Honey's Coffee and Biscuits

This place was adorable, the food was delicious, coffee was amazing, and the staff was so happy and kind. The orange biscuit, the honey butter biscuit, cinnamon roll, and sausage egg and cheese biscuit panini were all 10/10. The blackberry mocha was also great.

Utterly delicious! The ambiance is everything you'd want of a quaint and small town cafe. If you are driving down 45 pass New Waverly definitely make it a stop! The biscuits sandwiches are toasted to perfection. The biscuit is soft and crumbly and buttery and just perfection! DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT TRYING THE ORANGE GLAZE BISCUIT! The staff is so very attentive and delightful as well. Will be making this a permanent stop on my trips to and from Houston to Dallas.

Such a cute spot! I got the chai latte and it was delicious. They have a wide variety of milk options. The orange biscuits are to die for and the sausage biscuit was also good! The woman at the window was very friendly too.

Charming small town coffee shop, the Orange Biscuit is unparalleled. The drip coffee was a little dark for my taste but anyone that likes Texas Tea will like it, the Moca Latte was fantastic, worked well with the dark roast.

Instead of talking about how amazing Honeys Food, drinks and service are (BECAUSE THEY’RE ALL AMAZING) I want to mention using honeys as an event space! Our family has hosted bridal showers and baby showers here at honeys and it is seriously the perfect location! It’s so perfect for an intimate celebration for all types! They’re easy to work with, it’s so affordable, and it’s just simply beautiful to use! If you’re looking for a place for a gathering (30ish people) definitely check out honeys!

Delicious coffee and adorable, cozy decor. Yes, I know it's been said a million times, but it's worth mentioning again! :) I can't wait to come back and try their beloved orange biscuits. I got a biscuit panini, and it was great. They don't have frappuccinos, but their iced coffee is just as yummy and refreshing!

Super cool little place! I would pass by it all the time traveling and they would always be closed, but I finally made it in! The options are pretty good and the place is super comfy to be in. The prices are very reasonable as well. Definitely better than I expected. I definitely want to try and make it back here every time I'm passing through. Next time I want to try their honey biscuit, they sound amazing!

Worst coffee I've ever had. I tried a few of their specialty drinks and each one tasted like nothing but milk and sugar. Zero coffee. When I order coffee I would like it to have some coffee in it. Coffee should not be served almost completely white. Their sausage was under cooked and their fruit looked like it was days old and shriveled. Won't be stopping here again.

This place is quite the catch! You just stop by for one of their Orange Biscuits. Will simply melt in your mouth. Their biscuits and gravy really hit the spot as well. Great selection of coffees for you as well.

Attention all coffee lovers - this place is absolutely amazing! Tucked away in the heart of New Waverly, it is still an easy exit, grab some delicious snacks/coffee and get back on I-45. Things to know: 1) The menu doesn't offer sizes for their drinks. I failed to ask on this trip but I will update my review when I visit next time. 2) Portions are just right, so if you're very hungry I recommended ordering two of the item you're wanting. 3) There is a drive thru As this is my first visit, I like to try multiple items to get a feel of presentation and quality. I normally do a quick pros be cons list but this place deserves more detail. Here's what I ordered: Panini Grilled Biscuit Sandwich - This is a killer breakfast item. The biscuit is super tasty and the panini grill is a nice touch. I would prefer the sausage and eggs to be separate but that's just a personal preference. Orange biscuit - This biscuits is soaked in mouth watering butter and a small amount of orange marmalade (I believe that's what it is). I will say don't be fooled by the size of this biscuit, it is extremely heavy on the stomach but worth every bite. Biscuit and Gravy - Another tasty item off the menu. There wasn't anything fancy about this one but a solid choice if you love some gravy. The Buzz - I can easily see how this drink is a customer favorite. It is quite literally the perfect iced coffee, it's not overbearing with creamer and has the right amount of coffee. This drink the bread and butter of Honeys Coffee IMO. Lavender Lemonade - This is a great southern example of lemonade. If you're looking for a refreshing drink, you have to try this one. Honeys Coffee I WILL be back! It's a 20 minute drive for me but worth every minute . You guys have something special!

