I love their pies, but the ingredients tend to vary which is a little odd, because when you love a pie you want to be able to get it again and again, right?! Well, I drove over an hour to pick up our favorite chocolate cream pie with a graham cracker crust. I called ahead of time to confirm I could get it made specifically with a graham cracker crust for Thanksgiving. There is someone with a pastry crust allergy in our family so this was a very important detail. This is a pie that has changed ingredients--it used to always be a graham cracker crust and randomly they changed it to a pastry crust without changing the name of the pie. After calling to place the order, I was assured they could make it with the graham cracker crust, and since it was an allergy they would take that very seriously and all I had to do was put that detail in the "allergy" comment section of my order. I did that--days later I drove an hour to pick up the pie and it was a pastry crust. I was offered a refund. Beyond disappointed with this place, and I won't be going back. I have no dessert for Thanksgiving tomorrow, and all I got was a "sorry, my bad." They obviously don't take allergies seriously, so anyone with special requests should avoid this place. Also, anyone who wants to reliably go back to get a "favorite" should probably avoid this place, because you can't rely on the consistency.
