seating with cosy spots in it. The food was delicious and there was a range of options. It was also my birthday and I was greeted with a pudding and candle ( unexpected ) and very much loved! Our server was very attentive, professional and friendly:)) Thanks to all the staff and our server Robyn! We will be making a return back here.

We recently visited the restaurant while passing through beautiful Belfast with our family. Based on the glowing reviews, we had high expectations — but unfortunately, they weren’t fully met. We sampled a variety of dishes: the steak and pork chop were excellent, the shrimp-gnocchi and soup were just okay, and the risotto didn’t suit our taste at all. The ambiance was lovely and staff really attentive, but there seemed to be an issue with ventilation — our clothes smelled quite unpleasant after leaving, which really affected the overall experience. In the end, we felt the meal was overpriced for what it offered.

I'm unsure how to thoroughly convey my disappointment in this restaurant. The starter was good, but a very small portion for the price. The second course came out and I received a sirloin steak instead of steak frites. The manager just told me "it's technically the same cut of steak so you can eat it anyway and I won't up charge you". No asking if I was okay with that, just acted as if he was doing me a favor. It was a good thing I got this sirloin steak though, because another one of the diners got the correct steak frites and they came out very cold. As we reached the dessert, the cocktail we ordered at the beginning still hadn't come out, so we asked to cancel it at this point. Dessert, I have to admit, was delicious and a good portion size. I thought about rating this place 2 stars because of how good the dessert was, but when the server brought out the bill which was £20 more than we ordered, I decided to settle on 1 star

Went to Home in Belfast on Mother’s Day – not because we expected an avant-garde deconstruction of cuisine as we knew it to be, but because we were in the mood for comfort, something warm, something relaxed and a bit like ‘home’. Started with the cauliflower and cheese croquettes - which were nice. The subtle flavours of cauliflower and cheese don’t necessarily need the contrast presented by the big flavours of the truffle dressing - but I knew it was coming so went with it. We might be reaching peak Truffle soon, and I’ll be okay with seeing a bit less of it when it happens. The smoked mackerel rillette was my favourite of the entrée - but I also enjoyed the flavours in the prawn entrée. When it came to the mains, the parmesan risotto, topped with crispy mushrooms and black garlic, looked good on the menu. As a dish, it wasn’t good – the base risotto was too soft from being overcooked and was strangely plain. The bold flavours of the added components were disconnected and didn’t save it. The person who ordered it loves risotto, and despite my best efforts to find a redeeming feature and reason to finish it, we couldn’t. The burger was good – no complaints, the person eating it enjoyed it - but there are better burgers elsewhere. If you’re here and feel like a burger it definitely does the job. I had the Irish duck breast roast – and shared it with the person who ordered the risotto. The roast was the winner for mains. The duck was cooked nicely, the red wine jus worked well, the veggies were good. The Yorkshire pudding had a burnt taste. Possibly oil too hot, possibly just a misstep on the day. Either way we forgave it - but it is what drew me to order a roast in the first place. We had a few glasses of Rosé and Pinot Noir and had good chats. We joked that sometimes it is the not perfect meals that make good memories. I liked the feel of the restaurant, and the staff were friendly and it was the relaxed vibe we wanted. Sure - not all the dishes were great, but that happens. The risotto needs re-thinking, it’s a good list of ingredients - but was a bad dish. As a talking point, it was good to learn what it is we all love and want when we order a risotto, or that I’m not the only person who orders a roast for the Yorkshire puddings. I got the “home dark chocolate tiramisu” - it didn’t have any coffee, nor did it have dark chocolate soaked sponge. It was like a dark chocolate mousse with some cream in a wine glass. I get it was a “dark chocolate tiramisu”, but it was definitely nothing like a tiramisu. I love tiramisu, I didn’t love this interpretation. Often times the best part of the meal won’t be the food, it’s the laughs, learnings and the company of those we love. That was the case here, but I’d go again and try other things.

