Quite hard to estimate the size of this large Japanese restaurant. Only the deepest quarter is shoeless, and the front room had about 5 tables for 4 out of five or six rooms overall. Menu features soba, but has a full spectrum up to banquets meals. They gave me an English menu without my asking, and it seems kind of out-of-date. I had already checked with them in my best Japanese about just getting a drink (since I already ate lunch). Garden is pleasant but not large and no music. Coffee wasn't an option and the default tea wasn't mentioned, but must come free. No Wi-Fi.
My oolongcha was fine, but I was stretching it as a place to rest and study for a bit. I'm still in willing to call it a high four stars overall on the atmosphere and because I like soba.
And Google Maps is again using the wrong shoebox. Okay, I answered the question about what I spent, but I think most people spend two or three thousand yen.
