Google
This HomeGoods location is one of my favorites! It’s larger than most, with a wide variety of items to choose from. I especially love their seasonal decor and beautiful selection of dishes—they always have something new and unique. The store is well-organized, making it easy to browse, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Whether you’re looking for home essentials or that perfect accent piece, this location never disappoints!

Google
Absolutely LOVE this location (Logan /Elston Rd, Chicago)! The staff is amazing, always ready to assist, as well as kind and courteous! Check these 2 wonderful, well made recliners I recently purchased. And for the fraction of the of another recliner I purchased ( which we lost because the store closed , permanently!!). Really happy I found these wonderful replacements, they are perfect!! Thanks HOMEGOODS…… I love to “ GO FINDING “ at ALL of your locations!! Jewel

Elm local reviews

Google
They are so nice and helpful. All the items are beautiful.

Google
I went looking for plant shelving. This store had an excellent selection of sturdy and nice looking plant stands and free-standing shelves. I was helped by Raul, one of the floor clerks. He was really nice and helpful. He suggested a number of types of shelves that might work. He helped me bring my purchase to the register and loaded them into my car. I would recommend this store for its inventory and customer service. The parking was also super convenient.

Carlos Soria

Google
Store was cramped, messy and chaotic. Lines were too long and moved slow. Seemed to be understaffed. I did go on Sunday so it’s expected. Won’t make that mistake again. However if I can expect Sunday crowds, shouldn’t they as well? I bought two very nice towels, great price.

Real Love

Google
I’ve been to this store twice in less than 2 weeks and each time, the store employees are rude, behave like they don’t want to be bothered, and are unhelpful. I greet them politely and they respond dryly and like they don’t even want to be spoken to, and when you ask for help after, they never know where things are—or perhaps they do, but just don’t want to be bothered and don’t care to help. This will be my last time coming to this store. I’d rather buy on Amazon. Do better.

Google
If you love finding discount home products this shop if perfect for you. I usually like to look for kitchen stuff and dishes. This place is dangerous, I always end up walking out with random items I didn't plan on buying. In the spring time they have a great selection of planters available.

Chloe Streif

Google
Came soon after they had put out all their Halloween items and was thoroughly impressed with their selection! They’ve got stuff for just about every spooky vibe you want! This store is stocked with items both functional and decorative for just about every room in your home. It’s chaotically wonderful and you never know what treasures you’ll find hiding in the shelves. Your total can add up fast though 😅

Yelp
I enjoy this location a lot. It has an ample sized parking lot but depending on times, it can get pretty packed. This location is relatively clean and things organized but I do find they are mostly always low staffed. Good deals but make sure if you get any supplies like kitchen equipment, bath, etc. it's often dinged up or something wrong with it which is why it's discounted at a low price: especially clearance items. Pillows, sheets and the softest blankets are usually a must.

Christina K.

Yelp
I always love perusing the different home goods locations. This one has a bigger furniture section than ones I've been to. Lots of seasonal and outdoor decor. Not as many knickknacks but still a lot to view. I returned an item and purchased another at same time and it was easy to do!

Yelp
On August 21,2024 - while I was shopping and pick up the small coffee table - the top detached and hit my toe - in pain I ask store associate to call manager so I can get some bandage. Blood started to come out but store employ was busy either with something else or bringing me small bandage or gauze. While I was lefted alone - some shoppers stops and ask if I needed help since my toe was bleading heavy. Thank God to Nurse practicialnal who was shopping there - that she bandage my foot , told me to go to Emergency and offer drive. Store DID NOT offer any more help - just privide me with claim # if i need to report it. Emergency Room informed me that I should be deliver there in ambulance. Ot was very deep cut by right foot toe nail - had to go back to Emergency Room again since I was still bleading heavy for special glueing treatment. Very unpleasent experince. BE aware of things foling a parts. You on Your on. Staff is super dissapointment and lack of education poor educated and simply DO NOT care for people

Yelp
Sunday May 14th, 6:22pm manager on duty is rude and has a bad attitude. Cashier was very nice, manager unwelcoming energy.

