"What started as a coffee and tea shop with flowers and small succulents for sale—what else?—has quickly become much more of lifestyle shop, carrying a mix of mostly local-made ceramics, books, magazines, and small design goods. Stop in for a Blue Bottle coffee, or a Bellocq tea—their studio is next door—and walk out with a couple of small indoor plants, a Postalco notebook, and a Grain Edit beeswax totem candle. "

The menu looks interesting. But most of special stuff were run out at around 2pm on Sunday. We got typical latte. HOWEVER, the corner and the greenery /flowers area are way too aesthetic and chill, lots of sunlight. Great for a girls out!

Great people, great flowers, best coffee in Brooklyn! Always brightens our day going there. Warm and welcoming to our toddler and puppy! Can’t recommend highly enough

Fell in love with this place! Great variety of coffee, plants, flowers, candles, the list is long! You can get a coffee of choice, sit in the outside back area, and read a book, work or just chill... Enjoy!

Hidden gem in greenpoint. Good lattes, nice staff, and lovely backyard with plenty of seating. They get their matcha from Kettl and tea from Bellocq. That’s how you know it’s good! The atmosphere is great for work-from-cafe days, friend dates, and leisurely weekend coffees Big fan

Neighborhood favorite. Great coffee and amazing selection of fresh cut flowers and dried flowers. Pre made bouquets are always on point as well. P.S. the salted peanut butter cookies are the best.

I’m writing to share a distressing and dehumanizing experience. While my toddler was clearly in need of the restroom, a florist barged in twice completely disregarding the urgency and vulnerability of the moment. Whether or not the restroom is technically private, the lack of compassion shown, especially toward a child in distress, was shocking and deeply upsetting. To operate a cafe and invite paying customers in without providing access to a restroom is not only inconvenient, it’s inhumane. This experience left me humiliated and heartbroken. It’s something I will not forget. I hope you take this feedback seriously and reflect on how your policies and staff behavior impact families. No parent or child should be made to feel unwelcome or ashamed for a need as basic as using the restroom.

Google
Great place for coffee and just relax. Staff is super friendly and the best chocolate croissants ever!

Google
a beautiful coffee shop. i don't find most coffee places memorable but this place had the loveliest atmosphere. casual but nice collection of furnishings, ceramics and plants. and delicious cup of latte

Yelp
I've been around this cafe so much but had never gone in or considered their coffee before. I'm so glad I did this time! This is a great shop to search for the right holiday gift. I didn't end up grabbing anything, but I'm still thinking about some of the mugs I saw inside. They have a flower bar at the back which was interesting to me, but I didn't partake this time around. I picked up their hot "Pumpkin, pumpkin latte" and was pleasantly surprised. I wouldn't recommend it to the espresso purist, but I thought it tasted lovely and was perfect for a stroll through Greenpoint on the first snow day in NYC this winter. They also offered some pastries but I'm a butter purist and they were vegan, so I did not partake. This isn't a sit down shop by any means, it's definitely a place to stop in then keep it moving. I see they have a back patio but this wouldn't be the best time of year to explore it.

Yelp
Nice spot if you're in the area for a quick coffee dix. Not completely an artisan cafe, since they're mostly a flower shop. They have a light roast drip which is just elevated enough from a normal drip for coffee enthusiasts. While you're waiting, you can browse the selection of plants they have in the same space.

Yelp
One of my favorite coffee shops in Greenpoint! Not only coffee, but also flowers and other merch, so if you ever need a last minute gift, Homecoming is the place to go. My favorite drink here is an iced dirty chai but you can't go wrong with anything. Their coffee is just sooo good and I'm very picky with my coffee. I will say it's a little on the pricier side, but I can't help it. They do have a rewards system with a free item after 10 purchases.

Yelp
Cute little flower shop which serves coffee. Has a good amount of seating, 6 seats in the front and a patio with a dozen tables. Feels like a little oasis. The service from the barista is always good. I got the Maple Cinnamon Latte which I love. They serve pastries, however have not tried.
google avatar

Sabrina H.

