The food was so good. My son pretty much ate it all. That's all that was left of his bag. We had the alligator bites and the crab 🦀 bites are so good. I would definitely order them again. Maria was our waiter. She was wonderful. Happy and seem to enjoy her job.

Pretty mid seafood boil! Coming from out of state, I was craving a seafood boil and always like to get one whenever out of town when they're available. For $103 + tip for take out I ordered the large catch (cajun sauce mild); 2 clusters of snow crab legs, 1 lb shrimp with head, 1 lb crawfish, 1 lb of black mussels, side of extra corn, and a side of rice. This fed 3 adults. The sauce was delicious! Mild had the perfect kick. The snow crab legs were just okay... 1 cluster was cooked perfectly and the other was over cooked and rubbery. The shrimps were definitely over cooked and very hard to peel. The crawfish and mussels were pretty good. The corn was super sweet and perfect! If anything, the sauce and corn really made the seafood boil. If it's the only spot around OKC, I'd get it again when in the area.

We had such a great experience at Hook & Reel! The food came out hot, flavorful, and full of that perfect Cajun spice kick. Everything from the shrimp to the crab legs was cooked just right, and the sauces were absolutely delicious. Messy in the best way possible! Our server, Angie, was amazing. She was super friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed the entire time. She checked on us often without being intrusive, kept the drinks full, and even made great recommendations that turned out to be spot on. You could tell she really cared that we enjoyed our meal.

Aleshia was so helpful making excellent recommendations for my family as first time customers! The food was absolutely delicious came out extremely quickly and for how many people we had the price was great! Highly recommend asking for Aleshia very kind great customer service and very prompt with fresh drinks which I look for when giving tips!

Jacob was above board when it came to answering or providing a great 1st dining experience. He made sure we had everything we needed and even made sure I got some dessert for my birthday. We will definitely request him the next time we come.

The snow crab, sausage, and rice tasted amazing. Even the potatoes tasted great (I don’t like potatoes). The fried alligator tasted great too! Server Hannah was very nice, and attentive. 10/10 would recommend :) inside was also very clean. Thank you Hannah

Wife and I came in and both ordered the All You Can Eat for $40 per person. The seafood was outstanding! We had crawfish, mussels, shrimp, and crab legs! The sauces that accompany the seafood is top notch! We loved the mild Cajun! It was our first time dining there and needless to say... We will definitely be back!!!

Date night with the husband meant I was craving a seafood boil. Visiting Oklahoma while I have been living in Texas has been a bit difficult for me when I come by. The food scene comparatively means the TX is better OK by a landslide. Why? The immigrants, duh! They put their soul and soles into their cooking and this place was a nice change of pace from what I normally get. But here's the low down. You cannot do two specials at once, why? Because... they're specials. You're not meant to combine them with other things. So get over that. Our server Ryan was awesome and patient with us and explained what we wanted to know so here it is! Ayce special is basically $48 per person. They say one but they also do let you know about their automatic gratuity that is included. The entire table has to do it because dishonest people have taken that mile by ordering one thing and then their friends get the ayce and give their friends more food... so we reap what they sowed. It sucks but get over it. It's 1.5 pounds per round of seafood. So order what you want and do not waste, if you do it's $15 per pound of waste that they charge extra just in case. We took the special blend, medium spice, and had plenty of crab legs, mussels, shrimp head on and off, and sides. Eggs aren't included but they're $2.50 for 2. It comes with 2 potatoes and 1 corn per order but you can order more. We had a great time, though the only thing I could say that the food needs a tad more seasoning. Like a little acid and a little more umami. Maybe more garlic but it was an 8/10 for me. Would we come again and feel sick to our stomach? Yes. Would we bring my family? Also yes.

Thought I'd come back for the Fried Oysters since they were so good last time, but so disappointed this time. Wasn't as fresh, had a funky taste. The fried that came with it were good, but I can't base coming to a restaurant only on its fries. The Lobster Bisque was just okay. They need to step up their game if they want to keep our business!

Never going back.... Absolutely ridiculous. We asked for a pound of shrimp and got half a pound served to us. We paid over /$200 dollars and it did not get made right and we were cut short of what we ordered. We will no be back. Our server was sweet and did what she could, but it was not made right. We stilled tipped .25% as she was sweet and it was not the servers fault. But still. To charge that much and not give what was ordered absolutely freaking insane. The crab was shit too, ya know the have to claw it out of the gummy shell, these assholes need to get their shit together and find a coast contract, it's obvious they just buy the 2# king crab from costco or Sam's for $60, and then charge you $100/# cooked like shit. Yall suck, merry shitsmass bitches.

