"A comfort food meets healthy-ish cuisine at breakfast spot owned by former Florida Gator football player Carlos Dunlap, this eatery serves up eight different styles of eggs benedict, waffles, pancakes, and even vegan scrambles for lunch, while lunch consists of a wide variety of sandwiches, wraps, bowls, and salads. And yes, honey is the topping of choice at the eatery — but not the only option." - Eater Staff

This place stars are off the chart. The ambiance, customer service, food, and the owners personality are all in line with top level dining. My good friend and I visited on 7/31/22, and our server Marlo was truly a breath of fresh air, full of personality, yet a professional demeanor... to top it off, her food recommendations did not disappoint us. The menu was so tempting and our order was almost endless...we ordered the shrimp and grits, salmon and grits, catfish, banana French toast, macaroni and cheese, and the regular French toast. Might I add, every selection was absolutely delicious. To end our visit, we had the pleasure of speaking to the owner. He was pleasant, welcoming, and I can see why his establishment is a success. Keep up the wonderful work Honey Uninhabited. I look forward to a return visit. I hope you consider opening one in Miami Gardens. I was attempting to add an additional review but couldn't find the option, I returned to this lovely establishment on 9/24/22, for my sister's birthday and of course, the food, service ( by Claudia W.) and ambiance were phenomenal. I also laughed and took a photo with my first time server (Marlo)...I truly love this place.

One of my favorite brunch spots! The decor is dope and almost every corner has wonderful art pieces. The food is more than enough to share with others. Everything tasted as wonderful as it looked. Loved the photo oops as well and the staff were nice enough to take them and get the angles wanted. Sat outside until it started to rain, the awning didn’t do the best at keep it out so we moved inside, still the ambience was fun and lively. If you’re looking for a place to meet up with friends, have great food, take dope pics, and take dope pics look no further!!!

This little bistro-style restaurant is the perfect choice for brunch if you love soul food, breakfast & booze. The menu is curated with those themes in mind and executed to consistency and perfection. We made a day of reservation on Christmas Eve for two. We were able to get the table but do make a reservation in advance. The way this place is popular among those who know, you'll have to wait if you don't take that extra step. Our table was waiting for us when we got there early but was in the breeze of the door, so when asked we were given the option of the bar and we took it. The menu options are delectable and we chose the Sweet Chick & Waffles and Gullah Shrimp & Grits. Two dishes that rely on perfect execution for success. They also have French Toast, Red Velvet pancakes and Braised Short Rib & Grits that are also selections that will not disappoint. Here's the thing: there kitchen must be a well-oiled machine. Because the food looked like the pictures on the menu and tasted how they looked while serving a full house with turning tables. They know what they're doing. Customer service was quite pleasant and Marlo was a charmer. Ask for her section when you reserve, you won't be disappointed. Just know she will tempt you with all the special items that aren't on the menu! When it comes to beverages, they have great lemonade that pair well with vodka or tequila is boozy brunch is your thing but they also have solid coffee. The grits were creamy and the seasoned shrimp succulent. The juicy chicken was fried to order and the waffle was made of a vanilla cake batter. The Creme de la Creme French Toast, which was gifted to us (maybe because we were first timers, idk) was a delight and the fresh mixed berries cut the sweetness expertly. I am already planning a group return in January with a plan to introduce my foodie friends to this place and I know that when family comes to visit, I will be bringing them here. Honey Uninhibited is my new brunch destination heading into 2023 and it should be yours too! A Plus Recommends with a vote of confidence for anything on the menu.

Google
Really great spot for more upscale breakfast. My avocado Benny was probably the best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. Cheese grits were super flavorful. Chicken and waffles was amazing!! Perfect amount of food. As previously mentioned by other reviewers, they do have a $4 table charge for the special water they serve. Our waitress Marlo was very attentive, informative and gave us a great experience. Would definitely come back.

This place has been on my bucket list for a while. Last year I tried to go there but it was too packed and the waiting time was too long so we left. On Sunday I went there with my friends for one of my guy friend's birthday our server was super amazing. Her name was Keisha, she was nice gave us great food recommendations to try and the food did taste good. We had a great time, the bathroom was clean and the background music was good. This was a good place was worth going there the only problem was the price, it was a little bit too high but I will come back here to give another chance.

