The food was flavorful for sure. They are quick to serve. You can only order at the screens so not sure what I’m tipping for. This location is extremely loud for some reason. My sister and I noticed that with only 5-7 other people, it was very very loud. Maybe invest in sound buffers. Other than that, order to go and try the rice noodles. Very good. The garlic butter chicken is very spicy , I ordered the crab 🦀 dish and it was good.

I’ve heard great things about this restaurant! We finally stopped in to give it a try! The food, though expensive, was exceptional! The flavors were so robust and delicious! We passed around our dishes and each one had an amazing flavor combination! Would recommend eating here! Additional information: No auto doors, the parking is a little weird, but it is free for the first 3 hours, overall place is very clean including the bathrooms

I am new to the area and started coming almost once a week. I was impressed with the service off the bat. Staff is incredibly friendly and is always happy to help. They welcome you as soon as you enter and say thank you as you leave. I have been continuously impressed with the cleanliness. I had a later order than usual and as they were breaking everything down, I noticed that they were cleaning and dismantling the top of the grill to clean. I have been happy to keep coming back.

My coworker went to buy my lunch. I have never ate here. I will probably never come back. I order the buffalo Chicken stir fry, I uncheck the blue cheese. My coworker returned with the food and there is blue cheese all over it. I tried my coworkers noodles and they taste so good, but you get a one star for messing up my entire order and wasting time and money.

To be overpriced the food quality is super low. You may pay for extra ingredients but that does not mean you will get it. I had way better stir fry for least. Not worth it at all. The portion is small.

Updating because I have eaten lunch here for several years and have never had a bad meal! Always hot and fresh. Try the shrimp next time - they are perfectly de-veined and plentiful in a stir fry. Thanks to the talented and friendly staff!

Heard from a friend about this place as they serve really good stir frys. Ordered the food online but because of the weather, it was cold and the noodles were stuck to each other. The taste was good though. I tried the spicy garlic with chicken and focaccia bread. You can also make your own stir fry bowl. They also have healthy options.

First time trying it. Great fresh awesome food. Loved it. I had Garlic chicken and it was GOOD. Another reason to visit CA again…

Food is standard--salads and stir-fries. But although they are slow in preparing, the food is made fresh. That's important with salads, because who wants a soggy salad?! Try the Kale Chicken Caesar salad! Hubby likes the seasonal Chesapeake stir fry. Drink selection is "eh". Cleanliness was a 3.5 out of 5. Prices are a little steep, but what isn't these days. You have to use a touch screen to order, so bring some hand sanitizer or go wash your hands after. Location:in a quiet office park complex that used to house VMWare's regional office (they were bought out and closed it). There are a few other busy eateries here as well. Parking is pretty good and there is a little picnic area in the parking lot near Honeygrow to eat outside if the two tables right in front are taken.

The food was fresh and delicious. I loved all the options there were to create your own dish. The service was good and the place was pretty clean.

On our recent trip to Virginia we tried the above two delicious bowls at Honeygrow's Tyson square location. I wasn't sure if I'll like what I had just ordered but oh bro! trust me it was delicious. The quantity was very good. It was a good and healthy meal for me. Plus the ingredients were so fresh I could absolutely feel it. If you're around Tyson square and looking for some good vegetarian or vegan options, this is the place. It's fresh, healthy and tasty. Plus you can customize everything. They serve quick and have a nice ambiance Great concept

Solid lunch option with Create Your Own stir-fries and salads. The Chesapeake Crab was definitely a popular pick, as was the Garlic Butter dish. You can easily customize any of the options, which makes it a great pick for a larger group.