This place sucks. The food is alright but Crabtown is better. The bigger issue at play is the way the owners treat their wait staff. The owners are rude, condescending, and ignorant. You people need to get off your soap box and get a life. Tell a mother of three who's trying to support her family she should be grateful for getting ripped off by the owners. What a joke. Save yourself the bother DO NOT give these lowlifes your money. If a waitress gets ran out on by a customer with a $100 tab guess who gets to pay for that...the waitress who's making $2.13 an hour. Not the lowlife owner who is spouting bs about how you should be grateful to not be able to pay your bills. Febby or whatever her real name is, go pound sand. Your no Christian, your a freaking joke!

To begin with, the word "Cajun" should never be used to describe this restaurant. Cajun implies bold, well-developed seasoning, and that simply was not the case. What they call a "boil" is actually more like steaming, the shrimp had absolutely no seasoning at all. After we ordered and received our meal, we were told that the "seasoning" comes from the butter and spices poured on top of the seafood. That is not a true boil. A real seafood boil is cooked in seasoned water, whether it's Old Bay, crab boil, or another spice blend, so the flavor is infused throughout the seafood, not added afterward. We were very disappointed and will not be returning.

Very cool crab broil place with an interior that has a ton of character (including a Jack Sparrow lookalike pirate statute that greets you as soon as you walk in). Excellent service and delicious crab/seafood broil plates and combos. Check it out!

Had a wonderful time with the hubs. Fun atmosphere. Bright and inviting. Family friendly. Service was great. Staff was very attentive and helpful. I had the daily special boil and hubs had the crab po-boy. Absolutely amazing. Definitely will try to return when we are in OKC.

Tried to eat at this place and they took forever to take our order. The restaurant wasn't even busy which was crazy to believe because when they sat us 1 group had literally just got done eating and they left. Our waitress only had 2 tables that she was tending to and never came back to check on us or take our order. So we ended up leaving and going to Bubba's instead. Unfortunately we won't be going back to this place.

Absolutely phenomenal. Crab legs are on point along with the seasoning. I had a margarita that was made to perfection. My other half had fried shrimp and hush puppies that were legit! We will be back most definitely.

Walked in Saturday night at 10:28 to eat crab. They're open until 11. "I'm sorry we're closed." If you're closed, post a different time! How rude! I took the time to get here & was willing to give you business. Now you don't have it anymore. BTW, first time to visit H&R.

No wait at 4:45 on a Sunday even though quite a few tables were taken. The service was excellent and the bar tender can make a great Old Fashion. The food was simple to order and customize to what we wanted. The crab bites are very good and came out perfect. The Cajun boil was outstanding in the size of seafood we ordered and was steaming upon arrival. We ate all the while wondering why the place wasn't packed out. They hit the trifecta. Great service, wonderful food and a reasonable price. Thanks!

Wasn't worth the price I ordered the lobster tail and got maybe 4 bites out of it, definitely not worth the money.

The food was excellent, the restaurant was clean and the waitress was very attentive but not aggressive. It was a very pleasant atmosphere.

Nice and clean quiet, it smells good no fishy smells. Their was only one waitress for this huge restaurant, so needless say service was extremely slow. Not to dwell On bad but the catfish was bad. I do not recommend this place. The only reason I gave 2 stars was the calamari and the hush puppies were good.

