I've been here twice so I'm just giving you an average I ordered the falafel bowl it was really good I ordered it to go and is very different everything was made fresh I did not sit in and eat so I cannot speak on the service. The person that did take my order was very courteous and professional the place seems so busy so I'm pretty sure they do well when it comes to certain service and whatnot and they are very well staffed from what I seen. Of course that is very important these days. So I can only speak on the food which was very fresh the second time I went I ordered me the halibut or fish sandwich I asked for no slaw because I do not eat any type of dairy and they took off everything when it actually came with an avocado spread which they did not put on the sandwich so it was just a bear fish sandwich yet I paid for the whole sandwich which I didn't like because I was not able to substitute it for anything else. I have so far been only to this establishment within Trilith. Since they don't have much of what I could eat I may not go back only just for the falafel bowl which was pretty good.

Just visited Sunday...I really wanted to enjoy my visit...I sat outside hoping to enjoy the weather and Trilith vibe as I am assessing the neighborhood. I was the only person seated outside and waited very long time to be acknowledged....only after several tables have been seated and served was I acknowledged with a Thumbs Up!!! Really??? The young guy had just had a whole pleasant conversation with the next table that had just been seated!!! I contained my anger and ordered... The drink arrived about 10 minutes later and not long after, the food was dropped off at the table...no silverware in sight... After a few minutes of waiting,I had to go inside to request silverware! The food was good...my first time eating brussel sprouts and I enjoyed them with the steak sandwich. Service got a zero but I still tipped....far below my average 30-50%

Google
I used to visit the location in Krog Market and was excited to see this come to Fayetteville. It’s so nice to be able to purchase nice selections of wines and beers here at the Trilith location.

Google
Went there for dinner sat down with drink menu's and waited almost 15min for someone to acknowledge us at the table. We were able to order my daughter a lemonade, before the server promptly left without taking anyone else's drink order. We observed the same server visiting tables in front of and behind us multiple times never coming back to take our order or check on us. After 10 more minutes of being ignored we got up tried to pay for daughter's lemonade and left..... if they are slightly busy but not full (still open tables) be aware service may be extremely slow and make sure if you want to sit outside make a reservation ahead of time.

Google
Hop City's outpost in the Town at Trilith development is a little out of the way, but definitely a hidden gem. Located inside Barleygarden, there are hundreds of great wine and beer options. Plus, you've got access to Barleygarden's dozens of draft beers, which is a plus.

Google
Not a bad selection on beer. I'm a little spoiled living in up state NY for 8 years,. You could throw a rock and hit at least 3 micro breweries. I'm just glad I found a place to get craft beer. It's worth the drive from Mcdonough.

Adil Bennani-Karim

Google
Not a place to dine. Burgers and steaks well overcooked until dry. Wings are ok, but who waters down the sauces and then charges for them?

Fred Francis

Google
Good service, decent beer selection. Food was meh. Willing to go again but will try other items on the menu.

Yelp
I love everything about this restaurant; from the outdoor streetside seating to the second floor open-air balcony, to the dozens upon dozens of craft beers. Let's not forget about their spectacular collection of wines from around the world. I haven't forgotten how friendly the wait staff are. We had our anniversary party on the second floor balcony. The guests loved the food, the staff, and the service. Our waitress Sammie made the event appear effortless. If you go to the Barleygarden, make sure to order the Brussel Sprouts; they are the best we've ever had.

Yelp
This is my second time stoping in while visiting my meat eating family. They have clearly marked vegan options. Last time I got a bowl with grains and veggies with a vinaigrette that is still in the menu. It was fine but not worth buying again. This time I tried the meatloaf sandwich. It was delicious with a well paired sauce. The menu doesn't say, but I would guess it's made with Impossible grounds as a way to be able to charge more than a basic Impossible burger. Our server was welcoming, warm and very helpful. We sat inside this time and the booths were a perfect right angle making everyone in the party uncomfortable. We preferred the patio where we sat last time. Visiting early on a Thursday evening it was quiet, but workings and later it can get noisy.

Chris L.

