I have heard about this dinner show for a number of years. We had a blast! The evening entertainment is campy and fun with extremely talented performers. Lots of good energy and lovely voices. And FUNNY! The meal is family style with more than enough to eat. If you are on a diet, then this meal may not be a good idea - unless it's a cheat day 😃 We had a good time from start to finish and we would do it again.

Would recommend coming here at least once in your life! If your trip is a once-in-a-lifetime trip, I’d recommend stopping by. This is a musical theater show in Fort Wilderness Resort, and offers a lot of corny jokes. All the actors had personality and they often interact with guests. Service was also very timely and made sure everything’s well. The food itself is also very good, especially the chicken and ribs. I also liked the cornbread and Mac and cheese a lot. Overall, this is a very enjoyable experience.

Absolutely love Hoop Dee Doo Revue. Great entertainment and food. My wife and I were celebrating milestone birthdays (45 for her and 50 for me). My wife wife had wine, and I had beer. Delicious helpings of chicken, ribs, mashed potatoes, baked beans, and bread. Save room for dessert because the strawberry shortcake is the best. Entertainment is one of the best at Walt Disney World. Of course, the cast is still wearing the same style costumes since the show began. So maybe an update will be helpful. But the cast is very talented. Families and couples will enjoy this gem in Walt Disney World. Reservations are strongly recommended. Enjoy!

I can't believe I've waited this long to see Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review. Everything was absolutely a delight. Check-in was super easy and efficient, unlike many Disney restaurants. Everyone was seated quickly and the first course was already waiting at the table. Perfect! The menu is pure Americana and was delicious! Service was great. The entertainment is in three acts and coordinates with the various courses in the meal. The six performers were talented and engaging. They travel all around the theater, including the balcony! There's a lot of audience participation and family-friendly humor. I left feeling full and uplifted. Bravo!

Google
MUST DO - MUST DO - MUST DO Highly recommend - this was my 5th time here and each time I enjoy the show and food more and more. We elected to try the balcony seating this time around...and although we saw everything, I did not enjoy turning around in my chair to see the show everytime something was going on. I will only purchase ground floor seats from this point forward. I am diabetic and put in a request for some diabetic friendly food which the chef happily arranged. It was flawless and some of the best food I've had there. I think it may have been better than what everyone else was eating. Not too much different...smoked chicken and green beans along with cole slaw and salad with light dressing on the side. Even the dessert was modified slightly with just strawberries instead of adding the cake and whipped topping. The entertainment is just amazing - those cast members performing in the show still had so much energy and stamina and we were the third show of the night. Such a great script and music was amazing - something for everyone in the entire family - there is even elements thrown in that interact with the audience. It's pretty amazing how this show ages so well and even our newest generation is appreciating the humor and nostalgia. I am ready for show #6 next time!!!

Google
Awesome dinner and a show experience. I thought it was going to be more of a wait to get in after they opened the doors, but they quickly moved the line taking each party to their assigned seats. There was already a salad, coleslaw and cornbread with butter waiting on the table when we arrived. Our server popped up just a few minutes later asking about drinks. The actual food came a little after the opening act. Food tasted good. It consisted of fried chicken and ribs, with Mac n Cheese, mashed potatoes and beans. The food tasted good, although it wasn't very hot. The show itself was very cute, funny, and with a lot of audience participation. I think the actors did fantastic. It gets loud at times, but we sure had a good time.

Google
We had read reviews and thought it worth going to since I was there as a kid 40 years ago. Some reviews didn’t like the food, but we thought it good with the ribs being the best. The show is corny and that’s what it’s going for. You’ll be entertained if you just enjoy and play along. I wouldn’t recommend if you have a headache as the washboard playing (I remembered as a kid!) is boisterous! The cast was clearly talented. I wish the show’s script could give them a bit more to dive into. It felt clear they aren’t being used for their whole potential and could soar with a little more substance. I liked the courses spaced out. I enjoyed the piano player and banjo!! Great job making memories!!

Google
This is a bucket list Disney experience. If you regularly go to Disney definitely do it. The food is good (nothing exceptional- but it’s good). The atmosphere is fantastic and the show is great and interactive. Really enjoyed the experience! They did a great job with my wife’s gluten requirements as well.

Yelp
The boat from the Magic Kingdom to the Wilderness Campground was so slow, we showed up a little late for the 4pm show yesterday (Sunday June 30). Luckily for us, the show started later as our salad, coleslaw, and cornbread were already on our table. The next round of food consisted of fried chicken pieces, beef ribs, mashed potatoes, cowboy beans, and macaroni & cheese. I noticed tables with kids can also have fries. Anyway, although the chicken wasn't as good here as at Plaza Inn (Disneyland), I still really enjoyed it. The best two sides were the coleslaw and the cornbread. As for the show, it was really good with lots of positive and interactive energy. During the show, one of the troupe members acknowledged my birthday, which was awesome! Highly recommend!

Erick W.