Researched where to eat before arriving in Belfast, and Home did not disappoint! We made a lunch reservation and were promptly seated when we arrived. They offered a 2 or 3 course menu option. The menu had so many interesting options that it made it difficult to choose! We chose the Home Salad and Rarebit to start, both were so fresh and flavors were on point! Our mains were the Steak Frites and Roasted Chicken. The steak can only be ordered pink or well done. I chose pink, and it came out a perfect medium rare with flaky finishing salt on top. The pickled onion slices added a nice acid to balance the steak and fries. The chicken was so sumptuous and tender! Finished up the meal by sharing the Creme brulee with passion fruit. The tartness of the passion fruit complemented the sweetness of the creme brulee. *One issue, the only issue, is there seemed to be little to no ventilation in the restaurant. The air was a bit heavy with the cooking/smokiness, like they needed to turn a fan on, and it was negatively affecting my husband. Overall, it was a great meal and would definitely recommend!

Google
My food was lovely, full of flavour. Some of the others at my table had pasta and the fish, but the fish was cold and pasta overcooked. So expected a little more , that being said staff didn't hesitate to replace it. It did dampen the night a little. However that could have been a random event. I had the potato gratin and it was beautiful.

Yelp
A fabulous high-end dinner at Home, selected as they have a complete gluten-free menu and lots of very tasty options. I went with the roast chicken breast which of course is all sorts of fancy on the menu. "Grange farm chicken, crispy colcannon, creamed celeriac, summer greens." It was presented perfectly and I cleared the plate. Delicious. The winner at the table was the lamb rump, served with a basil mash, ratatouille and confit lamb belly. Looked great, smelled great. Service was top notch. Wine list was decently extensive. And the desserts also looked amazing. Definitely a top notch meal and probably the fanciest I had in all of Ireland. Yelp
Home was an absolute smash hit! Our party of 4 arrived at 630PM for dinner on a Monday and had the best time. The ambiance of Home was extra cozy. The dining room was painted dark warm tones and had the feel of a cabin. We were seated immediately and placed an order for cocktails. Our table got the blood orange margarita, old fashioned, and white peach martini. The drinks were incredibly tasty and were such a hit that we ordered another round. For our main food, we got the house bread which came warm and crispy and was paired with delicious bread and olive tamponade. We also got the beef dumplings which in my opinion were not dumplings, but closer to a perogi. They were crispy and umami. Two of us got the chicken main and the other two got the pasta with beef cheek/mushroom and the fish with clams. Everything was amazing! All proteins were juicy and succulent; all veggies were prepared perfectly and seasoned well; and all carbs were complimentary to the dishes. To finish our experience, we ended with the mind blowing sticky toffee pudding. I have no words. I understand why this is such a popular dessert in the UK. WOW. Home was a 10/10 and completely deserved the Michelin recognition. We hope all travelers give this restaurant a chance - it will blow you away.

Yelp
After a tiring train journey from Dublin, Home in Belfast was just what we needed to refuel. This cozy, homey restaurant provided a warm welcome and an even warmer meal. Opting for the two-course prefix menu, I was pumped about the white bean seafood cassoulet. A perfect spice and zest. I've been very impressed with the seafood on this trip. Service was fantastic the entire visit. The staff was attentive and friendly. This location is fantastic. It's about a 10 minute walk to City Center.

Yelp
We had late lunch at home and was pleasantly surprised by the nutritious and delicious meal we had. We shared the autumn super salad and the lunch special of smoked haddock gratin. The salad was exactly what I wanted, tahini, beets, quinoa, and autumn vegetables. It was colorful and had so many textures, while being filling. The smoked haddock gratin was amazing also. Salty haddock on new potatoes, with creamed leeks and grained mustard. The fish was succulent and paired so nicely with the sauce. The space is super bright and airy with so many plants around. It feels like a homey space to have a meal and get out of the rain. Would definitely recommend!

