Where To See & Be Seen In Miami - Miami - The Infatuation

"Wear your best outfit to stand in line at Honey Veil, because you’ll be in the background of several micro-influencers’ content. Judging by their lines, you’d think this pop-up was Miami’s only matcha spot. They’re not, but the white truck is the only one topping their drinks with a honey foam that even your friend who deleted Instagram two years ago has probably seen by now. If you have the time for a 45-minute wait in the middle of a Wednesday, can you please tell us where you work? But the wait is sort of the point. It gives you ample opportunity to make eye contact with your parasocial relationships. The matcha latte with miso caramel" - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo, mariana trabanino, julia malave

Honey Veil - Review - Miami - The Infatuation

"Honey Veil’s mobile matcha cart pops up around Miami (and on everyone’s feeds) a few days a week at different locations. Their menu consists of matcha drinks and baked goods like sourdough cinnamon rolls and gluten-free banana bread. Yes, this is yet another trendy matcha spot in Miami. But it’s good. They’re serving ceremonial grade matcha from Japan, mixed with things like strawberry jam and miso caramel, which go wonderfully with the photogenic honey foam they plop on top of each cup. Is it good enough to justify the two-hour waits that occasionally happen? Not for us—especially since the baked goods aren’t as impressive as the matcha. But if you’ve got too much time on your hands, or your therapist recently recommended practicing patience, go for it. And wear your best outfit because you'll be in the background of several micro-influencers’ content. The best way to keep up with their location is via Instagram. photo credit: Daniel Neuhaus video credit: Julia Malavé video credit: Julia Malavé Pause Unmute" - Julia Malavé

Miami’s Best New Restaurant Openings, March 2025 | Eater Miami

"Founded by sisters Regina and Cecilia Alcobe-Garibay after they began baking sourdough with their mom during the pandemic, this business grew from farmers’ markets to a storefront in Pinecrest while the pair continue to sell at weekend markets. Offerings include sourdough bread, cinnamon buns, banana bread, and matcha and coffee drinks." - Laine Doss

Google
I’m genuinely shocked by some of the negative reviews, because this was hands down some of the best matcha I’ve ever had in my life. I ordered the blueberry and pumpkin matchas, and both were absolutely mind-blowing. I’ve tried matcha all over the world, and the flavor here was on another level: bold, vibrant, and authentic. I’ve seen a few people say it’s “too bitter,” but to me, that just proves how real it is. This is true matcha; not the overly sweetened or artificially smoothed-out kind you find almost everywhere else. You can actually taste the quality and craftsmanship in every sip. Their pastries are also phenomenal. The cinnamon rolls and matcha loaf, in particular, were standout favorites. I seriously can’t wait for their brick-and-mortar location to open. Honey Veil is a gem, and I can’t recommend it enough to anyone who appreciates real matcha and high-quality baked goods.

Google
The best matcha in Miami ! Their new location is very centrally located :) they offer a lot of sweets as well to have along with your matcha. Yes it does get busy, but that’s just a proof to how good it is ! They are still growing so be patient with them, in other words, don’t be a Karen.

We tried three different pastries and they were really good. The matchas tasted very natural — which can be a plus for some, but not really for me. The line took about 20 minutes, but the team was super friendly. I’d definitely go back to try their coffee and another poppy seed cake.

I loooove this place so much! It’s my Sunday rotation, I’ve been following this truck everywhere they’ve been. Mind you, I do not like matcha, but this match I love! It’s so worth the price, the ingredients are high quality and you can taste it on the flavor. I’d recommend their regular matcha and honey whip and/or the banana bread matcha with almond milk, it brings out the flavors more than other kind of milks! For their pastries I’ll recommend the sourdough cinnamon roll, the salted caramel brownie and the banana bread. Loved all those options! Need to try more of the pastries. Just know I once waited 3hrs between waiting line and waiting for the order, and I still continue to visit them on every location: it is worth it, never had waiting issues ever again btw.

I wanted to love Honey Veil. The matcha banana bread didn’t have a banana flavor, and the icing tasted lemon-y (I didn’t really taste matcha). The matcha cookie was good. The strawberry matcha was okay, but it could have used more honey as sweetener. The presentation is gorgeous, however, and I suggest going in the morning before they sell out of baked goods.

Google
Amazing! This is a real matcha strong and good green! Finally! The cinnamon rolls amazing! We really liked everything

Google
The matcha was great but my cinnamon rolls were raw. Disappointed bc i waited like 45 min in the rain for half baked rolls..

Google
Amazing cinnamon rolls I got the blueberry sourdough. As for matcha it’s not it for me the flavors sit on top of the matcha, and bury the matcha flavor rather bring out the natural flavors of matcha. 4/10 for me. Rather go to Aiko & Mumu for their matcha much better quality of flavors. I got the blue berry matcha. 30 minute line wait.