Yelp
Absolutely love this HomeGoods! There is always something in Home Goods that tickles my fancy. Found linens that TJ Maxx didn't have. Good prices on most. Crazy wild selections but very "crafty" oriented. Great for accent furniture or items. Truffle oil I couldn't pass up. Shopaholic's dream. HomeGoods is the kind of place that if you see something you need to buy it because you won't find it again. Yet this store has so many great items in stock and the staff is always extremely helpful. They also always have an extensive amount of clearance on sale more so than other HomeGoods. I like this location of HomeGoods, it's quite large, very neat and organized. Very busy on a Saturday afternoon. It's a great place to go and get ideas for home decor when you're bored with your house.

Joseph A.

Yelp
There are the huge selection of goods. Great place to find housewarming gifts or seasonal decor for your home. Love the selection of goods. Great place to find housewarming gifts or seasonal decor for your home. The prices here are the very best. Dog jackets are the very best and very inexpensive. I also love the candles and bathroom decor. We bought a beautiful snow globe that was a gingerbread house. It lit up and played music. Before we could get it upstairs to her apartment it was broken. The Service Desk Manager, Tracey found the globe and kindly held it until I could pick it up the following day. Customer Service means a lot. And I got just that. Not super busy but always a little wait to check out. Many great finds have been found here. Would recommend this location to family and friends.

Yelp
This is far by the worse home goods to shop, if you don't want to be profiled for no purpose at all. I stopped by this location to pick up a candle and a bottle of room freshener. I noticed as I was shopping a man appeared to be following me. He followed me up until the point, where I headed toward the front of the store to check out. Since I felt that he made me uncomfortable as well as my shopping experience, I reached out to corporate to complain. I requested that an investigation needs to be started. The store manager followed up with me and explained that their Lost Prevention department, reviewed the camera footage and confirmed there was a man following me. To add, I was told the good news was that it was a man that was a customer that was with his wife. In my opinion that was a bunch of crap. This same man followed me all the way until I got in line to pay for my items. After he thought I was not observing him anymore, he sat down in one of the sofa chairs that was there on display. If he was there with his wife he would have went back to find her. Lastly, during the initial follow up with the manager, she informed me it's against their store policy for their lost prevention dept to follow customers around in the store. I believe the manager did not want me to move forward with filing a complaint to a higher department or filing a discrimination lawsuit against their location. The manager herself should have reviewed the footage instead of relying on lost prevention to conduct an honest investigation. This was unacceptable.

Yelp
FREE PARKING! Now that I have your attention, let me continue to sing this HomeGoods praises. I never leave here empty handed. They always have such a wide selection of everything you could possibly want to make sure your home looks magazine spread ready. The employees here are helpful and kind.

Vivian W.

Yelp
Very nice store. We got two table lamp and one decoration paint there, good price with good quality.

Bonnie E.

Yelp
Just arrived at this location after leaving the one on Clybourn because the parking scene is a you know what... but I can't say those naughty words with Santa on the horizon, ya know?! But somehow this location is now suddenly closed for a deep cleaning at 4 PM with no notice and no reason just "we're closed for the rest of the day." One dude who just showed up - he rented a truck to pick up his items and they won't give them to him. Yikes. I understand there is a pandemic but the customer service could be definitely improved drastically. Like, at least offer a "sorry for the inconvenience thank you for coming by..." if not the reason in fact why did somebody sneeze really hard I wanna know what happened in there! Anywho... off to the suburbs it is! And the funny thing is I was so excited there was a decent parking situation here :-) even got the first spot. Sucker! PS - i'm still sitting here planning my next location and there's people in there still shopping... that's what I don't understand if there's an urgent need for cleaning why are all these people milling around in there?

Miguel M.