Yelp
You know what they say..... bad service can ruin a good meal.... This is what happened in our case. We made a reservation based off of reviews right for when they opened at noon. We were seated by a very kind gentleman and that is where the good service ended. The ambiance is great, reminds me of a restaurant I love in Brooklyn. The menu is also wonderful. My husband and I decided on the prix fixe menu and our son opted for the grange farm chicken. For our starters we got the squid and the cauliflower veloute. Both of the starters were delicious. I opted for the smoked haddock dish and my husband had the chicken confit. These dishes were both delicious as well. For dessert he had the coconut panacotta and I had the sticky toffee pudding..... the deserts were just okay, tasty but nothing special. My son loved his chicken and had the sorbet selection for dessert. Our waitress was the real problem here. She seemed irritated when we asked about the menu and rolled her eyes at my 12 year old son when he wanted to order from the adult menu. She was not attentive to our table and left plates and glasses sitting in front of us, never clearing them. This is not what you would expect from a Michelin star restaurant. She was just plain rude. Had the waitress been great they would've gotten 4 or more stars from me.

Yelp
The Food and service was Amazing! By far our best meal in Belfast. Highly recommend. A lot of food is native to the land as well as a lot of bar food, so this was a nice change.

Yelp
4.5 stars seems about right. The ambience and the service was excellent. The food, which had really nice presentation/plating, was solidly good....but my tastebuds weren't wowed by the food as much as everything else about this place. I'd recommend getting reservations, as this place was very popular and although we luckily got a walk-in table for two, multiple people after us were turned away as all of the other tables were reserved (and thiswas on a Tuesday in October....they must be crazy busy on weekends and in the summer).

Yelp
We stumbled upon this Michelin star restaurant on a Sunday night. The menu was right out of a San Francisco farm to table. The food was delectable. Save room for desserts, the chocolate pudding and torte were scrumptious. We had seafood, venison ragout and a vegan salad. Best of all, we walked right in. Slight nits: we were seated in the back and could look right into the dishwasher station. Our waiter left us alone, which was appreciated but stalled out meal. Overall, if you get the chance to try this place, take it.

Yelp
Just left a lot to be desired. Good food, mid tier service. Food was out quick, but I'd go elsewhere if you're looking for a fancier dining in Belfast.

Yelp
'Home' is an appropriate name for this restaurant since the food that came out seemed like it was made by young kids who don't know how to cook. Unfortunately, my expectations going in for an early dinner was not even close to being met. Ordered the mackerel and beetroot salad starter, risotto primavera, and sticky toffee pudding. The mackerel was so so, not really much at all on the plate and was not seasoned at all (sure it is a starter, but come on). The few pieces of salad were wimpy and wilted. I feel like if going to a Bib Gourmand restaurant, the food should come out properly seasoned straight out of the kitchen. Still, I was hungry, so ate it. Next was the risotto - yikes. Risotto should be creamy and full of depth, this was like they used a rice cooker for and then added some broth, not that the rice was simmered low for a while, allowing it to slowly cook and develop flavor. Lima beans somehow were hard, but also wrinkled. Oh, and again with the seasoning. Still ate it. Hoping that dessert will redeem it all. Unfortunately not. First couple bites of sticky toffee pudding were good (sugary, what is not to like), but after a while the sweetness was one dimensional and overwhelming. Sad experience really. Service was alright. I was seated right away, food came out quick (would have preferred that they take their time and make it right). Ambiance was fine. But overall not the kind of experience from a place listed by the Michelin Guide.

Yelp
Simply delicious. We each had the 3 course prix fixe meal, one smoked cod and one chicken. We both started with the salmon dumplings. Then, the rice pudding and the sticky toffee. All were outstanding. Service was friendly and attentive. Not a lot of places open in Belfast on a Sunday night. Check it out!!!!!!!!

Yelp
Wandered in w/o a reservation, and we were able to get a table. Food and service were great. Lucas, our waiter, is truly the world's greatest waiter. He made our meal all the more enjoyable.