Yelp
Wonderful, interactive and engaging show! The food is good too! Fried chicken and bbq ribs plus Cole slaw, corn bread, salad, ranch beans, mashed potatoes, Mac n cheese, and strawberry shortcake for dessert. Drinks were soft drinks and tea or waters The service was outstanding and quick and the food was served hot (or cold). The venue is spacious and family style dining (may sit with others). The performers engage easily and often with the audience and there are even some surprises that include very interactive audience participation! We enjoyed and recommend it! Our kids loved it and we did too!

Yelp
A truly exceptional dinner theater show that will keep me coming back hopefully more times than I can count! While it is a little pricey, pricing varies on where you're sitting and the one good thing about this place is that beer, sangria, and wine are included and you can buy mixed drinks or craft beers for a small up charge. You're able to start checking in about 15 to 20 minutes early and that is when you receive the area you're sitting in, there is not a single bad place to sit and I honestly like the second tier because it is far back enough that you can see the entire show especially when they go into the crowd every so often. The service here is exceptional however the last time I went, we almost sent an email because our waitress was horrible. Towards the end if she did get a little bit better but me and my table wished we could have gotten a little more to drink because she only came over a couple times throughout. The food you get is cooked perfectly and my favorite thing here is their exceptional Fried Chicken which is crispy just the right amount and unbelievably juicy. I love how easy it is to eat and I have had more than enough Fried Chicken while I'm here to last me forever and yet I still want more! The cornbread is super moist and their Strawberry Shortcake dessert is truly a work of art. If I could eat the entire thing myself I would but I have to share it with everyone at the table. The show itself and the entire restaurant is themed to the Western and Old West times. I love how everything looks here and the show itself has made me laugh so hard a couple times that I almost did a spit take with my drink! Overall an exceptional dinner theater show that you definitely need to experience once in your life if you are in the Disney area. Reservations are highly recommended because they tend to sell out absolutely every single show!

Yelp
Oh, wow! What a fun experience! This is a must-do. We ended up getting lucky with last minute tickets. We sat up at the top, which had a great view. The seats are a little cheaper upstairs, so it was a win all the way around. If you want more interaction with the performers, then you will want to sit downstairs. Honestly, you can't go wrong wherever you sit but I really liked the balcony. The performers were a hoot. I was genuinely laughing- it was so entertaining. The food was excellent. Way too much for me to eat but it was definitely delicious...especially the cornbread. They do have vegetarian options, if needed. I hope to go back one day. I 100% recommend this for anyone!

Yelp
Hoop-Dee-Doo is a true Disney classic! Between the funny show, great fried chicken, and scrumptious straw - strawberry - strawberry shortcake it is worth every cent. Being one of the longest running dinner shows ever the servers have it down to a science, I swear they can read your mind and have whatever you're craving at your table before you can even finish asking for it. The show and Pioneer Hall always give you the feeling of home. If you have a spare night on your vacation, heck even if you don't, you won't go wrong taking the trip over for one of the best shows ever.

Julia B.

Yelp
This dinner is definitely a "Disney" dinner spot. The live music is loud & interactive with the crowd, but if that's what you are looking for it's a lot of fun! You don't get any choices on your food, so make sure you look at the menu before you go. You get typical southern food (fried chicken, baked beans, ribs, etc) that is decent - however I wish we could have gotten some vegetables like collard greens or something like that. The waitresses are pretty good about keeping your table & drinks full (I would recommend the white sangria!), even though the place is quite crowded. If you have time beforehand, get a mojito from the outside bar - they're the best thing I had there! If you're looking for a Disney dinner, it's fun! Food: C+ Drinks: B+ Service: B Ambiance: B-

Yelp
Delicious food, great service and an amazing and hilarious show! This is a great family night out! Definitely give it a try! Worth the money!

Yelp
I had a fantastic time at the Hoop Dee Doo on my trip to Florida! I went on vacation with my bf and his family and they have been doing this dinner and a show for years. They were hyping it up big time and I was excited to see it for myself. I really loved the cast and the show itself, it was very entertaining! The servers were also very speedy and catering. They did get into character which also added to the overall fun! They knew when to come out and service our table without disrupting the show. The food felt unlimited! We had so much. It was all your typical bbq meal and it was delicious! I left stuffed and satisfied. I was also surprised by the unlimited alcoholic drink option. I think it made the show more enjoyable and funny ;) I think this is a great show to see and you can definitely bring the whole family (with or without young kids!) lol would recommend!

Ellie H.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the service was ok it wasn't the best but if you are in Disney I recommend going. The performers interact with the audience and it is a kind atmosphere.

Yelp
Food. Good. Ambiance so so. Service. Good my coke wa never empty. Ate lots of chicken. The yellow dress lady was pretty.