This Ode is Universal and specific at the same time as I am absolutely getting this sweet feeling over Honeygrow in the Reston Town Center. I used the Uber Eats bonus via Amex for the $15 monthly freebie and lucked out as Honeygrow had a buy 1 get 1 free Spicy Garlic Stir fry dish that turned out to be heavenly. The noodles were perfect, the garlic sauce even better, the chicken so tender and flavorful, the pineapple adding a beautiful crunch and burst of citrus; the broc was well done and smoky and the cilantro just took it to a whole new level. I finished both the entrees - one in the car and the other in the driveway 15 minutes later. That good! The focaccia bread was delightful and really tasty. They also feature the Asian Ginger salad, Greek Out, Cobb salad or a great create your own option. They have a big parking lot. This was a refreshing, beautiful experience! I'll be back!

Consistently good consistently clean. I probably have been here 12-15 times. Its good food for a fair price. I typically get the same thing, a butter chicken stir fry, and every time it taste great. I usually do mobile order and have always had it ready by the time I arrived. The staff are friendly and helpful when accommodating allergies. There is plenty of seating even during the lunch hour. Love going here and will continue to do so.

I love Honey Grow and visit often. The people here are super nice and always saying hi and thank you even when I'm only picking up a to-go order. The only thing I wish they would do better is getting their sauce amount consistent. When I order regular sauce, it sometimes seems like they forgot it all together. I started ordering extra sauce to fix this, but then it's just soaked in sauce and not edible. Would love some consistency. It's frustrating to get home and feel like my noodles either have no flavor, or they're sopping. Customer service is awesome, store is very clean, and I love the outdoor seating too. I've only tried the stir-fry bowls but everything else looks awesome too. Again, I keep coming cause when they nail it, they NAIL IT, but would love them to get the sauce consistency on track.

It was my first time experiencing Honeygrow and for starters Alexis was amazing. Her customer service was phenomenal and the food was delicious! I would recommend to anyone and I give this place 5 stars.

Honeygrow is a healthier chain with fun bowls and salads. I tried their Soy Garlic and Butter Chicken bowls. The servings are generous and both bowls were solid. I loved that the bowls were so easily customizable. They have a ton of vegetable options to add for a super fair price (unlike sweet green :)).

Visited HoneyGtow in Reston and the food, customer service, and interior cleanliness of the restaurant is excellent! Lastly, the General Manager Eric and team ensured that we were satisfied with our meals and had a wonderful experience. Kudos to the Honey Grow team in Reston!

Usually, if you say honeygrow...I'm there! Came here for lunch with a coworker on a weekday. It was about 2:30-3pm and the place was empty besides one other party. First time coming to this location! Despite that, it took about 35+ minutes to get our order and when we finally got it...we were disappointed in the final product. My initial reaction was that the portions got a bit skimpy...which is fine...I could definitely use a diet and some portion control. However, the food was very very dry and not seasoned. There was a weird smell from my turkey meatballs and it was not an enjoyable meal. My coworker and I thought..."Wow, this is not the honeygrow we remember". They did seem to have some mobile orders coming in at the end of our lunch...so maybe it's better via order ahead?

The menu is not too big but the food is good. Its kind of an americanized modernized asian food.

Their online ordering is very deceptive. They show you the item you are ordering and the ingredients for one price, then they show you the real price with the ingredients from the original price and it's doubled. Also they require you to give your address, for pickup orders. The food is good but their ordering practice's are very deceitful. Makes you wonder what else they're being deceitful about.

Our recent experience with ordering food from Honeygrow was the best experience we've ever had when it comes to ordering. We never cared for using their touch screens to order (and with COVID out there, the idea is even less appealing). Since we don't come here often, we end up having to ask for help when substituting ingredients. Often, we just went with the default menu items just because it was easier. Well...This time we ordered delivery using GrubHub...and what a great experience! The online order form was easy to navigate when it came to substitutions or creating your own bowl. I got the Avocado BLT salad which, in its default form, consists of: "Spicy ranch dressing, chopped romaine, crispy bacon, grape tomatoes, avocado, scallions, crumbled blue cheese, parmesan herbed breadcrumbs". I was able to change "chopped romaine" to "spring mix". Instead of "spicy ranch dressing", I got olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. Since I don't care much for parmesan cheese, I changed the croutons to foccacia herbed croutons. Also, I took out the bleu cheese crumbles. My husband got the Cobb Salad which consists of: "white balsamic vinaigrette, chopped romaine, roasted chicken, hard-boiled egg, crispy bacon, apples, grape tomatoes, avocado, crumbled blue cheese". He changed his dressing to ranch dressing, removed the bleu cheese and added beets. We both enjoyed our salads as they were properly made. From now on, even after normal or new normal arrives, when we want Honeygrow, we will order it online. Yes, it costs more than dining in but it's worth the extra money as it is a less stressful (well...to us, anyway) procedure.