I love love LOVED this place. I came here with a friend for brunch on a Friday and it was the best decision we ever made. We didn't have a reservation but we didn't have to wait long for a table. We chose to sit outside since the weather was so great. The atmosphere is very nice, it's not too loud, it's clean, and the service was friendly. I ordered the butter half french toast and it was incredible. The portion was generous and the presentation was very eye catching. The peanut butter inside the french toast was unique and delicious. There were slices of banana on the plate which added the perfect touch. My friend ordered a breakfast plate with eggs, potatoes,.bacon, and some toast. It was standard fare but well done. I will definitely come back here next time I'm in Miami!

I was visiting Miami during Labor Day weekend. I searched for a brunch venue and stumbled on to Honey. I was pleasantly surprised with my experience there. The restaurant was packed but I was able to walk in and have Brunch within 20min. The French Toast, Bacon, and Shrimp n Grits were all excellent. The service from the Hostess, Bartender and Server were all impeccable. I would absolutely come back on my next trip to Miami. This is a destination restaurant for me now.

Yelp
Pretty solid brunch spot. Good chicken and waffles (if you know you know I am a chix & waffle connoisseur ) . The lavander lemonade is TO DIE FOR... Honestly my favorite part of the whole meal. Good ambience. Service was alright, a bit slow but expected. Thank you Honey Uninhibited!

Yelp
We have been eyeing this place for about a year and we finally got the chance to go! This restaurant is definitely known for flavors and comft with food. Parking is not a big deal as there is some street meter parking and a parking lot because it is in a shopping center. I do recommend making a reservation ahead of time as with walk in you will have a wait We tried the challah berry French toast, chicken and waffles, and short rib Benedict and every single item was perfection. Challah berry French toast is 19$ but it is stuff with cream and fresh berries every where. So amazing and not even to sweet and the sweetness level is perfect for this dish. I know it's a brunch item but it taste better than desserts. Chicken and waffles. I absolutely love!!! Crunch in every bite and they give u a hot honey on the side to mix with the maple syrup. A guilty pleasure. Short rib Benedict, has to be beyond the best and unique Benedict we ever had. The short rib sat on a perfect round grits cake and a perfect about of soft, melt in your mouth short rib with a beautiful poached egg on top. It was so filling and just delicious. This will run you $25 but we'll worth it. Lee was our server and he was very sweet and kept a smile on the whole time. Absolutely enjoyed ourself here and we left smiling!

Yelp
I went to this restaurant on a Sunday morning and it was PACKED (great thing) and I had a lot of food restrictions since I was on a cleanse but they went above and beyond to give me exactly what I needed. There was great music, the service was amazing and my friends food looked BOMB!!! and they were very big portions. There is a big lot outside for the plaza but get there early so you fan find parking. Would love to come back soon!

Yelp
This place is an awesome place for brunch! Love the outdoor seating and great/attentive staff. The food: *Jalepeno honey cornbread- warm cornbread with a drizzle of honey and a sweet butter! Ask for extra butter it's so good *chicken thigh-stole the show! Perfectly juicy chicken and crispy on the outside *DIY omelet- solid choice! You can pick three toppings and pay extra if you want more. I substituted fruit. Check-in on Yelp for a free beverage!

Yelp
This place is amazing. Our short rib Benny super delicious. The meat was very tender and had a homemade taste. The egg and the meat lay on grits. At first, we thought the grits was bread due to its shape and crunchiness on the outside. The creme de la cream french toast had berries on top. Amazing taste and not too sweet. The place is packed so make a reservation. Our server was great and attentive despite its busyness. The place itself feels very urban. Definitely will be back.

Yelp
Came to Honey Uninhibited on a Friday around lunch time. Had an 11am reservation and thankfully it wasn't too crazy. We were quickly seated. It didn't appear busy but we ended up waiting about 10 mins for a server to acknowledge us and bring us water. Not the biggest issue but def something I wanted to mention to the restaurant, especially for patrons who don't have as much patience. Once our server came, everything was good! She was kind, made some great recommendations and everything was delivered in good time. She was fantastic and very knowledgeable on her recommendations. We had a bunch of things including the expresso martini, French toast, Mac & cheese with short rib. Everything was delicious and I would def recommend this space for anyone in the area. The ambiance was great. They played a 2000's r&b playlist which brought me back! They have ample indoor and outdoor seating.