Yelp
Went with a group of 10 people Thursday 16th November, the food itself was lovely, the service very unfriendly, we booked for 6pm at 8.05pm our bill was brought to us and we were told in no uncertain terms they needed the table back now!! It was a very unfriendly and rushed affair, I ended up having to take my dessert, and wine up to the bar to finish it. When we challenged who I assume was the restaurant manager he stated some of us had been late, I was 10 mins. Late due to train being late and gave my order right away we waited nearly half an hour to get our food. A very unpleasant experience and will never be back. All the group complained about how rude the staff were, they packed the restaurant, it was a case of bums on seats, not enough staff and to hell with customer service. Never again

Kate C.

Yelp
This restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside, but upon entering you feel welcomed into a very comfortable space. The food was immaculate and our server was fast, funny, and had good recommendations. This is a must stop for future trips to Belfast.

Yelp
If your in Belfast and looking for more than 2 dozen Vegatarian & Vegan options this is the place for you Staff is very friendly & the atmosphere is relaxed and laid back All the items are farm fresh & a fusion of flavors & ingredients Great wine selection as well as two pages of regular (non veg) items For foodies it's not to be missed when in Belfast

Yelp
This restaurant has such an intriguing menu, and I loved the cod that I ordered. The entire dish was absolutely perfect. We also started with the bread and tapenade which were delicious too! The only downside was the incredibly rude host/server. I don't expect overly-warm, cutesy service at all; I understand that everyone's human and just tending to their jobs. But this man was particularly unpleasant. He was condescending, wouldn't even look us in the eye, and made a huge deal out of giving us a table for an hour. We understood that without a booking we'd only get the table for an hour, and wanted to eat as quickly as we could so as not to burden them, but he made us feel idiotic for even wanting to try to get a table without a booking! He alone would turn me off from returning again, which is saying something because the food was outstanding.

Yelp
Divine beyond words! I was lucky to be treated to dinner at home restaurant, by my work. We ate there on a weeknight, and I had eagerly eyed up the menu beforehand, but it all sounded so good, I was still none the wiser as to what I was going to have before I got there. It was my first visit and I have to say I absolutely love the ambiance of the restaurant. Lovely rustic interior, it really suits the name 'Home' and conveniently located in the city centre, it was super easy and hassle free to get to. In the end, I decided to go for the Fishcake and pureé starter, followed by Cod and crushed chickpea main. The food was out of this world, almost to the extent of wanting to lick the plate, it was so good! Great selection of time too, fantastic restaurant!

Yelp
Yesterday was another absolute stinker of a day and I was ridiculously early for a meeting in town so I called in to Home and met a friend. He was having lunch and but I opted for a just a coffee. Home really does feel like Home - there's a fantastic ambiance to the place. Even though it was busy and there was a buzz of chatter it was still peaceful. Home is split in to two clear parts. A deli for lunchers on the go and coffee drinkers like myself and a restaurant area for those who are looking for a finer dining. For the restaurant, that was very busy yesterday, you have to wait to be seated but for the deli you can grab a seat and queue up at the counter. I went to the counter with my pal who was eating and the healthy options were great, all sorts pf greenery. We sat ourselves at the window and watched the world go by. As mentioned it was a really nice atmosphere and a great spot to unwind at lunchtime. Sometimes these sorts of places are manic but things couldn't have been more different here. The coffee was great too - strong and slightly bitter, just how I like it and at £1.90 it was a snip. I can't wait to get back and try the food - when I do I'll do a review update.

Yelp
Amazing breakfast. Good coffee. Do yourself a favor and stop in. We had the sweet corn fritter and sausage black pudding burger with a poached egg. So much yes.
google avatar

Ezra B.

Yelp
The food and service was good, but I was not impressed with the options available (given what I read online beforehand). Perhaps it was because we came before lunch was served, but there were less vegan and gluten-free options available than we thought there would be. We ordered the vegan burger, which was pretty good, along with the potato salad and the corn & peach salad. They were all decent, but I'd like to come back when the full menu is available.
google avatar

Adam C.