Garlic noodles are delish. Loved getting this for delivery and really delicious flavor. Strawberry guava lemonade is a hit.

My favorite fast casual place in Reston. You can't go wrong. Delicious I've gotten the red curry noodles and garlic bread stir fry. The garlic bread stir fry is sooooooo good! Just higher in calories.

I am surprised to see some of the negative reviews from recent visits because I had an amazing experience end to end when my coworker and I came for lunch last week. The restaurant was a little busy but I feel like we waited about 10 minutes after placing our order. This place makes it easy to order providing preset menu options or the ability to make your down. Honestly home of the menu items were a little more adventurous so I stayed away from those because that would be a deal breaker for someone trying for the first time. I went with the "safe" option and got the spicy garlic with chicken stir fry. It was a tad bit salty but overall delicious, a good portion of noodles, meat, veggies, and sauce. I'd definitely get it again as it hit all the flavors. My coworker did a CYO and that came out really good too. The menu offers a variety of ingredients so you reeally get your money's worth. Now that I've had it once, I'm going to come back for the salads and even try one of the more adventurous options. Can't wait! Would highly recommend for all. A little curiosity will go along way here.

The positives: My precocious (almost) 7 year old and I visited earlier today. He was intrigued by the artwork on the walls, and totally satisfied with his "kids meal" that includes more than the adult selections. He really loved the lemonade options. I enjoyed my garlic chicken noodles tremendously. Was not a large portion, but quite tasty and well prepared. My lemonade selection was quite satisfying as well. Prices are very reasonable. Selections are abundant. Decoration is nice. And the place is clean. Location is good. A few minutes walk from the Reston Town Center stop on the new silver line metro. The critique: Service is not terribly bad. But not extraordinary by any means. I don't love the kiosk style of ordering. It presented some measure of challenge, and the staff wasn't going out of their way to be helpful. It almost felt like a newly opened spot that hadn't yet trained everyone. I recommend this place highly for young people, high school and college age. They don't really need the help with technology, nor are they very impressed by great customer service. For the rest, I recommend taking a look at the website and menu before coming, but still come because it's good.

Yum yum yum - why have I wasted so much time NOT eating here!!??? The food is high quality and super fresh! The restaurant is kept extremely clean and the people who work there are friendly and responsive. My first night there I got the wrong salad in my order and figured it out by the time I got to the parking lot. I went back (after trying to talk myself into just eating this one but cilantro tastes like soap and there were a few other dislikes in the salad I got as well). So I went back and the employee was sooo nice and apologetic, quickly made my salad, offered me the salad by mistake AND gave me a coupon for the trouble. My kids also love this place! What a healthy alternative to quick meal options!!!

My coworkers and I have gotten lunch here a few times, including 2 large takeout orders that were placed online for pickup. A few of us have gotten stir-fries once or twice, but all of us definitely preferred the salads in the end. My first time ordering in-store, I came in around 11 AM and it was empty. This might've also been pretty soon after they opened so word might not have spread yet. When I went to pick up our large online orders several weeks later, it was a lot busier; once we ordered for 12:30 pickup and the place was absolutely packed. As with most places, the closer to the lunch rush hour you placed your order the more likely it was they'd miss something in at least one of the orders. The 1 time we ordered for 12:30 pickup I did notice some toppings were missing from my salad, but the other times I came here when it was less hectic, my order was correct. The salads are pretty generously sized and there are tons of toppings to choose from. I usually do the create-your-own but my coworkers have said good things about the seasonal summer watermelon salad and the cobb salad. One of my usually salad-hating coworkers actually likes the cobb salad, and prefers it to getting stir-fry. If you order online, you get $5 off the 1st order. All the staff I've interacted with in-stores were friendly, and the touchscreen ordering system in stores is pretty easy to use. Salads run about $11-$15 depending on what you get and what you add. Lots of free parking nearby.