Oh my goodness, I am so glad.I found this little treasure. On my way back to Dallas and wanted some coffee.But I was in for a taste bud explosion. The biscuits and gravy and the Panini sandwich out of this world.I think next time I will get a Pannini and a side of gravy to dip it in.It was amazing coffee was delicious.Prices are great.

I got a caramel latte and a cinnamon roll. The roll was good but the coffee was awful! Very weak.

Why 5 stars? Because the food was pretty much perfect. --- --- --- My wife discovered this place a long time ago on Yelp, but we are just never in New Waverly. Despite going to Sam Houston, there was never a reason for me to exit 45 at New Waverly. But now there is. And that thing is biscuits. The reason for our visit is that we were on our way to Dallas. And while we ate some amazing things in our time there, Honey's was the first stop of our journey and one of the best. We ordered a sausage biscuit, a honey biscuit, a panini and an orange biscuit. All of them were amazing. All of them. The orange biscuit was just a slightly more intense version of the honey biscuit, so if you're scared off by the "orange" part, don't be. It's very subtle. But what's not subtle is how delicious it is. To drink, I ordered a black cold brew. Boring, I know, but that's kind of my thing. It was just okay. My wife didn't love her latte either, but the food was so great, we didn't even care that the coffee didn't blow us away. We will happily come back here when we are on our way up north, or just craving the best biscuits in all the land!

OMG THESE BISCUITS. I think about this place literally all the time. Everyone is just delightful and accommodating. What a treasure!

I wanted to like this. I really did. But the tiny biscuit was gummy and bland... but worse, the sausage patty was raw inside. Raw as in "cool and pink". I threw the whole thing out. Maybe I'll try coffee next time and skip the food.

Honeys is such a great place to chat with your friends and family over breakfast and coffee. Or, work from home and host events! We've hosted a bridal shower here and the space was absolutely perfect!

Great little place for a quick stop along the road or if you live close by. I was making the trip from IAH to DFW and needed a refill on coffee and to catch up on a little work. This place fit the bill.. The coldbrew coffee was delicious and the food they had looked amazing.. which i hadn't already ate some brisket breakfast tacos earlier! The interior is a bit loud due to the train tracks close and just a lot of clitter clatter overall.. but it worked out!

I love their cinnamon rolls and lavender lemonade, there employees are always so nice. Whenever I go the atmosphere is so nice and welcoming. We always have a big order so sometimes I feel bad for the employees. There is like over ten people in my family so each of us gets something from Honey's

I was driving through with intentions of finding some gas station coffee, but I accidentally stumbled upon this place. The smell I was hit with when I walked in immediately convinced me to get breakfast as well. The only thing better than the coffee, food, and atmosphere, was the smiling and welcoming people behind the counter.

I have been following honeys for the past couple years, probably on the book of faces, but I've never taken the time to drive north to new Waverly to check them out. I kept watching some of their reels about their biscuits and how we have to get our orders in before Christmas And I keep seeing all the comments about how good they were so I decided to give them a try this time. I pre-ordered and went to pick them up today. First of all the New Waverly traffic was insane, and I'm not sure what was going on, but it was crazy. I made my way downtown where they're located and didn't know where to park so I did see a turn in next to the building. Come to find out that's actually their drive-through. So a pleasant surprise that I didn't even know was there. A young lady opened up the window, there's two by the way, and asked how, I was and what she could get for me. I told her I had pre-ordered some biscuits and I didn't know what to do because I never been there before and so she talked to me through had to drive around to the parking lot, which is in the back or that I could've parked in front along the street so those are good things to know. If you go down the street that it's on right before the railroad track, you would turn left and then leave your way around to the back parking lot there behind the building. There's two windows at the drive-through. I decided after I picked up the biscuits I might as well go ahead and get me a hot coffee. So I ordered a coffee with cream, no sugar and then I realize that you pull up to get your order because the lady was waving at me at the other window. So two windows I guess one is ordering and one is picking up. The coffee was leaking and both of us got a little bit on her hands and then she realized, let me go check this out, so she gave me a wet rag to clean the coffee off my hands And she went and got me another lid. So overall great customer service and the coffee was absolutely delicious. I'm glad I ordered the biscuits so I could have me a cup of hot coffee. The orange biscuits, so I hope there is good as everyone says they are, but if there anything like customer service there, they're gonna be wonderful biscuits. If you're ever in New Waverley, or you can find the time to make your way up there, go get you a coffee and maybe even a biscuit. They have several to choose from and great staff. Highly recommended.