Yelp
My sister got us tickets for Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review last night. It's located in the back of Fort Wilderness. To get there, you park in the main Fort Wilderness lot and catch the bus to the back of the compound. Make sure you allocate travel time for that exchange! Some people came from the Magic Kingdom parking lot by bus and transferred to the Hoop-Dee-Doo bus when they got to the lot. The whole feel of the campground and Pioneer lodge makes you feel like you are in an old timey style show. Being Disney, they are incredibly organized and mindful about food allergies as well. As soon as I checked in they had me speak to the allergy chef and labeled all the food they send out. The food was reallllyyy good. The waiter was so kind and beyond attentive. There was not a moment when anything on our table was empty (including fried chicken)! The show itself was so much fun. The musicians were incredibly talented and funny! You felt so involved in the show and the humor was family friendly abs funny. If you were there last night I'm sure you heard my laugh over the crowd lol. I would definitely recommend this show. It was Ana amazing way to end our vacation with a little (different) Disney magic!

Shari W.

Yelp
Very expensive for poor quality food and non attentive waitress. I asked for a glass of water 3 times, we were never asked if we wanted additional food when the small amounts of food that we were given in small bowls were empty. We left hungry and disappointed. Actors in the show were very talented , unfortunately the script they had to follow was silly and boring .

Victoria R.

Yelp
The performers were top notch!!!!! I haven't been to this show in 20 years and I was smiling ear to ear! I ate so much I had to be rolled out and the service is great at noticing when you are out of an item and brings it immediately! Only half way done with my Mac n cheese and they refilled it the cornbread was so good I had to buy some to bring home & the entire atmosphere is involved and apart of the show! Not a bad seat in the house

Yelp
This has been a family go to since I was a kid back in the 80's. Missed it so much on our last trip in 2021 but back her visiting again in 2023 and the show didn't disappoint!! Loved the cast, the servers and everyone that was part of the team. The food is good, not great but it's the ambiance and show that keeps us going back year after year after year !! If you've never experienced it I highly recommend it for a great night of family fun !!! They get the whole crowd involved and there's always a few surprises at every show !!!

Joyce L.

Yelp
First time at this show and it was a great experience! To get to the location you have to take a shuttle from the parking lot. Upon arrival we were early so we had to wait outside for a little bit. There was a lot of people for the 415? show but everything was very organized. Drinks, bread, and salad were served first, then the performance started. Then another pause in the performance for the entree of ribs and chicken before the performance continued and concluded with strawberry shortcake for dessert. The food was very good and plentiful and there was enough time to eat between the performances. Service was efficient and friendly. This show was had a lot of audience participation which really made it fun. I would definitely come back!

Yelp
My husband and I frequent WDW often and fell in love with the Fort Wilderness Campgrounds during the pandemic. We kept hearing amazing things about the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue and have been waiting patiently for this dinner show to reopen. Upon our most recent visit back to WDW a few weeks ago, we were finally able to dine at and watch the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue and it did not disappoint. If you're on the fence about whether it's worth it, absolutely yes! The food is great and plentiful, the drinks are equally great and plentiful (did someone say, "all you can drink?"), service is on-point and exactly what you would expect from Disney, and the show was funny, entertaining, and a good time. The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is located at the Fort Wilderness Campgrounds. It can be a little tricky to get to as the establishment is located on the opposite end of the property from the main resort entrance. If you're dropped off at the entrance of Fort Wilderness, I believe the most efficient way to get to the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue would be to take the campground's internal bus system to get to the other end of the property. A better option, in my opinion, especially if you're staying on WDW property or can park at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), is to take a boat to the Fort Wilderness Campgrounds from the resort-boat-launches outside of the entrance gates of Magic Kingdom. The boat will drop you off at the dock area at Fort Wilderness and the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is a short walk from the dock. To get back to your on-property hotel or TTC, you would take the boat back to Magic Kingdom and board your appropriate bus (or the ferry/monorail to return to TTC) from there. Check in for dinner can be completed online via the Walt Disney World app or in-person just across from the area selling tickets for the show. Dinner shows run a few times a night. We attended the last show of the night and the energy, performance, food, and service did not waver from excellence. We ended up getting Tier 2 seating which turned out to be pretty good seating fairly close to the stage on the outskirts of the first floor. We had no regrets about the seating choice. Upon being seated, we were immediately greeted by our server with the starters for the meal and for our drink orders to be taken. Within a few minutes, our drinks landed on our table. Service was friendly, quick, and attentive. Food is all-you-care-to-eat and is served family style. Their main menu features their house cornbread (yum!), coleslaw, beans, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, pork ribs, fried chicken, and strawberry shortcake for dessert. They offer plant-based options as well. The drinks included with the meal price are most of the typical non-alcoholic beverages (i.e. soda, juice, coffee, tea, milk) and select wine, beers and sangrias. The food was tasty and plentiful and the drinks were bottomlessly good. We loved the red sangria! The show is entertaining and a bunch of fun. It isn't saturated with a bunch of Disney characters parading, but still has the quality and fun you would expect from one of their shows. We laughed, we sang, and "participated" in the finale. The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is a must stop visit on one of your trips to WDW and should definitely be part of your plans if you're staying at Fort Wilderness. It was one of our highlights to this most recent trip and we would definitely be back again in the future. (A few notes: An advanced dining reservation (ADR) is highly recommended as the show fills up quickly. If you do plan to try and get in via an ADR, you can do so on the Walt Disney World website or app on your device. You will need to pre-pay, but their current cancellation policy grants a full refund if you cancel no less than 24-hours before. The cast and show do a good job of honoring special celebrations. If you're trip coincides with a special celebration. such as a birthday or anniversary, definitely come and partake in the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue.)

