EDIT:
I went by the next morning to let management know what happened rather than sandbag them with this review. The morning manager was very nice and listened carefully. She tried to make it right. For this I have changed from 1 star to 3 stars.
------------------------------------------
Stopped in here because we were in the casino gambling on the $10 tables with my college kids. I probably should have known better than to ever step foot in a hooters. I went in there because I had $15 of comps for my food from spending so much money in the casino. We showed the comp card to the waitress when we entered.
Four of us came in in the vicinity of midnight. I know, right, I shouldn't expect much at midnight. Well, there were three or four girls with very scanty outfits on which I guess is what is expected at hooters. They definitely didn't hire them for intellect. Sorry to say that. Not trying to be mean but the server was so vacant it was like talking to a Barbie doll.
They don't have the regular menu at night it seems, so they handed us a sheet of paper and the choices were a salad or wings or regular wings or curly fries. That's it. So we ordered 10 wings for $17 (!!!!) for each of us. That by itself is crazy. several orders of curly fries which she only brought out one and had to go back and locate the rest. The wings were obviously pre-cooked. Probably several days ago. And I tell you they were chicken jerky, they were as hard as the table. The cook obviously didn't feel like working so he took those pre-cooked wings, dropped them in the fryer for 30 seconds and poured on a mountain of sauce and then called it a day. (Hello food costs...) They were cold on the inside and room temperature on the outside. Fries tepid.
The wings were the smallest wing I've ever seen. I can't imagine this came from an actual chicken. If you look at my picture, you can see that the nickel that was in my pocket was larger than the drumstick part of the wing. I would be ashamed to send that food out. But send it out they did.
Nobody finished their food, you simply could not chew it, but we did put it in the box so in case I get sick tomorrow I'll have the evidence for the health department.
The server did come and take our order, dropped off waters because we came in with full drinks from the bar, dropped off our food and she did swing by one time to ask if everything was OK, which we did not send the food back because everybody knows what happens if you send food back in the late night food place. No evidence of a manager anywhere. It was obvious that the food was terrible and nobody ate it. She then dropped off the bill and didn't take off the comp. When I asked her about it, she shrugged and said she forgot, and it was too late. Sheesh. That's the whole reason I went in that place. All in all, I am supremely disgusted by my visit, and my expectations were very low, considering it was a hooters. I'll not be back and you should eat there at your own risk.