Yelp
Beautiful cafe that has a flower section where you can ship by stem. Good quality coffee and several pastries/loaf cakes. They have a big backyard with lots of seating but only 2-3 benches inside for a handful of people. Flowers are kinda pricy but coffee is great and staff is friendly.

Yelp
Very good coffee/capp. Fast friendly together service even with a morning line. Almond croissant was a little flat for flavor. Average price for the area.
google avatar

Yelp
Pretty expensive and middle of the road coffee, plus rude baristas. They used to be awesome when they were on the other side of the street, but no more.

Yelp
THEY HAVE A HOJICHA LATTE. I walked in with my roommate, fully planning to not spend money, but when I saw they had a hojicha latte on their menu, I knew I was going to be laying down my card. First of all, coffee shop x plant shop???! So cute. They have a bunch of beautiful plants, flowers, and trinkets. The whole place is just an immaculate vibe. OK, onto the latte! I ordered an iced hojicha latte with oat milk. I took my first sip, and my heart melted. It met all my expectation! The hojicha flavor came in strong, and the oat milk smoothed and mellowed it out. If you've never tried hojicha, you should definitely try it here. Or maybe not, because then you'll have super high expectations for hojicha.....jk, please do try it here!

Yelp
Coffee: 5/5 Ambience: 5/5 Service: 3/5 Plant Prices: 3/5 What a cute store where you can stare at plants while waiting for your coffee order. Excellent coffee, though it's somewhat true about the service here. The young lady at the register could have been more courteous. Upon placing my order, she ordered me to either way outside or in the back as if I was in her way. Thankfully, the barista guy was super nice so he made up for it :) The store itself has an assortment of overpriced plants but they do look very green & lush!

Kelsey F.

Yelp
Rude staff. Was given the wrong order, told I ordered wrong. This mug drinks iced coffee all year, so respectfully, no.
google avatar

Yelp
Homecoming is one of the cutest coffees shops in Williamsburg. I love the concept of flowers + coffee. The barista I met was friendly and she was able to help me customize drinks to remove cinnamon from my maple latte.

Yelp
Soooo cute!! This coffee shop not only has good coffee but also an amazing shop attached to it. The shop has plants and tons of cute decor items. I recently bought a Japanese Kinto water bottle from there and I am obsessed with it. What is great is they have a stamp card as well if you are an avid coffee drinker which is a plus!! Highly recommend checking this shop out.

Yvonne C.

Yelp
Fan of their flower selection, even though they are a little pricey. Coffee beans are also really good.
google avatar

Yelp
Cute coffee shop in Greenpoint with decent lattes and super beautiful plants/gift shop inside. Their coffee is a little sweet naturally, so it's not my favorite, but it's close to the park and near the water, so it's a nice location. The staff is always friendly and it's never crowded. If you like sweet coffee, you'll like it!
google avatar

Yelp
Really gorgeous floral/plant shop in the Williesburg area. Stopped in with a couple of friends because I was drawn in by their coffee, but I also was intrigued to see what plants were inside too. This shop is a picture perfect shot, if you ask me. :)

Yelp
I love Homecoming. I usually stop in before work or during the day for an afternoon pick-me-up. They're a lovely little neighborhood florist and coffee shop that offers everything from the cutest little plants to Dough Donuts and soy chai lattes. Mega yum. Service is friendly and quick. They also have this awesome loyalty program that helps you earn free treats and drinks (not that I need free food in my life, but you know, it's still nice). I really love their floral arrangements, and sometimes buy a bouquet here just because. There's not much in the way of seating, but there is a bench or two outside that's nice for warmer days. Speaking of warmer days, their iced coffee is top notch. If you need to grab a quick gift (plant, artisan chocolates, planters, other cute things) or a quick latte, stop in to Homecoming! You'll feel right at home. ;)

Yelp
Easily has become my favorite place for chais and unwinding. The staff is the loveliest, the ambiance is amazing. I selfishly don't want this place to be discovered by the masses because it's become my oasis! But the more people that visit, the more people fall in love with it...and who can blame them? :) Some favorite baristas to note: cinnamon girl heather graham lil mama the one in the band funny tall guy
google avatar

Paulina C.