Yelp
A fun dining experience at Disney's Fort Wilderness. The cast members are efficient and friendly and the characters in the old west style show are lots of fun and interact with the guests. The singing is good, the songs are funny, our kids especially loved it. The food is also excellent (and normal as my kids would say). Mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, ribs, fried chicken, beans, Cole slaw, salad, cornbread and strawberry shortcake. We were in seating level 2 and were very pleased. The restroom is just outside the dining facility. You do need to plan ahead to get there as Fort Wilderness (and Pioneer Hall) are a little out of the way to get there.

Bella B.

Yelp
This dinner show is a true standout of Disney dinning and entertainment! For tips make sure you arrive early to explore the area around pioneer hall. There's a bar, arcade, playground and gift shop nearby. You can get a bad seat at the show as some a really far back and some are behind walls where the stage can't even be scene. The good news is the actors move around the dinner theater and do alot of guest interaction. The show is very entertaining and the performances take true talent! The food is also really good which isn't typical for dinner theater. Standouts are the cornbread, ribs, fried chicken and Mac and cheese. This show is 100% worth checking out and lots of fun!

Joe H.

Yelp
This dinner show was amazing! All you can eat! All you can drink! And the staff were incredible! The ambiance feels like an old pioneer town theater, and the show pulls people from the audience to participate. This was one of our favorite experiences on our trip to Disney and well worth every penny to partake.

Ryan C.

Yelp
My girlfriend heard a lot about this dinner/show and wanted to close out our trip with this for our last dinner. The reservation was a little tough to get but we got one on the Disney website for 8:30 on a Wednesday. To get here, you have to take a shuttle to the Fort Wilderness Resort and then take the campsite shuttle from there to get to Pioneer Hall. We didn't know about this until we were getting there but luckily they were just about to get people seated and got in pretty quickly. We decided to sit on the balcony because it was slightly cheaper and we also did not want to have to participate if i'm being honest. The food was way better than I was expecting. The fried chicken and ribs were both very good. The chicken was very crispy and juicy, the ribs were falling off the bone tender but not mushy. The mac and cheese, cornbread, and baked beans were also solid. We also had strawberry shortcake for dessert but it was enormous and we were way too full by that point. The show itself was pretty entertaining. The Pioneer Hall players kept our attention in-between bites and we had a really good time. This was a great family friendly dinner show that can really fill you up and keep you captivated for 2 hours. Pretty worth it.

Monte M.

Yelp
We've ate here four times and it's just as fun the fourth time as it is the first. The dry comedy never gets old. The food is always fantastic, the actors are great, the servers are good. Just not much you can say bad about this. When you decide to do something off the beaten path at Disney, this is a must do.

Annie K.

Yelp
What a fun show and ayce experience! It's located in Fort Wilderness and we took a bus there from the hotel. We were right in the front of the stage and service was impeccable Disney style. The table was set with salad, best cornbread and coleslaw. Salad had a nice dressing and cornbread was delish. I didn't really care for the coleslaw. The main course of ribs and fried chicken is what Im talking about. I ordered two orders of chicken haha, my favorite. It came with creamy mash potatoes, best mac n cheese and cowboy beans. Dessert was amazing strawberry shortcake. Definitely had to roll me out of there. Limit 2 alcohol drinks and everything nonalcoholic you can ask for more! Great experience!

Cheryl D.

Yelp
This was a hoot. It was so kitchy and fun. Everyone is in on the action and the food was so good. Probably the best strawberry shortcake I've ever had. Not really vegetarian or vegan friendly. Great time though. You really feel like you've gone back in time, the decor, the way everything was served, all of it.

Jason D.

Yelp
If you've never been, you're missing out on a Disney hidden gem. She is 3 times nightly (check schedule) and is a great time. The food starts with a salad similar to your Olive Garden and the best cornbread ever. Main course is bbq ribs, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, Mac n cheese, and beens. Unlimited drinks including select beers and sangria. The service is top notch by the servers and the entertainers are non stop funny and amazing. The dessert is strawberry shortcake which is prob the best I've ever had honestly. The whole atmosphere is just a fun good time with something for everyone.

Stephanie G.

Yelp
The show was fabulous, the service was top-notch and the food was delicious. We ate way too well! Super flavorful and meaty fried chicken, ribs, mashed potatoes, very creamy macaroni and cheese, delicious cornbread, good salad and coleslaw just like my Granny used to make. The Strawberry Shortcake is out of this world. I wish I had room for more. Our server, Heather, was friendly and helpful. A+. A great experience for our family.

Scott H.

Yelp
Hoop Dee was a fun family experience - reminds me of summer camp skits and songs with some decent humor. The music and singing is great. The food was decent (not great, it's a camp thing after all). Highly recommend the floor seating.

Michelle P.