Yelp
I had been when they first opened and I loved it even more this time around. We sat upstairs on the rooftop which had a great view. There is an entire bar up there as well and what seems like a private event space you could use. The Brussel sprouts were among the best I have had. There was so much you will definitely have enough to take home if there are only 2 or 3 of you. Staff was nice as well. Also went downstairs after to their wine and beer shop and was able to find a non alcoholic wine.

Yelp
Omg stumbled on this place. I'm sorry I couldn't take any pictures was too busy enjoying the scenery, food, drinks, etc. This place is a must see: lights, camera, action. Get to it. The Peach Margarita and Lamb Burger is what you need in your life. I will be going again. Thanks NS for taking your friend to a nice establishment. Such a Gem.

Tish G.

Yelp
I've been here a few times, and the experience has been different each time. The drinks aren't the best on any type of consistent basis, but there are plenty of beer options available. Today, I got the vegan meatloaf. It was pretty good. The drinks were so-so. We have a child with us. The kid's meal was brought out until we were almost done eating and asked several people about it.

Eric L.

Yelp
We ordered a fish and chips to go with a small salad. It was $21. It was one piece of fish in the days of old like a few months ago, he used to get three pieces of fish not one I find it to be really cheap to do that on takeout food. My wife even talked to a manager and they said well it's the same size as the old ones. It's just a bigger piece of fish and that's just not true. I'm including a picture of what a $21 plate of fish looks like!!!

Tammy V.

Yelp
Every time I visit Georgia I end up at this place. And each visit to Barleygarden has been different. This visit we were greeted and seated. We had a lovely table on the upper deck overlooking Trilith. The food was awful. Poorly prepared and a major disappointment to see such a negative decline from my last visit. This place has so much potential. It's in a great location. It's really a shame to see it missing the mark.

Sydney C.

Yelp
I love their little chicken sandwiches. They also have wide variety of wines they sell. The customer service sometimes can vary but over all I'll come back. The ambiance is friendly.

Seth D.

Yelp
The food tasted great, and the staff were very polite and helpful. The location is an up and coming, beautiful walkable town center, Trilith. Food for price, nowadays, was good, and all around great restaurant. Just add an option for carnivores like me to add an extra beef patty;) Great experience Now I just need to move to the town center;)

Kyla B.

Yelp
Barleygarden is located in a hidden gem area of Fayetteville. With indoor/outdoor/rooftop seating options, you're sure to find the perfect setting to enjoy the laid back eclectic ambiance. The food is typical american bar food with some unique toppings/sauces that didn't disappoint. The service was also fast and friendly leaving this a great place off the beaten path to grab lunch and a cute cocktail. #Recommend

Nicole J.

Yelp
I stopped here with a friend for a drink after lunch. We sat at the bar and were greeted immediately. My friend ordered a beer and I got a cocktail called It's Peaches, Beaches. My drink was really good and refreshing. We also ordered a soft pretzel to snack on. The pretzel was beyond good and tasted freshly made. The mustard sauce complimented the pretzel. However, I was not a fan of the cheese sauce. Overall, I'd definitely be bad again to try more items.

Vera W.

Yelp
Great spot!! Second time and both time service and food great!!! This has become one of me and my sons favorite spots to eat. You have to sit upstairs at least once. Such a lovely outside space. Must go!!

Renée L.

Yelp
Service was great. The hostess and the waitress were both really nice. The food was just ok. I had the short rib which was on the dry side. My son had the chicken tenders which were also a little dry and over cooked. My husband however really enjoyed his lemon pepper wings. Looking forward to going back just to enjoy cocktails and wine.

Yelp
Got the Chef Kendrick Grouper Special! Came into Barley Garden on a Wednesday afternoon, the atmosphere of Trilith was buzzing and Barley had a few patrons. The first thing I noticed was the cleanliness of the building and the use of natural lighting throughout. There were openings so we were sat very quickly. Mason took our order and the chef came to the table to present our meal. Got the Brussel sprouts for an appetizer and the Chef Special for my main course. The Brussels were cooked nicely, crunchy and juicy, and a nice mix of sweet and tangy flavors bursting within. Great portions for pricing, thoroughly enjoyed the presentation, piled high and evenly sauced. The Grouper was very tender, with a nice texture and vibrant taste, cooked well and presented without that "fishy salty taste". The carrots were sweet and they complimented the grouper perfectly, really pulling out the taste of the orange zest of the drizzle that they used for the meal. The fingerling potatoes were a great foundation for the plate as well, adding some weight to the meal and also depth to the plate presentation. The roasted onions on top pull the dish together nicely, 10/10 would recommend for any of those seafood lovers that grew up near the water! Ask for Chef Kendrick or Chef Sam!