Yelp
So the place is nice and quaint, nice flowers/vases but the coffee idk, I got the marzipan latte cause I love marzipan, but what I got was cold coffee with no flavor and chunks or idk what, so for $6.50 for the small cup I was really disappointed. My daughter got the chai latte and it was too spicy. So overall wouldn't recommend the coffee from our experience but would recommend the flower shop part of it.
google avatar

Yelp
Wow! Want a giant side of attitude with your coffee?! Haha I was warned but just wow. Will not be coming back here to visit these rude people!! I got a latte which was only lukewarm and the guy also refused to heat it, on top of the rudeness. Bye Felicia!!!

George K.

Yelp
Best of the best flowers, gifts, drinks. Celebrities hangout. Loving and caring management team.

Yelp
Cute coffee shop in greenpoint. Staff was friendly. Tables available on the sidewalk if you want to drink your coffee on premise. I ordered a cold brew and was given the choice of plastic or paper straw, and a pumpkin loaf. I was there a little past lunch so not many pastries options. But pound cake is always a good choice.

Yelp
Very fun, cool concept store. They have tons of adorable gift items in addition to gorgeous blooms and of course coffee (complete with Dough doughnuts!). I put together a bouquet for a friend I was visits that afternoon and was clear about my budget. The staff person helped me assemble it and quoted one price, which all of a sudden ended up being about $4 more once rung up. I guess because of tax? Who knows. It was unexpected for sure. When I left I was bummed because saw they had precut bouquets in mason jars for only $20. I wish I had gone that route since I would have had much more bang for my buck! I've also had coffee from here a few times and enjoyed it. I suppose they just moved over to Sightglass coffee which I had in SF a few times and really enjoyed, so was happy to see that. I think they may be one of the only places in NYC what serve or! This alone is worth a visit!

Yelp
I like the decor and the concept (Berry st location). I like looking at their plants. The backyard reminds me of Saturdays on Crosby st. which is great for hanging out with friends. I gave it 3 chances so far but I think the coffee here isn't great. The drip is is too acidic, the latte is weak and watery, has wrong temperature and has no decadent aroma you'd find at places like Blue Bottle. I'd go there to hang out in their backyard and get some tea because no one can really do teas wrong. If you are looking for that perfect cup of (coffee-based) latte, go to El Beit, Upstate Stock, Bakeri, Blue Bottle, Partners - all 2 blocks away from this place. The no bathroom or WiFi situation is also a sign that they are not trying much. I hope they'll take the feedback in and improve it.
google avatar

Rosaura F.

Yelp
I love the coffee and lattes in this store. I always look forward to stopping by when I'm in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.. They have the marzipan latte that's delicious!!! They have tasteful teas too; There is also a flower store and cute artsy gifts.
google avatar

Yelp
I wish you were my neighbor. It will cover the blah days I have. I discovered your store while I was doing a bike exercise, a better route I discovered from Astoria-Greenpoint (or to Williamsburg if I have more time/strength)-and back. Seeing your store makes me smile. I had to stop biking and admire! You carry group planter pots that i hope someone will give me on a birthday/Christmas. Interesting mags and a small corner where you sell pastries and tea/coffee. So when I bike, I can...enjoy a cup of coffee too?
google avatar

Yelp
Lovely place to get a drink, but rarely do I have a non-burnt espresso pull, unfortunately so I get a latte to balance the bitterness. Their plants and other goods, though, are very beautiful and unique. It's a well kept clean place to go if you're in a browsing mood.
google avatar

Sam R.

Yelp
The coffee is great. The baristas are sweet. The music is always awesome. The plants make me happy. Go get a chai from Jacob. Lauren and Casey are lovely as well.
google avatar

Yelp
I would say hands down the best coffee ever ...the roasters got it right .. perfect coffee not burnt .. can't wait to come back again ... love it
google avatar

Jenny L.