Yelp
What can I say about my Home experience? Let's start with the good bit, that's the food. They have a huge range of healthy options. I went for frittata and feta salad which were from the fresh deli section. I didn't expect to like it as much as I did if I'm honest. The one thing that threw me off was being asked what I wanted as I approached the deli - make sure you decide in advance! We sat at the window looking out at rainy Belfast. We choose these seats mainly because it was so busy at lunch time. Although I'm glad we sat here as we got to see some interesting characters passing by! Home is great, somewhere I've never eaten before but I'm now keen to try their evening offerings.
google avatar

Anna C.

Yelp
Cozy and welcoming atmosphere. We had a lovely supper, we didn't have a reservation but they found room to seat us which was very appreciated. They are very conscious of allergens and almost every item on the menu could be done gluten free. We sampled a couple glasses of wine from their wine list which paired so well with our meal. The pumpkin ravioli was my highlight!
google avatar

R G.

Yelp
My friend and I visited this place today for dinner. We both ordered the 28-day aged ribeye steak. Although the flavors were outstanding, our steaks were more like sirlion or frozen steak that had been thrown directly onto a hot grill. When our waitress was informed, no-one even came to address our concerns. We weren't expecting anything as we had eaten the majority of our steaks before saying anything, but we atleadt expected an opportunity to express our discontent. After al I paid 23 pounds for the meal, so I believe I should have at least been heard. Again, the flavors were great, the atmosphere is inviting, and I'd return again and try something different.
google avatar

John C.

Yelp
Wonderful food. Great atmosphere. Clean rest rooms. Had the duck and beef bowl. Both very delicious. Would highly recommend for lunch.

Yelp
Friends who reside in Belfast took me here whilst on a short visit! It was so tasty. I got some sort of asian salad topped with salmon and i can't remember what else was in it but it was so good. Ugh! i want it now!!
google avatar

Drew B.

Yelp
If you actually hit during their few business hours, you'll get a decent meal. Their beef burger is okay, their starters better, and their booze selection abundant. Service is mixed ... polite but they got part of our order wrong, and charged us for both items.
google avatar

Lynne C.

Yelp
If you haven't been to Home restaurant, I suggest you give it a try. I challenge you not to find something you like on the menu. Well, I say menu, I really mean menus. Lunch, dinner, skinny, vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, kids and pre-theatre- there's a lot to choose from! Home originally started out as a pop up restaurant and proved so popular that it found itself a forever home in Wellington place. It has a New York loft feel about the place with dark wooden floors and high ceilings but while the space is airy and bright, the welcome is warm and welcoming with some very charming and attentive staff. I visited recently with my sister, before a little jaunt to the Grand Opera House. The restaurant is very conveniently situated a short stroll away and their pre-theatre menu was the perfect choice for us. Personally I am a big fan of splitting starters so I was delighted when Diane agreed to share the Hummus, veggies and Foccacia crisps along with the Whipped Goats Cheese, Beetroot, Apple, Candied Walnuts, Chicory & Balsamic Syrup. To sustain us while we waited we both ordered a refreshing glass of Sauvignon blanc. When the starters arrived, we agreed that while the hummus was nice, the goats cheese stole the show. The mixture of tastes and textures was a pleasure, especially the sweet, crunchy candied walnuts against the creaminess of the goats cheese, For the main course, I chose the Char Grilled Chicken, Peperonata, Spicy Chickpea Fries & Salsa Verde while Diane opted for the Pumpkin Ravioli, Spinach, Sauce Vierge & Toasted Pine Nuts. I am a massive fan of chickpeas so loved these quirky little fries which were a great accompaniment for the chicken and salsa verde. Diane was equally pleased with her pasta. Although we didn't need them, we also shared a portion of sweet potato fries- simply because we fancied them. We skipped pudding to get to the theatre on time but to be honest we really didn't have room anyway. All in all, I would declare our visit a great success. I will be back!