Yelp
New area that is being developed and we can't for the final product. After walking around checking out the shoppes, we landed here at the bar. The bartender was super cool and knowledgeable. We had two great stouts and many blueberry lemon drops. Fish and chips, fried green tomatoes, chili fries were delish. We will definitely be back..

Yelp
5/14/2023 FIRST VISIT. Mother's Day. Short wait and helpful, friendly staff. Nice open, outdoorsy feel. Could have been a little cleaner, but was busy holiday. Appreciated the tall, icy waters brought to us promptly, it was a bit warm outside. We first ordered the Snack City appetizer and had fun finding the right pairings. I loved the chips and pimento cheese. My Butchers Bun was very tasty, enjoyed the peppery arugula with Gruyère. Hubby is always looking for "the best burger", his Smash Hit was good, but not great. The caramelized shallot jam became over powering after 4-5 bites. The Mother's Day Cheesecake was good but not great, very large serving tho, so share or save room if ordering. The best thing we tried was the Lemon Lust Bar, it had just the right amount of tart and sweet.

Jason C.

Yelp
Didn't live up to the hype. Pretzel minis were fine but cheese sauce tasted like it had curdled and the dipping dijon mustard had a bitter after taste that was stronger and unpleasant. Next was the Butcher Burger, which had shaved ribeye topped with onion straws. The meat was bland, and the straws were stale and also tasteless. However, the sweet potato fries were tasty. Overall, a below mid experience. Would not recommend. ‍

Yelp
The patio is inexplicably swarming with flies (downstairs) and puppies aren't allowed upstairs. I wouldn't consider this a wine bar at all... there are 4 reds, 2 cava, one Prosecco (oddly only offered on the upstairs level!) - and a few reds. Rather than asking if we wanted flat or sparkling rose when we ordered it and he returned the server asked if we wanted "strawberry or raspberry " - as if those are typical wine questions... weirdddd flex. We quickly answered neither until figuring out what he possibly meant by looking at the menu, and then they were out of the still rosé anyway lol... settled on a Pinot gris, which was fine but def not any award winners here at all. We didn't eat, but did order some chips, expecting the familiar, if not dated conceptually, fresh cut hot just fried chips... and a tray of cold, barbecue seasoned chips arrived. The server explained they are made every morning. they didn't mention they were a sweet barbecue flavor anywhere.... they're dusted in sugar and seasoning, not to order, when we asked. Wouldn't order again. Ultimately we were in Fayetteville for a random appointment and were pretty unimpressed overall (the pizza place down the street is equally lackluster!)

Yelp
Every time, I've gone here something is always messed up or they forget something in our order. This time I ordered online. Pretty straight forward, three burgers, and all I got was a bunch of bread, meat and fries. I could've gone to the store for the amount I got, literally just got the buns and beef patty and fries. Definitely never going back here. Might as well go to five guys or to Houston's. Who the hell orders $60 worth of food for just 3 buns and 3 beef patty's. Only a dumbass. Time before that they forgot our fries to the fish and chips. The time before that they brought us the wrong order when we ordered the wings they brought us chicken tenders and two wrong drinks. I'm good. The people there are cool but damn. This place needs attentiveness and attention to detail. This is literally a cafeteria burger. They should call this place the garbage burger so people's expectations are actually met.

Lauren S.

Yelp
I was craving a creamy pasta and ended up trying the vegan cacio de pepe pasta. It was so divine. I am not vegan or even vegetarian and it was SO DELICIOUS!!!! Highly recommend if you are wanting a satisfying creamy pasta dish.