I just went to Honeygrow for the first time while I was traveling and I am definitely a fan! I had the red coconut curry and the serving was HUGE and amazing.

The noodles, strike that... ALL of the ingredients were amazingly fresh and each flavor stood tall in this dish. I admit I had to try the cobbler first and was not disappointed. I only wish we had something like this back in Colorado.

Honey Grow is never a disappointment the food was fresh your portion size is pretty good size. I will update this post with images my next go round I really enjoyed there dessert so don't skip that. The fruit in it was so good.

Visited this place again, and this time I definitely had a much nicer experience. I ordered the same menu like last time with only difference in the type of noodles. Rice noodles were so soft and perfect, with a perfect balance of the spicy garlic sauce - which I took on the side. I wish the portion of vegetables was a little more so it would have added more flavour. But, nonetheless, I loved my experience this time *__*

To be honest based on the prior reviews.. I was not expecting this place to be good at all. I was pleasantly surprised! Maybe I got lucky, or maybe they have truly sorted out the issues that some commenters before me attributed to possibly being a new restaurant, but whatever the case this is a great lunch spot. I love the ease of ordering and then if you're dining in they text and call your name when your order is complete. No paper receipts is also an eco-friendly plus! I can only speak to the rice noodle "create your own" stir fry that I had, but as far as a quick, easy, and relatively healthy lunch option it was perfect. The veggies were fresh, tofu was cooked well, and the sauce was spicy without being overpowering. The cashews and cilantro added a perfect finishing touch to my bowl and I'd definitely order the same again. Parking was right out front, my group ordered, ate, and made it back to the office in our allotted lunch hour, and it wasn't an overly expensive meal for this area. Good value for the price. Staff was also friendly! Will definitely be back :)

I received an order for another Jim. The receipt on the outside was my order, the receipt inside was for a different order. I did not find the second receipt until I had taken a few bites and realized this was not my order. I have a restricted diet and now I'm going to be sick for the next 3-5 days. Just in time for the weekend.

Since I am in the area I decided to check this place out. Off the bat there were no available parking (disabled parking) & regular parking. I ended parking at the garage and walked a lil bit,which seemed to be an eternity if you have a fractured foot. Place was busy. You order from the self serve screen and pay when your order is called. Main highlights are salad bowls and stir fry. I decided to try the pesto stir fry since it was seasonal. The stir fry was bland and lacks a punch of flavors. It was also inadequate in proteins and veggies. In summary it was a bowl of blah. I didn't finish and discard the rest. Pricey for how it is.

I got a custom rice noodle bowl. It was literally 90% noodles, 5% chicken, 5% add-ins. There were only 4 pieces of chicken in my entire bowl! Also, I paid extra for a second sauce on the side but it was missing from my order. I also paid extra for pineapple but only had 3 chunks! It's a shame because the flavor was actually pretty good. That's the only thing that bumped it up from 1 star. Way overpriced for just a giant bowl of rice noodles.

This place is terrible. My food took a long time. When I finally got it, it was luke warm. The noodles were practically inedible. I would never go here. I tried sending a message and it won't work

I order from here 2-3 times a week. It's one of the few places that I can eat guilt free and I always love the taste but the last two times I've ordered the containers are not full. I choose to eat plant-based so that I can eat more meals. If I want a portion control I would go to Jenny Craig or weight watchers.

I love honeygrow! The reston location has been amazing. They always give a lot of protein, which is awesome. Unfortunately today I ordered the shrimp stir fry and only got 6 shrimp. I usually get 10+! Maybe it was a mistake, because every other time they give a lot of protein. The staff are wonderful too.