Yelp
Often come here to buy either gifts for people or just decorations around the house. Either for inside or outside. The store has plenty of items to choose from, from small things to large furniture. The one thing you need while visiting this place is patience, since it takes time for you to look at their inventory and might find what you like right away, or it might take another visit for you to do so. The prices are affordable and the quality is good. They do have rugs, kitchenware, bathroom, pet clothes, toys, pillows, chairs, stools, mirrors, paintings and the list is long when it comes to decorational items.

Cinthya Q.

Yelp
My favorite Home Goods in the city! Always getting new inventory and has a large selection of home goods, decorations, and lots of furniture. I have furnished and decorated 3 apartments and a single-family home shopping at this Home Goods. Prices are fair and sometimes if you're lucky, you'll get amazing clearance prices for items that have no damage. I highly recommend this as your firsts stop for decoration inspiration.

Stacy W.

Yelp
I was glad before I was even at the store, because I knew that going into HomeGoods was a good idea and I would not leave the place without buying anything. True enough, I really did not. Before that, I just want to share how I like the cleanliness of the place. Even with a lot of stuff inside, it still maintains its cleanliness and everything is well organized. I was hoping to buy wall decors for my place, and I also wanted to buy stuff for my kitchen since I am short on it. As much as I wanted to roam inside the place, the first thing I looked at was my priorities to buy, and I did not regret it. It also did not take long to decide because, even with a lot of options, it is easy to choose since everything is nice and the quality is good. What I like the most is choosing the wall decors, and I had fun choosing because every piece of art is so beautiful. I also saw a lovely and artistic chair. I was glad that I was able to buy everything that I needed and I was also able to add other good things. Everything is of good quality, and the prices are reasonable.

Yelp
This review is really a shout out to the employee Jackson. So HEY MANAGEMENT if you are reading this... JACKSON is a STELLAR employee. I purchased a large entryway bench with storage cubbies. Jackson carried it to the front of the store and helped me load it in the car. I am giving him this shout out as he said after carrying it to the front, let the cashier know you need help loading it into you're car and they will call one of us. So I did that. There was a gentleman that was suppose to help me and he seem preoccupied doing everything else. So I was standing there with my car backed near the door with the flashers on and my frustration growing. Jackson happened to walk by and said oh hey did you need help loading the bench in your car? I said yes! He said ok, let me go grab it for you. I offered to tip him and he refused. I filled out the survey on my receipt hoping to say something nice but there wasn't any area to leave comments. Other things to note about this store. The parking lot on weekends is PACKED. Expect to wait for a spot. This is my go to for oddly pet items. Yes, pet items. They have discounted treats and toys. Who would have thought! For having so much selection the store is pretty clean. I also had to return something that I bought that had been repackage and was on clearance as it was missing the hardware. The staff returned it without any problems. This store has pretty much everything you need but really don't need ;)

Yelp
I stopped by Home Goods on Mother's Day. My thought process was everyone will be out taking their Mothers to lunch. I was wrong! It looked like a 90% off sale!! Shoppers were packed into that store like I've never seen before! This particular location has a ton of stuff! Really cute stuff! I always find something to take home. And the prices are very reasonable. Although the store was jammed with merchandise and people, it remained tidy and organized. I hate going into a discount store and feel like I have to organize a shelf to be able to see what's there before I can shop! The staff is always friendly and helpful. The strip mall also has other stores and restaurants. There is a parking lot and street parking if the lot is full.

Esther M.

Yelp
This HomeGoods is my to go to place when in need of some new decor. The staff is ALWAYS so helpful and have helped me multiple times in taking out heavy items I have bought to my vehicle. I bought a full length mirror once and the older gentlemen that helped bring it to the register saw some fingerprints, went behind the counter brought out cleaning product and began to wipe them away. TALK ABOUT SERVICE!! I wish I would have caught his name. This HomeGoods seems to carry better items but keep in mind that if you see something you like.....buy it!! You won't find it again if you change your mind and decide to come back.

Lisa S.