Katie E.

Yelp
I've been here a few times now and I've ordered the exact same thing every time (If Looks Could Kale burger). It's so good I can't even part ways to try something else. They staff is very friends, plenty of seating inside and out, and a very cozy vibe. Highly recommend eating at Barleygarden... nothing but wonderful things to say about it.

Sarah D.

Yelp
I went for lunch when they opened at 11:00am. The staff were all friendly. The food we ate was delicious! For an appetizer we had the Korean Fire wings had a savory flavor and can be eaten without ranch or blue cheese and I'm a sauce person, they came with celery and carrots, very good. I ordered the turkey chili and the GOAT also, very good. My sister had the shrimp Caio e Pepe I think it's called she enjoyed that tremendously! I was so full and it was great good and service. I will definitely be returning.

Paulaaa B.

Yelp
I ate here and I wouldn't prob go back. Maybe because the strike is going on. But the food was subpar to me. My burger was no better than a Wendy's burger. And the fries and sides are al a carte. My fellow table mates got the hummus app and also got some wings and honestly I can't remember what else because it just wasn't worthy of mentioning. Our server was okay. I needed ketchup but she took so long that I saw some other workers cleaning a table with ketchup that I went over and asked for theirs. I also wanted a glass of ice and it never came so I had to go to the bar and get my own glass of ice. I prob won't be back here. It was pricey and food was average at best and service too. The strike is going on and it's pretty low key now so I can't imagine how service would be during a busy time.

Ashley C.

Yelp
I love the location and the selection of beer. The food was pretty good as well but nothing really to remember or rave about. Typical brewery food, which isn't a bad thing. The wait staff was very attentive and accommodating. My favorite part of the experience was going shopping for craft beers after dinner. If you are somewhat of a craft beer snob, you will most definitely enjoy.

Keith S.

Yelp
Really good, also had the mimosa flight and a burger. Came here to watch the NBA Draft and it was nice, food came out very quick and the tab was light for everything I got. Forgot my server's name but her and her trainee did a great job.

Foreveryoex

Yelp
I went here for my birthday . They let us light the cake. The food was good. Service was A teir. The ambiance was amazing . I took pictures after.

Lillian F.

Yelp
Attentive staff good eats Clean great location Will be returning Ordered Double Smash Burger

Lee C.

Yelp
Average eatery if that... I would put Burger King & Wendy's hamburgers up against their $16 À la cart hamburgers any day... Staff is obviously Stick with the great beer selection.

Sybil B.

Yelp
We had dinner here after a soccer game with our team and parents. We started with 10 bbq wings, which were quickly delivered. I liked the wings,my husband thought the drive had too much garlic. The cobb salad was so filling and flavorful. My husband had the fish and chips, which filled him up to not want dessert. My son had the steak burger with fries that he enjoyed. Our team appreciated our large group being served by Lysander.

A B.

Yelp
Delicious burgers and fries. The Mojito was watered down and not mixed correctly, so I wouldn't go there if I'm looking for a place with great drinks

Danny B.

Yelp
This place has so many beers on tap and the food is pretty good too! There is one in Fayetteville that is really awesome with a really nice size bar. Every waitress I've had was super friendly! I have stopped here a few times to rest on my way to a lesson or something and have not been disappointed. They even have car charging stations if you need to juice up on your way to somewhere! I highly recommend giving this spot a try! If you like beer and bar food Barley Gardens is the jam. If you live on the south side of town you can pop in and it's never too crazy busy to the point where they can't serve you. There are other locations and those tend to be more busy. But you really can't go wrong when there is a whole wall of beer available! Stop in and give it a try! You won't regret it!

Janice A.

Yelp
I enjoy this open-air eatery. I always have a good time and good food here. I once spotted Ye and his entourage. They whisked him into a VIP area and then whisked him out a back way. I usually go here with a group and we like sitting up top in the open area. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the different offerings. Nice place to hang out or grab dinner or just grab a drink and relax.

Marshall G.