Yelp
Came here with the family early Saturday morning (9 am). We had no trouble making last-minute reservations, but most people are not eating that early on! It was relatively empty early on, but was packed by 10 am. The atmosphere is lively and they have a great playlist! The coffee was fantastic. The staff was very accommodating to any allergies and intolerances and happy to make adjustments to any dishes. We had a wide variety of dishes from eggs, grits, and sweets and everything was fantastic. If you can snag a table, this is a great place to visit!

Yelp
5 star food, 5 star service, 5 star ambience. Glamorous Southern comfort food cafe adjacent to Brickell. I knew up in a tiny place in the Deep South so know first-hand my Southern food...these folks get it exactly right and it tastes like my grandmother's cooking (although Gran never made a cappuccino in her entire life : ) 5 star food: The menu leans heavily on Southern comfort food classics. Their chicken and waffles is a great place to start (although I read somewhere that chicken and waffles is an LA invention LOL). The waffle is tender and chewy with a crisp edge and the chicken is fantastic by itself. Their coffee also tastes incredibly fresh, like it might have been roasted and ground right there by the table. 5 star service: Like my gran, I can be intrusively social at times. The staffers here are just as chatty as me, and a couple of them were extremely funny. The orders were prompt and correct, plus the special bonus of morning comedy. 5 star ambience: The location is Brickell adjacent (just under the I-95 overpass on the way to Coral Gables), so it manages to be convenient while not being right in the heart of Brickell hipness, both good things. Inside it feels warm and welcoming.

Yelp
Came here for lunch after running errands. It's been on my list for a while, so I'm glad I was able to make it. It was a week day so it wasn't as busy but there was still a decent sized crowd. I decided to sit at the bar. Everyone at the restaurant seem so nice. I ordered the truffle mac & cheese alongside the chicken & waffles. I opted for red velvet waffles, and let me tell you... I wasn't a fan of the chicken and red velvet waffle together. They both can stand on their own but together the flavors didn't mesh well. It could be because of the way the chicken was marinated. I'll definitely be back.

Lindsey C.

Yelp
Ordered the Short Rib Benny and the Créme De La Creme. Both meals were awesome! The Short Rib Benny had lots of flavor and I love that the grit cake it comes with didn't get too soggy even with the runny eggs. Really enjoyed how tender and well seasoned the meat was. The Créme De La Creme is an excellent choice for those with a sweet tooth! Even though it was pretty sweet, it wasn't as sweet as I was expecting it to be. The fresh berries on top tasted great and I was pretty happy with the portion size too.

Yelp
Good food and good vibes! Words that could only describe a great place like Honey Uninhibited. Back in February during a week long girls trip, my 4 friends and I stopped by to fill our bellies prior to boarding a cruise. I found the restaurant via a Google search of top brunches in the area, then made a reservation for 10am on a Sunday. We arrived shortly after a rain shower. It wasn't too packed, but there were a significant amount of people dining. We were immediately greeted by the hostess then seated inside. The restaurant decor is trendy with a colorful and modern vibe. There are a few photos opps including a lit "Beez in the Trap" sign and a painting of Tupac. Plenty of seating inside, as well as covered seating area outside. I can't remember if there was a live DJ however, there was some great old school and new hip/hop and R&B playing. Within a few minutes of being seated, we were greeted by our server, Marlo. We viewed the menus via our phone. The menu features classic American brunch dishes, some with a southern comfort flare. The drink menu is also cute and features some honey inspired names like "Beez in the Trap" and "Honey Punch". All fitting for the theme of the restaurant. I started off my meal with a Bellini peach puree mimosa. It was delicious and smooth with just the right amount of sweetness. For my meal, I went for the sweet chick n waffles. Food and drinks were up within minutes. In fact, whenever we order additional items, they were up within minutes. Everything was piping hot and displayed nice. Firstly, the texture of my waffles were exactly how I prefer them - slightly crispy and thick. The flavor was sweet and rich like they added vanilla to the batter, something I particularly enjoyed. The chicken seemed to be a boneless thigh breaded and fried. The seasoning was on point and the chicken was juicy and tender with a nice crispy texture. It was served with a spicy honey maple syrup which was not spicy at all, perhaps a tiny kick, but nothing overpowering and it paired well with the waffle. You'd be fine with or without it honestly. My friends all had a variety of dishes which I personally can't speak on however, I wanted to point out that Honey Uninhibited offers vegan dishes, one of which my friend ordered (the vegan banana toast) and enjoyed thoroughly. The basis of this girl's trip was to celebrate both my birthday and another friend who was present on the trip. Marlo went the extra mile to provide us with complimentary shots! It was such a surprise and deeply appreciated. We both felt so special! In addition to all of this, they had a photographer present, who went around taking photos of patrons. She took a wonderful group photo of my friends and I. The photos are $20 however, it comes with a frame and the quality is great. Although a little pricey, given the special occasion, we purchased it with no regrets. Above all, staff were kind, attentive, and helpful. Marlo especially, was very sweet and personable. Being from New York City, we were curious about the Miami culture such as mannerism and slang. We ended up exchanging funny stories with Marlo about things she's heard about New Yorkers, and things we've heard about Miami natives. It felt like we were all friends. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. It seems like an ideal place to catch up or celebrate a special occasion with friends or family. It can be a bit loud with the music, so I wouldn't say it's ideal for a date, it's more like a boozy brunch with a mild turn up. Pricing is moderate with most dishes costing a less than $30. 18% gratuity is automatically included. I spent less than $35 for such a wonderful brunch. Thank you so much to Marlo and the rest of the staff for starting our girls trip off on an amazing foot! I would highly recommend to others and I'll definitely be returning!