Yelp
While less stocked than other home stores like Hobby Lobby, this HomeGoods carries products that are of arguably better quality for the same low price. They even carry the sought after Rae Dunn products, which is a major plus! The staff here is always friendly and ensures that the line at the register moves quickly and efficiently. The downside is that during the pandemic they strictly limit the number of patrons who can be inside at a time and as a result the line of people waiting to enter can stretch around the parking lot. That being said, I respect their need to keep guests and staff safe and healthy! I would recommend returning every now and then as their limited stock seems to change fairly regularly.

Yesneli C.

Yelp
Definitely had the worst experience ever, the workers are very rude and disrespectful they didn't want to help me at all. I wouldn't recommend coming here at all.

Jennifer L.

Yelp
Great home goods if you don't have a car If you have a car this home goods is a bit picked over and you might as well go to the burbs

Frances S.

Yelp
Cheap crap. There's way better stuff at Plank Road. Today I couldn't return something I bought a week ago because I didn't have the receipt and Elizabeth wouldn't even give me store credit because they said the price sticker did not match the item. It fucking matched enough when I bought it they had no hesitation taking my money. Never again assholes.

Eva D.

Yelp
This store is super nice and has good quality items. I have been going in here for years now and there are always interesting items. Most of the decors in my place where actually bought from here. On my recent visit to the store, there was a lot of people but it was fine and I was able to shop comfortably. They have a wonderful selection of home decors, furniture, kitchen stuffs and the likes, and even toys. It has a wide selection so there is always a unique one that I can choose. Prices are reasonable too that is why I can't help myself but to buy more. I also got lots of interesting stuffs for holiday season. I recommend this store if you are looking reasonably priced home items.

Jo S.

Yelp
This is my paradise! I wish I could buy everything at the store. I could literally spend the entire day here. Have been looking for a tray to hold my candles so decided to check this place out since I have never been to this location (unfortunately I didn't find what I was looking for). It is a little cramped inside so I had to be really careful that I didn't knock something over. The furniture prices feel a tad bit expensive so it would have to be a special piece for me to buy it.

Sarahí M.

Yelp
I want to leave more stars for this store but the negatives outweigh the positives. will start with Positives: This store is much better organized and stocked than most HomeGoods I've visited in the city and suburbs. I'm always able to find what I came in for and a lot more. The selections, brands and location are great for me as it's close to home. On the negative side: to start off, the employees are so rude! No, they will not be blatantly rude, say anything offensive or raise their voice to anyone. Instead they are very sarcastic, downright condescending and will talk over you. I've lived it and seen it both in store and over the phone. Second, unless you look a certain way, security WILL follow you around in case you decide to make a run for it with anything (not that you can given the size and weight of the items). I understand that loss protection is their job but it is extremely obvious and insulting if you ask me because they employ 2-3 men that you happen to bump into in every single section. Lastly, the parking lot situation is awful, especially if you go on weekends. You're lucky if you find a spot or escape near accidents with other drivers in the lot!

Cely R.

Yelp
I stop by today looking for a cookie spoon Not fined no where. target Kmart Home goods Johans Party city no where !!!! Buy I look all around and all I fined was a torre Eiffel Frames Bags Decor Etc etc Wherever I like the store see you soon

Kelly P.

Yelp
I can do some serious damage in this place! They always have what I need and lots of cute stuff I don't!! Best of all, they're dog friendly so my pug can come along for the ride. (They have cute pet stuff, too!)

Myra A.

Yelp
I love a great deal and Quality. You can always find a range of deals and its never the same. I love this location because larger than the one of Clybourn. If you're looking to decorate, organize, toys, pet accessories, etc this is were you want to go first. I find something new each time.

Jacob J.

Yelp
Have you ever visited a Marshall's before? Discount store on housewares and more. I always wondered if they were a spinoff of TJ Maxx and Marshall's. Looking and reading online, I'm discovering this to be true. The major differences between this Chicago location and suburban locations is the help from service and quality of collections. Some of their employees are armed with that helpful nature found at other Marshall / TJX locations and others well, are armed with an attitude. If living in the city and needing a few items to spruce up the look of your place or add excitement to your pantry, a visit is necessary. My only advice is to try not to spend your whole paycheck in one visit.

