The 38 Best Restaurants in Dublin, Ireland | Eater

"Tucked into a tiny, fast-moving space, Hong Kong Wonton is all about flavor. Eva Pau’s family-run operation keeps the 15-seat dining room buzzing with Hong Kong staples. The chicken congee is bolstered with ginger and a crisp dough stick for dipping, while pork and prawn wontons swim in an intensely savory broth, the delicate wrappers barely holding in the juicy filling. Must-try dish: Don’t skip the drinks, particularly the nutty, coconut red bean milk." - Corinna Hardgrave

I tried the 5 spice beef brisket noodle soup. The broth was very good, the noodles were ok.. but the beef was quite low quality. I make a lot of briskets on my barbecue so I know what beef brisket tastes like.. and this was not brisket. It tasted more like round steak or some lean cheap cut. The beef was tender and braised properly.. but it was very low quality beef.. like stringy and a cheap beef flavour. It was still enjoyable.. the service was very good and the shop is clean.

A little wonton and noddles shop in central Dublin. We were in a hot soup mood in this cold evening, so we popped in for some chicken and wonton noodle soup. We added an order of egg rolls and some bok choy. Really hit the spot! Small place, limited seating and can get loud when crowded.

I love it here! I was craving for dumplings and congee and I heard that the food here was good, so went here! And delicious indeed! I ordered the wonton in chili sauce, chicken congee, pak choi and the hong kong iced coffee. I thought I’ll be able to finish it but the servings were very generous! I like every dish, especially the wonton. And the iced coffee was sooo soo good! I will visit again that’s for sure.

Solid 5. Cant find any fault on them. Food was amazing. We have veg/murshoom wonton, true to its roots of dumpling, chucks of mushroom and all unlike other resto that uses store bought frozen dumplings. Pork chop was filling and generous, tasty and crunchy. And the star of the meal was French toast. Its the best in Dublin for me. Will come back even just for the french Toast. Will bring friends next time.

The food was absolutely amazing! I had the Hong Kong-style pork chop with fried rice, and the portion was very generous with plenty of meat. I also had the coconut red bean drink—it was delicious, creamy, and full of coconut flavor. The Hong Kong-style French toast was simply incredible. On top of that, the staff were extremely kind and interactive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend! :)

Visited twice and tried the wonton noodles with soup on my first visit, quite authentic and enjoyable. On my second visit, I ordered the “Lo Mein,” which traditionally comes with a small bowl of soup on the side. However, I was told by a staff member who, interestingly, isn’t from Hong Kong, that it shouldn’t be served that way. Having eaten this dish for nearly 40 years, I found it quite surprising to be told I was wrong about something so familiar from my own culture. An interesting experience, to say the least.

Above average HK cafe with generous portions of noodles and wantons. Was recommended this restaurant from the nearby Asian grocer. The noodles portion was generous and the wantons here have a lot of filling. The chilli wantons has a good kick, which makes it a much better experience. The price is on the higher side for wanton noodles, hence a bit hesitant to give this place a 5 star. Overall a good experience and would recommend anyone looking for a HK wanton mee fix.

We went a couple times., mostly for the Hong Kong milk tea. The first time, the tea seemed unsweetened.. Then we found out that there was a little bit of condensed milk at the bottom when we were mostly finished drinking. Thinking that we got the system down.. Next time we would just stir the tea before enjoying it because the condensed milk makes or breaks the authentic Hong Kong milk tea in our book. Unfortunately, that was not the case, because when we went back to order it again, there was no condensed milk in the tea. I would suggest leaving some condensed milk packets out for people to add to their tea like the sugar packets. The tea tastes really good but without condensed milk.. It isn't a Hong Kong milk tea.