Yelp
Short ribs and grits were very good and very well flavored . I also enjoyed the honey punch as will I want able to take of the food but managed to take a pic of the drink which was very fruity and up to my liking if your more of a hard drinker I would say seek something with henny it in

Yelp
This was my first time at Honey Uninhibited and it was a nice experience. I wasn't too happy about my reservation table not being available and waiting 15 mins past my reservation time. I reserved an indoor table and was sat outside and informed only after asking that there was no available tables in doors for my reservation. The waitress was so nice. Loved her energy. I forgot her name but she made the experience great. The presentation of the food was great. The taste was good. The drinks were nice. I loved that they at least acknowledged my little note on my reservation about it being my birthday. I got a cute Happy birthday serenade. The overall experience was great minus the reservation seating/timing. I would return. Cute spot.

Summer J.

Yelp
Black owned brunch spot in Miami. Really cute and hip decor. They have a few photo moments throughout as well, starting at the entrance. It's not one of those places where it's all cute for the gram and the food is bad. The food is so yummy ! Service could've been better though. It was a slow day and we were one of 4 tables dining yet it seemed as though it was a full house because of the wait. Our server was friendly however. If you're looking for a good brunch spot this should definitely be on your list. Don't sit outside unless you're covered up because those mosquitoes will eat you up.

Yelp
I came for the first time this past weekend for brunch and a birthday celebration. Here are a few things to keep in mind when going. 1. Parking is a bit challenging since there are not enough parking spaces in the lot. Luckily, there's street parking around the area 2. You and your party will only be seated if ALL your party members are present. 3. Checks can only be split at most into 4's, and that's splitting the total, not by what each party ordered. 4. Get ready to have fun, enjoy great music, take lots of photos and videos, and remember to take pictures of the food and drinks for sharing on YELP! Our server was fantastic. The food and drinks were delicious! We all ordered different things. Everything was delicious, from the lobster mac n cheese to the chicken and waffles and red velvet pancakes! You can't go wrong with your choice. I definitely plan on coming back here again!

Ronald l.

Yelp
Reserve a table before coming and you won't wait food is very good all made from scratch and definitely try the jalapeño corn bread

Ahmard R.

Yelp
I heard of this place and had to try it. Very good food and the drinks was great. Service was excellent and our server explained every dish we asked about. He stated he was from Delaware just like us. The ambiance was beautiful. We were celebrating our honeymoon and it was lovely.

Ashley T.

Yelp
CLOSED!!! Don't go, it's shut down. So sad and really wanted to try it. Waaaaaaahhhhhhh

Briana E.

Yelp
Good food and good vibes! My husband and I went on a Sunday for brunch, and it was packed. We sat at the bar to avoid waiting 20 minutes on a table. Food and drinks were a little pricey, but was expected considering the location. Love that this place is black-owned and a staple in the community! Definitely recommend visiting enough times to try everything on the menu.

Crystal F.