Sneha B.

Yelp
THIS PLACE HAS EVERYTHING. And the staff are actually extremely helpful and friendly!!! This location has an incredible selection, come here with ample time (I spent two hours here last time I came). Everyone who works there takes their time to help you find exactly what you need or will figure out if another store has that item. Definitely a go to for home shopping.

Alexis A.

Yelp
I love HomeGoods and the Elston location is my particular "home store". This is a disappointing review because I come here fairly often and have spent a lot of money at this location. Each time I encounter the management team I have a poor experience. I was not planning to write a Yelp review however, the "HomeGoods Customer Service" webpage is currently "unavailable." I would have preferred to have left my review in the hands of corporate. Alas, Yelp is more convenient and I'm still pissed. Almost every time I come in I encounter a particular member of management who "supervises" the registers. I won't identify this person, but after reading the other reviews it's clear that I am not the only customer who's had a problem with this particular employee. Said employee does not seem to enjoy their job. While I feel sympathy for them, it's clear that they do not put forth any effort to make sure that the customer is happy. I had originally purchased an item from a store in the suburbs and came back to the Elston location to return it. I purchased the item without the price tag on it, but it was still listed on my receipt. Since the item did not have a price tag attached, the employee who originally rang me up manually entered an "invalid SKU #." I was unaware of this. Because of the invalid SKU, they refused to give me a refund stating that "it's a bad number and it is not my problem. Go back to the store you got it from." I was shocked. I explained that I don't live anywhere near the store I got it from and that I was in THE RIGHT since it was an unused item, I had my receipt, and it was within the 30 day timeframe. Not to mention, if this wasn't their "problem" - then what is the point of being paid to represent a company? Damn right it's YOUR PROBLEM. I even expressed to them that I understand how taxing retail work is and that if I were in their shoes I would find a way to return the item. I even requested a store credit instead of a refund. After going back and forth with them several times, they finally said "I guess I won't give you any more of a hard time but you'll only be getting a store credit!" It was as if the employee INTENDED to give me a hard time. Why do they hire employees who are "out to get" the customers??? After the "return" I went on to purchase a few other items. As a means to pacify the tension between us I told the employee that "I really appreciate your help." In return, I was completely ignored.

Emilia K.

Yelp
If you're looking for something for your home, this is a great place to start. I'd been all over looking for the perfect glassware. This is where I found it. Not sure why it took me so long to think of Home Goods.

Jessica C.

Yelp
Shopping at a discount house wares store generally involves a certain amount of clutter. You've got to dig around the disorganized shelves to find the good stuff. Some people enjoy that aspect of these stores, likening their bargain search to the thrill of the hunt. I don't really enjoy cluttered shelves and find some stores to be downright gross if the disorganization devolves far enough. This HomeGoods location is the smallest I've ever been in, and located in the most densely populated area to boot. Yet somehow, it is the most impeccably clean and organized discount store I've ever visited. The shelves are always perfectly stocked and every time I come in (which since my move has been about once a week) it seems as if the merchandise has almost completely turned over. I've read other yelpers consistent complaints about disrespectful management. I haven't witnessed it firsthand, but I don't doubt their claims. For me, it's thus far been a positive experience. I hope it continues to be that way.

Kristy B.

Yelp
Ugh, how does this store continue to reel me in for HOURS at a time?! I feel like every time I come here, I end up spending at least $100-200. I never realize how many home items I need until I'm at HomeGoods. This store is so addicting! Also, the staff at this location is so friendly and helpful. I always end up finding little gems here - a cute lamp for my apt, some bath items, candles, pans for cooking and all kinds of bedding items. This is my one stop shop. There are also a lot of cute gift items here! This location has a great selection and is very clean too. Hands down, it's one of my favorite stores.