We were so excited to be eating crab legs for a birthday celebration. To learn of an all you can eat crab leg dinner place we were really excited and enthusiastic about a new place none of us had tried in the past. If it weren't for the birthday wishes I would have left. Really ridiculous place. Our first experience at Hook & Reel approx location - I-40 between MacArthur and Council, OKC . Official address listed on SW 3rd St. Don't bother even entering into your navigation. With ALL THE RULES AND RESTRICTIONS. You immediately feel like you were in an unfriendly environment. Not sure how they stay in business. I'll only list THE FEW rules that stood out to me and made me question why I stayed. (Again a birthday request.) When the server started, I honestly thought he was joking. FIRST RULE: You have 90 minutes to eat period. SECOND RULE: If you leave food, they weigh it and charge you for the WASTE. Horribly high price I don't recall the actual percentage on waste, so they weigh your trash. How ridiculous. THIRD RULE: If ONE person at the table ordered all you could eat, EVERYONE at the table had to order ALL you could eat. The service was okay, but when we were ready to reorder the server was out of sight and we had to wait for second order to be prepared which cut into the 90 minutes. The second order delivered to table was not presented in the bag as first order and it had very little flavor and clusters of crab were smaller and a lot of empty crab-legs. We all ordered all you can eat crab legs and we ate all the food we ordered. One person ordered crab and shrimp. Shrimp was decent. I'm a grown woman and I never waste food. I wasn't raised to waste food or not eat everything I ordered. Eating out is an expensive treat, so to enjoy a meal is thought of and treated as a reward. I am a slow eater & I eat til I get full. Not that it matters, but I'm 5-1 and weigh 105 pounds. I don't overeat. The timeframe and feeling rushed to eat my dinner is not a good feeling at all. Being rushed to stuff your food away is a horrible feeling it was very uncomfortable feeling while eating. I felt pressured the entire time we were there from the moment we sat down. a

It was FANTASTIC! Really good seafood. Hubby had a Cajun boil that had 1/2 lb crawfish, 1/2 lb shrimp, 1/2 lb mussels with 2 potatoes, 2 corn & added sausage. $27. I had dungeness crab with scallops, 1 corn & 2 potatoes. $25. Hubby's mom had catfish basket with sweet potato fries. Catfish was really good. We all had margaritas (delicious!) & our appetizer were crab fries. They were French fries with dungeness crab meat on top. Delicious! We will be back! They had king crab & snow crab. They had clams & blue crab. But that dungeness crab was out of this world! Service with Brandon also phenomenal & then y'all added the big screen with the PPV UFC 300??? You had me at hello...

Awesome meal. We got the seasoned garlic butter shrimp and crab legs, corn potatoes and hush puppies. Five stars and ask for Hannah. She was very sweet and told us how to reheat the boil so it was like fresh.

The combination sauce for the boils is so good. I'd like to take the sauce and put it with my favorite boil from another restaurant. This spot here is charging entirely too much to be serving frozen crawfish during crawfish season, actually charge more than some that are serving fresh/live crawfish. The shrimp in the boils weee good, the mussels and crab legs were about as bad as the crawfish. The fried shrimp was bland and the onion rings were terrible and greasy. Our server was very friendly though.

Try this place! It was so good! Jamie was amazing as well as the food. The fire sauce is perfectly spicy. My lips are still on fire! We will be back!

False advertisement they have a four for $44.00 but you cannot order the way you want too It does not say that you cannot double of the items it just states choose three, but you only have four options there's certain things I don't eat. I don't eat clams and that's one of the options they make up rules how they want to, but it does not state that on the advertisement they give you at the table and it seems like every single time we come they switch up the rules. It's just ridiculous. Do not recommend and it sucks because the food is really good and the sauce is amazing but the service and the management is not customer friendly. We came in today because my birthday is Friday.(I work a lot so this is the only time we can go out with just me and my wife) we came in today and the service was horrible. The waiter was completely rude and disrespectful and literally was not welcoming at all we completely had to walk out. Our food was not even hot. After we waited 45mins For the food, which was not an issue at all, so our food should at least be hot after we waited that long. Definitely the last time and will not be back.

Huge warning watch out for some of the servers here! The service at this restaurant was so so the first time I went here and great the second but today (the third time) we went for my daughters bday and oh boy I do not believe I have ever had worse service anywhere. Takes our appetizer and drinks order delivers drinks but short one brings appetizers and plates but no utensils or napkins and still short said drink. Brings out 5 of 6 meals still no utensils, napkins or missing drink. Brings out 6th meal and missing drink which was a water by the way but still no utensils or napkins. 25 minutes later I have to ask another server for utensils and napkins so she has our server bring them out. Two checks which we had told him in the beginning one is paid with card the other check says $62.00 and has all the correct food and drink items. Server is given $100 bill he leaves comes back with $22 in cash and rushes off. 20 minutes later I have to corner him by the bar because he wasn't pay attention to us trying to get his attention. I ask and he reprints the ticket but this time it is $77.00 with a 18% large party gratuity. When I question what the first ticket that he gave me wasn't the same as this one he's like oh this one is right bro it's in the computer. That's very shady. So is charging a large party gratuity on 6 people. I generally tip 10% or less for poor, 20% for good service and 25-30%+ for great service but he didn't allow this as he base calls stole his tip at the rate he wanted since he added it to the ticket after collecting my money but before giving me my change. Very Shady business practice and if they continue to allow their servers to do the customers this way they'll lose a lot more business