Yelp
Warning!!!!! This place be packed. So be prepared to wait. Plus side it's worth the wait and they have bar area. Parking is limited but available. It's located in a small shopping plaza. Parking is there and across the street parking. I came for brunch. Checked in and was told it's a 25 minute wait. Which I already guessed since the line was long. I was told I would receive a text message when the table was ready. I decided to sit in my car until it was ready. Greatest thing about the check in was your able to see how many ppl are in front of you. It also estimates how much time you have left to be seated. The drinks was the bomb and so was the food. I'm not a fan of milky grits. So I didn't like that but it was edible. I wouldn't get the grits again. I could still taste the milkiness even with the shrimp and sauce on it. Great job on everything else. They also had good music.

Nisha I.

Yelp
This was the best brunch food I've ever had in my life. Back in Dallas, I wish I could go back to Miami to eat more of this. The short ribs were braised for over four hours. It was tender and flavorful. The Benny portion of it tasted like grits. The waffle was soft and so sweet and complemented the chicken really well shrimp and grits were so good. 100% recommend this place.

Cherry L.

Yelp
Wanted to go to a brunch place and Miami and this was highly recommended. We got the truffle Mac and cheese, chicken and waffles eggs Benny, and the creme French toast. Everything came up to $60 including tax and tip. We also got the fresh squeezed orange juice from the Yelp check in. Overall, the food was very good! The chicken and waffles had a delicious honey chili sauce to go with it and the eggs Benny was delightfully runny. The French toast was also very good with large portion sizes. My partner enjoyed it and cleared his plate. The truffle Mac and cheese was the only reason why I'm deducting one star. For us it just tastes like normal mac and cheese with some spices at the bottom for sauce, no hint of truffle flavor or taste at all which was strange. Overall, solid place for food and would definitely come again!

Rachel G.

Yelp
What a brunch experience! We called ahead to grab a quick reservation for our party of 7, and got seated inside safe from the rain. Our server, Tinaya, was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had on the menu. The sweet chick benny was to die for! The chicken was seasoned perfectly and succulent - the best match for a fluffy waffle and poached egg, with drizzled spicy honey and syrup. Loved the ambiance as well - many birthday celebrations and energetic staff made our experience lively. Don't forget to yelp check in for the free beverage!

Janine M.

Yelp
********* SCAM ********** I WISH I would have sorted the reviews from worst to best instead of just reading because if I had, I wouldn't have gone to this establishment. My son and I visited earlier today and I ordered water. I was told it would be $4. So I inquired about lemonade $8 no refills. Coke. $5 no refills. So we both had water for $4 each. First scam. Other restaurants happily give water for free. My son ordered basic French toast. He received 1 piece of bread. They really ought to be embarrassed about this. I was embarrassed for suggesting to my son that we come here. I ordered Gullah shrimp and grits. Grits were tasteless with cheese added on top that did not add any flavor. Shrimp were ok but not at all worth it. I also had a side of the cornbread. As someone else mentioned, the server read our order and verbally told us the total without mentioning the included gratuity so I ended up giving her double. I would like the owner to contact me about a refund because I was not informed of the included gratuity. The food isn't good, it's overpriced, not enough, flavorless, and unscrupulous tactics are used to get more money out of people. Avoid this place so you won't be mad after a horrible experience.

Abigail C.

Yelp
Firs time here!! Service was amazing. Havi (server) I just want to say did an amazing job. Very knowledgeable of the menu and gave great service. I was offered a FREE DRINK coupon through Yelp and it was accepted. With the one free drink coupon my husband was able to enjoy their pineapple juice. Definitely a place I recommend. Portions are big! I will enjoy my left overs later.

Raymond Y.

Yelp
One word EXCELLENT! They tout scratch kitchen and it shows. Simply declious, would recommend this spot all day every day My friend was craving chicken and waffles and after a disappointing attempt the day before. He was drilled to get an awesome chicken and waffles that he devoured lol The short ribs was super tasty but a little on the pricey side The side of their smoked sausage was fantastic Side order of two eggs was only $3 dollars especially considering how much eggs cost today. OMG I have no other words. Their Jalapeno Honey Cornbread is out of this world.

Iman J.

Yelp
Very chill brunch black owned restaurant in Miami. The service is excellent and the food is very good.

Sandra M.

Yelp
The french toast was delicious and it was definitely a great vibe. I tried the grits and it was also good but the waffle wasn't so good. The fried chicken is great and next time I will get the chicken sandwich. This spot is worth trying you won't go wrong.

Shaquanda M.