I visited honeygrow for the first time, I was very exited about it because I heard great things about this place! Let's dive into the food! Portion was just right, food looked great, the restaurant was clean but, I waited a long time for my food ( didn't bother me as much). I was actually salivating from excitement because it look so good but unfortunately the meat ( I ordered steak w/ extra chicken) had no flavor, it was bland! I decided to steal one piece from my wife's bowl to see if it was just mine but her was also bland! Noodles and veggies were perfectly stir fried but the meat!

Food is tasty and ready. The options are good. I really like the spicy garlic The parking lot is big, and the carry out people are on the ball.

To preface this update, I've been to this location several times and never encountered this issue before. I did my homework, looked at the ingredients, and even searched reviews about others perceptions of the spicy garlic stir fry. Last night I went to Honeygrow. It was 8pm and all I ate the entire day was a measly granola bar. I was hangry and about to eat the chair as I waited 10 minutes for my food. There was one man waiting and a women who walked in 5 minutes after me. It's noteworthy to mention she also got a stir fry (watched her order it on the screen) and she got her order at the same time I did. So I'm not sure what happened to make my spicy garlic stir fry so unbearably spicy it's inedible, but something happened. I didn't make any modifications to be sauce and only added mushrooms (not spicy!). As I start to scarf my noodles I start sweating and realize my mouth is on fire. SO SPICY. let me state for the record - I love spicy. I get spicy drinks, hot wings, etc. The amount of heat generated from the spice on this was intense and I could not eat more than 1/3 of my meal. I ate that much mostly because I had scarfed it so fast I didn't realize it. Needless to say, I ate another granola bar and went to bed. Tossed the noodles into the trash where they belonged. What a waste of time and money. I gave this review 3 stars since I've never been disappointed by this company before... but The review for this item deserved one star at best.

This is my new favorite spot for healthy Chinese stir fry. I really enjoyed the fresh juices and easy to order kiosks. Try the old bay Chesapeake crab stir fry. You won't be disappointed.

I love this place. Its kind of similar to a Chipotle or a Cava type place where you choose a base, protein, toppings and a sauce and then they make it up for you. You can get a salad or stir-fry. I've only ever had the stir-fry and sometimes get two types of protein, usually shrimp and steak. When I first came here I thought I wasn't going to like it, but I love it. Its a great mixture and the chefs do such a great job of cooking it all together into a tasty dish. They also have a dessert called the honeybar and its a mixture of a flavored honey, and other toppings. I usually create my own with a mix of fresh fruit, granola, a flavored honey, nuts and whipped cream. Its somewhat healthy minus the honey, but its a good dessert and nice complement to the main dish. I've come to love getting food from HoneyGrow and frequently will order online and pick up. Its close to my home and I can be there in a few minutes after ordering. Haven't eaten in, in quite a long time but the wait is pretty short from order to it being ready and delivered to your table (pre-covid). Highly recommend a visit and getting lunch or dinner here.

This place is PHENOMENAL!!! I have some tricky-to-navigate and very-serious allergies to alliums (onion, garlic, shallots, etc.). I know, that sucks right?! What sucks more is when you find a place that had an easy enough menu to moderate, and they don't take enough care. Like, my throat will try to close if I eat these ingredients... Anyways, I was going to order on DoorDash, so I had to call first because I've never been to a HoneyGrow, and just moved to Reston. I spoke with Marissa -- she was a DELIGHT! She made sure to talk me through some of the ingredients and we came up with the right sauce for me (the 5 spice one doesn't have onion or garlic). Sooo exciting! I ordered a CYO stirfry and a fruit dessert bowl. When my order arrived, it had the sweetest note attached. All of their proteins are usually cooked with garlic, however, they saw the note about my allergy and cook my protein with just salt & pepper, AND invited me to call ahead anytime so that they could continue to make my food with care. I could cry right now! Also, they have no idea what they've signed up for, because I will likely order honeygrow multiple times per week. Sooo exciting! Thank you to this team! I hope your company realizes how special and valuable each and every one of you are. And to have this much compassion *during* a pandemic... well that just makes this even sweeter.