Yelp
I've been wanting to go to this dinner show forever, but it never worked out and it was closed for Covid for over 2 years. It's finally back up and I was able to snag a reservation during our fort wilderness stay. When you arrive, check in on the MDX (my Disney experience) app and then you still go to the person to get your ticket for your table. If you have an allergy or anything, you'll also talk to the chef at that time which was awesome. I talked to him about not eating pork and learned that only the ribs have pork, the beans are completely vegetarian these days. So is the cornbread and everything else! There are 3 showtimes and we did the early 4pm one. I do feel like they rush you on eating and the show part isn't as long as I expected since they do bits here and there. I thought the salad dressing was really good, but it was strange that they considered the cole slaw as salad. For food, we didn't get the ribs since they were pork obviously, so we just got a lot of fried chicken which was yummy. The beans in the end we didn't like too much. They tasted more like chili beans than bbq beans. The Mac and cheese was delicious. Honestly, I couldn't stop eating it. I didn't have much of the mashed potatoes because that's not really my thing and also the Mac was just too good. For dessert they give a big strawberry shortcake which I don't usually like but it was so good. The whipped cream was obviously homemade and you could taste the sugar crystals in the strawberries. It was honestly delicious. It's all family style and they'll bring more if you want, but we were just two people so we had plenty. Soft drinks, beer, wine, and sangria were all included! The show was a comedy improv with music, set about 200 years ago and very Americana. I probably don't need to go back now that I've been once, unless someone really wanted to go for a birthday, but it is definitely something to do once.

Ashley O.

Yelp
This was a really cute evening. The food is a more rustic, family style dinner of fried chicken, creamy mac and cheese, Cole slaw, salad, cornbread, and beans. It finished off with a strawberry shortcake. The food was fine, nothing to really write home about but you're not really going there for the food as much as the show. A big plus was the pitchers of sangria to share among the table. It comes in red or white. Overall it's a fun night out for a group of friends.

Roberta K.

Yelp
As always an amazing time. First time since they opened back up and this was the actual first time for my 7 year old twin boys. The show is as funny as ever and the food is always good. Meal started with salad, corn bread and coke slaw. It was all really good. Meal came with fried chicken which was hot and juicy so good. Ribs which had really good flavor. The mashed potatoes and Mac and Cheese where fantastic. Baked beans none of us liked. I was disappointed they didn't have green beans anymore. I saw they where on the alternate diet menu so I asked for them but they said they didn't have them anymore. Dinner also comes with beer, white or red sangria, and coke products. All of this is included and unlimited. Is it pricey yes. But we all had a great time (3 generations) which makes it worth it to me. Forgot you finish the meal off with strawberry shortcake

Nicole F.

Yelp
FIVE STARS!!! This is BY FAR our favorite thing to do/place to eat at Disney. It is SO worth the money, and for an all you can eat it is definitely fairly priced. The food is so good, a southern home cooked meal. Fried chicken, ribs, mac and cheese, corn bread, coleslaw, all you can drink beer and sangria. The show is hilarious and interactive and we would go every single week if we could afford to!

Kim W.

Yelp
The show was so much fun and the performers are amazing. The food is pretty good too. Unfortunately the service is very poor. We went to the third show, so that might have been why our waitress seemed done with everything. She paid very little attention to us. The food and drinks were very slow to come out. We felt like we were bothering her every time we needed another drink. But the other servers didn't seem anymore friendly. Because of the way the tables are set up, my husband and I were faced away from the stage, so every time the performers were on stage we would have to turn around. Not only was that annoying, but every time I would turn around I was in the way of servers trying to get by. It's a very weird set up.

Minnie L.

Yelp
2 hour meal plus musical show at WDW Pioneer Village. The meal includes some fried chicken, bbq ribs, baked beans, garden salad with cheese, creamy coleslaw, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, cornbread and bottomless tea or soda. Only 2 alcoholic drinks limit per customer and only specific drinks are part of that list. For dessert there's one huge strawberry shortcake. Fun for the whole family. The show was fun and full of energy.

Luke L.

Yelp
Hoop-Dee-Doo was originally launched in 1974 and it is currently one of the longest running dinner shows in the United States. There are three showing times each day - 4 PM, 6:15 PM, and 8:30 PM. Ticket ranges from $64 ~ $72 (tax and gratuity included) depending on the seating option. I made a 6:15 PM reservation because I didn't want to get back to my hotel after midnight (2 hours for the show, 30 minutes to get back to the parking lot, and additional driving time). You can pick the tickets up at the booth right next to the dining venue (The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort). [How to get to the venue]: Guests can take the free ferry from Magic Kingdom (located right outside of the front park entrance), but you will want to give yourself up to 1.5 hour of travel time. Our party started to wait in line at 4:35 PM and it was about a 30-minute wait. My friend got really impatient and asked the staff about how far the venue is located. When the staff said "about two miles away", my friend realized that walking was simply not an option. The ferry ultimately left at 5:15 PM and arrived to The Campsites (2nd stop) at 5:40 PM. [Menu]: This is a all-you-can-eat home-style Southern cuisine with unlimited Bud Light / Yuengling beer, red/white sangria, Frontera Chardonnay, Merlot, and sodas. The meal started with corn bread (a bit cold but very delicious) and starter salad was really decent (no crazy dressing - simple just the way I like it). Fried chicken tasted just a-okay, but their smoked BBQ pork ribs, mashed potatoes (didn't have super smooth texture, but flavor was great), and cowboy bean were fantastic! The show hyped up their strawberry short cake and it definitely lived up to the expectation (not overly sweet and surprisingly good)! The show itself was fun, interactive, and pretty funny! It ended exactly at 8 PM and overall this is absolutely a must do activity at Disney World!