Had 3 adults in our group and a 5 year old. We wanted to do the all you can eat and the 5 year old wanted the kids chicken nuggets. They said we couldn't do the all you can eat unless the child ordered it as well. It's half off for kids under 10 but that's still $20 just for the 5 year old. Forcing your customers to spend $20 on a child that will eat a child's portion of chicken is outrageous.

we had ben here several times food was good .but yesterday we went me and my son and a friend me and my son wanted the all you can eat and my friend wanted a shrimp basket. when we were told that everyone at table had to have the all you can eat. we called the manager out and told him and he confirmed that we all had to have alll you can eat to sit at one table. They said my friend could sit two tables down.so we got up and went to golden corral. i will never go backinto this restaraunt. what if i had my kids do they have to eat all u can eat also. goodbye hook and reel yoo SUCK

Service was great and food was fresh. Wish the po boy had more chicken (there were on two strips on it) but it was good. Definitely loved the sauce on it. I got Cajun fries with it and those were great too. Will definitely be back. We went on a Wednesday during lunch and they were not busy. Definitely worth going for the lunch specials.

Everything about the experience was intriguing. Prices were great, food was flavorful, service was prompt and friendly.

I really enjoyed the experience and the staff is really helpful. Ordered the onions rings appetizer and it's beer battered. We got the Flounder and Catfish baskets one with sweet potato waffle fries and the other with fries. Both really good and served with tarter sauce. They have a really good remoulade that was better with the fish.

I was traveling and was too tired to go out but did not want to eat mediocre foods at the hotel. So I ordered a few items from Hook & Reel via Uber Eats. To my delight, the foods were excellent, comparable to other highly rated Cajun Seafood places in major cities such as New Orleans and Los Angeles. Keep up the tasty cooking team Hook & Reel.

Was in town for business and saw this restaurant, looked at the reviews and they weren't stellar but thought I would give it a try. I am so glad the reviews were wrong! The food here was wonderful. I had the shrimp Po boy, they give you the shrimp chips to start which were a nice little change. The remoulade on the Poboy was super flavorful and had a little kick to it. I was pleasantly surprised with. I couldn't even finish the whole sandwich because it was so big. I got mine with the sweet potato fries and they were crispy and wonderful. The staff was amazing I had a wonderful waitress I wish I could remember her name. The restaurant is new so it is very clean and well kept. Next time I'm in town I will definitely return, and I can't recommend this restaurant to my friends and family in OKC enough.

A must try in OKC. Food was on point. Customer service was amazing and the ambiance is really cool. We had a great experience!

The food was good, the service was good but I was disappointed in that they call themselves a Cajun restaurant but do not have the normal Cajun fare such as gumbos, ettoufes, and other rice based seafood dishes. I had the crab salad. It was ok, but I expected bigger chunks of crab meat. So, if you are looking for seafood boils and maybe an east coast style of seafood, this may be a good place. But if you are looking for a bowl of gumbo on a cold day, go elsewhere.

Great food, drinks and apps, excellent service. I would highly recommend! We got a shrimp salad- they offered boiled shrimp to accomadate a dietary restriction. We ordered a boil and it was perfection. Shrimp poboy was awesome. Wings were great as well, and I had the shrimp basket with sweet potato fries that were perfectly cooked. Our drinks were never empty!

I called in for an order Clearly stated what I wanted and they gave me something else I called to confirm that I was missing stuff and the owner acted like it was my fault. He told me that I should had known the price for what I got ($7 more) The workers need to be properly trained to take order over the phone. Not to mention when I walked in a waiter brought food to the table and everything was wrong . Something is off here Don't let Mary take your order.

Place is nice and clean. Server was attentive. Portions on the crab leg clusters were bad. My youngest Daughter got one cluster and they were nice sized for snow crab legs. My cluster was barely big enough to even get the meat out. I wouldn't serve that cluster to a toddler. I've been here several times thinking it was a fluke deal that day. It's not, this is normal for this place. If you want to pay full price for small crab leg clusters that barely have any meat, go ahead.