Yelp
Variety of plants and flowers. Great selection. Plants are all healthy and in great condition. Such an easy trip every time and always leave with something for my place.
google avatar

Yelp
The apricot thyme scone was the beat scone I've eaten in my entire life. Highly recommend the NOLA cold brew, also.
google avatar

Alex P.

Yelp
What a lovely bunch. Friendly service as one would expect from a decent coffee spot. Great tasty delicious consistent coffee options. Thank you. Sightglass was a great choice, the Verve is even better. Love that you also sell pots and plants and flowers! Magazines, and the random trinkets are also quite fun but the coffee culture and flora are what keeps me coming back.

Angel G.

Yelp
RUDE! Too expensive to have an attitude serve your coffee! Really ridiculously bad behavior. Especially the blonde chick. If you hate your job then get another one- but don't be rude to clients. Especially during a pandemic. Also- asked for oat milk - the girl put whole milk and then tried to pretend she put oat milk. And when I asked she said ohhh but I only put a little--- you up charged for oat milk- and I have an dairy allergy - if you know you messed up- then correct the mistake and make fresh. Don't try to hide. Really terrible customer service. Over priced. Never again.
google avatar

Frances M.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place! It's a coffee shop & flower shop in one. It's also directly across the street from me so it's super convenient in the morning. The staff is always so nice. Much nicer than some of the other places on Franklin St. I always get their cold brew, it's very good. They also offer oat milk which is my new obsession. Not very many places do so it's a major plus for this place. FYI though, there isn't much seating so it's not a place you can hang out & do work on your laptop.

B W.

Yelp
Great coffee, and a really cool place with really great employees. On a recent visit, I bought a chai latte which came out tasting odd and unlike when I had bought it in the past. I brought it back to the shop and the barista remade it right away, even though they were just about to close. The second drink was back to Homecoming's normal high standard, and I really appreciated their gracious customer service. Also, their new chai is delicious - much more flavorful and not too sweet!

Ben T.

Yelp
Staff really makes you feel like they are doing you a favor by serving you. The same goes to the flower shop I asked for a price and was rudely told prices where on the plants and to look it up. Not the kind of customer service I was looking for.
google avatar

Erica L.

Yelp
I can be in here all day, there is WAY TOO MUCH CUTE STUFF TO LOOK AT!!! My coffee was great along with the croissant and vegan strawberry ginger muffin. I wish I lived in Brooklyn so that I could buy all the vases, pottery and super healthy plants that thrive in there.
google avatar

Sara G.

Yelp
Delicious coffee + baked goods. I've purchased many items from the floral shop in the back including gift cards, beauty products and candles. Overall- great vibe!
google avatar

Taylor T.

Yelp
This place is amazing! I love that you can get coffee inside what looks like a garden! I had to buy some flowers too!

Yelp
I really can't express how good this little gem of a shop has made me feel, basically in every way possible. But, I'll try anyway. The entire staff (Vince, Ashley, Rob, and even their trainee Gabe!) made me feel like I was part of an ensemble cast for Cheers of the 21st century or something- they all learned my name, treated me like a favorite regular, and were SO accommodating went I let my coffee get cold and they steamed it back to life for me. I'm spoiled. That would be enough already, but the physical space is so charming too that it really must be mentioned. The cafe-cum-botanical-mecca is full of lovingly arranged flowers, plants, and succulents of all kinds, housed in on and around beautiful custom woodwork. Sonically, the music is the perfect volume and tone, and the baristas asked me what I wanted to hear, played my favorite band when I requested it, and barely made fun of my music taste at all, which is really saying something. Everyone that came in and out was treated with care and attention and made to feel truly appreciated and part of the family. What a treat. AND apparently they are just now starting to serve chai, which they allowed me to sample in both "dirty" and "clean" formats, and it was perfectly creamy, sweet, and spicy, so I would highly recommend it. When you go, look out for a strange internet celebrity called "Gordon." He will definitely dance for you, show you videos of himself from the year 2010, and do a crossword puzzle with you if you stick around long enough. Suffice it to say that I would give Spina 6 stars if I could, and I would buy a plant from them if I didn't kill everything I touch.
google avatar

