"Opening alongside Beard & Belly, Honeypie will bring Valeri Lucks’s fruit and cream pies back to Edgewater, with Schrage highlighting a pistachio cream among the offerings; Lucks rotates 40 to 50 recipes. The bakery and kitchen will occupy the former Holzkopf’s Meat Market space (they kept and refurbished the butcher’s old coolers to display pies), and the team plans pie pairings with whiskies and beers, a possible basement event or game room, and eventual sidewalk seating.