Yelp
Food ok, not great BUT there is a surprise 10% mandatory gratuity charge. It is on the very back page of the menu in small print!
google avatar

Yelp
This was a very neat place. The menu was very clear and very well thought out. The appetizers were great. My wife really enjoyed the service and the food was good.
google avatar

Yelp
This place was great. The service was good. The menu had a great selection but it is pricey. I got the roasted chicken. The mashed potatoes were fine but the other vegetables & the honey mustard was the bomb!! I ate all my meal, which is rare for me.
google avatar

Yelp
A group of us ate in Home on a busy weekend evening recently and had a great evening. The food was delicious as usual. The balti duck breast in particular was perfectly cooked and full of warm, bright flavours. I also love that Home have such great gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan menus. These are well balanced menus with a large selection, not simply an after thought as I have experienced elsewhere. It was the quality of service though that really impressed me. Despite how busy the restuarant was we still received faultless service. The staff were that perfect balance of friendly yet discrete and really made our evening.

Yelp
Recommended by our hotel and a great find! Our waitress was extremely personable and delightful- a former gal from across the pond. She nailed our accent down to where we lived in the USA. Pre theatre dinner was fabulous!! Tasty and delish! The BEST sticky toffee pudding- better then any we have had in the UK!! Loved it so much hoping to return before we leave.

Yelp
Quite nice dinner, and came as surprise! I didn't expect too much, but boy, was I wrong.T he service is friendly and competent, the atmosphere is at least good, but food was plain delicious. Prawns for starters was just ok, but lamb, and especially vietnamese duck were great, and so was hake. Best meal so far in Belfast! Highly recommend.
google avatar

Eileen J.

Yelp
I've spent quite a few excellent evenings here and never been disappointed. The menu is an eclectic mix with something for everyone including good vegan/ veggie options if required. The deli lunch counter is great value and the hot n sour soup cures all ills! Great service and interesting decor all adds to the dining experience. My favourite city centre eaterie and one I go back to again and again

Yelp
Home, sweet home! Ah well, I'm totally impressed by this restaurant. Great spot in the middle of the city, with a very pleasant atmosphere: high ceilings, lots of space with elements like a fireplace and chalkboard menus - just my type of restaurant. Staff is excellent and their menu is impressive with dedicated gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian and skinny dinner (and a combination of these e.g. GF skinny) options. I went for a Vietnamese Crispy Duck with a Mango & Chilli Salad the other night and it was possibly the best salad I have ever had! Definitely in my top 3 tastiest meals I've had in Belfast, if not the number 1! Another entry on my wee list of "I'm gonna take my friends here when they visit". Possibly won't wait till spring though, I'm dying to try other meals from their menu!
google avatar

Yelp
I had a Vegan meal in Home not that long ago. I have to say, massive Kudos for Home. It has a whole range of menus ranging from vegetarian and vegan, to slimming/healthy eating. I find that sometimes having a choice of menu can be a detriment to the food, as you are always going to get chefs who specialise in one thing or another. I have to say not true with home. I can only comment on what I have had but I've heard on good authority from friends who have eaten of several of the menus that the food is excellent across the board. I had a lentil dhal style dish with a flatbread and it was one of the best things I've eaten in Belfast. Simple tasty and elegant. I'll definitely be back as its a nice place, comfortable to eat and an amazing selection of foods. 5 Stars all round.

Mike D.

Yelp
Really good food, it was delicious. Allergy awareness was also really good. I needed to eat gluten free and some other minor foods that I couldn't handle and they still made something that tasted delicious! My friends have no allergies and also loved the('normal') food that is on the menu. I would really recommend it! I emailed them upfront with my allergies and they said it wouldn't be a problem. They are really nice and explain everything. I had the seared seabass with quinoa etc. and it seriously was the best meal that I can remember eating in a restaurant. So allergies or not, if you contact them upfront and remind them when you are seated (and when you order just to be safe,) it will all be fine!

Yelp
They say it's where the heart is. Home is perfectly located in the heart of Belfast only a 2 min walk from City Hall. Home caters to your every meal with Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner menus available. The evenings during the week are quite at home which is a contrast to lunch times. The menu in home has everything from sinful burgers available to more sophisticated fish dishes. There is also an extensive wine menu available making Home a comfortable retreat for any person dinning out. Oh they also do take away breakfast and lunch meals so if you're in a hurry you can grab something from the deli counter.