Yelp
Loved it! We did not go on the weekend so there was no crowd. We sat outside on the patio and the weather was beautiful. Waiter was extremely patient cause we did not know what to order we just knew we were hungry. He also honored my yelp check in offer for a free juice for me and my sis. I had a reservation but canceled because we were late and didn't know what time we would actually show up there. It did seem like they preferred us to have reservations though but she still seated us because there wasn't a lot of people there. I got the French toast, chicken sausage and cheese grits. All of it was good. Oh and they have a cute area for pics, the hostess was nice enough to take our pics before we left. Would def go back and try something else on the menu.

Lovette J.

Yelp
this is definitely a hotspot for Sunday brunch or if you're just looking for a spot to eat out. When we arrived, it was already packed so we had to wait a good 20 minutes to be seated which was totally fine. It was Sunday. We already knew that it was probably going to be a wait. for brunch I have the sweet check which is their chicken and waffles and a cup of hot chocolate. I did have to ask for more syrup and I wasn't a fan of the sweet chili sauce that was provided so I didn't really use it for the chicken or the waffles. Overall I give this place a eight out of 10 and if I'm ever in Miami again I'd love to give it another go!

Amanda W.

Yelp
This place is such a vibe! The food is delicious! Literally everything I saw that came out of the kitchen was mouth-watering. First time there and I absolutely loved it. Very lively establishment, great music, and a great atmosphere.

Carmen S.

Yelp
Atmosphere. It really is a laid back vibe. Staff. Super friendly and attentive staff. Javier was a joy to interact with. He had us laughing with his sarcasm. I would legit go back just to have him as my server. The best. Drinks. Good. We tried the Mimosa and the Peach Bellini. Standard Brunch Goodness. Brewed American coffee was not good I tried to save it with sugar and cream. He didn't make it. Flatlined. The iced coffee was standard. Food. Once again, the Chicken & Waffle Benny looked amazing! I should have gotten that. Point to note, the egg white on the poached egg is a little gelatinous and not like a typical poach. Or maybe it was cooked softly. IDK. But the texture was different and friend was not a fan. I got the Gullah Shrimp & Grits. Shrimp were large and cooked perfectly. I just wish that for almost $30, there were more than 4 shrimp. The sauce was savory and very tasty. It set the dish off. The grits were restaurant grits. I wanted homemade, diner-type grits. I played myself. They were extra creamy and seasoned fine and the crust of cheese was a unique. And actually good. Coins. 22% tip automatically added. Just to let you know. All in all....a very pleasant brunch experience. I will be back to try the other items like the Peach and Red Velvet Waffles.

Yelp
Finally got to check out Honey Uninhibited for brunch. It's got a nice atmosphere and chill vibe with good music playing overhead. It's a great spot to get together with friends and loved ones... but make sure to go early! Honey Uninhibited is a southern styled restaurant in the heart of Miami. Honey offers indoor and patio dining to fit your preference. The food was great and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The manager checked in with us to make sure everything was great multiple times which is always welcomed. Honey is located in a smaller shopping plaza so there is usually a lot of parking but as there are other businesses there please keep that in mind. There is also street parking available should you not be able to find a spot in the plaza. They are open daily from 9am to 4pm but if you are planning to go on the weekends please keep in mind that it does get packed as the day goes on so try to arrive early.

Yelp
-Parking lot on-site or street parking available. -Cute, bee-inspired aesthetics -Food was good! I had the French toast and a side of fried eggs.  -Staff was friendly and approachable -Music was EVERYTHING! They played R&B songs that hit back then, and still hit today. Found myself singing most of the time, and dancing in my seat. The music did get a little loud. I had to speak loudly over the music in order for the person to hear me across the table. -Get there early (like before 10am on weekends). We got there around 9:30am and slowly watched the line build outside as we ate. They had tall tables on one side for standing room while people waited for a table. They do not take reservations.  -A bit pricey. I had 3 drinks (two cocktails in small glasses and a mimosa) and it was around $50. The drinks were good though! -I think a service charge was included. (I say "think" because I didn't get an itemized recieipt and after I left, remembered past reviews here on Yelp mentioning it). I split the bill with a friend. Our server told me my portion to pay and then ran my card through a handheld credit card device. I think I tipped on top of the added service charge so just be cognizant of this. All in all, it's a nice vibe. I'll be back!