My review is solely based on their dessert item "Honey Bar" : First time here and I was expecting a lot more for $6.10 , than just the toppings I had selected and tossed into a cup. I imagined it would be a lot like yogurtland / Pinkberry (do they even have them here on the east coast?) regardless , it ended up being a dried assortment of fruits and there was no honey, trace and or taste of honey in my cup. If you want to add yogurt it cost you an extra for that premium topping , I believe $0.75 ontop of the $6 you are already paying. To summarize my review, the cup is very small for what you are paying and it taste very dry since there is not type of yogurt/liquid other than what the strawberries drop. Would not recommend.

We've been here a few times now for pickup. Ordering on the app is easy, and the food is usually ready and waiting by the time I can drive over. Our daughter loves the Parmesan noodles kids dish. I usually get a build your own salad. All the ingredients taste fresh, and they have a great honey vinaigrette dressing. The honey bowls are also quite tasty and have a variety of flavors. It's one of our go to places for a quick healthy lunch or dinner.

Super friendly and very accommodating staff The kiosks are super easy to use and tend to time out very quickly so knowing what you want before hand is helpful! I made my own bowl with rice noodles, tofu, broccoli,kale,carrots and mushrooms with a combination of sauces spicy garlic and coconut curry, it was SUPER YUMMY

Honey Grow is a quick choice for a healthy stir fry or salad meal. The concept is order custom dishes yourself using a touchpad kiosk. There is very limited human interaction before your order is done. I like how most items in the menu can be changed to what you prefer. They have vegetarian, gluten free and Vegan choices. I had the spicy garlic bowl with chicken. The sauce (which is customizable) was really good and it was spicy. There is a small outside dining area right next to the parking lot out front. It is nice to be able to sit outside on a good day- it was pretty cold indoors. They have their own cold pressed juice which is very natural and without added sugar. It can be an adjustment for those not used to unsweetened drinks. I would like to come back and try the Chesapeake Blue Crab stir fry (here only for the Summer).

Horrible service. Got an $18 salad and they ran out of tofu. Guess what, this establishment has no capability to do a refund. Had to argue and wait 10 min to get the GMs number. Left her a message and never heard back. Email her and she said she can't do refunds and has to ask corporate which takes 3/5 days. What type of place just takes your money. Embers better, wait a week and still no refund. Email again and they say some processing error (thanks for telling me) and it's fixed now. Well it's been a month. Still no refund! What a shitty business with a shitt UPDATE: see comment from owner below. Just to attest to how messed up this is, i'v already reached out 3 times and they want me to reach out again through some general contact me portal, to only offer a lousy free meal. Pathetic. Change you policy!

Update as of June 2019: I have been a regular of Honeygrow since it opened here. I love the concept of Honeygrow, and from what I understand the ones in Philly area are great. But this one just misses the mark. It's typically dirty (tables not wiped down, food on the floor) even if it's only 5pm. The stir fry used to be burnt a lot but now is just okay. Honestly I can cook the food at home. I have written in on their website once before when I had a bad experience. I received no response. Today I wrote in but honestly don't expect a response. So here I am on Yelp. I can't make excuses anymore (for the long wait, the lack of cleanliness, the lack of shift leader or manager on site to solve issues). I won't be returning.

I've only ordered from here once. My husband and I both got CYO stir fry with beef. I got spicy garlic sauce and he got sweet soy, and we added a handful of veggies. I preferred the spicy garlic to sweet soy (although it was a bit spicier than I expected!) and he preferred the other way around so I guess we made the right choices! Looking forward to getting food from here again. They were quick and had our orders correct, and the portions were big enough that I had leftovers. Since we ordered on DoorDash I can't comment on service or the physical space.