Yelp
Beautiful food and lovely staff. Best vegetarian selection in NI. The day deli for lunches are a must too!

Yelp
We came here on a Saturday night without a reservation, luckily they still had 1 table for 2 available! I had the pan fried cod and the hubby had the seasonal super salad with chicken. My fish was flaky and tender and served on top of nice veggies. Hubby's salad was delicious as well with layers of different types of veggies and flavors. I also had the lemon pena cotta with shortbread biscuits for dessert. It was lemony, light and delicious. The prefect finale to my meal. The service was very good as well. I definitely recommend this place for dinner. Just remember to make reservation if you are planning on going on weekends.

Yelp
Recently went here for lunch after suggesting it to a group of friends. Great menu on offer, very difficult to actually choose what I wanted to eat. Prices are very reasonable for a lunch time menu. Staff are absolutely fantastic. We sat outside because it was a bit of a humid day, so indoors was quite overwhelming. Had this niggling worry in the back of my mind that we would get forgotten about whilst sitting outside, but we had someone out every 15 - 30 minutes checking to make sure we were okay. Order was taken quickly, food and drinks arrived on time, staff members were happy to have a chat about the restaurant, particularly how it is popular with celebrities due to its vegetarian and vegan options (Charlie Hunnam, of Sons of Anarchy fame, was eating when we were in that day). The food itself was great. Portions just the right size to leave you feeling satisfied at the end of your meal. I opted for the Chilli Beef with Wasabi Mayo as a starter. Delicious crispy beef with a nice satisfying heat to the mayo. Pulled pork sandwich (which I have had on previous trips to Home) was piled high with pork and slaw, with a generous portion of crispy and fluffy fries. Bonus points for the entertainment provided by two local Belfast lads who were intent on stealing the very expensive bike that was chained up outside by one of the restaurant staff. Seeing Belfast's finest chase after them on Police bikes was quite the sight to behold. Lunch and a show, couldn't ask for anything more. Will be back soon.

Yelp
Tasty food, best dessert of my life. The sticky toffee pudding you will not be disappointed with it! Felt slightly rushed by the waitress but it was towards the end of the night. Quality food! Easy atmosphere:)

Yelp
I had dinner here with my boyfriend after finishing my exam I had heard good reports about Home and I wasn't disapointed. There was a nice interesting menu and lovely decor. It was a very busy Friday evening and we we lucky enough to get a table. The waitor took our order, but unfortunately had forgot to order our starter, so we had a bit of a wait. He was very apologetic and told us our starter would be on the house, as well as the drinks we had drank. He was genuinely sorry and this would not put me off as everyone makes mistakes and he let us have a table last minute in the very busy restaurant. The food was delicious and ambiance lovely.

Yelp
Food was excellent. They have a great selection for dairy allergies, vegetarians, and meat eaters. It was great for accommodating everyone's needs in our large group. The waitress seemed very unhappy the whole time but other staff was nice.

Yelp
Home food is delicious - and I am specifically referring to their dedicated vegetarian and vegan menus. The first couple of times I ate there I had the standard menu and was not overly impressed. I eventually realised all the people recommending this restaurant to me were vegetarians. So I ventured onto their veggie menus and it has been a revelation. Perhaps some of the best food I've ever had. So far I've tried their Salads, Sweet/Potato Fries, Salt n Chilli Tofu, Aubergine Coconut and Lentil Dahl, Aubergine/Roast Pepper and Feta Slices and Breads. I'll not be happy however until I've worked my way through everything on their veggie menus! Great food.

Yelp
Home is where you'll find good food and good service. They boast one of the only really great vegan menus in Belfast. But this isn't the only reason to eat at home. I feel the menu is unique in Belfast, providing a healthier, but no less tasty option to its customers. That combined with the friendly staff make home a great place for a well rounded meal.

Yelp
Wonderful restaurant with fantastic vegetarian and vegan options. Advisable to book in advance as can get extremely busy, and walk ins usually get turned away. Some staff are okay, but others could be more friendlier, even if under pressure. I still will be back though as the grub is fab!