Samantha P.

Yelp
Love this place! The food is actually so good!! Honestly the best cheese curds I've ever had. The batter is so light and flavorful. I'm not a whiskey fan and I had some of my wife's old fashioned and it was excellent. My nitro beer was great as well. Everything 5 stars!

Rokey T.

Yelp
They have an awesome array of housewares, frames, pillows and even animal items. I never ask for a discount, but during my last trip here I picked up a wooden item that was the last of its kind. It was truly adorable but was undoubtedly warped and chipped in numerous places. I asked the worker if I would be able to get a discount as the item was clearly damaged. He calls the manager(?) over who then says reluctantly, "I can give you 10% off." I said ok that's fine and took no issue with this. It was just over a dollar off. Wow! When she returned from placing a new sticker on it, she began to lecture me about how "we are already a discount store, so we won't be giving additional discounts in the future. Just so you know." Ok... I never argued with her on the price. Frankly, 10% is still a joke because it merely cancels out the tax. But anyway. What I don't understand is, even if you are a discount store, who would pay full price for a clearly damaged item? No one. Just because you already offer a reduced price doesn't mean that a customer should expect to walk out with a broken item. I worked in retail before and frankly if an item is damaged, it can't be sold as if it were brand new. The whole experience was unsettling. However, I'll be back because the candle selection is on point.

Amelia M.

Yelp
This is a great store, you can find there everything you need, from home decor to birthday presents. Prices are very low.

Colleen C.

Yelp
In case you aren't hip to the TJ Maxx hierarchy, lemme break it down for you right quick. TJ Maxx: clothes + kid stuff + home stuff HomeGoods: Owned by TJ Maxx, ALL home stuff. Which, truly makes it magical, as you no longer have to deal with perhaps finding 3 pairs of shoes, a suitcase and 7 dresses you MUST have when really all you needed was a towel or two. Home stuff. GALORE. TJ Maxx style. Which means...brand names, pretty decent prices, and some stellar deals to be had. Ok, then. I came to find the curtains of my dreams. They do not really sell curtains. (sidenote: why are all curtains ugly?) So, my mission was thwarted... But, I still managed to kill AT LEAST 45 minutes. Ogling lamps. Caressing picture frames. Yearning for plush rugs of a million colors. I left empty-handed (SEE, this would've never happened at a TJ Maxx, I promise)...but would definitely be back when in need of some interior sprucing. They've got EVERYTHING, and in abundance. Well laid out, clean, new store, easy parking. It's like my own little strip of suburbia right here. Chain cha-ching!

Stacy Y.

Yelp
HomeGoods is FABULOUS!! It reminds me a lot of Tuesday Morning, but with an even better selection. I briefly browsed the art, bedding, linen side of the store. I saw some cute stuff and the prices were quite reasonable. I spent most of my time in the kitchen accessory section. I just wanted metal, flat skewers so I could grill some kabobs. I found those no problem! As I perused the area some more I found a bunch of things I didn't know I even needed, but I did. Like a professional quality cookie sheet with nice high sides for $7. SEVEN DOLLARS! I will be back for more. I also scored a panini pan with cast iron press. It felt nice and heavy when I got it, but that was all the cast iron press. The pan is a bit light weight and more like the Ikea pans I've been weening out of my cooking supplies. BUT it's not like I'm gonna cook steaks in that sucker, it's all about my egg and thick cut bacon on garlic flat bread paninis. Awww yeah. Bonus, I got a bottle of Giada De Laurentiis balsamic vinegar for 5 DOLLA! Sweet. I didn't even realize this store was open and what it was until a couple months earlier. The super awesome Jessica C. was tired of hearing about my cooking experiments with sub par equipment. For my birthday she got me some fantastic heavy nonstick frying pans (bye bye Ikea pan), a knife and some spice mixes from HG. It was one of the best presents I ever got and it introduced me to my new favorite store, HomeGoods! Aww, how sweet.

Jenna S.

