Homegrown Tap & Dough

We ordered everything on the happy hour menu—and it was all fantastic! Every item was delicious and clearly made with care. The staff was outstanding: friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. You can tell the management runs a tight, thoughtful ship. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!

Tried the Italian Burger, roasted tomatoes, pesto, mozzarela, and balsamic glaze. Sounds weird but it turned out very good, asked for med rare came out med/med well, it happens but it's alright though since the burger was great and all the flavors worked out together. My girlfriend ordered the mushroom pasta, delicious as well, nice sauce. Service was good.

Rather disappointing considering the existing reviews. The food was mediocre at best, the service was acceptable, but not great. The iced tea was incredibly weak and bland, barely stronger than water (the photos show a cola, but not the iced tea, you'll have to trust me on this); the chicken in the chicken parmesan was fine, but the pasta lacked flavor, the gluten-free pizza was oily and had very little toppings, the rustic ranger pizza was okay. Overall, I'd skip this place and try somewhere else; Tap and Dough was a swing and a miss for us.

Was very disappointed in our experience. Menu and photos of the food looked good but no one in our group loved what they ordered. We weren’t greeted by our waiter for 15 minutes which was frustrating. The cocktail I ordered was really bad (some tequila drink). Waiter took it off the bill which was nice but when he cleared the drink, he stood there and took a sip to test it out I guess? Really unprofessional. Ordered the Caesar and two pastas. The baked bolognese was pretty good but the chicken parm was average. Sad when the highlight of the meal was a basic Caesar. Don’t think we’ll be going back. Mostly because of the service.

My boyfriend and I went to Homegrown in the Wash Park area and I am not exaggerating when I say it is one of the top 3 meals I have ever eaten. We ordered the meatballs for an appetizer and they were outstanding! I ordered the sausage mushroom pasta and I could not stop talking about it. Even the cheese bread I'd give 7 thumbs up. Our amazingly sweet and awesome waitress Ali was a Rockstar and had nothing but positive things to say about her restaurant. I would go back every day if I could afford it. Also, the prices were phenomenal. We would have paid more! See you soon, Homegrown Tap 😃🤗🥰🫡

First we were seated without silverware. Then our server asked us for drinks and immediately walked away when we were ready to order. Then when my friend ordered an appetizer and proceeded to start his food order the server literally walked away while he was talking. He also had to complain because his soda was flat (which to our server's credit she removed from our bill). When we finally did get to place our order. It was one of the most plain burger patties I've ever had at a sit down restaurant. The charring on it was great but aside of that there was no flavor.

Nice family restaurant in olde town. They have a free arcade for the kids and a sweet patio. The garage doors are so convenient. You can see they kids in the arcade while enjoying a cocktail on the patio. They also have this super cute gondola that has been turned into a table. Perfect for date night! Staff is always friendly and the food is amazing!

Our first time at this location! The happy hour menu is incredible, we literally ordered one of everything. Our server Robin was very friendly, attentive and professional. The GM Micah came out to make sure everything was phenomenal as well and told us about the Second Saturday concerts! We will be back!