Yelp
I grew up in Fayetteville many years ago and was told about this little growing town nearby. Saw this place as I taking a scenic drive and decided to go for it. The waitress was very kind and attentive and the local beer selection was quite nice. I ordered a smash burger and, to be honest, it didn't seem like it was much of a smash burger but it was still pretty good. The flavor could've been a little better and definitely much more smashed to give the burger edges that crispy caramelized texture we all love I'm that style. The fries I ordered with it were very good. I definitely want to try again and see what else they have to offer. This area has grown up so much over the last couple decades and love seeing that we have some of these options now.

Rhonda M.

Yelp
It was overall pretty good. Our server Michael was very nice, polite and knowledgeable about the menu. He suggested different options and made sure everything was satisfactory. My burger was OK, the fries were good and my drink was delicious! I would try this spot again but I would order something else (the menu isn't that exciting tbh) and I would sit inside because the flies were a pain . Overall, I would return solely because of the customer service. Great job Michael and greeter!

Tahnita C.

Yelp
I love this place! Since I've found it...I've been every week for the last 4weeks. Atmosphere is fabulous; service is awesome; drinks are good & food is yummy!!! Please check it out as you sill not be disappointed they have a good thing going here! If it was closer to my home, I would patron more than once a week! Love the area & I strongly desire to live in the new mixed development that's being built! Fingers crossed I'll be a neighbor soon! Fingers crossed!!!! XoXo

Kierra R.

Yelp
I am on the fence with this review. Food I give it 5 stars Scenery I love the balcony view. It is very relaxing Service Horrible!!!! I was waiting to be seated for a awhile until other customers started pointing to the hostess who was sitting at the bar. I asked can I be seated and she was very unfriendly. My waiter was also unfriendly. I am unsure if both girls had conflict with each other. I witness one of the girls doing unkind gesture to the other. Over all I can tell that they're young. Another thing I didn't like is my drink came out with my food. Also my drink was very nasty.

Carlos D.

Yelp
The spot is in the Trilith Community. It's a great place to chill and grab a cold beer and great food. Generally it's very busy and the wait time for a table ranges from 15 minutes to an hour., but there is plenty of bar seats at one of two large bars, one upstairs with an open terrace and one downstairs. As usual, I'm a big service guy..the service was good. The bar tenders were attentive and made good drinks. The prices are reasonable.

Dan W.

Yelp
I just had a wait time of 30 minutes for an order of 10 wings. My receipt showed a time of 1:44 and got my food at 2:15. I noted the time to clarify that this was not during the "lunch rush". I sat at the bar after ordering at the hostess station. The bartender asked if she could check on my food due to the long wait time. This order was to go. 10 wings and a cup of soup should not have a 30 ticket time. No words; just a thanks for your patience. To boot the lemon pepper wings did not taste good nor did the Korean. So crap food and a 30 wait time for it. This makes my choice of dining easy going forward, it will not be here. The town of Trilith has some other options, i'll try those.

GiGi D.

Yelp
Meh. Not super impressed by this spot. It was just mediocre food that didn't blow me away... And honestly, my Cobb salad I ordered was insanely underwhelming. I got the Brussels sprouts (naked) and the chicken wings (naked) and both were just fine... The Brussels sprouts actually being PERFECTLY crisp (just not salty enough but that was easily remedied)... and the chicken wings also had a great crunch too... But meh, I dunno, This is just one of those restaurants that I feel like I'll forget about tomorrow. My Cobb Salad honestly SUCKED -- and I think it's because kale and arugula were used as the greens and I HATE both of them. HATE THEM. Ha! Also, they rob you blind when you add chicken to your salad... Cause for an extra $6 you get about an ounce. My husband got a burger and didn't even finish it... So that's saying something there too. If we lived in Fayetteville, we would absolutely not come back here... But that's for the perfect Brussels sprouts!

Lisa T.

Yelp
GREAT BEER, TERRIBLE FOOD! Love this place for a BAR and their BEER SELECTION. I've tried their food here and both times I thought they were below average. Would rate this place a 5 star for beers and a 2 star for food. Hence the 3 star rating. I'll revise if I try a food dish that's actually good.

Shanika G T.