Yelp
Fun lively show with tasty BBQ, breaks in entertainment to enjoy the dinner & dessert, and plenty good natured silliness to laugh at. Dinner is served family style by placing it on the table and passed around to those sharing your table with you. Salad and cornbread is quickly served, then later the ribs, chicken, and sides are brought out during a break, then eventually the strawberry shortcake. Get there a little early and check in so you don't miss any of the fun. Very convenient if you are staying at the Cabins or Campsites at Fort Wildrness, but since it is at the settlement at the back of Fort Wilderness near the boat docks, be sure to leave enough time to use the internal buses from the front parking lot or to take a boat from the Magic Kingdom.

Yelp
Hoop-Dee-Doo gets 5 stars, because of our CM Alyn. This man went above and beyond to find something that my extremely picky 5 year old would eat. After striking out 3 times (because the shape was wrong...don't ask), he came back with a bow full of fresh strawberries and plain vanilla ice cream. It was a hit! Onto the rest of us. The food was very good, and well seasoned. The only downside for all of us were the baked beans. None of us were fans. The show. The show was funny with a lot of adult humor. The cast was funny, and quick on their feet, and we loved the audience participation. Overall, we would go back. Especially if we had Alyn again!

Yelp
The performers are amazing! Funny and very entertaining. The food was ok. The ribs were not very good, but the chicken was! Also the corn bread was delicious and the strawberry shortcake out of this world! Personally I would serve apple pie!! Haha

Yelp
This is the real deal when it comes to dinner shows. Many have come and gone, but the Hoop De Doo has stuck around! First of all, its all you can eat and all you can drink. Thats right, unlimited beer (ok, they probably cut you off if you can't stand straight) so you can get your money's worth real quick! The food is also pretty high quality for a place like this! The fried chicken, salad, and cornbread is outstanding! Its also a great place for the entire family! There is singing, dancing, and lots of audience participation. Kids and adults can be loud and join in on the fun. I also like that its a good balance of family and adult jokes. Nothing too risque, but there are a few clean jokes that go right over the kids' heads. I highly recommend going, especially if you are in a big group! The price is well worth the food and entertainment you get!

Yelp
First of all let me start by saying that you can not park at the venue. You must park at the front and take a shuttle to the place, so plan accordingly. You must then check in at a booth across from the Hall's entrance and then get in line to enter. They do not open the doors until about 8:30. I like that many are the tables are single family tables and you are not sitting at a table with complete strangers like many of teh other dinner shows. It is also pretty roomie. You have space to move around. The entire staff is very friendly. When deciding to go there over other dinner shows, I read somewhere that it was voted best food at a dinner show. That was no lie. It was delicious. The fried chicken, the beans, mashed potatoes, ribs strawberry shortcake......mmmmmm. I would come there just for the food. The show is just a bonus. The show was entertains, witty, funny.... I just wish the show could have started an hour earlier or so; 8:30 is kind of late. They do have some crowd participation opportunities through out the show. As most dinner shows do, they give a shout out to people celebrating special occasions such as anniversaries and birthdays. Our server was excellent he keep our drinks full and the food flowing. My daughter liked parading around with the cast playing the washboard at the end. Hopefully, we can make it back soon.

Yelp
Possibly the easiest 5 star review I have ever given on Yelp. Came here for an 8:30 show with my kids (5 and 2 year old). We were keeping them on West coast time, so it was easy to go to the late show. Be sure to prepare enough time to get there, as it is a bit of a trek to park and then take a bus (or boat from the Magic Kingdom) to get there. The food was actually pretty good. I really liked the fried chicken and the strawberry shortcake for dessert was pretty delicious. Service was the Disney Magic that we have all come to expect. Drinks were good, fast, and included, which is always a win. They pretty much bring you more food and drink than you can consume, but it was excellent. The show is also very interactive, without being too invasive. My 5 year old even got called to go on the stage, which was pretty awesome. Both kids were fully entertained during the meal, and this was the best meal that I had while at WDW. Looking forward to returning!!