This place was so cute and delicious! My daughter and I were camping nearby at Huntsville State Park and needed to warm up so I looked up coffee places nearby and found this adorable shop. My daughter said the hot chocolate was the best she'd ever had and their biscuits were delicious. We may have come back the next day on our way home for another hot chocolate, and coffee! To my daughters delight their special of the day was a chocolate crescent and I tried the orange biscuit, both equally delicious! Needless to say we highly recommend stopping in.

Let's beat those Monday blues with Coffee. We'll let you in on a secret. This is our favorite coffee shop (remember a few weeks back we talked about not being able to beat it) and we always will make the drive to it. Honey's Coffee is one of the hidden gems that hubby and I recommend to anyone heading out close to New Waverly or not . We first tried it about a year ago on the way to my in laws since it was still early and it had been a long night with our toddler. Since then we were hooked, any Saturday morning that we were free we make the 30 min drive. (It takes the same amount time to drive downtown). With the weather getting warmer. They have great seating outside and inside with beautiful murals. you cannot go wrong with any of their lattes. We love the caramel hot or cold. in a hurry don't worry they have a drive-thru with recommendations on the side . they have amazing breakfast items and prices. The breakfast paninis they are CLOSED on Sundays so plan accordingly if you have the @toasttab app you can order ahead All in all it's a great little family date and we love heading that way. Show them this post and hope you love it as much as we do. I was looking for a new coffee shop in the area with tables to get some work done and for my daughter to study for her NCLEX. This place was perfect. Great coffee, smoothies and breakfast biscuits. No GF food options but everything else was great.

We just had the best breakfast in the cutest restaurant! We had a sausage panini, several biscuits with honey and the orange biscuit that was so delicious. The smoothie was tasty and healthy and my son loved the blackberry lemonade. The women working there were so friendly. It was just a few minutes off 45. I highly recommend!

This a great place to hang out with friends for a coffee. Enjoy having a good coffee and company.

This place was wonderful! I had the jalapeño mocha and an orange biscuit. Both items were recommended to me by the owner and it was delicious. Other family meme bets tried the biscuit panini, sausage gravy and biscuit, and the sausage biscuit. No one had anything negative to say about the food, drinks, or atmosphere. We will be back!

Best lavender lemonade I've ever had. (I've had many kinds) and their orange biscuit is soooooo gooood!!

I work the Railroad and was waiting on my crew to show up, not a lot of coffee shops in the area, except Circle K.... so I waited outside till 7am( wish they had opened 06:30a) drive thru only.. but the store front is awesome, an old store transformed into amazing.. the front door is heavy oak and a classic, walking into this cafe is breathtaking!! Well put together will plenty of seating and store gifts, and free WiFi if you need it. It's a simple coffee cafe with food. I'm guessing the owner, she greeted with a smile and... IMMACULATE!! She's a knockout!! Anyways, after a quick conversation about being awake... she suggested breakfast sandwiches.. I loved it, it was the biscuit egg, cheese, bacon and grilled!! Perfect!! And a iced mocha, hopefully they offer larger cups, mine was a small.. I hear the breakfast smoothies are to die for too... Next visit.. gunna try if in season and available.. are the Orange biscuits.. and the biscuits and gravy.. oh and a larger iced mocha that was dark, rich and great... I also bought a drink from the glass fridge, the lavender/lemonade!! I really, really, really liked it!! Gunna grab me a few to take with me... You will not be upset at all.. this is my new cafe as it's a 15 min drive, I'd rather support a small business than a corporation..