Yelp
I love the atmosphere here! Beautifully curated plants and flowers. Came on a Saturday early afternoon with a friend to catch up. People were mulling around the shop and we got prime seating on the wooden bench. There was a constant flow of people but never in an overwhelming way that made you feel you had to rush to finish because there aren't many seats. The coffee was delicious! I loved that you could pic flowers and mix and march your own bouquet. Also, all the ceramic wall hangers are on my list of things to buy soon. Great concept of a coffee shop!

Gulsezim M.

Yelp
I love you almond milk latte . Taste amazing !!!!!! For me it was better than the whole milk latte!!!
google avatar

Raq L.

Yelp
This place gets 4 stars because of the decor and ambience. It's really nice to browse the flower section in the back, although I have never purchased because they are really overpriced (does anyone actually buy flowers here??). The coffee is never that good. But when it is warm out, I sometimes stop by for the NOLA ice coffee which is really good.

Ana D.

Yelp
I absolutely loved this shop, which makes my experience today all the more unfortunate. My boyfriend had gifted me a copper mister from the shop for Valentines Day. After a few months of gentle use, the finger loop popped off. I thought it would be simple to go to the shop and do an exchange for the same item. They informed me that returns/refunds were not allowed in their shop policy. In addition, because my boyfriend had bought it in December they felt this was too long a period to accept a return. I explained it was a gift so it wasn't used till late February. They still shook their heads and said no exchange sorry. I own 5 plants and used it 4 months, not nearly enough use to justify the malfunction. I go to local businesses with the expectation of strong service. Homecoming has an amazing atmosphere, tasty coffee, and lovely plants but sadly they are lacking where it matters. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
google avatar

Lauren E.

Yelp
Beautiful store, beautiful plants, delicious blue bottle coffee. We came in for both plants and coffee and our barista was able to give us tips on care for for the two low light plants we selected. Something about being surrounded by green growing things is really nice. Can't wait to visit again!

Lucy V.

Yelp
Staff has a bad attitude. My friend was going to buy a plant, but we left because it appeared that we were putting the staff out by asking a couple of questions. My friend and I both felt unwelcome. There's no need for us to go there ever again.
google avatar

Gina A.

Yelp
Cute little shop full of different types of plants, pots, plant holders and limited selection on some books, decor, candles and body care products. I came mainly because the aesthetics of this shop looked so airy and fresh, leaving me with a lot of room inspo. I've been looking all around for some peonies and originally had planned to pick some up here if they had some in store but I'm glad the flower shop I came to prior had better options. They were selling their peonies which seemed really small and unlikely to bloom for $10 each. $10 for 1 peony! not even a whole bunch...their little air plants also sold for $14 when I saw some at another place for $5 each. So basically, aesthically appealing but would not come back to purchase any flowers/plants from here.
google avatar

Jenni S.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. It's such a wonderful little Greenpoint nook to grab a coffee (Verve Coffee, from Santa Cruz, CA), perhaps a pastry, and nibble while you smell the flowers, admire the cacti, perhaps build your own bouquet, or grab some locally made soap, or jewelry. It's soothing, and sweet, and I never miss a chance to poke my head in.
google avatar

Joanie K.

Yelp
Cute shop selling small bouquets (of the rustic theme) and succulents as well as coffee. got an iced latte. No complaints! And, honey is avail for pouring on the counter!

Ora F.

Yelp
My husband and I almost didn't get flowers for our wedding. We would whisper to each other as we fell asleep, "flowers are nice, but they are SO expensive." Here's the thing - we were wrong. Homecoming made us beautiful arrangements and worked with us on price until we found something that was a perfect fit. They also made my bouquet and my husband's boutonniere. We felt very, very special. Now, as we fall asleep, we whisper to each other, "those flowers were so beautiful."