Amazing freest boils and nice atmosphere. Service was good at the bar. Good beverage selection and seafood was fresh and tasty.

I went and tried HOOK & REEL cajun seafood and bar for the first time. My experience was great, and the food was awesome. My server was Shiara, and she was great. She never let my glass go empty, and she was very helpful. Now the food was awesome. We ordered crab bites and raw oysters for our appetizers. Then we ordered the oyster basket with sweet potato fries and a small catch with classic, mussels, shrimp, and lobster tail. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. It was an absolutely great experience, and I will be back.

Went there today (a Thursday) to try their All You Can Eat menu and it was definitely worth it. We had ordered Cajun fries, which were fine nothing spectacular. Also, the garlic bread was very much plain, I wouldn't order it again. But our server was great, male, didn't catch his name. We ordered the crab legs, shrimp-head off with the corn & potatoes in the garlic butter sauce. It was delicious. We told him to just keep the crab legs coming. We will be returning often.

What a fun place! The seafood was really good. You might be served by a human or a robot . The Sports Animal was broadcasting there at lunchtime which made it even better.

The hook and reel sauce has a lot of different seasonings and flavors. It is all of the  seasoning in one! Its more on the sweet side vs savory side.  They offer small boils, create your own boil and there chosen boil combinations & kids meals.  There is a full bar. However my server put in a top shelf mango margarita when I ordered the house one. When I brought to her attention she said its just a couple of dollars. I told her that was a few dollars more.  She rung up the top shelf liquor on her own. It was the 1st day but to up charge almost $4 was ridiculous for something I didn't  ask. I had to ask for the 15% off that they were  offering from all their social media post.  My servers said she forgot to put it on my ticket.  But I heard her  tell her 3 other tables about it when they were ordering! The complimentary seafood chips are  different, but something to snack on. They offer a lot of good appetizers choices, kids menu and a host of other seafood options, soups and salads! My crab legs were on the small side for a cluster.  I'm glad I got the muscles because they filled me up and were  okay inside the hook and reel sauce. The sweetness of the sauce wasn't my favorite. They will shake your bag and roll it down for  you or pour into the tray or onto the table if you like. I feel the bag keeps the heat in longer. I will return to try something  different... like the steamed oysters in garlic butter.

Ambiance is trendy Cajun theme vibe. Food is tasty, sauce ranging from mild to spicy based on your preference (adequate for my wife and children). Huge size of crawfish if you're into that and don't miss out on their appetizers. Crab bites, chips, wings with mango habanero .. yum!! Nice inside dining in the warmer months and I could only imagine how fun it would be when winter comes to dine Cajun seafood in OKC area. Cocktails are tasty and their prices reflect that they are proud! Plenty of beer selection btw and you might want to consider to sit by the bar as well since it's lively decorated.

I'm not a seafood fan but my husband LOVES a good crawfish boil. Not found one he cares for in the Okc metro yet. We ran across Hook & Reel by chance and he loved it! We sat in the Bar area. Staff were attentive and provided good service. Only complaint is there are no mushrooms in the boil options like traditional Cajun boils we are use to. Also, we were not fans of the ranch. Minor concerns. Overall, the atmosphere was great, tons of seating, huge room with a stage m the back. Classy joint for seafood compared to other places. My husband said the crawfish were big and meaty. He really enjoyed all of it! We will definitely be back!!

We had such a great meal here today. My husband had one of the boils, and I had the fried combo plate. We couldn't imagine how they could have done anything better. The crab bites is the perfect appetizer!

This place was overpriced and flooded wasn't good. I drove 30mins to try this place what a waste of gas.

So would not recommend unless you are ok having there "pre-measured" combos. It's sad when they are unwilling to remove sub out a higher priced product for a lower priced one. The only option they will give you is to build your own at almost 3 times the cost of the combo. Management staff is not friendly or customer facing. No concern for why I didn't want the crab legs, never ones asked if it was preference or allergy. This place used to be so good, no issue subbing crab legs for shrimp in the past.

My friends and I celebrated my birthday here this week. It was amazing. Way better than I expected! The food was delicious! Alicia, our server was so sweet and patient with us! Definitely will be back.
