The London Alcohol Delivery Guide

"Hop Burns And Black not only sounds like the jazz trio we all need right now, it’s also a mini chain of south London craft beer stores. They have two shops, one in Peckham and another in Deptford - both of which are currently closed but you can get same-day delivery on all of their beers if you live south of the river." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing

Beyond Brewdog: The Best Craft Beer in London at Pubs and Taprooms | Eater London

"Granted, there are pubs with more room to manoeuvre than beer shop and “tasting room” HB&B. But then, not many pubs offer the kinds of nectar every beer hound wants to get her sticky paws on. Beers such as Cloudwater’s DIPL, Gypsy Hill and DEYA’s Ramblers, and the very small batch Mill’s Brewing & Oliver’s Cider Foxbic." - Hugh Thomas

The staff at Hop Burns & Black are SO friendly, helpful and kind. Absolutely brilliant. Great selection of craft beer, natural wines and they serve coffees and pastries too. You can order Yard Sale Pizzas to your table, they have nice indoor and outdoor seating. Excellent selection of hot sauces - a great spot - well worth the visit!

Google
The best beer shop in London. Incredible knowledge and service plus their entire team are super lovely and friendly. Plus they sell hot sauces and a very decent wine selection. Oh and great coffee too!

Google
Really nice beer shop. The range of craft beer is excellent and almost all chilled, plus a few draft beers. Lots of wine choice too and an unbeatable selection of hot sauces. A few seats inside and a few benches outside. The barman was extremely helpful in advising me what sort of hot sauces are best!

Ordered some DIPAs, orange wine and crisps from Hop Burns & Black (East Dulwich). I'd never been before but when I went to collect my order, I really liked the vibe (inside and out) so stayed for a pint. Was surprised with the range of hot sauces. Danny was really helpful chatting through other craft beers they had in stock, so left with a few more cans (and some hot sauce). Will definitely be going back and would recommend!

Google
A hidden gem of the area. Knowledgeable & helpful staff, cool atmosphere. They r offering drinks at reasonable prices than other places of London. Love outdoor seating. Wide range of craft cans, bottles, wines and special hot sauces from all over London city. Had some quality time with quality drinks. Hope visit again soon.

The best beer selection in the area. The coffee in the mornings is also worth the visit, especially getting a pastry from St John. If it’s your thing, you can choose from lots of hot sauces and natural wines.

Yelp
Hop Burns and Black is a place I've been wanting to check out for some time now. The issue is that we don't get to Peckham very often at all. When we decided to meet some friends for a little pub crawl near the Peckham Rye station, Chris and me walked over to check out this little gem. The selection is fantastic, and as we were looking for some Imperial Stouts to bring back to a friend in the US, but don't typically drink that style, we sought out some advise. I believe we were speaking to one of the owners, and he was just lovely. He gave us some recommendations, including a very rare Peanut Butter and Biscuit Imperial Stout that he swore would be a winner. Because the owners are from New Zealand, there is a nice selection from there, and also a great selection from the US and here. They do also have a pretty vast selection of hot sauces from around the globe-- hence the "burns" part of their name. I do wish it was closer to us, but we'll definitely be back.