Adorable coffee spot. Tried the caramel latte, biscuits and sausage gravy and their famous orange biscuit. Both were delicious and the coffee was just what I needed to start my day. Can't wait to stop in again! ...Which I did later for a smoothie(Chris' smoothie-vanilla protein, almond butter, strawberries, banana, spinach and almond milk)and it was VERY tasty and packed with protein to make it through a very active outdoor day of golf. Wish I lived closer to this great spot! Back again and enjoyed an iced mocha with almond milk, biscuit and gravy, and breakfast smoothie and all were delicious. Love this place.

The coffee and food is always good! This place is so always my go to spot in the morning if I'm in New Waverly! You won't be disappointed. Plus the staff is so friendly and helpful.

Black coffee and sausage panini are excellent. I usually just go through the drive-thru, so cant say much about the inside.

These folks know how to make coffee and serve breakfast. I eat here weekly. Their sausage breakfast panini's are GREAT. They also never hesitate when I ask for complicated orders! Very friendly and always have a smile! 10/10 recommendation!

What an absolutely adorable little coffee shop! I stopped by this sweet little shop while on a road trip and it amazing! I came here this morning and ordered the ice hazelnut latte with an extra shot of espresso and it was so delicious! If only I lived closer to this coffee shop, I would be here everyday!! The decor at Honey's is so cute too; very southern chic! Also, everything is so clean here as well. The restrooms were also spotless! Next time I am in the area, I will stop by and next time order the biscuits! If you're in the area, I recommend coming here! It is cute and quaint and the coffee is delicious.

Saw this place on IG and thought I would give it a try. A short drive from Montgomery but it was worth it. The coffee was great but the orange biscuits were amazing. Everyone was very friendly and the place is so cute perfect for intimate events. There is a drive thru if you prefer to stay in your car. They celebrated their 3rd Anniversary and i can see why.

We were traveling through to go camping when we passed Honeys and thought 'we'll that's a cute lil business!' The next day we stop to grab a coffee and some biscuits on our way to go hiking and I can't recommend this place enough. Do yourself a favor, stop. get some biscuits and coffee.

Went by on a Saturday morning for some coffee. I have seen this location from time to time on my commute and decided to finally give this place a try Experience through drive thru - 9/10 Easy to get in and out for the most part. Open window to place your order. Pricing -7/10 Items ordered were coffee and lemonade Hot sugar free vanilla late - 4/10 The coffee I order came in a cute cup with a personalize message which put a smile on my face but the quality of coffee was meh and nothing to brag about. Had more of a warm milk flavor then anything. Lemonade-10/10 The lemonade tasted fresh squeeze and absolutely delicious. I'm not much of a lemonade person (ordered for my daughter) but I would definitely order it for myself.

A friend recommended the orange biscuits and lavender lemonade. I'm considering driving there to get a jug of LL for a Christmas present. Negatives - Busy! Wait time was okay, staff didn't acknowledge me until I was at the counter. Not a big deal, but awkward in that homey of an atmosphere. The parking is a bit confusing. I wasn't sure if there was a back door or not. Maybe next time I will find out and write in a 5* review!! I'm thinking this place can only exceed my expectations!!

Such a cute little place! We stopped in for brunch and got breakfast paninis, turkey paninis, soup of the day and salad. Also a fulll menu of smoothies and coffee.The kids loved their food which is always a plus when trying new places!! While we waited they had plenty of things to look at and shop.

I love this place! Their breakfast items are great! I love the coffee, especially their cold brew. My husband and I especially like that they have a drive thru. The place has a great atmosphere and great service too!