Yelp
My girls and I decided to head over to Honey for Sunday brunch. Absolutely loved the vibe! --90's r&b playing in the background, instagram worthy backgrounds and mouth watering menu. The parking lot is also super convenient. Unfortunately they do not take reservations, however when you are waiting online to approach the hostess there is a makeshift bar where a bartender is there to pour you a mimosa while you wait! Our number one rule during brunch is that everyone needs to order something different that way we can all share the food and the experience. It was a packed Sunday but the service was pretty slow. We ordered drinks, then apps then food... but not everyone's drink came out (just a mimosa) at the same time, also some of the apps came after the food was served. --the food came pretty spaced out. I highly recommend the jalapeño honey cornbread...the whipped honey butter is amazing! The braised short rib with cheese grits was also fire! I'd like to say I'm a Mac and cheese guru, however the lobster Mac and cheese was not it. Noodles were dry and the lobster looked more like a prawn.

Yelp
Alyssa G. our waitress was an extreme pleasure! Super prompt and helpful when ordering. When we arrived for Sunday brunch there was like a 15 minute wait so we went to the bar and ordered a drink. What I thought was amazing service was a busser accidentally bumped my friend coming out of a door while we were standing around waiting for a table. A bit of her drink spilled - not a ton. Once we were seated the busser made it a point to come over and apologize again and offer to top off her mimosa. There wasn't that much missing so we declined but I thought that was super sweet and thoughtful. 1000 points on service here. Ambiance is dope - kind of wish there was more of a brunch vibe with music but perhaps that's not the vibe they're going for. The menu had a lot of great options - I got the short rib & truffle Mac/cheese. The short rib was very well cooked. The truffle Mac & cheese had literally no truffle. That sucked. I kind of wish I got the grits or something else but it was fine - made for good leftovers I'd return if a friend reallyyyyy wanted to go. I was a bit antsy you couldn't make reservations - we didn't have a long wait but the food wasn't thaaaat wonderful for me to risk it next time. If the food was AMAZING, I'd risk it. I'd much rather prefer somewhere particularly when it comes to brunch that I can make reservations

Yelp
This is a nice little chill spot. Locals come to have brunch here. Nice drink options. Be aware that most restaurants in Miami add a 18% gratuity on the bill automatically. A lot of people were complaining about this. I think it's great, at least these employees are guaranteed a tip. Keep up the good work.

Yelp
Cute little brunch spot with nice service and pretty presentation. Food and drink quality okay and prices a little high considering. First come first serve seating. Entire party must be present. We arrived at 10:30 on a Sunday and were seated with no wait, but at one of the last available tables, so I could see a wait coming any later. Our server was nice and at one point the sweet kitchen staff came out and gave us a dish on the house when they made too many. Note base prices are medium-high and they add a fairly high service charge (I think 22%?) to your check. I like that they pay a living wage, but maybe just build it into the prices at that point? And where are those base prices going? Coffee tasted odd and syrupy on the first cup I got. My refill tasted normal so I think this was maybe a mixup. Avocado benedict was underwhelming flavor and size wise. The fruity french toast was delicious and well presented though. Nice to have a brunch option in this neighborhood, which is largely residential. Would come back if I'm really committed to not going far, but might otherwise journey out for slightly better food for the price.

Yelp
What a sweet little spot, pun intended. Located on Coral Way, with easy parking in a shopping center. A friend and I went on a Sunday at noon and were sat within 10 minutes even though they were packed. I wouldn't recommend larger groups simply because they have more tables for pairs than for larger groups, it seems. Onto the food: The Georgia peach waffle was delicious! I don't have much of a sweet tooth and so, for me, the amount of sweetness in this dish was perfect. Not too much and not too little. It was plated with scoops of whip cream, a scoop of butter, and in the center of the massive waffle, peach compote with fresh peach slices on the side. I ended up taking a quarter home and eating the rest the next day it was so filling. I would recommend for others to try if you're feeling brunch at any hour of the day!

Yelp
Honey, the food here absolutely deelish. The Sunday DJ loud but lit. Come early draws a crowd quickly! Drinks are superior. staff friendly & knowledgeable. This was the best vibe since vacaying in Miami. Parking very limited. I cant post all my food pics...

Yelp
During my girls trip to Miami for art Basel weekend we found a Cute brunch spot just walking distance away from my hotel . We went around 1:30 pm. We weren't seat right away but It was packed ,So definitely make a reservation. They have a cute place to take pictures right at the front and the service was good. Host and server. We started with Mimosas . The food was good. We all enjoyed our food. We started with the cornbread. I had the crab omelette . It was good . I really enjoyed it . My sister had the fish and grits , she loved it . I stole some and her fish was really good. My cousin loved her French toast so it's safe the say we all enjoyed it . Would I go back ? If I'm ever on that side of town again. Definitely Should you ? Yes get the fish . Or the crab omelette.