Yelp
I purchased tickets to the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue for my boyfriend and my parents while we were staying at Fort Wilderness. My mom had gone many years ago and remembered it being an animatronic show with the Brer Bear character. The Hoop Dee Doo show of today is a silly and zany musical revue show starring real live humans. We were seated up in the balcony which gave us a great vantage point (and kept us out of the reach for any "audience participation", ha!). The meal is a family style all-you-can-eat affair, but I found the food to be a bit mediocre. The fried chicken was juicy and seasoned well, but didn't have the crispy skin I like on fried chicken. The ribs were a little tough but had good flavor. The corn was tough and overcooked but the mashed potatoes were good. The cornbread was moist and sweet. The meal also includes all you can drink beer, wine, and sangria! Our server seemed to want to get us drunk as she kept bringing out more and more drinks- I was thinking it was so we might enjoy the show more, but it wasn't needed. The show is super corny, full of "dad" jokes and slapstick humor, but I loved it. It was so silly and over the top, with some little jokes for the adults thrown in here and there. The performers were so fun to watch and quite talented. I had a blast at the show but it's definitely a little pricey at about $60 per person (price includes alcoholic beverages and gratuity). I don't think I would go again but I am glad we got to check it out!

Yelp
This is an old-fashioned, corny, over-the-top "musical" show at Fort Wilderness Campground in WDW. This was my hubby's choice for his birthday dinner while we were visiting the area. Food is served family style, which means they come and slam down some pewter plates and buckets of food. Starters include a salad and cornbread. Beer and wine are included as well as soft drinks. Next you're served up fried chicken, ribs, beans, corn, and mashed potatoes. Save room for dessert as it is strawberry shortcake with plenty of whipped cream. It is yummy! Price is high, and varies depending on where you want to sit. Show is interactive, so be prepared to whoop and holler and carry on during the show. Is the food 5 star - probably not, but it is good and all you care to eat. Servers are friendly and always ready with drinks and food. If you're not into loud and interactive shows, probably not for you, but if you like audience participation and a good time, this is a fun place to have dinner and be entertained.

Yelp
What a cute show! The atmosphere is lively and fun. The cast is very talented and friendly as well. The food overall was pretty good. I wasn't a huge fan of the baked beans or the mashed potatoes. However I did like the chicken and corn bread alright. This show seemed great for all ages and our waiter was super friendly. I would suggest leaving 30 minutes to get from the entrance to the actual bus stop where the show is located. It was a much longer trip than I expected with all the random stops along the way. Overall positive experience.

Yelp
The food is amazing. The drinks are great. The entertainment is wonderful. The servers are always awesome too.

Yelp
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review is something everyone should experience at least once. Enjoy a boat ride from the Magic Kingdom to Fort Wilderness, and get ready to laugh. I would describe the humor as Western meets Jungle Cruise. All the actors seemed to be having a great time. Their energy was contagious. Audience participation throughout kept everyone on their toes. Everyone in our party enjoyed the show. I was afraid my oldest might be too old, but he enjoyed it as well. Our server was Rob or Bor. He continued the humor found on stage at our table. It was clear he liked working there. The food was okay. They were very accommodating about food allergies. The show was really the star.

Yelp
What an wonderful experience the Hoop-dee-do is for the whole family! I have experienced this Old West themed dinner show at least 6 times in the last 10 years, and it never gets old. This dinner show is part musical review, party comedy routine, and part full service family dining. First off, the entertainment is a western themed comedy troupe that that will have you busting a gut for most of a ttwo hour experience. They recognize bdays and other special events, so be ready for a spot light if you are celebrating. The service is excellent. The servers can be as animated as the actors and are very attentive. We asked for Mac and cheese, which is on the kid menU, even though we were a group of 4 adults. We received a huge serving bowl and all the refills we could want. And that brings me to the food. Fried chIcken, ribs, baked beans, corn, and mashed potatoes ! All family style, and everything all you can eat. For the adults, unlimited beer, sangria, or wine! There are a few specialty drinks for an additional charge. The food is excellent and plentiful! I highly recommend this experience for couples, families, and groups. The cost is roughly 70$ per per adult, or two table service dining credits. It seems like a lot, but compared to most signature dining experiences this is worth it.

Yelp
What a fantastic evening! Wasn't really sure what to expect but had heard a lot of great things about this dinner show throughout the years. Getting to the location was a breeze for us since we were staying at the resort for the week. We had to take the disney bus transportation down to the restaurant.....driving isn't an option whether your staying at Fort Wilderness or not. We paid extra for better seats in the front section and I think it was well worth the upgrade. We were right in front of the stage and musicians. All you can drink and eat dinner didn't disappoint! Not my typical fare but I did enjoy it. Just not a big southern eater due to the health aspects of it. Doesn't mean it wasn't awesome though. Had a bite of my boyfriends fried chicken and I devoured the fall off the bones ribs. We were told at check to ask for the Mac and Cheese but passed upon seeing the other massive sides we were given. Mashed potatoes, corn, salad corn bread a plenty. Strawberry shortcake for dessert paired with a song and dance from the show and wait staff. Was actually some of the best shortcake I've had. The show has a little something for all ages and keeps you entertained. Lots of witty puns and much laughter filled the room. Service was superb and our server kept our drinks filled. I would love to come back and share this experience with some of our other family and friends.

