Homestead Manor’s Charming Restaurant Is Closing This Weekend - Eater Nashville

"The owner of downtown staples Puckett’s Grocery and Deacon’s is shutting down Harvest at Homestead, the quaint Southern-style restaurant tucked inside the historic Homestead Manor. The 1800s-era home-turned-restaurant emerged as a Thompson’s Station dining destination in recent years under owner A. Marshall Hospitality’s watch, integrating ingredients plucked from its on-site farm. CEO Andy Marshall says the decision to close comes as his group shifts attention on expanding its existing portfolio." - Tierney Plumb

Where to Celebrate Oktoberfest in Nashville - Eater Nashville

"Down in Thompson’s Station, Homestead Manor is getting into the stein-lifting spirit with their first-ever Oktoberfest shindig on October 6. Over 30 breweries will fill the venue’s event barn along with German-style eats (think: pork sausage meatballs, sauerkraut and pretzel bites) prepared by the Manor’s executive chefs, Puckett’s Grocery, Puckett’s Boat House, and Scout’s Pub. Hattie Jane’s Creamery will also be channeling their inner Bavarian at the event with beer-infused ice cream to cap off the night." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones

This is where you will find 1819 coffee ☕️, it is just a wonderful place to have coffee, with a fried or a quite moment for yourself, so full of charm ,I once met an author, and an Artist in the same morning. Another morning, I met a wonderful couple with their family that had just gotten married. Also they have beautiful Art for sale around the shop , it is nice to see the talent displayed in their Art. Come , and enjoy!

This is one of the most unique places we've visited. You will be hard pressed to find a better night out. Our server Grace gave us an incredible tour and history of the property. We went with a group of four, there wasn't a bad bite of food to be had. The glass bar is an incredible place to lounge, or for something really incredible check into the chef's table in the basement. Do not miss out on this place.

We hosted our daughter’s reception at Homestead Manor on 8/23/25. The property is absolutely stunning—the manor itself is perfect for an elegant celebration. Their table setup crew did a great job as well (just note there’s an additional $500 fee for setup of table and chairs). The event itself was filled with fun and joy, and we loved celebrating with friends and family. The reason for my 3-star rating is the management experience. The venue manager was rigid and difficult to work with from the start—not just with us, but with our vendors as well. This created unnecessary stress during what should have been an enjoyable planning process. For example: We were scheduled to access the property at 4 p.m. for a 6 p.m. start time. I requested an extra 15–30 minutes since nothing else was happening at the venue that day. The answer was a firm “no” unless we paid extra. Our DJ needed 2.5 hours to set up (a standard request, according to them), and that was also denied, even though the venue was empty. We rented chairs from an outside vendor for delivery the morning of the reception. When I notified the manager, she asked why they couldn’t come just an hour before we got access. Unfortunately, I don’t control vendor routes. She also refused to let the chairs be stored under the canopy for protection when pickup couldn’t happen until Monday. Her solution? Require a late-night pickup at 11 p.m.—which most companies won’t do without a big extra fee. We had to stack the chairs on the lawn and buy a heavy tarp in case of rain. Bottom line: The property is gorgeous, and the event itself turned out beautifully, but be prepared for a very inflexible and unpleasant management experience. I would recommend Homestead Manor for its aesthetics—but expect added headaches when it comes to working with the manager.

The atmosphere here is amazing as are the food and drinks. I would encourage you to check out the bar out back. It's so beautiful. Also check out the music room for dinner or brunch. We also considered this as a wedding venue. Their events coordinator is unbelievable. He is so helpful and cheerful and works overtime to make sure you are comfortable. His experience put us at ease and his responsiveness and professionalism were encouraging. I'd recommend homestead for any of these services and for just being a pretty place.

We had a charity event at this venue. I was in charge of decor for the outside of the manor and some of the inside. I did not work with the venue coordinator but it seemed a bit restrictive. It was extremely frustrating (and stressful) to not be able to decorate inside the manor (which is used as a coffee shop) until 4 hours prior to the event (25 minutes from my house) and be back in time. However, that being said, it's a stunning event space. There are 2 entrances. I'm not sure how well it worked with valet yet to be able to funnel everyone through the manor first but I assume okay. We used the manor as the event entrance to display info about the organization and check everyone in to give them their table assignment and other event administrative information. They walked through the manor, out through the back coutyard and down the gravel drive to the barn where we had the silent auction and cocktail hour. The dinner was on the lawn behind the barn. We had 300-400 guests. On a side note, we had a coffee bar set up (through their onsite coffee house), and the coffee was delicious! I was very impressed!

This is a very cozy spot to have dinner and drinks. A tour of the antique house is available. Tables are set up in each themed room. More dining is available in upstairs rooms, and also a large balcony, where there is comfy patio furniture and a porch swing. We brought our drinks to the balcony and enjoyed the fresh air. We ate in the sunroom bar beside the house, which is mostly glass with nice views. It offers the full menu, as well. Weddings are held on the property and parking was very full from wedding guests. The parking area is not paved and this place is kind of hard to spot while driving. Overall, the food menu did not have alot of options to choose from and was slightly pricey. They do make specialty cocktails. I tried three different ones and enjoyed each one.

Great place to meet up for social or business meetings. Nice little coffee shop with quiet areas. It's definitely a venue for weddings and other events. Also, it has a barn worship hall. I love it ❤️

I photographed a wedding here and there are so many beautiful spots to take photos! The ceremony under the tree with the manor in the background was beautiful.