Yelp
This establishment is Everything!!! The vibe is right and the service was exceptional! I ventured here for my birthday and sat on the patio. We were instantly greeted and seated. The patio faces the common area called the triloth. The menus are QR coded which is great during covid so you dont have to touch menus. Our server Michael(im hoping this is correct) was excellent. He answered all of our questions and was warm and polite. We ordered the chicken sliders as an appetizer. They were amazing, I did not want to share. I almost smacked my husbands hand when he reached for the last one. We also ordered drinks. I ordered the tiki wakanda, and let me tell you, I had a dream about that drink, it was that amazing. The main course was a po boy for hubby and a buthers bun which was ribeye on a sesame bun. Both great meals. I enjoyed every bite. Since it was my birthday I received a lemon bar for dessert. I did not share, and i didn't feel gulity about it either. We toured the upstairs after it opened at 4pm. I can see myself a regular here and having events here as well. My group all said they can't wait to return. I hope they don't get tired of seeing us. Don't visit this restaurant (I'm only saying this because I want it all to myself!!) See you soon Barley Garden Kitchen. Keep my seat warm!

Nicole D.

Yelp
This place is tucked away to an up and coming work-play-eat area. The are is still being developed and there is plenty of parking so far. The restuarant is very nice, clean and trendy. All of the staff were very accommodating and nice. We were greeted several times walking through to our table. Due to COVID-19, they are spacing people out as much as possible and I recommend making a reservation. The bar area seating was all occupied but I was sitting on the other side. They do ja e a rooftop area that wasn't open but I can see how that will be an attraction when it is warmer. Now to the good stuff, they have a nice selection of wine in their store that you can buy. I plan to go back to purchase and eat. Their cocktails are ok and have a Marvel theme to their names. I had the arugula and spinach salad and the Gimme the Beet melt which was amazing!!! They give a ton of fries that I couldn't finish. The menu is moderately priced. I will be back for sure. There is so much to try!

Alicia L.

Yelp
Thank you Fayetteville for good eats & great drinks close to home!!! I would expect to find a trendy place like this in-town. Ambience is light, airy & trendy. Perfect 4 date nite or hangin with the homies 4 food and/or drinks. I can't remember my bar tender's name but it started w/an L. She was nice, professional & knows how to make a mean drink!! I only had 2 drinks & was drunk af!!! Speaking of drinks, they have several specialty drinks that are sure 2 satisfy just about any taste buds. EVERYTHING I had was simply delicious. Hats off 2 the chef!! I need to know what kind d of MEATLESS meatballs they use b/c I could have sworn I was eating real meat. Omg!!!! My ribeye was cooked to perfection & so was the broccoli!!! I will definitely be back & soon since you are so close to home!!

Courtney M.

Yelp
This was our first time visiting this location and we will definitely be back! The burgers and beer were delicious! Our server, Jas, was also amazing ! We tasted 3 beers and ended up with our favorite pints and some to die for burgers ! Sweet potatoes are a must! Jas went on to tell us about other area businesses so we also checked out Woodstone Bakery before heading home ! So happy we stumbled upon this location today !

Tracy H.

Yelp
FYI-kitchen closed from 2:45-4pm to transition to dinner menu... ugh The bar is still open for drinks.

Constance J.

Yelp
The fish and chips were really good. Our server Samantha N., was horrible. It is best to stay home and keep your money. The service was extremely poor. They let the staff wear whatever and look like whatever. People do not take the time to look presentable and provide amazing service anymore. I DO NOT ever leave a tip when servers do not care what they look like, when they do not engage with the guest, when they forget to check up on their guest, when they forgot to make sure our drinks are refilled, when they forget to bring napkins and straws, etc. That's just to name a few. Samantha N did everything I just mentioned and more. I would not be visiting again and I highly suggest people don't bother going.

Yelp
Great drinks, excellent beer selection, and even better service. Food is pretty good but that's not really the reason I visit. Have had many fun times there after working at Trilith and the staff remembers us and our drink orders! Very professional and kind.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the service was great. Our party of eight enjoyed our dining experience. Love the location and the fact that you can walk off your calories by visiting the shops and sites in the area. I would recommend Barleygarden.