Yelp
This place is BUZZING w/ uninhibited awesomeness!!! We got off a cruise, and caught an Uber here for brunch - based on reviews. Crab omelette was enormous and delicious. French toast was too big to finish (I tried HARD!!) Our server was LEE, and he didn't miss a thing! Always on top of fresh coffee, friendly, helpful with the food recommendations We'll be back, next time we come through Miami!

Yelp
I didn't make reservations, so I thought we would be waiting for hours for a seat, but that wasn't the case at all. We were seated immediately Our waiter was Lee. He was attentive and nice. We ordered the cheeseburger and fries, cheesy grits with short ribs and had 4 of their signature drinks. Everything was 10/10, delicious and served hot and fresh. The drinks were really good as they were not selfish with the alcohol lol!! There was music playing in the background. This place is a nice vibe for brunch. Check it out!!

Yelp
Don't walk, but run here. The food was amazing. We especially enjoyed our drink and the spicy honey. The entire staff was friendly and did their very best to speak to all patrons. However....... The only issue we had was our seating location. Despite the restaurant being half empty, we were told we had to sit by the door since we were only a party of 2. And sitting by the door was the worst!!!! The cold from outside kept hitting you, people waiting and standing by the door, was an annoying experience. We were disappointed that they refused to seat us at a larger table - especially seeing parties of two come in after us, and were able to sit at a larger table.

Yelp
My friend took me here for brunch. It has easy parking. It's definitely a proper brunch spot. I was impressed with their plant based options. There seemed like there was a lot of birthdays. It's definitely a spot to have a lit brunch with friends. I wish I had gone for a proper brunch dish. But I went for the Mac and cheese. It was decent Mac and cheese. I would recommend this spot. Especially for the plant based options. An excellent selection.

Yelp
Cute vibes! Great food! This was the best Shrimp n grits I've had in awhile. Very cheesy and the sauce with a little kick was perfect! When in Miami, I definitely plan to return here!!

Yelp
Thought we booked a reservation online but it didn't go through however the hostess was super helpful! She got us on the wait list and had us seated in no time! The outside area was truly beautiful. They even had fans to keep us cool. And the food? AMAZING! My short rib was super tender! Loved it. Can't wait to come back.

Yelp
I got the Sweet Chick ($19) , side of chicken thigh ($8), and a blueberry lemonade ($8). Price as of November 2022. None of the dishes stood out to us. This place is one and done for us. Our wait staff was super positive and friendly. Wait time wasn't long. I was expecting more out of this place since it had high rated reviews, but eh. Just heads up, they automatically include an 18% tip on your bill.

Yelp
Been wanting to come to this restaurant for a while now...wish I would have come sooner! The atmosphere is great here. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately they do not accept reservations so the wait was about an hour, but the hosts kept us in the loop and were constantly checking on everyone and filling up the tables quickly. Their menu is pretty well rounded for a brunch spot. I ordered the chicken and waffles. It was very delicious. The waffle has a slight spice to it to contrast the sweetness. The fried chicken was crunchy and juicy. Also shared a truffle Mac and cheese with my table. It had the perfect amount of truffle. Added short rib to the mac, was a little pricey in my opinion. For drinks, I had an iced coffee with vanilla flavor. The only issue I had was the pricing on the coffee. I didn't notice until I had left but the menu had an iced coffee as $5 and I was charged $7. The vanilla flavor is extra but the coffee without it was still more. Also a heads up you do get charged for the water they bring to the table. Wasn't aware of that either.

Yelp
I had a really good experience at Honey Uninhibited and would definitely recommend it to friends! I ordered the Eggs Benny and the custard French Toast to share with a friend. When I tell you it was delicious, trust my words. Nothing was left on either plate. I left happy and completely satisfied. Service was friendly and attentive. Yes, the food took a little long because we went for a Sunday brunch but the server was checking in frequently to make sure we were good. My only complaint is that they charge for water. Regular water at that. I didn't understand that and never in my life have I been told I'd be charged for water. Aside from that, would I come back? More than likely. I'm not a huge fan of brunch but this place definitely was a great bang for the buck!