Yelp
This store is amazing. If you're not into the TJ Maxx thing, stay out of Home Goods. There's a TON of stuff in here and you have to really browse and be on the look out to find the pieces you really, really want. Bargain shopping is not for everyone, that's for sure. That said, if you're into bargain shopping, you need to go to Home Goods immediately. They have everything. Housewares, vases, lamps, pillows, quilts, furniture... everything. If you spend some time looking around, you'll find some awesome buys. The parking here can be horrendous, so come early or late in the day (and avoid on the weekends). There's a garage across the street but that also sucks and fills pretty quickly.

Yelp
One of my favorite books when I was around 8 was "Arabian Nights". I loved their mystery, exoticism and luxuriousness...even if I didn't understand everything. For example, why did Aladdin's lamp look like a teapot? Huh? But the one I liked the most was Ali Baba because of the fabulous cave. I was picturing for myself what treasures I would put in there, swearing that my magic password would never be as silly as "Sesame". HomeGoods would be my grown-up version of Ali Baba's cave. It is filled to the ceiling by all sorts of things - some ugly (dog salt and pepper shakes anyone?!?), some wonderful (bright golden pillows that landed on my sofa, thank you very much). Kitchen accessories, plates, gadgets, towels, goodies. Bathroom rugs, soap dispensers, towels, towels, towels. Lamps, frames, mirrors, Buddha heads (spotted in lime green, quite unique), area rugs, wicker baskets, chairs, shelves... Seasonal - seems like Halloween and Thanksgiving are around the corner. So much cheaper than anywhere else. Plus the store is open until 9:30pm (even on Labor Day), and you don't even need a password to get in!

Keyla R.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite HomeGoods (And, I have visited HomeGoods stores in several different states!). There are only two locally that top this one: the one in Streeterville on Ontario street and the one in Naperville off 59. The variety in this store is great and the shelves are ALWAYS chock full 'o stuff. They have one of the best vinegar and oil selections that I have seen and they often get great bedding sets before other stores. If you need housewares, this store is worth a stop at. But, remember that it is a hit or miss type deal. Some days you get lucky and some days you don't. The only negative to this store is the parking situation. Do not try to go on the weekends! And, do not park there, go to HomeGoods then try to go across the street to Panera Bread. I have seen so many sad folks whose cars have been towed! Because the parking is so tight, this is one of the most active tow lots in Chicago. The tow truck guy has a watcher and he parks on the street behind the center. Then, he swoops in, hooks up and is gone. I have watched this happen and it happens FAST! So beware...you have been warned!

Yelp
I love this HomeGoods! It's the best one in the city, it's huge, organized and they always get new stuff in. I constantly find myself here to check out the new stuff and always end up leaving with something great. The dog toys are a steal and the new additional space added to the store is awesome. Since the new add on, they get TONS more furniture!

Yelp
I went to the opening of HomeGoods today and boy was it PACKED. I am praying to the Big Guy that this is just because it is a Sunday and the grand opening. While feeling a bit claustrophobic, I quickly checked out what this HomeGoods has to offer. All in all a very plentiful, nice variety of items. My fav items were some awesome wall hangings and great quality culinary tools (think Kitchen Aid, Rachel Ray, etc). I also found a set of stemless wine glasses that were only $4.99. While I didn't spend much time in this zoo today, I definitely plan on coming back to get some great items for my apartment (and for cheap!!). A bit of advice though - don't go on a Sunday, I got flipped off in the parking lot just trying to defend my right to the spot I was waiting for! Eek!!

Yelp
Wow, what a dump. We thought we'd check this place out as we were looking for some interior items for my daughter's new house. We knew it was a compilation of the home good sections of Marshall's and TJ Maxx but I never imagined that there would be so much absolute junk and a disorganized array of it to boot! I wanted to leave as soon as we set foot in the door - I could tell this was a mistake. And it was. I guess if you're looking for debris to fill up your home you could either go to a garage sale or come to Homegoods. Flip a coin.