Yelp
I've said it before and I'll say it again - Hoop-Dee-Doo is a Disney World MUST. You don't need children to enjoy it; we most recently went with a group of five adults and had an absolute blast. The show is hysterical and had us in stitches from start to finish. The food is very decent - salad, cornbread, fried chicken, ribs, baked beans, mashed potatoes & green beans - served all you can enjoy. We had two vegetarians in our party who also enjoyed their veggie plate & vegetable pasta dish. They could also enjoy all of the sides with the exception of the baked beans, which have ham in them. Beer/wine/sangria are also unlimited and they have a very generous pour, my sangria was constantly being refilled without even asking for it. Strawberry shortcake for dessert was tasty as well. You don't need to eat or drink a lot to get your money's worth here though, because the show itself is the real star and worth every penny of the cost!

Yelp
This was such a great dinner show and the kids absolutely loved it. The food was yummy and the atmosphere was wonderful. The kids wanted to go back the next night because they had such a good time. The show is interactive and the kids get to cheer and yell. Can't wait to go back!!

Yelp
The Hoop-Dee-Doo revue is expensive - it's one of the costliest dining options at Disney. It's hard to get a ticket - shows often sell out months in advance. It's hard to get to - you'll need to drive (or take a bus or two) to the Fort Wilderness main lot, and then take a 15 minute bus ride inside the campground to the show (you can also take a ferry boat from the Magic Kingdom). It's hopelessly dated - the show hasn't changed much in 40 years and features standards like the Hokey Pokey and Oh My Darling, Clementine. And they like to make fun of their guests (yes, that's me in a pink tutu in the photo). Yet, even with all this, it's still a unique Disney experience that everyone should see at least once: 90 minutes of pure, old-school Disney Magic. It's been performed over 30,000 times and seen by millions over the last 40+ years. It's a family tradition for many Disney guests who come back year after year - and it may be the most fun you'll have on your Disney vacation. It's a great place to celebrate a special event - birthdays and anniversary are recognized early in the show. The show takes place in Pioneer Hall on the northern end of the Fort Wilderness campground and resort site. Pioneer Hall was built just a few years after the Magic Kingdom opened and was painstakingly constructed from over 1000 hand fitted pine logs brought in all the way from Montana. Originally conceived as a place to gather, eat, and possibly show nature films the management at Disney decided to make some money off of it by hosting a dinner show aimed at those who couldn't get into the Polynesian Luau show. The budget was so tight back then that the original cast consisted of interns. The show - a mix of vaudeville, audience participation, old time Americana, and classic Disney - is a pure blast. A cast of six is accompanied by a talented duo of musicians on piano and banjo. The cast is amazing and can sing, dance, improv, and even do pratfalls. Although the cast rotates (perhaps even from show to show) they are always some of Disney's best and they clearly enjoy the work. The meal is a big part of the show. Corn bread and salad are waiting on the table when you arrive. A selection of drinks is included with the ticket price; there's even beer, wine, and Sangria for the adults at no extra cost. Neither the food nor service approaches gourmet fine dining - but everything is tasty and hearty. Fried chicken and ribs are served for the main course and both are excellent. There's a good selection of sides as well: corn, baked beans, and mashed potatoes. Dessert is one of the few changes that's been made to show - it's now Strawberry Shortcake, and the wait staff joins the show for its presentation. Tickets are expensive enough that it's hard to call it a bargain, but if you come hungry, have a drink or two, and consider the value of the entertainment then you'll certainly get your money's worth. The end of the show was a special highlight. It's the story of Davy Crockett, filled with plenty of un-BEAR-able puns. I was selected to be Davy Crockett's angel, the "star" of the show. I was taken backstage (by the cast, who were really friendly), dressed up, and given my instructions. My big moment on stage was a lot of fun and something my family will never forget. (The cast will interact with much of the audience, even those on the balcony, but to have the best chance of being on the few invited on stage you'll probably need to be sitting in the good seats up front).

Yelp
EXCELLENT show. We booked this show immediately at the 180 day mark for the last day of our trip and were thrilled to have been seated front and center for the show. Apparently, according to what i've read, the seating is based on when reservations were made so we got very lucky! We picked up our tickets about an hour before the show but were disappointed that they then made us sign in AGAIN for the show on a long line...seems like an outdated process to me. The woman told me we were table 12, which is apparently the best one. Upon being shown to our table we feasted on corn bread and butter, my god so good. We even got extra. I also ordered the red sangria which was bottomless- as long as the waitress had time to bring it since she was so busy. I wound up having two which was more than enough for me. The beers they had were also the same way. Over the course of the show she brought out fried chicken, ribs, mashed potatoes, green beans, bbq beans, and mac and cheese.... there was SO much food. Lastly they gave us two strawberry shortcakes for the 5 of us, which was more than enough. It was good, but I wasn't a fan of the strawberry puree they use with it. They gave breaks in between the performers performing so that we could eat and enjoy the show. It was super interactive and fun! I would absolutely suggest this for the entire family. I know it is pricey- but keep in mind that you are essentially getting all you can eat because they will bring you as much as you want to eat and drink as well as a live show at the same time. It was a $5 price difference from section 1 to section 2 and section 2 to section 3. So we chose section 1. Additionally, please note you must pay upfront for the tickets to this show.