Yelp
I truly love this store. It is pretty much what the name implies, it's home goods. Ummm, yeah. Lots of home goods, all at the discounted prices you'd find at the sister stores Marshalls and TJ Maxx. If you need affordable art or photos for your walls, childrens toys, pillows, bedding, kitchen stuff, bathroom stuff, glassware, vases, faux plants, wall decor, garden, lamps, awesome huge rugs, and also some furniture like chairs and accent tables. I spend a long time browsing all their stuff, it is not junk, and the selection is fantastic.

Yelp
Hey Folks - DO NOT SHOP HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE A RIDE. I mean it. Unless you have $250.00 to spare, and a ride. Been a patron at this store for years. Yes parking is tight, yes it is the city, etc., but today with my infant daughter, this store brought humanity to a new low. I hate to sound like the critic who goes after a restaurant for their service, but this truly warrants a warning to all shoppers out there. The monster who runs the shopping center ("Kelly" something?) and parking lot has major karma coming to her. She has a henchman (yikes) who patrols the lot with a walkie-talkie, and the minute you walk off property, he calls the tow company, "Rendered Services Inc." (who drives back and forth between Logan Blvd and Diversey waiting for this call) to nab you and tow your vehicle. Today I grabbed a kids sandwich from Panera on Elston, specifically so she wouldn't make any noise in the store, interrupting the other patrons. I walked back to my spot and it was towed. Being that it was less than 5-10 minutes and that I had items to return to the store, I knew that the staff would help to ensure the car was returned. Not a chance. I was reminded of the "towing policy" with a condescending head tilt from a few employees, and was told by the manager that he was "very, very sorry". I'm sure he was. Behind me, waiting on an uber, was another couple that were caught off guard with almost the same story - waiting to get to an impound lot. Luckily a kind mother named Megan offered me a ride - with car seat - 25 minutes north to the joke of an impound lot. $250 later, and behind another mother and daughter who were nabbed by the same company, I waited in the cold for the same sweetheart to shout "ID NOW!" who had hung up on me 30 minutes ago. This is very concerning. Ive lived in the city for many years now and havent seen this kind of predatory towing - give me a break its a yuppie shopping mall. This is a warning - do not shop here, do not take any risks in this parking lot. Kids or not, people do not have compassion for your situation. I feel so fortunate that a complete stranger took a chance on me, I will pay it forward. And I will never, ever shop here again. The cheap furniture, GNC, and crappy chipotle just arent worth $250.

Yelp
Best HomeGoods I've ever been to. It's new. It's organized. It's big. It's simply TJ Maxx's home section CUBED!* Many brand names from Ralph Lauren, Nautica, KitchenAid, Circulon, and more at moderately discounted prices. GO WILD! * - That's TJ Maxx to the third power, idiot.

Yelp
Love the selection of random odds and ends, after all where can you shop for a couch, sheets, towels, and food items not only for yourself but for your pets too. Prices are good, and despite the pushy cashiers I've had at times I'll still come back. I will management would train their people to recognize the words "no thanks." Are you a member of our rewards program? No, but no thanks, I don't shop here that often. Okay, but you can shop at Marshall's and TJ Max too. Thanks for that but I don't shop there that often either, just not to convenient I live on the south side. We have locations there. Thank you, but I don't shop at those that often. Then: Would you like to donate to ---- Cancer (sorry but I've tuned out from above) No, thank you we donate to charities from home. She gives me my total, you have .82 in change, do you want to round up for the charity. Again, no thank you. I know you want my info, signing up for rewards, I don't need/want the emails, I also know the corporation wants to donate to charities, do they get the write off, that I don't know. The disapproving look when I said, no thank you multiple times, didn't go unnoticed. Perhaps management pressures them to insist, or maybe they get rewarded, something is up with the hard sell. While this exchange is going on the line is growing, and people are getting impatient, thankfully I was paying cash otherwise one can only guess how long it would have taken.
